So I got home about lunchtime from school because revision lessons ended early. I "tidied" my room and waited for Naruchii to turn up. When she did, we almost immediately got in to cosplay mode and were running about like headless chickens sorting our wigs, testing out bandages and generally making last day adjustments.

Later, much Singstar ensued, fuelled by Pepsi Max.

We attempted at the Queen version, but shockingly, Naru doesn't even know the song "Bohemian Rhapsody", which is practically blasphemy in my eyes, so we had to switch to Abba.
While making our "Free Hug" signs for the next day, "Dancing Queen" played five times. Five. O-o
I now know it word-perfect

I made the mistake of providing Naru with more Pepsi Max right before we went to bed.
Note to self: NEVER DO IT AGAIN.




Saturday 23rd May

It almost feels wrong to start at the very beginning when there's so much to get through. One boy asked me to write what I thought about the day in one word and mine was: Superawesomeduper. It's a word, I swear!

After a lot of continued running about, Naruko and I (donned in my Chuunin Sasuke cosplay) arrived at Jasmine's (Kisuke) and met her and Jordie; who was cosplaying Yoruichi as well as Zoe, who was a brilliant Hiyori.

We set off and uhm, got a little lost along the way (darn you DLR train reroutes), but eventually made it to the expo! Straight away, Kisuke and Yoruichi found a big group of Bleach cosplayers and stuck right in. Hilarious photos were born from that. Meanwhile, Naru and I had made some friends that we stood in the queue with!

I got to hug and possibly scare and it was great to meet them Jasmine also almost died when she met the person from whom she learnt to make her benihime. Aww.

The queue itself was a story and a half: so many free hugs!

We finally got into the expo and I bought... a poster ! (Yeah, I don't buy much) Jazze bought anything and everything related to Kisuke and Benihime and Jordie went crazy on Hitsugaya merchandise. Naru also got a poster and a cute Gaara plushie and... something else, though I forget.

Then we ventured back outside and it was the best time ever. There were so many hugs that we have vowed to keep a tally next time. I can't physically write everything that happened but here are a few excellent highlights (and they are not in the right order- everything was a blur of awesome!)

1- Spotting two out of the five cosplayers of Hitman Reborn that I saw all day, running at them full pelt screaming: "REBOOOOOOORRRRNNN!" and proceeding to buffet the Reborn backwards into an awkward hug.
Then turning to do the very same to the Lambo that was with Reborn. He was wearing a very petrified expression. But I loved them anyway :3

2- Seeing a character that held the sign 'free assasinations', turning away and then turning back only a few seconds later to figure out in no time at all that: A laughing Naruko + an advancing 'free assasinations' person = trouble!
I ran behind poor Yoruichi and also Naruko, screaming my head off for help. Bad Sasuke.
Then he got me so I fell to the ground. It was fun.

3- After we were worn out, we were all sat on a bench near the river and suddenly my group all proclaim: AWWWWWW.
I look down and there is a mini Sasuke cosplayer holding her arms out to me for a hug! She was adorable! My group took many pictures of us together; in which I look OVERLY happy. I was.

4- Getting a photo of a brilliant Murkuro and being glomped by a Deidara that told me it was worth dying for Sasuke.

It was over all too soon. We saw some cosplayers on the way home and even got a free hug out of Kings Cross station! Fancy that.

Later, we went into Asdas in cosplay and filmed. It was freaking hilarious.

A BIG thanks to Jazze and her mum for taking us to the expo and putting up with us all night ! :3

I dressed as the White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland which was nice. I'm not sure anyone got who I was supposed to be, but the rabbit ears helped people get the rabbit part at least!

Overall, I will really miss everyone that isn't going to be there when I go back to school for sixth form, it has been an excellent 5 years.

However, it is not quite yet time to say goodbye for good. There are still exams, the Alton Towers trip and the prom to go! Roll on more of the good times!

Well, the outfit was fine as was the wig and everything, it was just the photos! I took several hours scouting for a good place to take them and after about 50 shots found a great place. Then it was just getting a pose and including everything I wanted to show (e.g a full body shot) which failed miserably. After a while, I managed to get 3 good shots of different things but I wanted a fourth shot too. SOMEHOW I managed to delete ALL three of the good shots while attempting to delete rubbishy fourth shot attempts TT.TT
So then I gave up.

Well, at least I've learnt something from this experience: LET OTHERS TAKE THE PICTURE!! lol XD

I've been just revising quite a bit lately and also catching up on some missed animes.
I finished reading 07-Ghost and have watched the first episode of the anime too, its quite beautiful! I've also started watching Hitman Reborn, which has a very interesting style (I chose this one because of all the cosplays on it).
Oh and I'm continuing to watch Junjou Romantica which is a very cute Yaoi anime.

Uhm, so where to begin?

Ah well I wore my We Will Rock You London shirt to the concert. Many others wore the same shirt, including a very fat man, who gave me the thumbs up for wearing said shirt XD

The way to Manchester took a long time due to traffic, but we got there on time so that was okay. There were some amazingly cool shirts being sold there, I especially loved the ones with a picture of Freddie at Wembley on- very inspirational. However, I never got one.. or a programme... which was quite disappointing because it was such a great show.

When we got to our seats (or so we thought) we showed an usher our tickets and he pointed waaaaaaaaaaaay up to the very top row of seats. Oooohooo I hate heights and it was VERY high. I was a bit worried because I didnt know whether I would even recognise who was who on the stage (I could in the end but even Brian May who is almost a giant XD, fit between my nails if I squinted my eyes haha)

The crowd around us was SOOOO rubbish!! Some didnt even clap and they were so much lower than us i was like: "IF YOURE NOT GONNA ENJOY IT GIVE US YA SEATS DAMNIT!!!"
Anywhoooo me and my uncle and my dad really clapped and sang along and danced !

It was soooooo surreal when Brian May came out on stage for the first time... it was like 'oh. there's Brian May... OMG BRIAN MAY!!!'
And Roger Taylor was kinda hidden by the drum kit but later he walked around the stage and so that was cool too.

The best songs...
Oooooh yes, Love of My Life was brilliant, just Brian sung it playing acoustics. He said 'This one was written by our former singer, who unfortuantely, couldn't be with us tonight..'
Which made me laugh and feel sad at the same time.

Of course Bohemian Rhapsody was AWESOME!! They did the whole Freddie video, and by the time everyone finished clapping and cheering, my hands felt like they were going to drop riiiight off.

Radio Gaga was cool too, everyone clapping in time- as well as We Will Rock You.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love was pretty fun, cos we all danced and it just rocks. Actually, All Right Now was really good too, even if I'm still slightly torn on whether Paul Rodgers should have joined Queen. He was good, I have to admit. He was very good.
It's just... Freddie was PHENOMENAL!!!

We came out of the concert but Queens songs didnt stop there XD
Some person was playing 'Its a Kind Of Magic' at full volume out of their car and then we walked into the town and 'Bicycle Race' and 'You're my Best Friend' were playing over loud speakers !!

Overall, just amazing. I wish I could go again!

Right, well... things started off terribly as usual. My dads genetically haunting bad luck earned us a five hour delay for our departure flight. So, sitting in Gatwick airport with nought to compensate for the delay but a lot of free drinks was really boring.

There were some saucy looking lads in the Airport-which I named the 'boys in blue'. Namely because they were all wearing blue t-shirts with funny nicknames on the back. One with the nickname 'Old Man' was very dishy.

Plane journey wasn't much. Got to Greece quite late. The 'boys in blue' were on our coach so I was pretty adamant that they would get off at out hotel. They didn't. I also made an idiot out of myself by spilling Fanta all over my sister and her friend. Well the chair gap felt like my sister was holding the bottle, okay!?

The hotel (Hotel Grand) did indeed look very grand. Marble for all! We had a welcome meal that wasn't particularly wonderful - "someones left a turd on my plate" was how Jodie described one piece of food on the menu. There was this really good looking boy in a brown shirt there who kept staring at us because we were falling about laughing at Jodie's description of our meal.

Anyway, the kids and the two adults had seperate rooms which were supposed to be next door to each other but ended up being in different blocks. Anyway, we were so tired that we just flopped down to sleep.

By Friday we were moved into the same block as my parents, only three doors away which was good. The rooms were very clean and had tvs, which we watched a lot of Jetix on. I love Pucca! Hehe.

Oh and the news was pretty good out there- you knew everything that was going on in England and the main world headlines. Respects to the families of the honeymooners that were killed in Antigua.

The pool was great, not freezing cold like in Lanzarotte! I got sunburnt so bad that I got blisters that had to be sorted by a doctor. So now I am tanned three quarters of the way up my arm then I have a massive pink patch. Then white.

There weren't a lot of English people. The English people that were there didn't really talk to us, either. So we found refuge in a German boy called Simon (before we knew his name we called him 'eyeliner boy' because he has really long eyelashes and so looks like hes wearing eyeliner!) who my sister had a very innocent 'holiday romance' with! The brown shirted boy went off with some other girls and then disappeared after 10 days.

We went out a few times, to this very nice restaraunt. We played Crazy Golf there. I won the first time but my sister tore up the sheet. Then the second time I failed miserably and lost. Oh well.

The best trip was Chrissi Island, which was very hot. It was like a tropical island where the sea is so clear you can see the soft sand underneath it. I loved being in that sea!

Then there was Water City, a water park. I went on this space bowl that absolutely killed your back and you couldn't breathe because the water splashed all in your face. So all good fun, really!

My Dad made the best of friends with the Bartender (Tony). He was very nice and kept giving me free juice shots haha!

I did get to use the internet but there was always a queue waiting behind me for the one computer that worked, so I didn't think it wise to come on deviantart and start up working on the 470 deviations, 332 messages and 1 note I have to clear up. -__-'

Anyway, it was a good time. I hope to go back there sometime in the future!

However, despite the depressing nostalgia, this week has been pretty darn good.
London on Monday (yesterday) was jolly good fun, if I do say so myself. Although I don't think I'll be rushing back to those never ending spiralling steps up to the mind boggingly high heights at St Paul's Cathedral...
Standing near Buckingham Palace eating chocolate muffins was quite surreal, too. There were a lot of American and French tourists around London. A lot.
Also, the tour guide on the second tour bus we got on: his voice seemed amazingly and beautifully camp when we first got on the bus. However, after he managed to fit a very nazally sounding: 'Victoria Palace' into one sentence about five times, I think we were all pleased to leave the sound behind!

Thorpe Park today was very fun too. I trekked round with Jazzy and Seema, as they aren't big fans of rides either. Yay scardeycat team! I spent £10 in the arcades. Bad girl. I think I have a gambling problem! Anyway... out of that I won a Wario plushie toy which me and Olivia plan to campify on Thursday using sparkles and dye. Also a Winnie-the-Pooh keyring, which worried Alisha greatly. We missed out on the waffles with ice-cream though, because someone vomited on the ride we were queueing for. Yeah, not two things you see together often in a sentence, I admit.
Waffles and vomit. Yeuch.

Then there was Livvy doing dirty acts with Wario and Luigi plushies! We roared with laughter. My sides hurt more than when Hannah tickles them. Owwie.

Speaking of Hannah, I must remember to punish her. She gave me the 'Watchmen' book on Monday morning meaning that I had to lug it on and off of trains and on and off of tubes. Then poor Mrs Sarantos had to lug it on and off of buses and on and off of boats. Also up and down the St Pauls cathedral and around London. Feel our pain, damnit! (Don't worry it's my fault really- I thought we were getting a coach there and back. I also wish I bought a bag with me!)

Anywhoooo mum is yelling now so must run.
But the watchmen book is brilliant!

I know it's only June/Early July, but I've already decided that I'm going as Mello (Death Note) to the October London Anime Expo!

This is because last time I didn't get the cosplay stuff for Ema Skye until like a few days before we went and it was a rush!!!

I need... leather trousers and a bodywarmer type top with that damn necklace that I'll probably need to make.

So if anyone goes as Near, L or Matt, you're GETTING glomped. If you go as Light, you're GETTING bitchslapped XD. Okay, I'm not that harsh!

The best part is, I can stuff down excess loads of chocolate without people giving me a second glance.

OKAY I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I'M DOING 2 FANDOMS!!

My first chosen fandom is: Phoenix Wright!

Song 1- Don't wanna miss a thing- Aerosmith:
Phoenix meeting Edgeworth at the airport after he comes back from his two year abscence as a suprise. Lawyerly love moment!!! Glomping time for Edgy =3.

Song 2- In my world- SR-71
Gumshoe angsting because Edgeworth is happy with Phoenix
But the poor detective is hopelessly in love with him and tries to get his attention.

Song 3- Rockstar- Nickelback
Apollo and the older Ema Skye having a rant at Gavin for acting like a 'glimmerous fop' XD

Song 4- It's a kind of magic- Queen
Trucy and Valant's magic show, with a slight interruption when hobo phoenix trips over a prop!

Song 5- Umbrella- Rihanna
Maya standing under a freezing waterfall, in a desperate attempt to help Nick by channeling her sister. Then Nick and Pearly turn up to save her from hypothermia! Nick wraps her in a big towel with a big hug and they both yell at her for being so stupid!!

Song 6- Bleeding love- Leona
Maya and Nick falling out over Trucy because they can't investigate cases any more and Nick has to spend a lot of time with Trucy as she is so young. Maya ends up leaving and going back to the Kurain village. (I dont think this actually happened so there is not a spoiler)

My Second chosen fandom is: Death Note

Song 1- Numb/Encore- Linkin Park/Jay Z
Mello snapping at Near for being more like L than him. He attempts to kill Near but in the end, can't do it and storms out. Outside it's raining, which is supposed to resemble the last bit of the song. (the 'numb' part).

Song 2- Another one bites the dust- Queen
Kira killing off criminals and vowing to kill L too. He's crazed with power.

Song 3- It ends tonight- All American Rejects
Every competition that Kira took place in ending: the tennis match, his killing spree, his battle with L, his involvement with Misa and finally, his own curtain falling.

Song 4- Fill my little world - The Feeling
L in a dream where he's running through fields of falling candy. He gets in a huge fountain of chocolate and fetches strawberries from the bottom by diving down. Then he gets into a giant teapot and just floats there... it ends with him waking up chewing on his pillow.

Song 5- Bring me to life- Evanescence
Mello and Near tearing themselves up over L. They're so obsessed with catching Kira, they lose their heads and attempt to revive L. It obviously doesn't work.

Song 6- What's my age again?- Blink 182
Misa, L, Near and Mello all acting very childish in their ways. Misa being cheeky and teasing, L eating his candy all snuggled up in his chair, Near playing with his lil toys and Mello eating loads of chocolate. Light is looking at them all in sheer horror.
