Problem is that I've been stuck on the format. My initial idea was to do a black and white quarterly, but could in theory do it in color...which I would really love. BUT it would be much more expensive to print.

So, my question to you is this: Would you rather have a 45-48 page b&w art/sketchbook for around $10 or a color version for around $20?

I'll be part of a new comic art blog called "Comic Twart" (no, I didn't come up with the name ;) It's the brain child of Chris & Laura Samnee, and they invited a pretty bad ass group of artists to be a part of the blog. The premise is that every week there will be a new character chosen for the group to draw. We will post our art as we finish it, starting every Monday. Each week will bring a new character.

This week's character is....ZORRO!! (who I've never drawn in my life and so have been fumbling through my version of him all weekend!)

One, it's a professional picture which makes me feel like it's some how more vainish? Is that dumb? I have an old friend who is a film maker and photographer and one night he was in town and said lets just take some pictures. I came straight from the studio, no shower or shave. So I look kinda haggard ;)

So, my question to you folks is would you be interested? I'd started with Vol. 0 of the webcomic, and work my way to Vol. 2.

I figure I'd take pre-orders for about a month or so, and ship the books out a month after that...depending on the printer. If I can, I'd like to keep the price of the book around 10 to 15 bucks. If you pre-order I'd offer maybe 30% off or so, give or take. Or maybe I'd offer it with a print instead. Haven't worked out the details yet.
