yup pretty much, I've been EXTREMELY busy with college, arg! anyways, I finally got some free time this week, aka today. These are the updates, I entered yet again another contest....failed. Oh well *sighs. College is going great, lots of work, but great none the less. Work...bah.

so deviant update, I will be loading some stock images after I finish this journal. as many of you have already noticed, I've begun to use many of my own stock for some of my manipulations, well mainly the models per say, so i figured I would be nice and upload a few pictures so that you all can use them! HURRAY!!! x]

So pretty much like the title says, I've been gone for awhile from deviant. Well like a couple of weeks or so, I just had been extremely busy these last few weeks. With getting ready to start college and all, man crazy stuff. I started this week, and my schedule is a bit chaotic classes are all over when it comes to time. It's okay though, I'll make it work lol. So far I'm having a good college experience so I hope it stays that way. ^.^ If you don't know, currently I'm majoring in nursing and minoring in photography. Very different I know. And I say currently well because, I'm still not sure so I might end up changing my major a few times, it's all part of the process x].

On a lighter note, life has been pretty good, I mean because of school I haven't had much time to talk to my significant other, but I'm figuring out how to manage time and make room for him. So ya!!!! He's probably the only person who is able to handle my time schedule now and won't give me crap about it. One of the many reason's why I love him so much. ^.^

So um I hadn't really submitted much until today. I submitted three works today. Woohoo!!!! Hopefully I'll submit one more before the night is over. I don't know about you, but I think I'm starting to actually do decent on my photo manipulations. Mhm. I really want to become better at it, so practice practice practice my professor says lol.

My psychology professor also said, people never want to be the only one's to stand up, they wait until someone else stand's up, then they follow. Funny how that works, if you're in a classroom in particular if a teacher says something like, "stand up if you like spending time with your family?"... The majority of students' thought process might go a little like this.

"well I enjoy time with my family, but no one else is standing up. oh man that might mean that's not really that cool. of course it's not cool. spending time with family psh. I'm suppose to be partying....but I love my family. I can't betray them." *see's someone finally stand up* "oh phew i'm not alone!" *stands up*

yup yup.... lol
Now I wonder what goes through the minds of those people that are the first to stand up. hmmmm We'll leave that for another day. ^.^ :P

So some of you may know, and some of you may not. Last month I entered a contest, and unfortunately I did not win, nor did I make top 10 or so. Which makes me kinda sad. Why? well......when I submitted I made peace with my mind that there was no way I was going to get first place because there were two entries that I was just like wowwwwwww. However, I thought I would at least make bottom 10 or something because some of the other works were good, but they were just idk... ya lol. So here I go to check results and low and behold no number one for me duh, but when I saw number one my head spun around three times, it was one of the "not so great" submissions I saw there and I was utterly amazed to see that the two that I thought were just like wow..... did not get chosen for second place. Only one of them made it into the top 10. Idk. That is just disappointing. Very disappointing. le sigh. stupid contests. reminds me why I never liked them in the first place. -.- either way I submitted again for this month. Lets see if better one's get chosen this time around. OH wells. Hey if anyone knows of any other contests, can you all let me know please. ^.^ I would be very much interested in joining. Thanks. Wish me luck this round. Hopefully I make at least top 10. lol

On another note, I tried the chat rooms last night.... well that was a weird experience... well not weird just disappointing... hmmm maybe I just didn't stop by in rooms at the right time. Anyone know of any good chat's here on deviant? Would be fun to join lol. yup pretty much.

So I find myself to be utterly uncontent with my current deviant avatar, seriously its like blah. -.- Idk. I really want a new avatar, any one of any sort of suggestions for an avatar. I'm looking for something dark/evil/mistress oriented lol duh.... =P. Currently, I'm completely blank as to what to do for it, sooo ya.

On another note, today meaning in the last two hours I ran into more art theft right here on deviant then I ever thought possible. Stupid "rippers." Of course I reported them and I contacted the original owners, hopefully something will get done about this soon. Also what is up with all these stupid little girls and boys putting self portrait pictures under photomanipulation all because they just changed the stupid contrast or something insignificant as that, it's irritating me! I mean when I go to the photomanipulation section it's because I want to see different stock images blended together to create a masterpiece or something like a master piece, lol, that looks nothing like the original picture, THAT'S PHOTO MANIPULATION! NOT something stupid skanky hoe that just changed her contrast. -.- arg lol yup that's my rant for today, I think. :P

I ended up just sitting down on the floor, it was funny too. After I sat down my boyfriend sat down and other people started to sit down as well, I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't like them lol)
Dragonforce (now these guys I'm a fan of, not many people like them, but I love seeing them live. They're just so dam entertaining, flipping people off and just not giving a fuck about what other's think, they just have fun. They're were very fun to watch. I didn't pay much part of the whole moshing or singing along or anything like that though. It was just like oh woohoo. x])
Disturbed (They were really fun to play along with. As in joining in to singing and so fourth. I really enjoyed them.)
Slipknot (Now these guys WOW! I've always been a fan of them just not a REAL fan. It was always like meh, okay good band. Anyways..... type of attitude. However, after seeing them live, OMG! I just fell in love with these guys!!!!! I can not express enough how much dam fun i had with these guys!!! To put it in simple terms by the end of their performance I could barely talk, my throat was sore as hell from singing along and my body felt like it was going to fall apart from all the moshing and pushing people around that happened. It was fucken worth seeing these guys live, THEY'RE INSANE!!!!)

At the end of all this, I'm so dam happy that I went with my boyfriend. We really bonded a lot closer that night. It was just amazing and I got to meet his cousin, who well was pretty awesome himself. Although there were a few times where it was like GAH! DON'T BE AFRAID!!!! x] but he was cool. :) And it took me this long to talk about this because, I finally feel fully recharged again lol. Its my boyfriend's youtube account so for all you MAGGOTS out there go check it out and favorite and so fourth :)

With that said, I join my first deviant group today lol Guess what type of group it is? SLIPKNOT!!! woohoo, from the looks of it, it was just started so don't be afraid to check it out.
