I'm trying to use Photoshop more, and get into colouring and actually fleshing out my drawings, speaking of which, I haven't drawn anything fleshy for a while. Anyway, my next upload will be for Christmas, and let's just say it should be a character that NOBODY can dislike. (And is not another ploy for more Hits)

Me and my friend went down for the weekend and had a great time, spent way too much money on cheap AnimÃ© box sets, and got to play a load of games, waiting for the photos to be developed and will have them up on Thurs.

My website is coming along okay and should be up by the weekend, gonna have a BIG review on the London event, as well as many other things, I'll post a link up with more information on the site when it's good and ready.

I've finally got my creative mood back, even have a few books to research with, so as a result I will soon present a few new pieces.

I realised now what I should focus on, I'm not very good with colour and have always ruined anything I make by trying to colour, I will now focus on simple black and white schemes. It's been about a year since I started getting into drawing, and in that time I've improved a bit, I didn't' think it would take me this long to find out what I can do, but all I can say is that it was worth it. I have a whole collection of pads with drawings that I can look through and see how I've improved and changed style, and now I can feel proud that I have achieved something.

Anyway enough with the boring chit-chat, it's time to draw!

I've been getting a few ideas for drawings, this months issue has shown quite a range of styles and ideas which I may use, it's quite inspirational to see so many people's styles and interpretations, even to be able to see how their skills have developed through each piece created.

I keep thinking that I'm not good enough to draw, but when I look back at the 3-4 Pads full of drawings I have I think....hang on, maybe I can do something, it's just finding the right time and mood, I seem to find 11pm the best time for some reason.

Anyway I've been messing with Photo Manipulation and have almost 100 different banners made for a website idea I have, maybe I should incorporate some of what I've learned into the process of colouring my drawings.

Back to the drawing board!

One of my first "attempts" at drawing was a sketch of Sailor Moon, which was about 2 years ago, and to be honest was awful, but I kept going back to it and eventually inspired me to start drawing more, and well...I wouldn't say I've come a long way, but I have definitely improved a lot since then.

It was awesome, great weather, great music, freakin great sunburn, which is only just going now.

My top bands for the evening were:

N*E*R*D - Thought they'd be crap but were the complete opposite.
Jay-Z - Fantastic, put on a great performance and I would see him Live again.
Linkin Park - Need I say more, they kicked ass the whole night, then ended by perfoming with Jay-Z, top notch performance.

Now I feel refreshed and have the motivation I need to get back into creating, plus I've managed to learn a few new things with Photoshop which has made my colouring hell a bit better.

Oh and I'm gonna do a huge overhaul and clean up aload of my submissions, awsell a prepare a load of stuff to upload.

But anyway once it's Christmas I'll be able to use my Tablet on it, YAY!! So I can finally use Photoshop with it and improve my drawing.

Oh and I've just started writing a story, Descendants of the Past, it's based upon a book written by a friend of mine (which he will hopefully have published in the near future for everyone to read).
It's set in the future, where Humans are no longer existant, but their "creations" have continued their legacy of existance.

I could say more but I'd rather not spoil anything, lol!
