                <description><![CDATA[ . v6 of dA is just great, some disturbing stuffs at first time but now all run perfect and already forget v5...<br /><br /><div align="center"> ------------ </div><br />.   I use my new PC with Vista Pro x64 for more than one month now and run perfect too. I appreciate that 32bits softwares are more memory efficients than running on XP 32bits.<br /><br />It is very noticeable with Maya 8.5 32bits edition, which was too often 'out of free memory' when rendering picture with larges textures, even on a 2Go system...<br /><br /><div align="center"> ------------ </div><br />. I'm currently working on my first commission, 'hope to finish it this week.<br />I tried some new stuff like MentalRay's Final Gathering (FG), a fast lighting feature to produce more realistic lighting without too much rendering time consuming...<br /><br /><div align="center"> ------------ </div><br />.                 <description><![CDATA[ Received my new PC last monday, a Dell Precision Workstation (quadcore 2.5Ghz, 8Go, Vista64), one day to clean-up and setup<br />properly Vista64 (no Areo, no UAC, no fa- shioned OS, thanks I'm not a kid <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/n/no.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":no:" title="No, I disagree!" />), installing all the tools and softs.<br /><br />Testing with Zbrush 3.1 (more than 14 millions poly with no soucy), Mudbox runs smooth too even both are not yet 64bits compiled...<br /><br />Maya 2008 64bits works perfectly and rendering takes so little time now and the most important, I can continue to work normally when I launch a render, thanks the 8Go of Ram and four cores <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/t/typerhappy.gif" width="31" height="17" alt=":typerhappy:" title="OMG MOAR POEMS!" /><br /><br />I appreciate the system backup too, with that you can restore from scratch all the system (OS and softs with all the setups) in a few minutes <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/l/love.gif" width="23" height="16" alt=":love:" title="Love" /><br /><br />And last word, the PC is so quiet, I must see the green light to know it's running <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" /><br /><br /> ]]></description>

                <description><![CDATA[ <div align="center"><br /><br />This monday (23 june) if UPS is not late<br />I will just receive my new 'tool' <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/a/aww.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":aww:" title="Aww" /><br />A Dell Precision T3400 workstation with an<br />Intel Q9300 quad 2.5Ghz core, 8Go of ram<br />and... Vista64.<br /><br />Don't know if Vista64 is enough debugged yet,<br />maybe I'll purchase a XP64 license later, anyway...<br /><br />I hope I can render picture at least four time faster<br />than my actual Shuttle P4 3Ghz, I'll make some benchmarks <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" /><br /><br />And the more effective stuff is that I can work normally<br />with one core when the three other calculates a picture,<br />it's why I take 8Go of ram (and 64bits OS).<br /><br />And maybe I can start to make some more advanced lighting<br />scenes with global illumitation and final gathering with<br />MentalRay or VRay...<br /><br />'have a nice week end <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" /><br /><br /></div><br /><br /> ]]></description>

                <description><![CDATA[ I just open my 3D galery today, 'hope you like it <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" /><br /><br />A little technical point :<br />I use Poser with DAZ Victoria3 or 4 models then refine them<br />with Autodesk Mudbox and finishing render with Maya.<br />Vegetations maintly done with Maya PaintFx.<br />Compositing and post effects with Photoshop CS.<br /><br />In the future I'll plan to learn Vue d'Esprit or Terragen for generating<br />wide wild landscapes for the pictures background <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" /><br /><br />PS : I'll post some work in progress pictures in the scrapbook<br />if I can find how to.<br /> <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/letters/=p.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":p" title=":p (Lick)" /><br /><br /> ]]></description>
