I recently started a project on creating real My Little Ponies out of horse stock. So far I have a completed Minty (will be posted later) and a half-way done Royal Bouquet.

For those of you who don't know, I collect MLPs and am absolutely in love with them. This project seems to be the perfect stress reliever and a way to practice my photo manipulation [:

:iconmalepregnancy: is rooming with me again, and this time our mutual friend Leland is coming as well as his friend Tim who neither Levi or me have met. But who cares? AZ is always about meeting new people.

Another reason I can't wait...I have much more money to blow this year! Last year I spent a little over two hundred on a plethora of things: pictures, plushies, manga, buttons.....[pocky] And at Nashicon a month or so ago I bought my first figurines (three Lacus Clynes which were absolutely adorable) and I'm excited about buying more. Last year there was a wood carver who's work was absolutely gorgeous. She had a carving of Loveless (the cover of volume one I believe) and it was absolutely amazing. I could not afford it, however, as it was a bit over two hundred and by that point I only had a hundred left. This year though, this year I am going prepared!

I will take a thousand more pictures and promise not to starve myself and my husband like last year because we totally did not plan well. The whole weekend we had a few bits of sugar cookies from our roommate. They were delicious, of course, but we were still....so so hungry.

In other news. I need to create a separate account for my icons, they're clogging up my gallery. And the next time you see me expect con photos!

Is hopefully over. Two or three new MPs involving eyes will be posted in a few days, I left my flash drive in graphics and it holds the files. All work is now done on the glorious school macs with kickass Photoshop CS (I believe it is CS, I should double check)

New poem up, may add a scrap graphics project later it is a recreation of a Discover magazine cover, current project is recreation of a Nike ad which should be pretty awesome. I have a new collage I need to make a negative of once the time comes, the fancy machine that does it (what is it called?) is currently inoperable and the dark room is unused for the time being. Hopefully we'll go back into collage making after BA is over his obsession with recreating magazines (though I must say I do enjoy it as I have the best Photoshop skills in the class and he enjoys watching me work)

We just got a tablet too, it is so much fun. No one else in the class is interested in it so I get it all to myself. It makes things so much easier (once I got used to it at first, it is not as easy as it looks). It is why I've been able to further my photo-manipulation project into three more pieces. It has also put me back into the photo editing market which I am happy of because my programs here are not sufficient enough to make me produce the work I wish to produce.

In other new I partied too hard last night and keep vomiting blue. Cyanemesis is rather entertaining, you wouldn't think so but it is. Also saw Watchmen, a masterpiece. Best movie of '09 thus far.

GA is getting frustrating, with lack of things to do. I'm reverting back to making collages since people seem to like them. Ironically a while x-acto knife attacked me when I started to cut out a moose.

Another reason is if I stay on the computer too oftly long I'll design even more shirts. I have to print four and then strip two of the screens to start on a fifth. I also have a commission for a sixth on...which I'll get around to eventually xDD

Today in Graphic Arts I did as I said, I made a negative of C2 with giggly excitement to see how it was going to turn out.

The first negative didn't turn out, it was all black with only my signature showing (which is on the back of the collage). I have no idea what happened, I think some idiot messed with it when I was in the back setting up the film.

The collage has to be put on a platform outside the darkroom, and obviously you have to handle the undeveloped film inside the darkroom so your picture is free game outside. -.-

Several hawks were waiting to do their negatives so I bet one of them bitches fucked with it and made me waste a piece of perfectly good film.

Second negative was (not really) perfect. I had to put it back in the "finisher" chemical because it was streaky, but other then that it looked fabulous. So once I was done I put it in the dryer and waited.

There are two chemicals in developing film, I wasn't paying attention when Mr. Adkins named them, but they're pretty potent. If you mix the two together you get ammonia, which as many of you know is harmful with inhaled excessively.

I noticed that there was very little chemical 1, and something really didn't smell right. After a few more people developed film there wasn't enough left to get very far so when we got Logan to refill the container he noticed the smell too.

So here my and several other negatives are, in the dryer, and there is an ammonia crisis. Somewhere in this mix up the negatives in the dryer go missing.

Thus, there will be no C2 negative today as I had promised. It's gone. Logan ate it.

Just kidding, Mr. Adkins and I looked everywhere for them and still can't find them. He said he'd help me make a new one tomorrow though I really don't need help >.>;;;

He'll probably forget anyway. I'm a forgotten type of person.

After annoyedly reminding him what happened, he told me I didn't have to redo it, that he'd give me credit for doing the negatives anyway. I didn't want to flat out say, "But I want a negative for my dA account." So while I was waiting on the big book o' clipart I made it x3

Bottom line: negative came out beautiful, but scanner made it look like crap. [link] enjoy!

So my second block is Graphic Arts I, with all the wicked printing presses and super cool Macs and dark rooms

I've never worked with a Mac before, but they are amazing. Took me a while to figure things out, but I love it!

Our assignment Friday was to play around with Adobe Illustrator

School Macs have just about every Adobe program- it's heaven.

They have everything! The only thing they need is un-monitered web D:< since the stupid school has most all cool sites blocked

Which is why I can't show you the kickass ant creature I made D: becuase hotmail.com is blocked so I couldn't send the file to myself

I recently stopped celebrating Christmas, so its not too much with me just a smile and nod, "You too."


But what about those who celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or the lesser known December holidays?

I would get offended if I was Jewish and someone told me "Merry Christmas"

So this year, as somewhat of a joke, whenever a friend told me "Merry Christmas" I'd turn around and say, "What if I don't celebrate Christmas? What would you say then, huh?"

They took it as a joke, as it was, but the best response was, "Well fuck you then." I suppose Christmas is so commericalthat it's seen as a Pagan Holiday and not as a Christian one.


As it really is. Christmas started as a Pagan holiday, but Christians turned it into their own holiday (what a surpise, eh?)

Do tell me if that statement is wrong, for one of my best friends told me and she's highly intellegent so I took her word for it.

Jesus Christ was actually born in the spring. Not in December. Go figure.


Anyway, even though Christmas is over, I'd like to ask you this for next year. Be respectful of other beliefs. Unless you know the person celebrates Christmas, don't say Merry Christmas. Say Happy Holidays. Who can get offended by that?

Last night while watching Return of the Tragic Priestess, Kikyo I found a goof-up X3

While talking to Kikyo fifty years in the past InuYasha says, "We all have our crosses to bear."

Obvious this saying is refering to Jesus and how he had to carry his cross (as well as every other person who had to be crusified.)

However, in this time period (feudal Japan) they wouldn't have known about Christianity, because it takes place around BC times. Not to mention if it is in the AD era, Japan was too cut off from the world to get any word of Jesus any time soon. And if they did the likely hood of InuYasha knowing it is very, very little.

I just thought that was funny....

I have been away for six hours.

Sunday is my busiest day of the week, I'm usually working up until eleven at night without a long break.

You know how fucking behind I am?! I have four webistes to update and not only that

I've lost at least SEVEN hours of colab work. Seven hours I may never get back!

I couldn't take my meds until a few minutes ago so my head is pouding, I'm just now drinking my first coke today so I'm tired as fuck.


You know why I couldn't come home?

Because my brother had to take a god damn nap right after Lunch with my Grandma (which I didn't mind since it's mother's day) If I could drive I would have stolen his keys and driven myself back.

Even though its a stick. ewses.

And we would STILL be there had I not said "Mason it's five, I have work to do."

Thank god I'm not on my period or else there would be some serious hell to pay.

I have a major paper due Tuesday, and I actually want to work on it today. But now I don't have time.

I'm having a period from hell.

There's a girl at my school who has torrets, usually I can stand her because she is really annoying but I know she can't help it.

But today I was just snapping at her everytime she said something. Not my proudest moment, but hell, you wouldn't be to happy either if you were bleeding out of your vagina and felt like your uterus was imploding.

Mobster Kitty has had PMS since like last wednesday and she wants to eat a mountain of french fries.

You know how pregnant woman have insane cravies.

I get those during my period, and this month is french fries. God I can't get enough of that greasy goodness.

The knives in my stomach and sides will not dull, even with medication. It's driving me crazy.

Speaking of crazy, I'm having crazy ass moodswings. Only I can control them very well. Unless its with torrets girl.

No I just want to rip her head off sometimes.

So anyone who messes with me this week will send me into psycho bitch outta hell mode.

I'm once again up for young poet of the year. I didn't even place (outside begin a finalist) last year. It's probably not good from my psyche to put myself through that again, but I will anyway.

This is an international poetry convention. I'm suprised its in Vegas again, because usually they don't do the same place two years in a row and when I got the invitation I thought it was a joke.

But, no. It's not. And I'm going again. Last time I had to walk two miles in 108 degrees weather. No cool breeze, no clouds. Just heat. And why did I walk that much in such conditions?

My mother read the damn map wrong and said after the ordeal quote "It didn't look that far on the map" unquote.

It's a map. A damn map! There's a scale that clearly says how far the Hard Rock Hotel is from the Riviera!

Right so, I was pissed, but she bought me a ring and I got over it.

I may upload some pictures from last year- I have some pretty decent skylines from outside the strip (and some good Ceasar Palace photos).

Anyways, once again I'll have to read my poem in front a room full of people. Last time I nearly feinted. Which leads me to the, if I had won, deal.

If I had one, I would have had to read it in front of an even bigger room, with about four times as many people.

I would have died. (and won an iPod or scholarship)

I can't exactly afford for a friend to come with me. And there's nothing to do in Vegas for someone under eighteen. Convention isn't that fun either.

Plus it's dirty. Dirtier then New York City. Instead of newspaper stands- there's porno stands.

Most women don't wear bras.

And quite frankly I don't want to see sacks of flab swinging freely in the breeze.

Saturday Morning: I threw up some nasty yellow goup and had a temperature of 101.0

Saturday Afternoon: After five hours of sleeping and only throwing up once more (only water this time thankfully) my fever went down to 98.5

Saturday Night: Fever spikes back to 99.5 and cant stop fucking coughing

Sunday Morning: The sensation of feeling better doesn't last long- though the urge to purge is finally gone. (mwhaha i rymed...sorta) Fever is still 99.5 My throat feels like its collapsing DX is it just me, or am I getting fucking worst?

Sunday Afternoon: Uh ohs fever's back at 100.6- this is getting annoying, anyone have some tips? (holy fuck im scaring myself with this rhyming thing) My head is killing me, my throat is scratchy, and tomorrow I get to see my doctor. XoX

Sunday Night: 101.6 oh noes!! I wish I could cut off my head =o


But atleast there's no school tomorrow (: my ears feel funny, like their on fire, is that even normal? I think my fever is getting worst, but I can't call my mom to see when the last time I took some medication was.

Since there's a big st. patrick's day festival in five points (SC) next saturday, I need to get my hair did like Elle XD

I would do it a different color but I have a little over half a bottle of blue hair dye left, and I wouldn't be able to get new dye until Sunday, which wouldn't give me enough time to make do it (in my opinion anyway).

Suuuu I'm informing all those who care (not many heh) that I'm doing that- even though those who do care will see it monday O.o

In all honesty, I'm just bored and trying to rid my hyper energy before I actually get on with it ^-^

Santa Claus and Jesus Christ's (said) "birthday" are in no way correlated.



Therefor the giving/recieving of gifts has nothing to do with Christ's (supposed) birth date. [(fyi if he is 'real' then his birthday was in spring months, not in december. I'd rather not go into that now, as it digs into something with the Pagans and well my friend Danny knows more about it then I do, so look it up yourself if you're skeptic)]



For all of those out there who say that those who are not Christian should not receive gifts- your morons.

The giving and recieving of gifts began with Saint Nicholas (be aware that there is no solid proof on his actual existance). The Saint would leave gifts (such as fruits and nuts) in the shoes of children (as their shoes remained outside in those times/places) one night in December (arguably which date. Some say the fifth, others say during avent, or on Christmas eve) or in some beliefs Saint Nicholas was female and left gifts in children's stockings.

Saint Nicholas variations-

Europe: Santa/Saint Nicholas

Germany: Weinachtsmann is a helper of the Christkind

France: Père Noël

Russia: under the influence of communism, St. Nicolas evolved into the secular Father Frost

Lab Rats was more of a "political cartoon" only it was making fun of a situation at school- not actual politics but the concept is the same.

The Family (first strip ever, yeah =^o^=) was the life of Ima Canable, Death, Death's son Figi, and their dog- bone dog. Yea it was strange and something I did three years ago so...not going to bother with that one.


Simon and Sally is a new strip I just started a few days ago, and the first one to be featured in my gallery. I will have it up after christmas because I have to edit is with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 instead of the lame ass photoimpression 4.0 that i have DX ...and I'm not getting that till after christmas since its one of my gifts (yay)...
