A follow-up to my previous journal. This weekend, instead of working on homework or anything school-related, so far I have been typing crazily on my novel for NaNoWriMo. And you know what? I fiiiiniiiished! *laughs maniacally*

It was great. Yesterday I was like at 46k and then today I worked off the outline I made during my off hour on Friday, and now, with everything finished, I have 52,460 words. I'm so very, very proud. Some days when I was supposed to be typing I would stare and ignore it, then surf other sites. I thought about it constantly and eventually looked forward to working on it when I came home. So yeah, it wasn't painful at all, but more enjoyable than anything.

I can collect my "prizes" for it on the twenty-fifth through the thirtieth, but I got done well before the deadline so HA! I laugh in the face of my procrastinating gene because it didn't get the best of me this time. My novel is officially complete and when I reread it, I get nostalgic over the insane typing sessions I had. :] It was a lot of fun. You can check out my awesome proof here:

Hurp durp I did it and I'm just so ecstatic. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this novel now. O: I kind of want to add more to it, but my word count is so even and lovely (I know, I'm so OCD I made is specifically so that it would turn out even, odd numbers are stupid).

Now I'm going to frolic off and work on a Jacob Black fanfic because Robyn and I watched New Moon on Friday and I am Jakenergized. :D

What you do is you sign up on the site on the first of November, and by the thirtieth, before midnight, you're supposed to submit a full-length novel of roughly 175 pages and 50,000 words (or more) in length. Then you win...hooray. It teaches you all about just getting yourself to WRITE for the sake of WRITING and not being so nitpicky and particular about certain things.

I thought about it for a while and decided that...I was going to do it. I mean, it's already four days into November, so I'm a bit behind and I'm not sure I can finish it in time. I really hope I can because it would be so awesome! I'm going to write the "novel" on the comic I'm working on - the Stolen Summer thing I mentioned before. I have the characters and the plot in mind, so it's just getting down and writing out the story that's doing me in. This should help me a lot once I actually get down and draw it...hum...

I started tonight and I've already got well over a thousand words. xD I really hope that by writing like crazy I can achieve my goal and submit this in by the thirtieth; it's just a huge accomplishment. I think I'm going to put this as a top priority and take a break this month and focus solely on this. I do have other writing projects but they'll have to wait. DX

2.) This weekend we have four days off. I find that pretty rocktastic, yo. *gangsign* That means I get to write moar fanfiction. 3.) I learned that no matter how dull plastic may be, it's still dangerous. I have a mark to prove it.

4.) Apparently girls in high school still don't know about personal hygiene. I guess "Tampon Tag" is a pretty big deal. Srsly though, in one of the bathroom stalls, there was blood on the stall wall and all over the floor. What is this I don't even

5.) Flu shots are icky. ): I got mine two days ago and my arm is still sore. Plus, it just made me sick(er). I have a really crappy immune system as it is...

6.) What are we doing for Halloween? ?_? I want to know so I will be able to convince my parents to get me a new costume. If we're just handing out candy I could reuse an old one, but if we're going trick-or-treating, then I'd like to be something new...

  • Asshole anime nerds.
    I'm not talking about the geeky type of kids who like anime and constantly discuss it. Today I was on the bus, and some guy asked this girl what she was reading. When she explained it, he said it was a "crappy manga" and talked down on her. She then said she hadn't read/watched Naruto shipuuden, but she planned to. So what does this fucker do? He starts making up spoilers. "Oh yeah, Sasuke kills Tsunade and Naruto, the end is really stupid. I know because I met the creator of Naruto and he told me, even though I didn't want to know."

    You have probably NEVER met Kishimoto, let alone know his name enough for this story to even be considered legit. Why the hell would he tell a fan how the story ends? It defeats the purpose of him selling manga and making money. Plus, most authors when writing stories, don't even have the whole plot worked in their head. They may have a general idea of what they are going to do, but not everything completely. If Kishimoto had known how hard his fans would've raged at Gaara and Kakashi's "deaths", I think he would've made them stay dead. What a nice way to make yourself look like a total douche.


  • Kids who think they're funny.
    The obnoxious types. You know, the ones in class who never seem to know when to SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. No one cares. I feel bad for them at first, but then I realize why everyone hates them so much. It's because they don't seem to comprehend the fact that they're being ignored for a reason, or simply choose to disregard it. Today at J-Club there was this girl who kept asking the most obvious questions, ones that made me think, "Wow, are there really people this annoying?"

    I don't know if it's just because I'd like to think I'm more mature than most high school students for the most part, or if it's because the people are really just that idiotic. I was walking with Robyn in the hall and some guy thought it would be funny to hit me in the ass with his pom-pon he brought for the game. His friend with him laughed and the two walked off. Oh yeah, asshole. Real funny that you hit me just because I walked in front of you to get to my locker.


  • People who constantly demean others.
    I can understand why some people would make fun of other kids in their class, and it's okay when things are down to a minuscule scale or they're light teasing. What I can't stand is people bullying on others just because they feel like it. In my Literature class, a girl was trying to talk and explain her ideas, which another classmate kept scoffing at. There are people in my classes who snicker and make fun of every single mistake that others make, or if they do something weird.

    One day in Lit, I was nervous because I was talking in front of the whole class, and instead of looking up to face the sea of eyes, I traced circles on my desk with my pencil eraser. Then some kids in the back started to laugh and mimic me, making large circles on THEIR desks and doing it obnoxiously. They didn't even have the courtesy to make it discreet, but were openly throwing it in my face and I can't do anything about it.


  • Those who don't know the meaning of personal space.
    Alex and I were talking about this one morning. I was sitting on the bus happily, staring out the window and minding my own business. It was the last stop on our route. I am the first person on the bus almost every day. I have to get up earlier than the rest of the kids to find a seat near the front and have one to myself. So here I am, sitting here, and these couple of kids sit in front of me. That's fine and dandy. Then some douchebag walks and hovers over me, expecting me to move my things so he can sit with me to talk to his friends.

    Normally I wouldn't care, if he had asked or made it clear he wanted to sit there. Instead he just took a seat on the corner of the seat so I HAD to move my things and accommodate him. Oh, I'm sorry, was I in your way? I didn't mean to be, there's only twenty other seats that have other people you can sit with. He didn't even talk to his friends on the way to school, but sat there to feel comforted or some shit.



    • That's what I have for right now because it was on the top of my head. Any agreements out there? xD I don't rant often, but when I do it, I try to make it worthwhile.

Shit, son. I can't believe this. The 26th of August is in a couple of days. Tomorrow is officially the last day of summer. Where the hell did my happy little summer go? :/ I accepted the fact that school was coming and I actually got a little excited, because that means I get to see all of you guys again...every day. ^.^ We no longer have to try to set up random times to meet and have people missing from the group. Anyway. I am kind of sad because now that school is starting back up again, I have less time for fanfics. A couple of people already know, but I have this porntastic Kakashi story I've been working on all summer, which I finished. Yesterday I was happily sitting on the couch watching an episode of Law & Order I recorded, when there's a knock at the door. I look over at it and someone actually twists the doorknob. Luckily it's locked. Thinking it's my younger brother who forgot his keys, I peer through the curtains to see who it is. But it's some random guy with a uniform and a clipboard standing outside. I find my mom who was in her room and she comes out to see him (since he rang the doorbell). By the time she gets there, the dude is across the street. I didn't tell her about him trying to open the door until after she saw he was gone. I thought about it later that day and wondered if maybe he didn't try to open the door and it was just my hearing. But when I woke up this morning my mom was telling my dad about that same guy who tried to open our door and THEN knocked. What. The. Fuck. I therefore dubbed him Mr. Survey Man and he will haunt me forever in my dreams. The end!

Usually, my strategy is to swallow it and just act normal so that people around me won't think anything is wrong and I won't have to worry them. I know you guys all have your own problems and you don't need mine on your shoulders. But sometimes when the emotions build up too much I try to distance myself from people so I won't ruin their time with my low mood.

I tried to do this on Thursday so you guys wouldn't have to deal with it, but I guess the complete opposite happened. I didn't mean to scare you guys or think something bad happened to me, but I took the day off today because I needed a breather from school, which has been a huge contributor to my small bursts of depression. Actually, this morning I was running a fever of 101.5, so I had to stay home. Then I had a doctor's appointment and the good ol' doc thinks that I have bronchitis. Whee. This means I can't take the ACT tomorrow and get it out of my life so I have to take the make-up test on my birthday, the 24th.

At least tomorrow I can sleep in and hang out with my parents since it's their day off. I spent all of today and this weekend sleeping, eating, and...more sleeping. -.-

Of course, he starts freaking out and yells "OH YEAH!" and says random stuff because he's excited. Like he always is. He rips the tape securing the box off with his key. The guy who delivers it is so intimidated by his screams that he leaves in a hurry after trying (and failing) to start a decent conversation.

Hemenway opens the box, and there's a bunch of bubble wrap inside. He totally ignores what the real package was. He tears it up and sets it on the floor, then just starts...jumping on it. Up and down. Screaming, "WHOOOOOO! WHOOOOO!" and trying to pop the bubble wrap. Of course, we're all laughing and watching. And I get a front row seat because he's doing it right next to me.

Out of nowhere, he turns to me and starts grinning. "Hey, c'mon Monica!" He grabs my arm and starts pulling me to start jumping with him. Everyone's laughing. I just pull back and start saying, "No! No, I don't want to", and he's trying really hard to get me up there. He finally gives up when I'm painfully embarrassed and continues to bounce up and down.

He settles down and picks up the bubble wrap. "Aw man, they only gave me one big one. That sucks." When he was jumping on it, it wasn't popping because there was a huge sheet of the tiny bubbles. So then he rips it in half and puts it on my desk. "Okay Monica, we're going to have a bubble popping contest. Ready? GO!"

Everyone's laughing again. He starts popping them like crazy. and I sit there, unsure of what to do. I start popping them cautiously. He's really trying to beat me and is popping a bunch at a time, so I twist mine in half and it makes a loud noise. The two of us are just sitting there (well, he's standing), popping bubble wrap and trying to see who can do the most.

Eventually he gives up and walks away, while I set down the bubble wrap on my desk. He turns serious and starts talking. Not a second later he yells at Beth for being distracted with the CD he gave her to look at. -.-; It was...weird.

Jabbo could hear him scream "WHOOOO" in the class over. XD And that was what happened. I was pretty mortified that he singled me out. I mean, damn. o.o

Oh well...by the way, do any of you guys recognize this video from Schoolhouse Rock? The best part of the song is at 2:01!!! It's amazing.

Lol. A Christmas Story...that's pretty intense. We were watching it in Spanish the day before break, and I just remembered it randomly. Well, it's almost Christmas Eve, which is making me super excited. I finally have presents out in the open! I know what one of them is, but the other, I'm clueless about. :shrug: Oh well.

I didn't tell you guys this, but because my house is too cramped for a tree (and since we can't stuff one downstairs), we've been putting the gifts on the mini-fridge in my parent's bedroom. So one day I was hanging out with my dad and I said, "Hey dad! Don't you love our Christmas fridge?" He laughed really hard, and a few days later I made up a little song. "O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree! How lovely are thy magnets~" XDDDD

Which reminds me (not really), I just watched Wall-E and Gremlins today since we rented some movies. Wall-E was amazingly cute and funny, and Gremlins was just...awful. But in a good way! I laughed because it was so ridiculous, I had watched it before but I totally forgot about it.

It's that time of the night where I laugh at the dumbest things, too. I was rereading an old fanfic I wrote on Quizilla, and this clip with Yusuke, my OC Sakura, Kuwabara, Kurama and his mother was just...classic.


"You just wait, Yusuke..." Kurama smiled triumphantly. "Once we get to your mother's house, who knows what things she might say to Sakura."

The color drained from Yusuke's face. "Oh shit."

"I'm drunk as a fuggin skunk," Atsuko murmured to me, wobbling over with a cigarette in hand. She tapped the end and the ashes fell onto the floor as Yusuke laid there on the floor helplessly, beaten already from his mother's outrage. He had stormed in yelling at her not to make a scene. But instead of calming down, she began wailing on him for not coming home in more than a week.

By the time Yusuke's concussion started to come down, Atsuko was already drunker than ever. She had ushered me over to sit on her lap (with no exceptions) and invited us all to eat some of the cake that she stole from next door. I sat there as she leafed through a few boxes surrounding the living room, and she purred while stroking my hair.

"Now Yusuke's suchacasanova, he doesn't even tell me when hehasanewgirlfriend! Why doncha let ol' Assuko know whoyouaregirly?"

"My name's Sakura, but um, I'm not Yusuke's girlfriend."

"He plays hard to get too!" She broke down into unnecessary laughter. "Wow, youguys sure do have alottain common!"

She was slurring so much between sentences; I could barely make out the words she was sounding out.

Atsuko gave a big hiccup and screamed with joy. "YESSS! I found it, Saaakuuuraaaa! Wow, you've got a pretty name, youknowthat? Saaakkkuuurrraaaaa. Isn't there a song like that or somethin?" She began to sing randomly. "Sakura Babura Manura Chachura Kakura Fufura Dudura Lalura! COME ON, GUYS, YOU KNOW THE WORDS!"

I stared at her and began to laugh. Kuwabara was already on the floor trying to breathe, and Kurama was saddened. He was upset that we were taking advantage of Atsuko when we knew she was under the influence. I sat up as Atsuko whistled.

"Finally, Igotit!" She began to thumb through the pages and cooed. "Awww...look, Sakura...this is your boyfriend when he wasfirst born! And thass me...mhm..."

I stared affectionately at the pictures and began to flip through them with Atsuko. With every picture, she told me a story about the event. I was amazed at how she could just tell me off the top of her head what was going on in that specific time.

When Yusuke was finally finished shaking off his concussion, it was around seven at night. As soon as he saw what we were all huddled around, he began to swear.

"MOM! NO! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

"Whatchyer mouth," Atsuko warned, holding up a graphic picture of Yusuke. "And I'm just showing some pitchas, relaxxx."

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" Yusuke snarled, grabbing the book. He snapped it shut and threw it across the room. "Mom! I put that away for a reason! You already scared the Girl Scouts last month when you took them in and started showing them this! Your friends are STILL trying to get you out of going to court for showing child pornography, harassment, and disturbing the peace!"

"Lighten up, I was just kidding." Atsuko downed the rest of her bottle and threw it to the floor. "You don't need to get so pissy, Yusuke. 'Sides, your girlfriend likes them." She held a picture up and wiggled it to his face, grinning. "'Specially this one."

"Oh...my...God..." Yusuke stared at it with his mouth open.

So, today I went to Fort Collins to the Super Target and the mall for Christmas shopping. It was pretty fun, but buying gifts for your family when they're right there is pretty intense. I got my mom and brother a gift, and one for Alex, Robyn, and Lisa. >3333 HOORAY! Oh yeah, and my "Secret Santa" person...

Well I went to this huge FYE store and they had porntastic stuff. I even saw a Kakashi cosplay flak-jacket and I arrived so hard my mom ran over and asked me what the matter was. xD It was pretty amazing. :heart: I would wear that thing damn near every day....*dreamy sigh* ANYWAY. My dad kept picking up random anime DVDs from a huge clearance bin and showing them to me when I was looking around.

Me: WTF dad.
Dad: *giggles, puts it down* *picks up another one with bikini-clad anime girls*
Me: What do you want me to say? I don't know what that is!

It was just miscellaneous, strange anime. Then when I was looking at the flak-jacket and having "too much fun" he came up and showed me one with a bunch of near-naked chicks on the cover.

Me: Why do you keep showing me hentai?!?!?

After the mall, we went to some Hawaiian restaurant my mom found about online. Good stuff, man. It reminded me of the islands, seriously...and we ordered poke for an appetizer and the lady was so surprised that we liked it and knew how to eat it, that she ran over and told the chef and he was just staring at our table from the kitchen doors. It was funny.

Then there was this super-hick family sitting right next to us and the daughter (who was like 12, 13) kept going, "I wanna go to Hawaii! The first thing I'll do is get a tan, then I'll learn to surf, but oh! Gotta watch out for those sharks, I bet there's sharks!" Really annoying and they just didn't know what they were doing. >.> I had mochi too, it was delicious. <3 Green tea, mango, strawberry chocolate, and dark chocolate. I shared with everyone, of course~

After the meal I was sitting there zoning out, playing with my hair like I usually do and staring off into the distance. Then I snapped back into focus because some old guy sitting diagonally from my table thought I was staring at him and started smiling at me. It was so embarrassing! I looked away and started laughing nervously...that was so weird. -_-

I still have to get a present for a few people, but I'm really running low on money. I had Leena's gift customized (I made us matching T-shirts!). :3 Well, thanks for readin', guys~!

Well, first off I wanted to rant about my iPod. The other day I was trying to plug it into the computer to charge before school and I left it in for a whole fucking hour. What happens when I come back? The damn thing is stuck on the "DO NOT DISCONNECT" screen and I'm reading the troubleshooting section of the website trying to reset it. It's really vague and I don't get it so I'm going to storm off to school when my mom resets it. ToT And it was all good until...

...I started using it. The damn thing says it's corrupted and that I have to restore it. Sometimes when I try to play songs it'll skip songs or I can actually feel like...gears shifting when I'm holding it because it's struggling to comprehend what I'm asking it to do (play a song)! DX Ugh, so frustrating. Now I've got to restore it, which is what I'm doing right now, but it returns it to its factory settings so everything is wiped clean...I have no idea how it got corrupted in the first place. It's an almost brand new iPod! >.<

I'm glad I got that off my chest. Right now it's really cold outside and I'd like to declare to the world that I hate winter. Yes, snow is pretty...from the INSIDE. I'm not particularly fond of the cold...never have been, never will.

Does anyone else feel like the sophomores have been getting dumber each day? It's like they find new ways to kill off brain cells and get on our nerves...and I swear, the ones in J-Club or the most obnoxious ones in the entire school! D:< That reminds me, today in Health we were talking about drugs and this chick was like:

Random bimbo hoar: "Yeah, one of my friends was huffing gasoline because he's stupid, and he started hallucinating that one of his friends was a rock and another was paper and they were playing rock, paper, scissors".

I laughed super hard, it was awesome, I just couldn't stop. Especially since that druggie Ryan kid was all, "That's EFFED UP!" What was really annoying me was that when we were talking about all this kinda stuff, it was all the drugged up fools who knew everythang. We're like, "Wutz a cabannis?" while they're yelling at us because we're "stupid". They were even talking about their drug trips right there in front of the teacher...I mean, jeez, if I was doing all these drugs, I'd try to be more discreet about it! *nervous laugh*

I still have no idea what to get for my Secret Santa person. I don't even know that chick...at all. So, yeah. Anyway, I know who got me and it's all Cary's fault. Lisa, Robyn and I are going to unwind him after school one day.

Speaking of memories, I was thinking about the time when I spent the night over at Leena's house and we went outside to walk her dog Lilly...*ahem*


One chilly evening, two young girls named Monica and Leena were taking a break from having an intense DDR battle. They had stepped outside and were walking Leena's Yorkie named Lilly in the front of Leena's house. It was already past eight or so, and no one seemed to be out. A streetlight flickered over the two of them from the sidewalk as they talked and giggled with each other.

Although they were perfectly safe since the door was only about six feet away, Monica couldn't help but feel nervous. She heard from Leena that there were a few shady characters living in her neighborhood. And while they watched Lilly sniff around a nearby tree, a shadowy figure shuffled down the paved road towards them.

"Look," Monica whispered, gesturing with a short nod. Leena glanced over and the two of them decided to ignore the stranger. However, the man continued on his way over to them, walking on the lawn over to where the girls were standing.

In a gruff voice, he asked only one thing: "Do you guys happen to have any cigarettes?"

"Um, no." Leena scoffed at this absurd question and was about to turn when the man lifted his arm in an almost drunken fashion and pointed shakily.

"Whoa! What the hell is that?!"

"Um...a dog...?"

"Oh." After a tense silence, the man stepped past them, took a sharp right, and continued his way down the street.

When he was almost out of sight, both girls covered their mouths and ran to the door. They ran inside and burst out laughing, tears starting to well up in their eyes from the strange moment. Monica looked out the window to make sure the man hadn't come back for more.

"What a LOSER!" Leena shouted through her laughter. "Wow, what kind of question was that?!"

Monica nodded vigorously. "I know, right? Man, I swear, when he was coming down I thought he was going to pull out a gun! Creepy!"

The two explained what happened to Leena's mom and afterward returned to Leena's room where they did more DDR, wrote more fan fiction, and snacked to their heart's content.

My free hour with Cary && Erin was fun though. 800 lb hermaphrodite. Oh yes. Lolz. And Cary gave me some pretty sweet Kakashi pics that I'll "use" this weekend. xD Literature, alright. Just read some poems and analyzed them. Lunch was fun, even though it was kinda quiet since Lisa and Robyn weren't there. Creative writing, I read my short story and critiqued other people's. Then in Art, I drew a little and listened to the random conversations at my table. :P

I had to ride the bus though since Lisa wasn't here. :/ So I ran halfway across the school trying to get a seat. Then I had to walk up this huge-ass hill to my crazy grandma's house. I chatted with my dad and then...he told me...I had a package.

Slowly walking over to the chair, I stared at the two bags in front of me. My dad muttered, "Oh, it's those plushies you ordered."

I couldn't believe it! I ordered those just like a couple days ago! I ripped open the plastic bag and glomped my Kakashi plushie with great intensity. I'm so happy! My very own Kakashi plushie with a PIN to go with it! *fan girl squee*

Cary's L plushie came, too! But I bought Jabbo's Rock Lee plushie from another seller so it'll come later in the month.

Plus, I found my TABLET PEN! It was in my colored pencil case all along! *nervous laugh* So here I am at my computer, typing and holding the Kakashi plushie lovingly in my lap. ;3

Anyway, right now I'm working on coloring the drawings for the YYH meme I found here on dA. It's pretty intense. I drew out all the sections then scanned it, and the coloring process is taking longer than I thought. So sad. I'm going to hold off on posting it because of all the coloring. *kicks computer* Plus, some of the drawings were blown up during the scanning process, so when I shrink them, they look stupid.

Hmmm...I have a new favorite song. :D Besides the "Check Yes Juliet" thingy. It's called "Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior. They're some kind of Danish band, I think. Here's a link to the video. Hooray for sexual innuendos! I've already danced to this song like ten times today. Literally.

It's pretty annoying, though. I'm just chilling, expecting to breeze by and get the year over with. But the teachers are making it hardcore these last few weeks, struggling to make us grasp everything they want us to. I dunno, maybe it's just me. Most have actually made a schedule counting down the number of days they have left to teach. :no:

Shouldn't they have done this before the last month or so of school? It was all good for the past couple of months, then when April and May came, teachers started to FLIP OUT. Whatever. They expect us to get all of this crap done when they're ganging up on us?

Random Teacher #1: So, we've all agreed. We'll make everything due on the same day so all of the IB kids will cry and drop out.

Yes, it hasn't been long since I've been there, but it really is such an amazing place to go. If you want an expensive vacation, go to Hawaii. If you want less money spent and one helluva good time, go to Guam my friend. :D Did I mention it's only about a four hour flight from there to Japan? Or vice versa?

Anyway, while I was there, I took some pretty mediocre shots of the stuff around my aunt's house. Here's a couple of 'em. They aren't intended to be "amazing", I was just having fun. :P So excuse any of you serious artists who may look at it and scoff. (Worship mah coconut trees~!)
