Okay. So life has had me so busy I'm not sure I'm coming or going these days.. I've had a few photo shoots and in fact have another on tomorrow.

Been so busy I have not been able to keep up with anything on here. And Have not put any new stuff up in a long time. So I'm going to try to put some new stuff up today.

I can not say enough about how much I'm loving my camera and the new lens I have bought. Best investment ever made. I loved the photo shoot I did a couple of weeks ago and already working on getting something else set up for another one. I can't wait. I love location shots like that. I can be so much more creative than I can in the studio. It inspires me I think. I can't believe the amount of people who marked my latest additions to their favorites. I'm just taken back and very thankful for that.
I have considered starting up a new site here to move my stuff to. Mostly because Moonfyr is not a nick name I go by any longer. I wish I could just change the name on my page. I wonder if there is a way to do that. Hum. Anyway to those who have added me to their friends list and faved my pictures. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

I'm very happy with my new camera. I have three lens now. I'm extremely happy with two of them. Love taking pictures and can't wait to take more. So much to explore so little time...

Uploaded some of the photography I just took this past week with the new lens and camera and I think I have gotten about the most favs and comments in one day I have ever gotten.. I guess time will tell. I'm very excited about it. Makes me feel good and more confident.

Well new year. New camera. New lights. New outlook on life. I plan on making something of my studio this year. I have a name for it now. Beautifully Chaotic Studios. I'm very happy with that. I have been working on my new logo and going to post it here today. Pretty happy with that so far as well.
Hope everyone is doing well. I have set some goals for myself this year and I hope to make them all.

Wow there are way to many cameras and I just don't know enough about them. I have been researching camera's for a couple of weeks now.. And I'm more confused now that I was when I first started looking. There are way to many. And Just to many things about them I don't understand yet. But I don't want to buy some rinky dink beginners camera either. I want something that's going to last me for a wail till I can afford to by another one. and I need to make some money before I can do that. I'm in the process of having a small studio in my house. A place of my own where I can take pictures and do my artwork. I can't wait.
In the mean time I have had a couple of people come over for photo shoots. They are pretty fun. And the people doing the modeling are finding out they are more work then they thoughts. Yes people Models do work.. Standing in front of a camera is not an easy job either. Looking pretty for a camera is not as easy as some like to think it is.. No not everyone an be a model.

I have other ask me what I charge to take pictures and do photo manipulations and touch ups.. OMG I have no clue what to charge yet either... I could say I'm in over my head but na... You have to start some place and this is where I'm starting. I'll learn as I go and I love to learn so it should be a fun wild ride.

So I have spent the entire week working on sculpting. Its been fun. Its been intresting and its shown me I can do things I didn't think I could.

I posted new pieces. Not all of them because well some of them just where for fun. That and my camera took crapy pics of a few.

But they are all one of a kind. Want to sell some of them. just not sure what price to put on them yet.. some of them have real Gems or stones in the eyes or one the sculpture.

So there have been a rash of people stealing art from Artist here on DA. They seem to be stealing it from here and posting it on other sites as their own.. So far I have not seen any of mine anyplace else. But I have others. And guess what. People who do that have sites here on DA. And DA will not take down their sites. Seems the rule is. If you steal it. Than re post it on DA they will do something about it.. But if you are a DA member and you Steal art and put it up on other site. They wont take away your member ship. What the hell.

What kind of message is that sending to those of use who pay to be members here on DA. I have been a member for a very long time. I have never made on cent off this place. Not one. And yet I pay them every month for my site. Why because it allows other to see my art. But if I'm not mistaken those people have to be a member first. So any idiot can sign up for a fee site. Steal our art and DA won't do a damn thing about it.. Doesn't matter that we pay DA for this service. Or that they make money off our art if and when it sells.

I think we as artist need to stand up and let DA know we are not down with this.. So if you read my entry. Please pass the word around. Stand up for the right to have your art on a site that you pay for. And stand up for DA taking down sites of people who are proved to be thieves.. Its bull and needs to be stopped!

So Its been way to long since I posted a new journal. Been super busy moving into the new house. Have not had a huge amount of time for my art.. I did mangage to do a painting for my new living room. just posted that even though I did it at the end of August. I have done one photomanip in the past couple of months. would like to do at least one other halloween one..

Can't believe its almost halloween. OMG I Love this time of year.

Well we found out Monday that we get to sign on our new house on Friday. I'm so fricken excited. We finally are going to have a new house. Yahoo.... I have never owned a house before. It has 4.5 acres. and lots of tree's. Next year we will be adding on to the place so I will have an art studio. I can't wait. I can't wait to have a place all my own to do my artwork and not have to us the rest of the house. Its a real pain in the ass to want to paint but you have to pick everything up each time you are done for the day. I want to be able to leave my paints out and work on some oils. I just can't here. Hell oils can take weeks and I can't leave all my stuff out here like that. But soon I'll be able too.
But till than I'll keep doing photo manips. I like them as well. But my hand has just been aching to have a brush in it.. I guess it will get to for the wall I have to paint. Silly person who lived in the house before us painted the living room pink. Who does that? But it will be blue when I'm done.. Can't wait. Can't wait..

Well I have been a member here at Deviant for sometime. I have seen a lot of contest but just never felt like my stuff was good enough to enter.

Well I did a new piece this week.

I decided to go ahead and enter it into the contest. Worst thing that happens is I don't win. But at least I get my feet wet and get my courage up to do so.. Good for me. Thats a good thing.

I need to get more art done. But I have been in a very museless place the past couple of weeks. I did get one piece done. And last week I was on my back all week. I had a spinal tap done and it left me in pain for a whole week. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I feel so stuck in sludge these days.. Need figuare out way. Need to find that place I used to be able to find in my mind that took me to fantasy places and made me more creative.

Well I have been working really hard on getting some art resized so I could offer it up for prints. I have a few up and ready to go. And working on getting more up.

I also took a week and got a cafepress site up and running. Wondering if I'll get in trouble for mentioning it here. I'm not sure. I guess if I do I'll not mention it again. lol

so now I have prints here and things there for sale as well. Its taken me a long time to get to here. I have really been to afraid to put my art work out there like that. Time will tell if it takes off and I sell much. But at least I know I took the time to push myself.

I'm also really proud of the piece I just did called Winter Enchantments. I would love to stick a pic of it in my journel but I'm not sure yet how people do that. I'm working on learn how though. soon as I have more time I'll look it up.

I'm also getting into sculpey and doing sculptures and such. I have a local store that wants to take some of my sculptures sight on seen. Goddess sculputers must be hard to find. I have also done a couple of dragons. One of which I think I have a picture of here someplace. probably in scraps. And the other I sculped over a Fox skull. Its pretty cool I need to take a picture of it after I finish painting it.

So I have a print shop now. I paid my money. Now if I could just for the fecking life of me figuare out how to use the damn thing. I don't know crap about aspect ratio and I'm guessing thats where my issue is.. I go in there fill out all the info for price etc. When I'm all done it tells me I didn't give enough info and I go back and none of the prices and stuff I added are even there. I can't seem to find anything in the help file that make since to me.. I'm going to pull my fecking hair out. I finally work up the damn nerve to get a print shop and can't use the damn thing.. F@#*

I'm just not sure how to get my art out there. There is so much art on the net its overwhelming. Oh well.

I'm also doing more with sculpy. I love the stuff and have lots of idea's. its a learn as you go things. I guess no matter what at least creating things makes me happy. and even if no one else wants it or likes it. I know I have accomplished something.
