I finally managed to create this account because I am badly bored right now. I have to stay at home, because I am sick for at least this week and the folowing. But next week I will have a surgery...so I will stay at home for at least 4 - 6 weeks.

I already miss work. Especially my iMac, because my screen at home is just 19" insteadt of 24". Retouching pictures isnt fun at all, anymore.

And because of my disease I cant hold photoshooting at the moment. This sucks, because it is summer and the best time to take creative pictures. But...It looks like I hit a creative lull, anyway.

I ve got a hordeolum sty on my eye...again

This really sucks. 8 weeks ago, I had this too. I hate it. My eye hurts badly, is red and I have to put such a disgusting yellow salve into my eye with which I cant see very well. Very bad as a photographer.

Does everybody has nice holidays? Have to go to work on Tuesday again, but anyway. I enjoy my 4 days of rest.

I ate chocolate, watched sailor moon (), took silly pictures with painted eggs, etc.

Work is really...intensive at the moment. We are doing lots of stills at the moment. Yesterday we did a interesting coffee image. Actually we really wanted to do a modern, clean, straight from above exposure, but in the end we did a really classic granny style coffee image with golden tableware and cake and such things. But we also did some stylish straight from above images too.

That is the reason why I tried myself on food photography, too, this weekend. I think it turned out not that bad, but I still have to learn a lot. It took me so long to adjust the cookies. ;D

I also had my very "first real" photoshooting with a friend of mine. We had a lot of fun in the snow. Mostly she had fun by throwing snow on me and the camera or jumping wildly through the garden.

I already loaded up some images from the shooting.

And a picture of the model and the photographer. Did I mentioned how much I love wideangle? Wish I had a nice 10mm - 22mm lens, but unfortunately I cant afford it. Someone out there who wants to get rid of its wideangle lens? Contact me.

Yesterday I got myself a organ donation card, finally. I wanted it for months but I did not know where to get one. But yesterday I went to a local pharmacy and asked if the got some and so I am officially organ donor, now.

I think this is such an important issues, but a lot of people do not even think about it. In 2007 and just in Germany for instance 12000 people waited for a organ, therefor about 8000 just for a kidney! And the number is rising continuous. I also have to mention that about 2000 kidneys have been transplanted, but the waiting list is still to long in my eyes. Sometimes people have to wait more then 8 years to get a kidney!

Also I think that when you die a sudden death it is good for your family to know that your death wasnt useless, because you gave life to maybe 4 or 5 people again. I know death is a tough issues for a lot of people (for me too) but you always have to see the positive sides in everything.

Tell me what do you think about this issues.

After celebrating my 3rd dA anniversary, I reached an other new mark. I have over 100 watchers now

and I decided to make a little journal feature for my 100. watcher as a little thank you.

So .. here we go =deviouslili

Most of her recent uploaded deviations are beautiful portraits of flowers, which especially catch your eye because of the nice contrasts and lively colors.

But she she is also really good in creating a dark and moody feeling in her pictures. Especially the "Castle on the Hill" series point this out.

And I decided to do a second feature today, too. Because today it is ~great-mess s birthday and why not do a little feature because of that

Her gallery is very versatile. Doing beautiful architectural picture but also doing lovely portraits. It is not easy to be good at both.

But what I really love about her gallery are the "from the ground up" images. They bring a totally new perspective about ordinary everyday life things.

For three years now I am a member of DeviantART.

I know my stats arent that representative, but honestly I dont care. I love to be artistic, see art and sharing art with different people. So dA is a great place for me. It is almost my second home.

I want to thank my watchers for all the support and love they gave to me. It means a lot to me.

update

FINALLY! I know it is kind of embarrassing, that my last entry was on February 25. But nothing interesting happened in this time. Okay well...interesting is a matter of mind.

I recently did some new resources which are available on ~paranoidstock for free use. Did some Brushsets (keys, birds, flowers) and PS actions (Splittoning, Sepia).

Finally I got an idea for a huge art project, but I am not sure at the moment which medium I am going to use. I would prefer photography (of course) but also Manipulation would be a n option and a big experience, because I like doing manipulations, although i am not very experienced in doing them. We'll see.

random information

I finally managed to broke my tripod. I went into nature to do some landscape - photography, but when I tried to pull the leg out of my tripod I suddenly hold it in my hand. Damn. I could do some images with it but it was pretty waggly. Well...know I have a "dipod" instead of a tripod

Great! Now I have to buy a new one. And I do not know which one. The only thing I know is, that it wont be a tripod for 20Â, because I am going to hold the legs in my hand a gain. I know it.

I also created a Flickr account for myself and my photos. Because I am not submit all images to deviantART. Here it is just a little assortment. But if you want to see more images by me feel free to visit me at flickr [link]
