What does that mean for my convention shooting? Nothing at all! I should be at Florida Supercon down in Miami and AFO here in Orlando later on in the year for certain. And I am definitely hoping to be once again at AWA in Atlanta come September!

I'm here also to post my current rates for everyone and announce my special for the month of May! I do travel outside of Orlando in which case compensation for gas may be needed depending on how far I travel (conventions excluded).

The fact is I've gotten burned on shooting heavy at conventions. I'm never as happy with my photos at a con as I am with a private shoot, and that has nothing to do with the model/cosplayer. It's about me.

Current rates for AWA are $10 per person per hour. If you and your friends have a group of 4 or more let me know so we can schedule something a little longer if need be.

While I always suggest having poses in mind for the character you're cosplaying we can brainstorm as we walk to a location or right where we are. Having poses or ideas of what kinds of photos you'd like helps make the most of your time but I love to collaborate and share ideas. Please stop me if I ever suggest an idea or pose that is something your character wouldn't do.

The shoots are at different locations on two different days (Delray Beach and Miami). The cost of the shoots are per person, per day. This includes shots done by either or both photographers at each location.

There won't be a theme to the shoots but you're definitely encouraged to plan out a group or theme with friends if you'd like.

I spent the beginning of the month doing some traveling and visiting some folks and having a splendid time. Met some cool new people and got to know some others a little better.

I am pleased to announce the birth of baby Mia Sophia Rosario! Born on March 22nd, at 3:07pm - 8lbs 6oz, 20 and half inches. It was an amazing day, and something I don't think I'll ever forget! After all was done and born, I was  asked by my brother and his amazing wife to be Mia's Godfather. Words can't express what I felt at that moment, nor how I feel right now thinking about it.

That night however what has been called the "Con Plague" finally caught up and got me. From Tuesday on I've been pretty sick and Wednesday was a nasty fever that finally let up sometime yesterday morning. You've seen the Christmas Shoot in Orlando and the Ft. de Soto shots from a few months before, now we're bringing the third shoot to South Florida. Slots are currently on a first come - first serve basis and very few are left!

The first half of the shoot will be Urban Themed - World Ends With You, Jet Grind Radio, Parappa the Rappa, and such. The second half which has no theme welcomes you to bring whichever costume you'd like!

April was filled with plenty of work from the convention :devsimplebeauty: and I worked at. Plenty of stress but we've pulled through at least with some new contacts, new friends, as well as some new doors opening. Things to learn, never use an ink-jet for a con (check), have a contract ready and signed before any work (check), bring more motrin (check).

I took so many pictures on my latest trip I guess maybe the beginning? But I've been working on them in a backwards order.

I recently took a trip with :devsimplebeauty: to Tampa for some much needed Vacation. The two of us including Momma Mora went sightseeing and passed through some gorgeous areas and some less interesting ones.

A cousin of mine took us through some great places in Sarasota and we discovered a not so secluded beach that still remains in my head as stunning and amazing.
