It was some senior guy (like 70+ she thinks) who has somehow dug our home phone number out of the universe
in the search for anything remotely related to computers.

She's been on the phone to him FOR THE PAST HOUR OR MORE - until our cordless phone's batteries died
nd he had to call again so she could pick up on another line and now shes back on the line
talking through the "internet" navigation and what buttons to press to get the @ symbol

Whats he trying to do?


Get a hotmail account (and use a web browser first - turns out he was on msn messenger instead of a browser app)

Its nice to have something like relationships and love celebrated
something without the dutiful attachment that all the religious holidays bring with celebrating their overlord or w/e.
Valentines day doesnt tell you who to love
it just suggests that love is something out there worth doing.

People say Valentines day has no meaning or reason behind it. Commercial holiday.
But in some ways i see the idea as more pure than like.. having a public holiday to celebrate the queen of englands birthday, for example.
Valentines day. No-one is expecting me to go gathering my patriotism-skirts and dancing through streets, or holding a cross to my heart and weeping tears of joy, etc.

Sometimes I just like things all the more for them having no driven purpose

Its carpeted so when I walk across to my bed its all soggy and grose.

Ive found a leak, which drips right into the open suitcase I use as a clothes drawer. So all i've been wearing is pyjamas without undergarments for the past 30hours+ (=_= );;

Dads girlfriend has two consumerist teenage kiddies who keep hogging the drier machine. Its truly bizarre how many clothes they have need washing daily.

no party on account of me having no friends in japan
I might wander out into tokyo by myself for the day, buy a crepe orsomething.

Apparently a few of my relatives pooled some money together and now its in my bank account, so I can buy a new camera.
So Ill be going into Akihabara to buy that soon, and you can all feel disgusted and mentally abused at a bajillion sudden new deviations of me pulling faces. Ill also upload all the stuff ive been doodling lately.

Im really feeling a bit sick at the moment, and I think its cuz of my diet.

Basically for breakfast i either eat a sardine-tin sized microwave-defrosted plastic container of rice in the morning, or a piece of white toast with butter on it, or a cupsize bowl of bran flake cereal.
Then at lunch I usually eat either rice (as above) or a piece of toast (as above), or a "5minute fried udon noodles" (which is a sachet of brown sauce and a packet of plain noodles) sometimes with a chopped leaf of cabbage thrown in, if theres some in the fridge not too mouldy, or I just go without eating.
Then at dinner, these days, its usually either a piece of toast (as above), or noodles (as above), or canned longlife bolognese. Sometimes rice fried with a packet of frozen friedrice mix.

Oh and
I never bothered going to get a TB shot. I think my hostmother lady is like.. sort of in on it. Because she like.. when i first told her i needed to go on tuesday to get it done, she was like "BAH I dont think you need it, its ok." And i decided id just go do it anyway, and told her so. But then she went out that day and couldnt take me. And ever since then she hasnt even MENTIONED any 3 of my japanese classes, or driven me there. Kinda weird because up until that point she was disturbingly excited and persistant about me going to classes.
But i figure id be showing some kind of symptoms this late into it. And im pretty sweet i reckon. Still... i wouldnt mind the shot. I think ive kinda missed the opportunity to get one courtesy of the school though.

You have to turn it off at the powerpoint. take the cord out of the powerpoint, wait a minute, and put it back in to be able to turn the computer back on at all.

I kind of figured out how to burn things, so im trying to get a fuckton of photos to disk before the crashing becomes way serious and we start losing data - which will apparently happen, sooner or later.

I already have a blogger thing.. but i dont use it anyway. Even though its all pretty.
Perhaps livejournal will be where i put all my japan photos for display, and do all my official "livin in japan" diary, now that for some lame reason I cant get access to my sisters shared blogspot one.

Im having a great hair day today. Like you wouldnt believe. So im super happy about that.

Sort of like doing commissions, but not, because youre not spending any money~

Of course you'd have to give me like.. a postal address. Which most people are rather antsy over.

But you know~ whatever. Might be fun; I like getting mail so I assume other people do too.

Oh, and the catch is that you have to scan the drawings and stuff, if I ask you to, so then I can actually put things up on my dA again.

The teachers only told me this morning.
They suggested shots, followed by blood tests.
i hate needlesssssssssss

My hostmother says not to bother/worry about it though really because "lots of asian people get this recently". So she doesnt think ill get it, or something..


I thought if I had it I would know by now.. I dont know what it is exactly.. just apparently that its like fatal and like... when you cough up blood.

well... im hacking up phlegm with veiny blood bits in it at the moment.
but not like.. heaps or anything - i assume its just a cold...
Its only like.. usual seeming.
Not like "WOW THERES BLOOD IN THERE" just like "mhmm. loverly~ i have a cold again"
Plus i have a runny, stuffy nose and sore throat. No cough or anything though.

and december WAS a while ago...
and the cold only popped up several days ago
and my sister came up with a cold just before she left [on the 15th]


I figure I should PROLLY go to the doctors to make sure

but i dont wanna go, see; because of the needles.
Injection i might not mind so much... blood being TAKEN is fucking horrid though

So what do you reckon?
Id already be vomiting blood by now?
Therefore, i dont have it??
