i've got 5 final exams in total (math english art-history physics art) and im done the hardest of the two english and math today! Even so i won't get my tablet until wednesday but that's ok i can wait 1.5 more day :iconteheplz:

since the hard exams are over i've been doing alot of idle thinking lately while i doodle on my art history and physics studysheets.

First of all im going to set myself a pageview goal. Yes yes before you all flame me about how pageview isn't important listen to me first you cans of tuna. Ima not going out of my way to fave other people's work and hopefully get them to reply "THANKS FOR THE FAVE" back because I don't have the time for that. I have time for other things...such as typing this journal.....:iconiseewhatyoudidthere: Instead, I am going to shoot for 20% more pageview than the previous month by sheer hard and good work. 20% isn't a lot but it adds up very fast since it's a geometric sequence (oh god math exam, which i aced of course :iconwabplz:). Allow me to demonstrate....

1000 x 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2.... 1000 x 1.2^(12) = 11,000~
1000, 1200, 1440, 1728, ....10 months later, 10699 pageview (that's per month!)

lol now that i look at it it looks like it's kinda impossible but you never know! Anyhoo hard work and good work that's my policy. This is how i see it - pageview is a good but not definate physical indication of how good your art is. I don't think my art is totally obscure that only attracts a small audience (goal career is game artist so have to appeal to public at first glance anyways). If i don't get to that 20% goal per month that's totally fine ill just work harder next month (yay go healthy thinking!)

Secondly, now i know how this situation is going to work out. Let's see...my tablet got taken away so there's definately no CG work until my exams are done. Oh noes!!! But wait! That's only til next wednesday! Oh gayyyy!!! D D

So instead of pouting over it since i can't draw anyways ima go try to look at this in an optmisist way. Do work (?) this week, check dA once or twice a day to keep up with the notes and replies, and treat this little pause as a break or haiutus (is that how you spell it?). Ill be back before you guys all know it and I am going to be a threat to your asses in Effin once again!

Well what can I say these past few weeks with efn and stuff was a blast and i feel like i should move on to the next stage. I won't tell you what my next arc is but don't worry i are still entering :iconescapefromnevara:.

So you may ask why the **** is this guy so emo all the time and how come we can never cheer him up by saying "omg your art is so pro and epic and sh*t" well I finally resolved that problem by being emo in my bed for 4 hours.

Some of you may know that I am rarely ever satisfied with my art because I am fully aware (im not that stupid) of the difference between stuff I do and stuff that professionals do. Yep that's how I set my standards. So next time I am complaining about how crappy my stuff is don't go "shut up mori go jump off a bridget or something you emo adolf hitler

After receiving some honest opinions from a few of my dA buddies i can clearly see the road of improvement i have to take. My art is bad. So bad that i have to improve. How's that? lol (can't touch this!)

Im also emo all the time because i got school and i am allergic to homework (no really i just want to spend time drawing) gahhhh i hate homework and i are going to spazz about it i4euawo328ur390ru239028049q380(&*#()&%)(*()* ok done. On a positive note, after i graduate from highschool this year i are finally free to do art! Hurray actually ==. Well finally my life is worth living.

Last note - if you have any feedback on any of my artwork (like what isn't as effective as it can be) please send me a note about it. I know people are shy about saying bad things on the public board so that's understandable, but mori-chan gets very emo and stays in the :iconemocornerplz: if he is left in the dark without :iconbridgetplz:

anyways over the next few days or a week or so I won't be pumping out anything - time for research and studying art (if time allows).

God that felt good to get off my chest!

So I was feeling pretty good these few days then today I looked at my pageview (by chance) and it's only 2000 something so i went ZOMGS and know how much more I have to go before I can even start being confident again. In case if you are wondering :iconnightingale: made me feel that way with 40k views?

I'm not like saying you guys should view my stuff more - nonono im not even saying that in reverse-psychology way so you would view my stuff - ah crap i just screwed up myself u-*bites tongue*

bleh anyways god I feel so stuck all the time because I got school work to balance before I can do art. I didn't make this into my "To do list" for my birthday but I will actually shut myself in the living room and do all the homework so i have lots of time to do my artworks. In case you haven't noticed my gallery is quite stale and i barely have any new deviations. Gahhh :iconfailboatplz:

also while checking out :iconjupeboxgirl:'s journal she was talking about if she's good enough to do paid commision - i wonder the same but nahhh nobody will pay for my stuff...yet. *evil*

Anyways :iconfanartpoodleafro: gifted me a month of suscription so I am going to *moderately* abuse the hell out of it on my journal *evil again*


Progress on EfN (thing that I'm looking forward to every day xD)
Main chara poster done
Ref sheet done (must edit after I finish aud to add in some stuff i missed/completely forgot, like personality illustrations and pallete color

audition: done drawing all those rough lines for first page, planning second page (2 pages in total). Depending on my workload ill have the first page up nice and clean by the end of the week.

And oTL at all the pros in the competition i feel like there's slim to negative chance ill get in now.....oTL
