Seth ramsey is a fairly new bt well sed characer i created. Inspired by my love of photography yet grown to show the changes in lif we all go throgh bt cant control. In some of my stories I started him ot yong jst two years after college. He went for raphic arts and photography and nce he gradated and freelanced he fond himself working for a magazine. he left his college band behind and tried to fit into the world of bsiness arts with his long hair and nkept wradrobe. Later on in my stories with him I skipped a decade to his mid to late 30's. he qit his job at the magazine, ct his hair, and now six years later he's starting to regret it. Shortly after qitting he goes back to school again this time for clinary arts. He opened his own restrant diner p to years later. Bt jst before his 37th birthday everything starts t ohit him. The man co owning his restrant retires and he loses his bsiness. He hasnt dated in a year, he wanted to be married with kids by now. His old bmblebee camaro from twenty years ago is collecting dst in his randparents barn and so is his old gitars nder his bed. He's living alone playing monopoly with his three year old great dane tidbits and cooking
dinner for one after his new necessary dead end job as a famiy portrait photographer. He's rethinking his life and every bad decision he's ever made. It only gets worse when a hose he rents ot isnt beingp aid for and he rns into an old highschool friend who's married his ex and had the family hes alwys wnted. When he goes back to his old camaro and discovers a notebook fll of nfinsihed songs written by his highschool band he's left with a life trning decision. grow to be comfortable with who he's become and wit to see if life happens. OR he can get that car rnning open p his gitars and go make life happen. Frther on his life which is seperate from his biography, I featred him as a main character to a story I did "Save the world" which is a modern fantasy romance abot srviving,
mentally and physically. He's thirty five then forty in this story and is left with no y ot of srviving the end of the world with a nineteen year old girl who's in love with him

Ive custom designed family members tattoos before so Im not just jumping into this. Three, it isnt a huge number but those are three permanant tattoos!

Whether its animals, mythical creatures, or anything of the like im willing to give it a try.
Once your satisfied with te tattoo you'll send the paymnt out in money order (i dont like paypal cause it takes commission) and once I get the payment I'll send it right out to you!

Depeding on the size depends on the price. For the average sized tattoos it'll be anywhere from $20-$35 dollars. For major tattoos it'll cost extra, depends on the detail and size of te tattoo and generally how long it'll take to draw but once I hear the description of it i can give a very close estimate of its ending price.

So me and my mom were sitting in my room and we heard a huge explosion it was like literally a bomb going off and we seen lighting strike the tree right outside my window about eight feet awy (btw i got shocked slightly by my computer just alittle aching in the right side of my body nothing huge)
So me and my mom came downstairs and my sis and her husband who's living with us right now has an outside dog named Red. Well his running line cable thing is hooked to that tree(he's a 170 o so pound half pit half lab)...he was in his doghouse napping through te storm and the lightning strike swirled down the tree hit his line and struck him. he died instantly..we tried resussitation but it ws to late. It hit so hard it blew bark about 30 feet diameter from the tree and blew the corner of his dog house off.. he burried next to my horsie now and he's runnin free in heaven. Cheesy as it may sound. I hated seeing him lieing there limp, and it was even worse looking out watching my sster bawling over his body in the rain while john tried to resussitate him, then watching him carrying him in his arms limp was just awful. Heres a poem i wrote for him. we think he migh have had bone cancer and this was gods way of putting him to sleep

So i went in with more confidence then i expected. They stuck me with the needle, she missed the vein..She pulled it out stuck it right back in with no warning. Missed AGAIN.

So i freak out when i find out its not over, And it hurt! So i have to go through it again. i freak out so bad i start throwing up everywhere, a complete mess, shaking like a chihuahua, teeth chattering, complete and udder real..fear. It was awful. But instead of leaving like i could have i rested for about five minutes and a different nurse came in and did it. It was twelve hour fasting, just threw up, was nearly dehydrated so it took forever for my blood to fill the two viles.

I came home and went to sleep went a complete eighteen hours without eating it sucked.

But anyway otherwise, im getting my drivers permit next week aaaand Im doing pretty good

I was sick tonight with a bad stomach ache and couldnt go to sleep even though i was dead tired so i thought id go through some dA art. I always enjoy browsing. I was looking at these more obscure categories like ' pop art' ' psychedilic' 'surreal' 'abstract' And it dawned on me how lifeless my art is.
Ive been working for years now trying to create these images that define me as an artist And i feel like ive failed myself miserably. At first I thought DeviantArt was one big huge popularity contest and being apart of it felt like a bad highschool. There ARE people on dA who gain there popularity by socializing but ive seen amazing artists who are riding on the top here on dA and barely ever talk anything other then business.

To me its not about popularity, its not about the fact "HA i got more watchers then you" its that feeling as an artist that you KNOW people are viewing and enjoying your art and theres nothing more important. And nothing breaks my heart more as an artist knowing that these things I work so hard on go unseen. But at the same time Im thinking, Do i work hard? I sometimes dont feel i work nearly hard enough and my artwork lacks feeling and story and emotion.

I have so many stories inside my head why cant I seem to get it to come on paper and in colors in obscure but beautiful ways that strike someone as a literal 'this painting says a thousand words' I want to make artwork that people relate to that make people feel that mean something and tell a story. I dont care about technicality anymore. I feel i have enough skill to get me by in that department for now. I dont care about correct lighting and shading and anatomy and symmetry. I think the power behind the painting should come first.

Im starting counseling for the first time monday and im really nervous. Its ironic really, im going to counseling for social anxiety yet its the social anxiety that makes me nervous..

You ever do something really small and insignifcant but you still regretted it after you did and it felt like it was the stupidest biggest mistake of..that month..Well

you all know i did the gift art for that bassist..Okay well for awhile now ive always known he's reminded me of my uncle! and i miss my uncle terribly and i havent seen him in a year or so. And that dude REALLY reminds me of him

So im bawling over my uncle i talked to him for the first time in awhile today and i finally got to mourn over him leaving. And in all the crying and fogged head i went to the bassists myspace page and commented on his page saying something along the line of "ha..ive been thinking for like a month of you who you reminded me of, and it was my uncle..well bet you thought that was weird but its 1am ad i have no filter to what i do"

hes probably gonna think im a creep!

Identity seekers, who feel unique and different

Ive had a best friend ive rped with for the past two years and now i just need someone fresh with new characters and such to rp with.

I rp on MIRC which can also be reached through sorcery.net and an available to rp from 4pm to 1-3am eastern time. When it comes to genre i generally like just regular life with drama and romance involved. When i say romance! i am clean. I bleep out cuss words i dont rp further then a kiss i skip past sex scenes and when it comes to suggestive language etc. Im pretty clean, Pg to Pg-13 you might say. Please, be the same or respectful to that. I dont want to be uncomfortable or affended by sexually suggested themes, rps, phrases, or language. I am not a prude I can handle some, but to much is to much. I dont mind if you cussb ut with larger more offensive words id appreciate censory like F*** for instance. Thank you much.
I am a more advanced role player. I dont do one or two or three lined posts. My posts generally start anywhere from two to six paragraphs then as the rp goes on shrink no less then one paragraph unless its just a conversational part in the rp then they tend to shrink abit more. Id appreciate the same, grammar, puncuation, spelling isnt important to me just nice descriptive posts.


Most of my rps are set in the 80's and i usually play guys (because i like to make cute guys my little puppets *wink*) no i just have a tendancy to play guys better, i am a girl and i am straight, but i dont really like..girls..i do but its hard for me to get along with them.

Incase personalitys catch your interest. Johnny is a bad a** hes a womanizer but hes really cool a great friend very protective. Hes a pothead (drugs and alcohol are referenced in my rps but its the people! I am against pot and alcohol so i dont want anyone for or supporting drugs to rp with me. My characters support it. I DONT)
Daniels the papa of the group laid back and mellow
Shawn is a geek but hes cool, hes a rocker with orthadonic headgear, its possible!
Randys very quiet very sweet hes usually the favorite. he rarely talks but hes so huggable
Tory is the hyperactive goofy one
Bret and will are the two that you hate to love and love to hate.
Kristine is the only girl that hangs with the group (unless your charries is a girl which i prefer)
On another large rp i do is eric and tom. Two band members fan played off an 80's band, more information givin if your interested. usually the rp is set either on tour on the road or during tour breaks, recording etc. Its pretty interseting and always find it fun to play a musicion on the road
(Tom is goofy hes silly very lovable and affectionate. Quiet at times he doesnt have much of a temper but when he does its kinda cute actually. ERic he considers his brother, they arent brothers but they started the band together and are good friends. Eric is the colder one. hes soo sweet he loves to help hes very protective but hes blunt honest to a fault rough around th edges and sarcastic)

A third one i do is a character (his looks are based off a man but his personality bio etc is all created by me) is David Barras. Its always set in london although i have had him travel to america a few times (i prefer in london cause his bio and how he acts etc. involves london) Ive researched london and paris alot for this rp but if your from london and paris and i get several things wrong, please just go with it! (Davids very sweet he laughsa lot has a good sense of humor he has his flaws but he goes with them hes very laid back and just likes to have a goodt ime. Hes into the arts poetry painting photography but he also rides a harley goes to rock clubs and pubs, sings in a heavy metal band etc. Best of both worlds, and ontop of it has an adorable english accent)

My fourth character i use is the only girl i like to use and thats Jadira. SO i got out of the car and knelt down. and i barely caleld it and it ran up to me and jumped in my lap. AWWWW SO we took it inside and my grandmas gonna take it. But im sad because i already became attached to him. Hes like..attached to me at th ehip. He follows me every step and everytime i sit down hes in my lap. Im gonna miss him miserably. I got the reply today and it 'wasnt what they were looking for' but thats cool. I shouldnt have even thought i was gonna get it on my first ever job appy. How stupid was that but anyway it was fun entering.

I do find it fun designing things like that, cd covers, posters, t-shirts, logos etc. I think im gonna do a line for "the wild side" just or practice and a small 'ortfolio' to show people huh? sound good? *Forces smile* anyway short journal.

I was thinking of writing out, not necessarily a book..but like how you have tv series with episodes, but in 'chapter' form and putting it up here on my dA. It would be an old west involving three white men and an indian, inspired by chavez *huggles* the charries would be jake, keith and gus parton the "band of brothers" is what it would be called. And there "outlaws" in the wild west.

If you'd be interseted in reading it please tell meh! cause i dont wanna waist my time on it if noones gonna be interested cause its one of those thing si need motivation to do and having people wanting it would be motivation enough

you see when you draw a comic you have to draw photos that are reletively repetedly and you have to do it in a certain order no matter what your feeling that day. I cant do that i have to draw the idea thats in my head at hte moment

Its official Im starting an art business. Flyers and newspaper ads are going out in January. My business name is "Thunder Spirit Art and Commissions" or just "ThunderSpirit" I have a logo drawn up and prices are fixed. Im creating a website in January as well..and have a few people lined up (outside of dA) to buy prints. Its exciting..To earn money from doing something I love. Im also nervous. What if i fail? Contest Theme
The theme is Winter and/or Christmas, since the holiday season is approaching and where i am its about to start a'snowin i thought this would be a nice contest to hold, get everybody in the spirit! I would like traditional and digital arts to have a christmas theme but if you dont celebrate christmas just make it winter

So whats the rules here?

Pretty simple
-Contest entries MUST fit the theme or they will be rejected

-Contest entries must be under the categories "Digital art" "photomanipulation" "traditional art" or" photography"

-Photography and Photomanipulation must be LANDSCAPE ONLY.

-Digital and Traditional must have an animal in it or Humans if thats what floats your boat (fantasy creatures too!)

-Digital and Traditional must be made especially for this contest which means it has to be nnewwww

-Photography and photomanipulation can be old (since some might not get a wintery landscape by the deadline)

-Nothing gory, macabre and horror, sexual, or in any way just..wrong its christmas people!
