lol. So, my computer died for about a month or so. And for the whole time I kept deluding myself that I could somehow fix it; despite the fact that my entire computer skills amount to knowing what RAM is an abbreviation of. I think I was just hoping the computer would fix itself, really. Eventually, I gave up on outwaiting it and took it in for repair, and it was duly fixed. It's great, except that the colours are weird now. I won't take it down twice in one month for repair, so I guess that, at least for now, I'll have to accept that red and green are a luxury I don't need.
I've run out of things to say, so I'll stop typing now.
lol. No, just kidding. I've really been doing secret conspiratorial things. Taking over countries, advancing my shadow armies, et cetera. I'm now the Emperor of Kazakhstan and the greater Central-Asian steppes, the evidence for which is largely based on nobody checking it out.
World conquest aside, though, I'm quite busy at the moment, not though I haven't been producing art- just art that no one sees. I'll probably upload about 30 pictures in about 3 days and incur the wrath of everyone on my friends list. If you want to send me hate mail, please go ahead. If you want to ignore me, do that too. I'm flexible.
Well, what do we have here. A chain letter cleverly disguising itself as a journal game. In accordance with the unwritten laws of dA, I am honour-bound to follow the rules and complete this. Of course, I'll tag people and draw them into it too.

So, the Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their devpage comments and tell them to read yours....

1) I used to play war games with my teddy bears when I was 7 and then spend all night scared thinking they were going to join forces and get me while I slept (seriously).

2) The record number of times I've been stung by bees in one day was 3.

3) When I was 11 I thought Princess Zelda from Ocarina of Time was cute. Come on, you know she was!

4) The coolest guy ever in my opinion was Alexander the Great.

5) I started playing the piano when I was six. Or possibly four. It's hard to remember back that far.

6) I plan to take revenge on for daring to tag me.

*shivers violently* There's a real downside to living here as the weather turns hostile for autumn. If it weren't for my warm, comfortable blanket, I'd be doomed. Even when the sun's out, it's cold. On a lighter note, soon I hope to get my computer upgraded. Yay! More ram! My computer will process information at a decent speed for once! Then nothing will be able to stop me from buying more games. ......Er, yes.
Capitalism is really wonderful when you realise that only our economic system could turn a holiday designed to promote love into, respectively, a spending spree.
Well, it's time for yet another of my witty observations. To those of you who might have unfortunately stumbled upon this journal, I say: Flee! Flee now, before it's too late!

Okay. Now, a couple of weeks ago I was shopping for Christmas gifts, and I noticed something: several fashion shops (clothes, perfume, etc.)
were proudly informing me of their French connections. Apparantly, the word 'French' is synonymous with tasteful fashion. Well, this is all well and good, but it seemed to me that most of this stuff had a sadly narrowed vocabulary. To be specific, I frequently observed the word 'amour', and to a lesser extent, the verbs 'aimer' and 'adorer'. Forgive my stupidity, but what does the concept of love have to do with t-shirts? Or perfume, for that matter? If it were up to me, I'd have some more interesting expressions there. Nothing obscene, just amusing for those of us that can understand it.

If you've reached this part, it probably means you either ignored or misread the first few sentences, to which I say: like toxic substances, my journal had a warning.

This basically involves me spending stupid amounts of money on tourist stuff I'll miss you all!
Also, I've got my scanner back, which means I'll finally be able to submit some more pics, including the pic for 's birthday, which was about a month ago.
Well, that's it for now. I'll probably come back next week and write a long, rambling journal entry about the fascinating things I did, by the end of which you'll probably all want to hunt me down and have me severely hurt just so it'll lessen the chance of another journal entry being written. Heck, maybe you'll want to do that after this one Or maybe you'll ignore both of them. Am I just a talentless idiot that should be whacked with a blunt object for my freakish drawings? Seriously, I don't mind if people say I should stop drawing, I just don't want to waste everyone's time by submitting stuff that people don't like. The strangest would have to be: being told by an octopus how to get out of a haunted house. That makes no sense for various reasons which I'm not going to get into now. I just thought I'd share this with the rest of you. I'll bet you're all thinking now: "Why the hell am I watching this guy? I've gotta get out of this before he starts going REALLY nuts."
1) Reality TV shows. Okay, I'm willing to admit that Big Brother might have had potential at some point of time, but COME ON! It's the fifth fricken' season! Get over it!

2) Companies that have telemarketing. Not that I hate the telemarketers themselves. I mean, it must be really painful to have to get verbally abused nonstop on the phone all day as a job. This is against the thick-headed CEO's who force them to do it. If we wanted to buy stuff, we'd go out and buy it. How can they not understand this?

3) Just about all forms of advertising (who doesn't?) I like ads to tell me what they're selling, for how much and where they're selling it. That is practical. But no, advertisers have to try to be funny. Wake up to yourselves, it doesn't convince people to buy stuff!
