See My tablet is awesome...its cheap but it works somewhat

My tablet is a Hanvon Painter Master...yes that cheap.

You know what I hate? When something just won't work like you want it too, for example, when drawing on the tablet and use the pen as a pencil, you know, trying to start the drawing from scratch on PCS3. Then the pressure sensitivity on my tablet goes insane, the lines won't come light unless I PRESS the damn thing so hard I get dark lines instead of light!

I really want to get into digital drawing more so I can start the sketches on Photoshop more than on paper (Even though I can draw on paper better than on the tablet...but that's not the point!)

I've tried a lot of things...like deleting the preferences on the photoshop folder, updating the drivers, calibrate the tablet, clean the tablet, open the photoshop program with the tablet pen instead of mouse.

So...yea...I need help on this one.

I'm gonna get started on some RE Fan Art, and a good thing too, some of he's requests involve action! (You ever played Resident Evil 1 till the end and fought the last battle? that one)

I feel like drawing action poses now, so I'm gonna start practicing on those.

When you play Online (Be it Halo 3, Dead or Alive 4, WoW or even the upcoming SSBB) Are you competitive?

My Answer: Well I'm a little competitive when it comes to playing Halo 3 (Its fun beating somebody with a skull on Oddball, don't you think so? hehe) but I never forget to have fun!

There's another wallpaper I'm making, its Winx Club Themed...but it won't be done until I finish my assignment.

Maya isn't hard to use either...but I make mistakes that are so obvious to fix it...That i don't realize it till 5mins later.

Meanwhile I'm watching Family Guy to cheer myself up a little and also doing some voices to improve my voice acting.

Back then I used to see these great movies with great visual effects and Animation...it included a lot of Disney Movies like Toy Story, Lion King...these are just some movies I used to see.
But my interest in Animation began when I met a friend of mine on High School...she draws extremely well...so i asked her if she could teach me, to my surprise she said yes.
As the days went by, I did start drawing...but my drawings sucked back then...then again...everybody had to start somewhere...right?
You could say back then I was an emo when it came to my drawings looking like crap and by emo I mean depressed.
Sailor Moon was a big influence when I was drawing...since to me It's one of the best animes I've seen (Sorry naruto fans) and Dragon Ball Z.
These 2 got me more into Drawing...as I drew Sailor Moon to continue getting better.
One day however changed the way I looked at drawings, as mere pictures into a blank paper.
I looked on the internet to see if there was actually a power puff girl doujinshi when I used to watch the show back then (I still do...its a good show), when I came across Bleedman's PPG Doujinshi...I was amazed...the art was fantastic...the shadows and coloring blend in...and the style is just wonderful.
So i said to myself "If he can do that...I can do this as well!" so then came a time when I started Copy Drawing, some say starting that way kind of makes it better along the way.
Then when my drawings almost looked like the original, my friend told me that when it started almost looking like a mirror, it ment you could draw stuff on your own...
So I searched around tutorials around the internet...I found some really good ones...and practiced based on those tutorials.
I realized something as my drawings started looking a lot better.
Back then at high school, I was interested in drawing comics, So I used to draw Bleedman's style and a comic (That almost looked exactly like he's only picture the drawing drawn by an amateur aka me) that starred the ppg.
I looked at this again a few days and I was like...what the hell!?

When i finished High School, I started a dA account so people can see my work...however, I was absent for a year but I didn't stop drawing.

So about the comic thing...When I started going on my Animation School on the USA...I realized something...Everybody has their way of doing things, their own style.
So you could say my art started..."growing" as in adapting itself to a style I can call my own.
In time, I got better at drawing...I still use the tutorials every now and then so I can refresh and see what I can do better.
I'm always trying some new poses here and there...and always trying those difficult drawings so I can develop my skills as I go.

A big influence also was Pixar's Short Movies, the animation pretty much speaks the entire story, which taught me that sometimes the animation itself...tells the story.

Futurama was also a BIG influence...Since I'm a huge fan of the show and very glad they brought it back, the simpsons wasn't much of an influence...but still funny nonetheless

Another influence was the web comic Exterminatus Now and Flash Animation College University and Clock Suckers.

Right now I'm seeing the Comic i used to do back in high school and comparing it to my actual drawings...Its kind of amazing how someones artwork can change in time into a style that is recognized easily by everybody.

I also have some personal advice to every artist. musician, animator, whatever it is you do, out there in the world: Don't ever give up.

I plan to redo the comic I did in High School with my own style and story (That DOESNT rip off Bleedman's PPGD...man what was I thinking back then)
Chapter 1 is already reviewed...so I will plan to draw it and submit it shortly.

I also plan to submit into the scraps category the original comic I did (Its unfinished however...and in spanish...also it has a lot of panels) back then.

Thanks to the Art School I'm going right now on Saturdays, I learned a lot about Art in general, also how to do comics a lot more better.

Well...the point of all this, is that every artist starts somewhere...always starts slow...then gets better...and better...till it reaches the point where he's or her's style is defined and recognizable by the world.

Now I ask all of you...What's your Inspiration? What got you into the drawing world or whatever it is that you do?

As for the PPG Comic, I'm thinking about the first chapter and how the story will go from there since It will be different from the other doujinshi's I've seen. One of the big major differences in it is that the girls (and the rowdyruffs) will be grown up and not in Townsville, the fate of Townsville and its inhabitants will be explained in the comic as well.
I'm pretty much just reviewing the first chapter so I don't screw up anything on the chapters after the first 1 (You know...like screwing up continuity and stuff, char development).
As soon as I re-design these chars [link] (at least 2 of em and adding a new one I just came up with) I might draw bell as a child and grown up just for kicks (Hope bleedman doesn't mind) before starting on the PPG Comic., since I'm still interested in how an innocent little girl with a split personality would grow up into.

Off topic, I kind of miss the Gorillaz...I wonder where they ended up? heard their working on a movie and right now hearing their new soundtracks (love the song Feel Good Inc.).

Theres a 2 week break coming up for me for the animation school I'm in...so I'll have more time to draw.

Since my art style has greatly changed from back then...I feel that I can do comics now, I'm just gonna finish the RRB of how they would change in time.
I'll probably draw Bleedman's Bell, since I'm curious to how a little girl with split personalities (Nice to her friends but when she snaps she will rip you apart.) will turn out after she grows up, her personalities will probably form into one? Will she become a cruel human being who appears sweet and nice on the outside? Or will she become as manipulative as to get what she wants through brute force or great cunning? or maybe she's just a troubled little girl? who knows? but it is quite Interesting...

I got some Original Characters also that I created that need a Re-Design from way back so it doesn't look like a rip off of some other character, I might submit those as well.

Also, My addiction towards World of Warcraft is fading, its for the best i guess that way I'll get to draw more, doesn't mean I wont play though.

Eggman has become more dangerous now, it has been 3 months after Sonic The Hedgehog and has devised a new plan with the return of Metal Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and possibly...a Metal Shadow.

The point of the story is Tails feels left out after all that has happened so he wants to be more useful than just inventing stuff (Sonic Riders was something but not that much)

I want it to have everything Comedy, Drama some drastic measures in between...who knows? even death.

I'm also thinking of a Winx Club Comic, I want to re-tell the whole story but a bit different, the key points are still there but some of the story is different instead of the original.
I'm including my original characters in both comics to make it more interesting.

Of what I've heard, the best way to make a good comic is to practice panelling right? or just making one for pure fun.
I'm gonna start practicing when i get the chance.

Which also means I gotta install my printer/scanner/copier...why do I still have that thing? I should have bought a better one, eh oh well, its something.

I haven't submitted anything since the last time I submitted (I think it's been a year or more, I lost count)

I haven't stopped drawing though, I've been drawing stuff but I haven't submitted it.

I've got some fan art and some original art here and they're, and it's been a long time since I haven't used photoshop CS (Eh, this version is ok i guess)

I haven't given up on doing a comic and submitting it though, I noticed they're aren't really any comics of Winx Club besides the official ones, who knows? Maybe I'll make a web comic of them applying original characters of my own.
Or I'll make an original comic never seen before? But I don't have a lot of my own char's for that yet.

I went to this year's comic con for the full 5 days (Now I know the meaning of pain), It was fun and painful, but it was worth it!

Well, I'm not as good as all the artists around here, but I think I'm good enough almost, I've got new drawings I'm ready to show to you, even if you don't know me or care about it.

I just noticed....How in the hell did I make that Fireball...? Oh right a tutorial I found
Since I haven't installed my scanner I'll probably show my drawings I took pictures with the webcam

Some are mostly Winx Club Fan Art Drawings, Some are Winx Related but Characters I created in the Winx Universe.

I couldnt find Snafu Comics anywhere in Comic Con (Unless i missed them, i wanted to buy a Bell T-Shirt and some other things from Snafu T_T)
I saw a new game from Marvel (Ultimate Marvel Alliance) and also the New Final Fantasy XII (Which was pretty cool), i pretty much saw a lot of things in the comic con, although the bad thing was that i couldnt visit for more days (Im going on vacation tomorrow)
I also saw the new game of the Justice League (Which...looks almost exactly like marvels new game, except with DC characters)
The Comic Con is a very very good experience and i recomend anyone to go there at least for 1 day cause its really cool and you met anime series and some other series thats not even official yet!
You can also buy some art books from famous artists (Internet and Non Internet alike...i think)
and you can some freebies over there, and you can buy stuff
I dont need to tell you a lot about it, cause since this is only once per year
Might as well check it out! Dont just sit around and let people tell you about it, the experience is when your INSIDE the Comic Con 2006 Building, ahhhhh yess...

I was surfing the net to see if any Doujinshis existed for the PPG (I was watching the cartoons), when i came upon the PPGD, well to not make it sound cheesy or dramatic, i was really overwhelmed, The style i saw, was simple...yet...complex...From there i started seeing drawings on the internet, and copying them on my sketch book, At first it was sloppy...but 6 months later i was actually doing pretty good...i even tried to do a manga of my own trying to draw bleedmans style (And naming the manga Powerpuffgirls Alternate Doujinshi with a story beginning from the start...when the girls where created) but as fate cursed me i dont have a scanner......-_____-
I got a little obsessed with drawing until then...1 year later, i have decided to become a japanese animator (And for fun, still trying to make the Alternate Doujinshi).
I recently got Photoshop 7.0 and...kinda learned how to do Coloring and Shading in less than 1 day actually (Im a fast learner when it comes to things that interest me) So...the only thing i have are pictures i find in black and white (Originally drawn by other artists) and Color and Shade them for Practice and to get better on the way.
