so I have to do this...

Rules:

OMG this is really hard as my wife has beaten all my weird habits out of me..

1. Used to jump the bottom step of every flight of stairs because i though it was bad luck
2. Always cry when i've been nice to or helped someone (probably why i don't do it very often)
3. Jiggle my leg when I'm worked up or excited (but get told off now)
4. Pick my nose in the car (never eat it!)
5. Didn't like to walk between two posts-- (these were all supertition my mother taught me -- wish she hadn't.)
6. Some others you really don't want to know.

and they don't want to be called the 'Rat Pack' because there are just too many connections with other bands-- So I need a name (if possible with Rat in the title) otherwise they're gonna have a mardy fit

. The best they could come up with last night was 'Rat Boat' which for some reason they found hilarious

Anyway I've started a community project. It is a short Film/ Animation project still in it's early stages.

We have several members already willing to help from various backgrounds and we are quickly building a database of individuals who want to be involved in certain areas of the project. We will be contacting those groups at later stages.

What follows is a quick outline of the story to queue you into the project aim.

Story Outline
Act 1

A man falls in love with a work of art of a girl (Could be a photo)
He visits her regularly to gaze at her.
At each visit she seems to become more real to him- until eventually he can hear her voice in his head.
He continues to visit and speak with her much to his wifes chagrin who eventually leaves him because he never spends any time with her and is always working.
One day whiles he is gazing talking to her eating a pizza he leaves his desk to make a cup of tea and returns to find her with a piece of pizza in her hand. She cant understand how she got it but says that she is starting to feel a real change in her and comments on how alive she feels.
She says that she is starting to feel the fear of being unwanted and erased. He tells her not to worry because he loves her.
She hears a noise behind her and turns a hand comes from behind the edge of the photo and peels her back into the frame to reveal the Deviant Man who drags her off screaming down the dark corridor left by the photo.
He stares in amazement at the spectacle and reaches out to touch the screen where she was only to find to his amazement that his hand enters the screen.
He pushes his hand further and is sucked into the deviant world.

Act 2 (development section)

This will involve a series of chase scenes, challenges, conflicts to the guy looking for his love through different galleries and art styles. Each member of the cast will have distinguishing features that make them easy to recognise in any animated form.
Animations could be from simple stickman to 3d animations each change will be linked by them leaving each website by a door or portal. Animation style and look could be down to an animator or animator/write partnership.

Sometimes there will be conflict with the Deviant or the website itself slowing down the guy in his search for his love. He may have to follow clues to reach her or any development is possible from here.

Act3
This should all lead to a final confrontation and resolution with either him bringing the girl successfully out of the Deviant world or reinstating her picture with security.
