The Beginning: Oh goody, Ubisoft wants in on Smash's revenue. Just what I like to see. I know it was made by the people who made Brawl, but if you ask me, I say they actually lost a few programming items along the way to Ubisoft HQ. It's not to say that it's a bad game, it just that it could've been a whole lot better.

The Plot: Splinter makes up a tournament for all the heroes to compete in, including himself. The prize for the tournament? A trophy and a pick from Splinter's treasure wall. Once the tournament is over however, The Foot Clan kidnaps a robot called the Fugitoid and Shredder plans to have him build a teleporter that can take him and his army anywhere on the planet. Knowing our heroes, they ain't gonna stand for that shit, so they go on with Karai as their only lead to track him down.

The Good: There's a lot going on with this game, in all honesty. First of all, if you're used to Smash, then you shouldn't have much of a problem with this game. It uses either the wiimote, wiimote + nunchuck, classic controller, or GameCube controller. This is supposed to be one of those "pick up and play" kind of games, and it shows. Like Smash, there's items you can pick up in the form of ninja skills, such as breathing fire, summon lightning barriers, and even throw bombs and such. Probably the coolest thing I've seen is being able to do a Wall Throw, where the throw attack involves knocking the opponent into a wall somehow before bouncing them away from it. In Tag Team, you can do a team throw if you push the button to swap when you grab someone, yet another neato feature.

While there isn't much characters to play as, each one holds their own style of play. Though from what I've played, I've found to like Don, Nightwatcher, and Casey best to use. Leo is a close second, but he's so easy to use it's laughable. (Not to mention he has the WORST phrase I've ever heard him say.)
It seems like the Foot Ninja is quite possibly the worst pick in the game, probably because of tradition. C'mon, they're the sandbags of the Ninja Turtles universe for Pete sake.
Utrominator (Next-gen Krang, thank you) is a close second, mainly because they made a majority of his attacks so dang slow to pull off.
Shredder is third-worst. I dunno why, he just is to me. While he does have some fast attacks, characters can easily come out of them with little effort, so he's practically useless for being the main villain of the entire series.

There's a couple different modes to play on. There's Arcade, versus, wi-fi, tournament, swap (who plays swap anyway?), mission, practice, and survival. Since I'm sure most of you know the obvious, I'll go over the ones that seem the most confusing.

Survival is basically you versus anyone who appears. You can pick anyone and fight whoever comes....that includes secret characters and alternate costumed characters. That can make for some interesting fights. Of course, the whole thing ends when you beat Cyber Shredder.

They said they'd make Wi-fi a much better experience for players. They somewhat did. There's still severe button lag, but at least it's decent enough for some casual play. (I have yet to try it with friends, so I can't really describe that)

Mission mode is just like Brawl's Event Matches. They give you a certain objective to do, and you do it. Some range from easy to hard, but nonetheless the majority objective remains the same: Kill your opponent. Sometimes, they ask you to kill them in a certain way (feed them to gators or throw them off the stage), which adds a little challenge.

The Bad: I've got a few nitpicks for this game, and I'm not too happy about them. (and no, this does not involve the inclusion of Rabbids.)

For being a Smash Bros clone, it sure does go out of its way to make itself known as such. The only differences between the two is that up+B attacks don't send the player into the air, you can only use two air attacks, no shield bubbles, no ducking, no backward or down throws (the backward throw repeats the front throw animation, just from a different angle and direction), and (my most hated function) being able to grab someone out of tech rolls.

The level of difficulty loves to jump from being easy to ridiculously hard. It's odd how this game works once you play it yourself.

There are some serious balancing issues, since it seems Leo is ridiculously fast and strong enough to top over pretty much anyone in the game. I know he's supposed to be the leader and such, but c'mon he ain't perfect either.

Then Mario Galaxy 2 is revealed at E3'09. I admit, I was excited just by the announcement on its own. But then...I started seeing something odd. Everyone was whining about it. Why? Because Galaxy hasn't been out that long? That's it's rehashing a game engine used a year ago?

Here's what I say:
Shut the hell up.

You're still getting an amazing looking game with a hellva lot of new features, including an actual ridable Yoshi that we haven't seen since Sunshine on the GC! Who wouldn't want some company while surfing the galaxy, eh?

You can also do the following:
- Slow down time
- Freeze oceans
- Fight a bunch of Shadow Marios at once
- Drill through an entire planet

And there's even more things we don't even know about!

Oh, forgot to mention this, the game's gonna be more challenging thanks to that patent they filled out. Now if you get stuck on a hard puzzle, you can look at a reference to figure it out if you want to. Thanks to that, we can actually have more challenging games without having to sacrifice people who want to play just because they can.

Why are some games doing away with split-screen multiplayer?

I just don't understand it! Just because your game can go online, doesn't mean you have to do away with what made most games good to begin with!

Lets take MotorStorm for instance. It's a racing game, but if you wanna play with friends, you have to go online to do it since there's no split-screen. It's a goddamn racing game and it doesn't offer split-screen multiplayer? What the FUCK!?
Have we come this far where console gamers can't play the game with their friends or family anymore?! Seriously! This is ridiculous!

Here's another one. Call of Duty: World at War says it has the option for split-screen, yet YOU CAN'T EVEN FUCKING DO THAT UNTIL YOU BEAT THE GAME. This is like saying you can't punch people in Halo until you beat the whole game. In other words, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!

Then, they try to make up stupid excuses such as "technical limitations prohibiting such a task" or "this game wasn't made for split-screen". Bullshit, I say! Almost (note how I say almost, as a point-and-click or a light gun game are such games where split-screen is unneeded) every game can be designed for split-screen use, especially a goddamn First-Person Shooter or even a racing game!

The Conduit is also guilty as hell for this. They took off split-screen just because "the graphics are too expensive". As Bill from Left 4 Dead would say: BULL-FREAKIN-HORSESHIT! Metroid Prime 2 has probably equal graphics, but even that game put in split-screen! And that's a fucking GAMECUBE game!

I believe I've said enough for now. Whether you agree or disagree is entirely up to you.

The Plot: The plot is served roughly ten years after the first Resident Evil, where the main character, Chris Redfield, is issued with a mission in Africa by the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) to locate and capture Ricardo Irving, a dealer who's attempting to sell Umbrella viruses across the black market after Umbrella fell to pieces (which was explained during RE4's intro). When he gets there, Chris is immediately greeted and partnered up with fellow BSAA officer Sheva Alomar, who serves as your teammate throughout the entire game. It doesn't take long for the two to find things odd about their surroundings as they witness a villager being forced to eat some kind of parasite, and are attacked by the same villager. This is where the story soon begins to heat up.

The Good: Capcom is known to bring action to the front plate, and Five is no different. The game can get real heated up when it can be, and things can get real out of control if you're not careful.

Of course, like all Resident Evil games, it has its share of good and bad weapons. I personally like the Jail Breaker myself, but the magnum is a definite must-have if you're looking for power even though barely any ammo shows up for it. That aside, the game is real fun with a friend by your side, as you go up against many swarms of "Majini" to survive through the game. Some come as tribes, and some even carry rifles to shoot you with.

The weapons are collected through an item slot, which is actually remeniscient of the older games in the past. On the 360, just push the Y button during play to bring it up. Push Y again to close it, putting you back in the action. Some weapons can also be issued with the d-pad, allowing you to pull out whichever four weapons you have at anytime with a single push of the d-pad. Just make sure you have them secured on the direction you want them to be!

I dunno why people are complaining about the controls. I think they're just fine myself, but then again I've only played the 360 version. For the 360, you move the left control stick to walk in any direction, while the right control stick makes you turn all around. You hold the A button while moving the control stick to run around, while using the right to direct yourself. Hit down on the left control stick and A to do a quick 360. To locate your partner, you press the right trigger at anytime so that you're able to check up on them easily. To aim whatever weapon you have, press and hold the left trigger and push the right to fire, while pushing X reloads your weapon. Depending on what weapon to use, it takes either no time or a lot of time to reload but you can upgrade them along with the reloading speed if you get enough cash. Finally, pushing the left button will get out the knife at anytime (push right trigger to slash) and the right button will bring up your map.

Whenever you start a new stage or after you and/or your partner dies, you'll gain access to the game's shop where you can buy new weapons or upgrade your current ones. You can also store unneeded equipment to free up some space in your limited inventory, or you can just sell it for some quick cash.

In all, it's a real fun experience as you go along in the game. You really cannot go solo in this game, you can't. It's impossible to Rambo the game without a partner by your side, as you'll need her assistance more than you'd think. You'll need her for boss battles, jumping to high and distant places, and even have her help you when you get in a tight spot.

The coolest part about this game is its ability to go online and team up to go through the adventure. The lag seems nonexistant as you go along, killing all who're in your way to complete this action-packed journey.

The Bad: Remember when I said the game is fun with a friend beside you? Yeah, I literally meant it. The partner AI seems incompetant at times and will more than likely rush on into enemies without hesitation. That and it seems to like unloading bullets onto distant enemies, more than likely not even hitting them anyway. That means if you run low on ammo, you know who to blame at least.

Speaking of ammo, sometimes ammo is barely existant for some weapons. Hey, you got a magnum? Sweet! You'll be lucky if you ever find any magnum bullets for it, anyway! And just like in Four, the rocket launcher disappears after one use, which wouldn't be a big deal...if you could hold more rockets like Four could. Here, you can only have one launcher at a time, which means you gotta save it for the big bosses (like a certain boss spider I know of). This can put a real strain on you for carrying other important weaponry that's essential.

The Plot: The story for this is surprisingly a little deeper than the previous entry, Secret Rings. In the world of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the king has somehow turned evil and now rules the land with an iron fist. As she is surrounded, Merlina, the grand-daughter of the original wizard Merlin, summons a warrior to aid in the fight against the evil king. And it just so happens that Sonic is this said warrior as he plummets into the world face-first thanks to Merlina's magic. It doesn't take him long to get the big picture as he scarfs down a chili dog and wipes out Arthur's small squad of knights in the blink of an eye. Before he tackles Arthur head-on however, Merlina grabs him as they soon disappear in a cloud of dust. Arthur soon meets up with the three remaining knights of the round table, Percival (Blaze), Gawain (Knuckles), and the mighty Lancelot (Shadow), and orders to track them down and slay them on sight.

The Good: The CG work for this game is amazing, especially during the intro. It's definitely Pixar quality work with these small movies. Though the majority of the game events are told through comic book-like scenes that go from frame-to-frame, as the drawings of each character squiggle about like in an episode of Ed, Edd, n Eddy (minus the movement). I always liked how they did these in Secret Rings, and these scenes are almost just like them.

The graphics for the game are very well done. Each world is chock full of rich textures and nicely modeled levels that bring the world full of life, especially the grassy areas of the game. Most of the scenes are a real breath-taker and are really nice-looking for a Wii game.

The controls take some time to get used to, but they're not so bad. You control Sonic by using the control stick on the nunchuck and swinging the wiimote will make a sword swing. Like in Secret Rings, Sonic is on a guided path that you have to follow, but sometimes there will be areas where you can actually take a different route to the finish. Along the way, you'll meet different purple knights, called the Knights of the Underworld) and these weird...bat-things that shoot fireballs, but hey, you got something to kill at least. When you swing in the air, Sonic will do a vertical spinning saw blade attack. This trick is essential to get by the many foes in the game, as some of these enemies can be pretty brutal if you let them. You can combo this with the homing attack (jump + A) to hit many foes in front of you in succession. Soul Surge (B) involves timing your swings to strike foes with a big hit. This trick uses up the gauge on the left-hand bottom of the screen, and works just like the soul gauge in Secret Rings. If you ever run out (which you will), you can replenish it by defeating enemies and trading with the townsfolk scattered across the map.

Boss battles consist mainly of sword duels between the knights and Arthur himself for the first part of the game. The controls are different here, as this time you'll need to defend (Z on the nunchuck) rather often. The first fight against Arthur isn't so bad, but things soon change fast once you engage Lancelot. You need to time your blocks and dodge when necessary.

The Bad: Unfortunately, there's many flaws within the game that could definitely need improvement. The combat system is very wonky, sometimes making you feel like you got hit in a cheap way. Sometimes, you'll be going so fast that you can barely see what's ahead of you a lot, eventually making you run into a trap or two.

The second Arthur battle can be tricky sometimes, as you need to time your attacks to his in order to not get hit. This can be a bit frustrating when it's hard to judge when he'll attack (his sword glows before he swings) as the lighting in the level matches that of the glow of his sword before his attack.

Every now and then on the stages, there will be some villagers you can talk to, but why WOULD you wanna talk to them? Oh, they give out "special" items that usually prove to be utterly useless. That for just a simple 20 rings you worked hard on to get and use to stay alive. Yeah, makes total sense. You even get penalized for hitting a villager with your sword. This happens frequently in the middle of a village fray, and you're the one that gets penalized. That's some straight-up bullshit.

Some of the missions are more frustrating than the game itself. There's a "Give 100 rings to random people" boring mission, there's a "Don't touch the floor, grinding only" mission, there's even a "Only use 20 sword swipes" mission. What? WHAT?! Seems those are meant for only the diehards of this game.

This will be an on-going journal entry that I'll be doing for quite a while. Sometimes, the game I review could be bad, and sometimes it'll be a good game. I'll be honest, I'm truly not gonna be biased against any name brand (like some big-name reviewers, they know who they are).

For this review....lets start off with something "big" that's recently come out.

Today's review: Madworld (Wii exclusive)

The Plot: Madworld revolves around a game show called "Death Watch", where players who take part in it literally have to kill and maim each other to advance. People and sponsors bet on the winner of the round with big big cash. You play as Jack, a rather buff guy with a chainsaw prosthetic right hand, who gets sponsored by someone named Agent XIII. Jack's motives for entering the game are kept a secret throughout the game until you get about halfway in, as he's not what you'd think he is at first glance.

The Good: If there's one thing Madworld does good at, it's doing over-the-top graphic violence. The basic goal in almost each stage is to get enough points to get a chance to challenge the big boss. To do that, you need to kill people in the most stylish way you can think of. Sure, a chainsaw to cut in half is good, but if you want real points you should do the following: Slam a tire over them, push a metal sign through their head, and them smack them into a spike bed a couple of times for awesome points. The kills in this game range from simple to the Simpson's Itchy & Scratchy ridiculousness, with almost everything around you being able to be used as a killing tool. The final level is my most favorite for its Las Vegas bumpers all over the stage.

The controls are really fluid for a third party game. I think this may mark the first time a 3rd party Wii developer actually got the controls down right. For this game, you gotta use the wiimote - nunchuck combo. You move around using the control stick on the nunchuck, double-tapping in any direction to dash that way. Shaking the nunchuck will make Jack do a backflip, making him invulnerable to all damage during the animation. You use the A button to do some punching, mashing it to make a fast and crazy combo. Shake the wiimote horizontally will make him do a backhanded swipe with his fist, and thrusting the wiimote up will make him do an uppercut. Hold the B button to get out the chainsaw, and your actions will be extremely different. Now shaking it horizontally will make a clean cut, tearing most opponents in half, and shaking it vertically will make a vertical swing. Just remember, the chainsaw has a meter that runs dry after so much use, so make sure to keep it charged and ready at all possible times.
Hold the A button when near an opponent will grab the poor sucker. Shake the nunchuck to do a headbutt if they try to make you let go. Shaking the wiimote vertically will do an over-the-shoulder toss, while shaking it horizontally will do an expected horizontal toss (which can take real good care of crowds).
There are also items you can pick up, like a spiked bat and even daggers for even bigger points. Just push up on the wiimote's d-pad to pick up most things, like a Jack Balloon (1-Up) or even some pain pills (health restoring item).
Did I mention even the environment can be a hazard? I didn't? Well, it can be.

The Bad: As I always say to myself, "No game is EVER perfect." Madworld is no exception to this rule, as some flaws are kind of obvious during later levels. As with most third person games, the camera can be a real pain if you can't see in front of you. They do give you the option to revert the camera in front of you, but a controllable camera sometimes just doesn't cut it when an angry swarm comes in to kick your ass.

Speaking of swarms, the enemies do get surprisingly harder as you go through the game, especially in Area 66. Those guys are just cruel.

Another thing I'd like to mention is the range of difficulties the bosses seem to have. Some go to really easy to almost God mode hard. Usually, you don't even see it coming. Most of the time, you just have to run up chainsaw first and slash away since simple punches don't do shit to them, but you eventually have to change strategies. The hardest boss, in my opinion, would have to be the Shaman since not only do you have to deal with the boss, but you gotta deal with his goons at the same time, putting you at a MAJOR disadvantage.

My oh so genius parents are making me drop out of Westwood.
Why?
Low passing grades, even though I was doing just fine.

So now I'm being forced to do job searches (once again) on full-time jobs I'm not even qualified to apply for. All to please mom and her oh so high expectations. I guess she doesn't want me to be an even bigger loser than she already made me.

And you know what that mean?
Yup, I gotta stop everything I'm doing (including art) until I find a job.

Even socializing with online friends is apparently illegal in my house with this.

Which means I'll be all by myself. Again. For what I think will be a good six months.

May as well just cancel everything and make this page rot now.

I'm sorry guys, I really am. I try and I try to come up with more art and less drama like that awesome stamp, but bullshit parent drama seems to just be swelling up in me right now, especially when they're making me drop out of a college I was doing so well in.

As of now, I'm creating CD backups of all the necessities, but it's becoming a pain when your computer decides to freeze on you during the CD burning process. Then someone decided not to remind me when I had to go to work last week, which in return got me banned off of here for....pretty much the rest of the year. And that just downright sucks. ><

In the meantime, I have been sketching a bit during my time off, so I think I'm getting better at this drawing gig. >.>

- I got a ticket today because parents told me to rush over to my Grandmother's house and check on my bro's car quickly. Last time I drive frustrated, I swear. Thankfully, I got the Good Cop and he only charged me for no seat belt (even though I was wearing one at the time) and that's like, what, a mere $25. No loss on me, really.

So I've been a bit hooked on Sonic Chronicles recently. MAN, did BioWare did a cool job with this. Making Sonic be a total bitch to Amy has never been more likable. xD
While it'll take some time to get used to the battle controls, they as well are pretty fluid. Though I hate when my opponents run away, VERY annoying. T.T

Oh well. Besides a few points, the game is actually a lotta fun and well-developed, but not just because it's made by BioWare. I even like Big in this game. He pounds the crap outta everyone, yet he's still dumb as hell! o_O

As of now, I've made it to Chapter 5 and it's the main culprit in taking up my time. More so than Wario Land has!

Originally it was a contest where people would draw MY OCs (Ya know, Saphira, Muigi, others I will mention later), but then I saw my mistake which almost made me trash the whole thing. But after seeing the effort the three contestants put into their works, I decided to keep it rolling. Next time, I think I'll be a bit more specific on what I mean for you guys to draw. Well, I finally have this new computer of mine hooked up and running, and damn is it fast! It makes my old laptop look like a snail with its fast connection! O_O

Hopefully I'll be able to get more stuff done now with this thing. ^^

Onto other manners, I'm holding a wee little contest. An art contest out of boredom, mind you. ;>.>
Lets see...contest theme will be...ah screw it, lets just go with a random OC drawing of anything. (EDIT: For those who don't know what OC means, OC is a shortened version of saying Original Character. Hopefully this'll clear up some confusion. )
What it involves (couples pic, a silly event, cute scene, whatever), I really don't care but I do have a few guidelines.

- NO SEXUAL SCENES [This mainly involves nudity. C'mon, people.]
- Nothing involving yaoi or stuff like that. Can't stand it before, can't stand it now.
[Anything else I feel I should add, I will in the future.]

1st - A free drawing and colored picture of one character of their choice
2nd - A free sprite request of a character of their choice

Since I haven't been active in the art department lately, I figured "Why not make a comic about people's email questions to you?" That's when it hit me. Make a comic about a question someone asks you! Bada-bing! It'll be called....eh, lets go with "Muigi's Viewer Mail". lol

Okay, so here's how it goes. Just email me a question to my address (which can be found in me profile) and see if I pick your question to do.

Though, I do have to lay a few ground rules:
- The questions can be about me, my characters, characters I get involved with, ya know the obvious stuff.
- No sexual questions, please. I can't stress this enough.
- Make your question in English. I don't wanna get emails in Japanese or L33T or something.
- Only one email will be answered per week. Once a week has passed, send me another if you like.

I dunno if I'll answer everyone's questions, but I'll see what I can do.

As for how my life is going, well, maybe I actually haven't gotten over my grandmother's death just yet (seeing as how one of my precious items was destroyed in my mental breakdown yesterday morning. ;;>.> ), but all is fine now.

Although my Group Dynamics class is starting to be a pain in the ass. I was forced to create a Yahoo account just to be in it, but I can't do jack if my classmates won't let me be in our online discussion group. TT
The StarFox 3D modeling is coming out just fine. I managed to get the shape of the wing and all I gotta do now is finish that up and the model will be ready for showcasing.

And also, thanks to an old friend of mine, (), I'm gonna be also uploading my own Smash Bros Brawl snapshots. I have a feeling you'll get a kick out of them. xP

First off, even though this has nothing to do with the version that dA is in, why is one of my comments different than what I originally said on my page? (Look down, I'm sure you'll find it with little problems) I certainly don't remember having a signature like that, thank you very much. (I am SO not a fan of Naruto, thanks.) Yet for some reason, it keeps changing back and forth to that and the original message. What the hell, dA?

Anyways, I'm sure you've noticed that dA got updated with it's new version 6 thing. Unfortunately, I can't surf dA on my Wii because it takes forever to load something now with all the ads everywhere. Now I can't see what's going on before my laptop boots up anymore. Curses! xD
That and the front page to me looks not that great from the previous one.

Oh well, least there's YouTube I can still surf.

Anyways, I think I've got some ideas I can cook up here and there. What they are, I have yet to know. But they'll come eventually. xD

Anyways, I've got plans on doing others in sprite form, maybe one more drawing to go through Photoshop for more practice with that kind of art. A drawing of an evil version of me perhaps? Maybe a silly antic from Saphira? Maybe even fanart of that girl I like? I seriously dunno what to do! >.<

Next time though, I'm using the freakin' line tool to outline and use the brush for shading. xD

Ok, apparently I can somewhat draw by some miracle. I practiced a little and then bam, I could finally draw something other than stick figures again. Woo!

Today wasn't all that bad. We went back to Nintendo World during the parade of uh....something. Eh whatever. We went to the Brawl station and unlocked Snake and Lucario for everyone to enjoy.
I also bought a Mario and Toon Link plushie. Why? Well, I need something to make my room seem more welcoming than black Spider-Man spying on me playing my Wii. Plus, the little Toon Link looked so cute, with his little sword and his little shield on his back...I just had to get him. XD

Anyways, also managed to pick up The World Ends With You. Haven't had much of a chance to play it yet, but I'll say how it is whenever I get a chance to.

In all, this New York trip wasn't all that bad. Though I gotta say, they need to keep beggers off the street. People kept giving us CDs of I guess music, and we were sort of forced to fork over cash. Pfft, music is probably terrible anyway.

Ok, I guess I'll make a new journal when I get back at my house at West Virginia. The place where I seriously belong. ;>.>

Anyways, we just got back from seeing Kung Fu Panda at the AMC theater. All I can say is this:

GO SEE THIS FUCKING MOVIE

Seriously, it is that awesome. So worth the $20 we paid to go see it. People were actually clapping after the dumpling action scene. So was I for that matter. Lots of hilarious moments and action to pack a kung fu kick into....yeah I made a lame movie pun, big whoop, wanna fight about it?

One more thing, we actually got Brawl working on this crappy TV. We were mostly playing that all day today. Shit, we could've done that at home. xD

Tomorrow, we're gonna do more than what we did today. Go on tours, go shopping for stuff, maybe drop off my anime friend at the gay community.
I kid, I kid.....maybe.

We are currently staying at the Paramount Hotel that is apparently located right in the middle of everything we're planning on doing. Though I gotta admit, this hotel kinda sucks. There's no place to hook up Smash Bros, or even a mini fridge to put our drinks inside of. On the upside, it's got a fancy bathroom......that's about it. =\

Before we checked out for tonight, we took a visit to Nintendo World of New York. They had Wii Fit up for demoing, one Brawl station, a demo of the Iron Man game (Blech..), and a Pokemon Center downstairs where they had a ton of DS stations set up. And of course, more Wii Fit stations as well. They also had a little museum to show a bit of their past. I had no idea they had the very same Game Boy that survived the Gulf War (and it still worked!). xD
They also had ROB (the REAL ROB), the NES Pistol, a DS signed by Miyamoto himself, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
They even had the awesome shirts that I see all the time at other stores. Tomorrow, I do plan on getting at least one thing from that place.

During our walk there, we ran ourselves into Times Square. Really crowded, I must say, but it was otherwise really interesting to see it in person.

Anyways, in other news Kung Fu Panda came out today in theaters and we're gonna see if we can go watch that movie sometime. Dunno when, but hey whatever.

Welp, my dad has obtained a rather new pissed off mood and decided to ban me from everything for kicks. I'm a bit pissed off myself for him not giving a reason why he did what he did. *sigh* Oh well, I guess I'll just do whatever he says until either:

A. He calms down for once
or
B. I lose my sanity

Either way, his little meltdown is causing a lot of feuding and it's kind of frustrating knowing there's nothing I can do about it. -_-

But I just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents about it.

Ok, apparently this Orphan Works Act goes like this. If the person who created the art (with no tags or anything on it) cannot be located, than that art is "orphaned" to the person who finds it. Art theft is still illegal but if the original artist can't be found, there's not much you can do about seeing the art elsewhere, like on birthday cards and crap.

I personally wouldn't worry about it too much, as there's a little thing called "The First Amendment" that the government keeps failing to try and change.

But tht shouldn't stop people from putting some kind of tag saying that it belongs to you alone and not anyone else. Actually, that should be something I do. >.>

In other news:
Welp, my dad had his first experience being arrested today, mainly because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt, his license was expired, and his license plate tags were dead. We managed to pay the bail to let him out ($380) and hopefully, all is now well.

NOTE: I'm the one in the black hoodie with the words "Cereal Killer" written on the front.

ORIGINAL VID IDEA:
We originally wanted the guy to go have a job as a porn star, but then he read the fine print which revealed that he had a chance of getting AIDS (which was supposed to be in big bold letters when we would later edit the video in Adobe Premiere) so he backed off. Then, he saw a door leading to a business job, but he was soon kicked out by the bodyguard (played by me) for not having a good education. So he went to our college, ITT Tech (dur), and got a better education, and showing it with a big grin and a thumbs up (which you see at the end of the actual commercial). When he returned, the guy would look back at the porn star door, lean toward it as if temptation was getting to him, but soon entered the business door to have a better job and possibly have a better life with it.

^ That was our original idea, but we later found out the filming took more than thirty seconds, so we had to cut the majority of that out and we got stuck with this cheesy commercial. The music was placed in there as a joke by one of my other college friends, but we soon went with it seeing how cheesy the commercial was anyway.
