but I've had plenty of conflicting emotions lately...
it makes for some interesting pieces of work...
half of which never get finished because I only start them during class time ad never have the motivation to finish them. As a result, I fail to color a lot of things, also. But I have plenty of time to devote to art in my art class, so I'm pleased to say that I and my last year's art teacher are seeing a definite improvement in my ability.

in any case, my scanner broke (for good), so I won't be uploading anything new for quite a while, but that's ok, because it gives me plenty of time to color stuff in... and improve, while I'm at it

It is absolutely the most adorable movie ever and I love it to no end, which is very odd for me, seeing as I don't really like "cute" movies. I prefer horror and adventure.
Even better, I'm getting a tablet soon! If I have any amount of luck left, I'll order it by Sunday.
However, my chances are slim.
It's just not my week.
My hamster, Haji, has been acting very strangely. He won't stop biting at the bars of his cage, he doesn't even run on his wheel anymore. And every time my poor little fingers get near the bars, he bites them. I've been bitten 3 times this week already. My mom thinks he might have gotten rabies, so I'm not allowed to touch him anymore.
.....OH!
oh....oops. I thought it was Friday for a minute there, so I was going to go read some manga.
But noooooooo. I have to wait until tomorrow. Woohooo! Katekyo Hitman Reborn! I read all the chapters in 3 days.
I have a serious problem with manga. I get addicted very quickly. I know I haven't submitted anything in a while, but I had a serious loss of motivation until I read KHR. I've been prompted to do some fan art. I've discovered that sadly one of the coolest guys is also the hardest to draw. hurhurrr It's Yamamoto, in case you haven't tried. [...is it normal for the cursor not to blink? It's creeping me out.]Anyway, just for the heck of it and because I'm a lazy bum, I'll list my life very simply for everyone to see and no one to care!

Anyway, in other news!
I'm an absolute idiot.
I scanned a few things, colored some stuff, colored some things I forgot to scan, and I left my flash drive with my dad.
Now I need to wait for him to bring it to me tomorrow, if he feels like being nice, but I can't scan anything else until next weekend.

And I have the most insufferable bloody frickin cold in SPRING! Darn weather down here in Cali's been all over the place. We've had all the seasons to the extreme in one week. We're being pasteurized down here.

Even worse, my kittens are gone. I have no idea where their mother took them, and she's refusing to take me to them. And I finally got names for all of them too!
Kanda, Caspian, Cucumber, Cabbage, Cupcake and Cari.

At least I finally chose some glasses with my dad today. They'll arrive on the sixth of Juuuuuuuune. But he's also going to get me a second pair. *yummy*

And to top it all offfff, I still have 5 more weeks of school left. 2 of eight grade, then 3 weeks of summer school. Upside is, I get 5 credits, I get away from home, and I will HAVE to be put in geometry instead of Algebra 1C again if I pass. =3

After that, I will be free to do whatever, hopefully I might open to commissions...depends on whether or not people will actually want any. Aaaaaaaaaaaand I got my dad to promise me either a tablet, copic markers, or a Mariachi outfit. I'll probably get the markers though. However, my summer will probably be like all the others. Absolutely chalk full of pointless nothingness!!!

Last time I saw them they didn't even have their eyes open! They were so cuuuuute! But now, when I saw them today, they can see!!!! And they're crawling around too! I am sooooooo overjoyed! I've had lots of cats, but I used to have to bring all the litters inside the house and bottle feed them because their mothers would abandon them, but not this time. And better yet, they're PERFECTLY healthy! I've only had about 3 cats before that were great at handling their litters, so I was very surprised when I walked down to check on them and saw Fawks there on her own accord and feeding them!


Ok, I may have overdone it with the joy about hte kitties, but they're frickin adorable!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

But I shouldn't be so happy. I haven't done my math homework...oh crap. My history folder is due tomorrow, that's not even in order! grrrrr
Thank god my English teacher didn't give us any homework because of our CST's. EW! Those sucked. Well, only history, because I knew just about NOTHING. My seventh grade teacher spent like 3/4 of the whole year on the Middle East and we only spent like on week each on China, Europe and Japan. We learned nothings else about the rest of the world, so I pretty much guessed on everything I didn't know.

Because I've been so busy, my artistic life has been on hold. The only art I could get done was in reading class, when our teacher actually gave us coloring sheets and crayons. *gag*
My friends absolutely adore using crayons, but they disgust me (I used to eat them when i was little. Bad memories). And they think I'M weird for using markers and colored pencils "like a big kid."

But now testing is done, so I can go back to not worrying about studying and wasting my time drawing. ...or maybe not.
I may just spend the rest of my free time worrying about Sasuke. I have no idea what he sees in Smoothie, and it's confusing Saka beyond her capability to understand, so she just cries about it.
Oh, Sasuke, Smoothie and Saka are codenames my friends and I have for the guy I like, his annoying and bitchy girlfriend, and me. My 2 other friends in on it are Sophie and Kiriga. So yeah, I have a major crush, and a major obstacle. She's clingy as hell and possessive. *sigh* Yes, I am a little depressed right now, but hey, it's my fault, might as well not complain to you innocent people.
