So y'all better be not having fun without me coz I gotta mission for those who choose to accept it.

I know I haven't submitted Emma's story yet but I'll get around to it, (MUM), and I was wondering if based on the three stories (Hector, Lacey, Paris) I submitted so far anyone could give me a plot to work with? Suggestions?

Also, if anyone feels up to it, would anyone like to draw them? Or one of them? I'm having trouble visualizing lately and a new perspective might help (will also assist me in improving my descriptive skills).

In other other news- Drama play... D: We are so not prepared. Our play goes to air next Tuesday and no-one knows their lines, our teacher is a costume n00b and I suck at speaking goodly.

-Got good ending on Lux Pain. Totally worth it.

Ive realised I really like drawing and writing but I don't think i have the skill or persistence to make a living out of it. I've always thought I'm great at creating characters (if I say so mahself) but...

they fall flat.

Real art, the kind I like to read and watch and view, has heart. Even the shitty action packed things I like (i.e. Zombie Powder, Bebop, Firefly, even REPO) all have some underlying hope or message or characters you can relate to, characters that make you feel. You cry when they die, when they fail, when they're disappointed. I think a lot of people just watch or read things because they're "cool" or "popular". Same as anything. But I think when you really like something you feel changed, y'know like your life is reevaluated or something. Or the characters are like familiar, like old friends. You turn to them in times of need. A true artist can make anyone love any work not with peer pressure or advertising but with their own skills. That is what I strive for. To not even be funny or sad or even the next big thing- I just want to make people read my work and step back and look at their surroundings and go "Now I see."

To paraphrase Joss Whedon- I would rather have one person who really likes my work and has their life changed by it then 5000 people just saying 'good job' and forgetting about it. I don't want your empty praise. So if you have the time- please go through my gallery. Tell me what you hate and why. Tell me what you like- don't spare my feelings. Be honest. I can't improve within this sheltered life.

Deviantart is for artists. Until this point I was an imposter. From this day forth I will be an actual artist.

Seriously, when I was about twelve but crummy drawings before that.

I find females easier to think of hairstyles and outifts for but I like drawing guys more.

Long. There aren't many variations on short hair so it's hard to make it interesting or easy to distinguish between characters.

I always automatically draw it to the left so I don't know. I'll get back to you.

Front.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Different angles of the face and arms that are in proportion to the rest of the body.

People who look angry or overly happy. I like drawing expressive faces.

Traditional.

I draw the shape of the head and shoulders first.

I make the same faces as the ones I draw and I tend to think of situations to suit the drawing.

To make shading look realistic, decide where your light source is coming from. Mixed shadows make things look strange. Colouring- do it on the computer unless you have really good pencils/textas.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Depends how anal I get about detail. If i just shut up draw, maybe five minutes. If I worry and add backgrounds and details- closer to half an hour. Coloured- two days.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Music that I think suits the character or situation. I enjoy coming up with soundtracks for OCs.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
I only draw when I have an idea otherwise I just end up drawing Allen Walker, Phoenix Wright characters, zombies, emo Edwards or Hitler.

Pencil (sharpened) and a big eraser.

I'm not really a colour person. I like drawing in black and white but sometimes add red alla Frank Miller.

1- AVCon. Sweet Jebus. Fellow Phoenix Wright cosplayers (i was Apollo) were so kind to me and my aerodynamic fringe was not. We sucked at quiz night and I'll submit some photos soon but for those who are impatient just type AVCon 2009 into that handy search on dA. Pedobear FTW and Kareoke is fun when you whore over it.

2- Went to KI for the trillionth time. Hung out with Italian and Chinese exchange students and had some laughs with Shannon and Michelle (who I hardly ever talk to...) They're both really nice people and I'm glad I got the chance to properly hang out with them for once. Tours are boring and the tour guide thought I was German. >_> Lost in translation...

3- Went to the city with ppl who don't like me much. That sucked but put some things into perspective and I met a crazy fellow anime fan on the train. She was reading Bloody Kiss and was late for a party.

4- My lord and master, Millie (~xxOrihimexx) is over Haruhi and has moved onto Ouran Host Club. Still her being Tamaki and the king of all of us. Planning a group cosplay with me as either Mori or one of the twins... She found out Vic Mignona (or however you spell it) won't be at the Melbourne Supernova. We discovered we can't make packet brownies.

5- Got tagged. Again.
EIGHT THINGS YADA YADA. DO OR DIE.

6- New story idea because I haven't submitted something for ages.
Story is untitled and made up of character based one shots. Four main characters- Zombie boy with freckles who's kind of like a cross between Allen Walker (from D.Gray-man) and Hunny (from Ouran High) in personality, not looks. His older brother (well really twin brother, it gets complicated) who blocks out the world with music and seems to know more about what's going on than anyone else. Their boss who has three seperate lives she's trying to lead simultaneously (lol can't spell *Kristoph reference*)and some stupid girl who's really a parody of all the 'tough, sarcastic females'I've written so unrealistically over the years. (So a bitch who's whiny).

WELL THAT'S ALL. More real life stuff than usual but still crap.

In a bizarre turn of events, Phoebe can actually go to AVCon! \(^o^)/
(Is that cheering I can hear in the background???)
But- there is un catch! Because I thought I wouldn't be able to go, I haven't planned a cosplay... Now there are several options here.

#1- Don't go in cosplay. I can deal. I'm a big kid *sniff*.
#2- Wear an existing outfit. E.g. My Akatsuki robe (again) or my Kyon outfit (if I can find a tie..)
#3- Follow my mum's dreams and cosplay as Apollo Justice. She bought me red pants for this exact purpose. That and she thinks I need to own more pants. I would actually enjoy this because it would be fun to act incompetent.

#5-Cobble together something else to be another character e.g. With my red vest, new gloves and black pants I could be a brunette, feminine Akihiko but I feel like that wouldn't do him justice.

And a final conundrum- my "friends" have been on me to have a REPO night for a long time with shadow casting and snacks which usually I would arrange in a second. However- my exchange student (who is really nice and excellent at speaking English by the way ) dislikes horror movies. Srusly she didn't even like 'Shaun of the Dead'. My plan is to go ahead anyway and let her entertain herself for 90 minutes and then watch a movie of her choice (She can finally tell me what 'Chromaggia' translates to) but I dunno. Anyone want to offer a solution?

3. Our Italian exchange student arrives the first week of the holidays which is both nervewracking and exciting. Anyone who's read my previous journal entries will know our family is a little- well, out there. ( Especially our parents...)

4. Soren returns soon. ~Nymphaelle Hoorah! We have missed her and the unexpected class she brings to our group.

5. Because you don't actually care about my real life, it's time for what I'm famous for- rants about Video Games.

*ahem* Lux Pain. I personally blame ~ToonMasta and ~PandaSam (at least i think it was them) for discussing it. My sister and I thought "Hey look it's only $30. let's go crazy." So we did.
The game play is tedious (especially with my DS of stupid) and the localization makes me cry and laugh. It's so terrible in the best possible way. Confused gender pronouns, words misspelled, even just inappropriate pop culture references ("AND HER LITTLE DOG TOO." XD) But that all aside, I like the characters and I can't stop playing it. Call it pride, call it curiosity I want to see how it ends. BUT MAKO. She and Yui were trying to make it in a male cops' world. AND TAKANO. HE WAS- well I dunno what he was doing but he looked damn good doing it. Something is going on with Shinji and Yuzi too, I can just feel it.....

OH THAT ASIDE. I FORGOT. ONE MORE THING. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
6. I'm being blackmailed by =xninjacrayonx and ~indotastic. They said if I didn't get a Facebook by next week they will make one for me. This may not sound too bad but MY GOD. THE THINGS THEY WILL WRITE. THE THINNNNGGGSSS. That and I'm about to cave under the pressure. Damn you, Geoff! I felt like journaling. Since my last entry, quite a few things have happened. They just weren't that important at the time. I'm seventeen now ("Why can't you see it? Seventeen and you can't stop me! Seventeen and you can't boss me! You cannot control me father! Daddy's girl's a....." y'know where I'm going with this). I played the first Phoenix Wright game! It was awesome! I know who my Italian exchange student is! I talked to her! It was awesome! I read a newspaper about scene kids! I graffittied on it! It was awesome!

Anyho-
I had this whole rant planned for my comeback journal about how much I hate being classified and how adults don't understand teenage stereotypes at all (psst, Ellen- "Ease up, Turbo!" Best slang ever.)
But I'll condense it. *ahem*
Stereotypes suck and I condemn them no matter how old you are. Everyone is individual and people who act like jerks are jerks no matter how they dress.

Well, its getting close to the end of the holidays and although nothing spectacularly awesome has happened I thought I should check in because as promised (or is that predicted) I have submitted nothing. Whoops.

Well, um... let's see.
1. I went on my crazy mini-vacation to Goolwa. That was pretty good. We just sat around and watched children's shows and read Reader's Digest. Why? Because it was there. Good times. Also, I never realised how much subtext there is in 'Timewarp Trio'. Thanks a bunch, guys.

2. Saw 'Monsters vs. Aliens' which didn't suck as bad as I thought it would. Mostly thanks to B.O.B. and Hugh Laurie's character who i think was just called Dr. Cockroach but I wasn't really paying attention. I was usually laughing at something too hard to follow the plot. I also ate a marshmallow sandwich. Crazy. And its official. =xninjacrayonx and i have converted a friend of ours to the fellowship of Phoenix Wright devotees. Popular things aren't always evil. Sometime they bring people together. Aw...

3. On that note, I bought Apollo Justice. I spent more on it than I spent on any of my Phoenix Wright games which annoyed me a bit. However, so far its pretty good. The stories are a little more interesting but the characters are no patch on the old ones. GO HOBO PHOENIX I LOVE YOU. Ironically, Ema Skye is probably my favourite character, being your main police contact and all. But she's no Gumshoe. On that note- If anyone brings up Robbie Williams "Let Me Entertain You" I'll cry. Thanks Ellen and Owen you insensitive jerks.

4. Made ~Nymphaelle and ~o0PixiePower0o watch REPO! The Genetic Opera. They didn't seem overly impressed but me and Georgia had fun. I guess its one of those movies you need no standards to enjoy.

5. Things I should be doing ATM:
- Homework (Psychology: Answer Questions about the Kitty Genovese Effect; Ancient Studies: Write a speech about Spartacus, Find something to do my individual project on; Italian: Research a region in Italy and write two travel articles about it- one in Italian, one in English; Something else I can't remember...Oh right. -Probably have 1001 requests I've forgotten. Oh well. No rest for the wicked.

Secondly- My friend, Lucy (who also know goes by the title "MY LORD AND MASTER") approached me at school today all nochalantly.

I kinda hate myself for loving yet another main stream thing but... who knew a game where you act as a lawyer could be so cool? (And philosophical. That made me laugh and freak out a bit how they're all deep and like "Being a lawyer means respecting the truth". "I am not worthy of this title because I have betrayed my ideals". "What does it mean to be a prosecutor?". ....)

1. I always think I'm fat but I refuse to eat less delicious things and I hate exercise so screw it. That's just the way I roll.

3. I am seriously sick of bandwagon jumpers and vampire shows. 4. I like tragedy in stories and thought provoking-ness. I can't stand when it all ends up happy and unrealistic or it's dumbed down. e.g. DeathNote before it was cool, V For Vendetta, The Prestige, Joss Whedon shows (that guy is so mean to his characters). Apart from that I don't like any certain genre. Except...

5. I've recently discovered I like space westerns a lot. Space westerns? I hear you ask. Yeah I only recently figured it out too. Firefly and Cowboy Bebop FTW.

6. I talk too much and I need to tone down my outrage. My own mother tells me this.

7. I have an unlimited imagination and keep all my characters in my head and consult them from time to time.

8. I'm not crazy though.

9. I suck at video games but I like ones I can finish such as Warioware inc. and Phoenix Wright. (well i haven't finished it yet).

10. I would like to cosplay as Akutabi Gamma one day despite being short, stubby and female.

11. I want to go on an exchange trip to italy at the end of this year.

12. I would like to be a struggling writer when I'm older.

13. I am extremely bad at being myself around new people. I'm a phoney. T_T

15. On pg. 273 of my Psychology text book is the awesome baby. It makes me laugh everytime.

I posted my first forum topic and the responses were pretty much "You're wrong. You're not obscure enough. You are a crappy nerd. Get out." Yes, my nerdism has been offended. I always prided myself (or more beat myself up) because no-one had read the manga I read. Now it's NOT obscure ENOUGH. That and no-one talks when you do puzzles. I feel alone.

Day 1-
So you see it all started when I woke up at 8’o clock and was all like Lalalalala oh it’s work experience today. Oh crap. So I said goodbye to my brother and mother and was walking to the trainstation quietly pissing myself. What if I get lost? What if I’m late? What if the scene kids from TAFE beat me up? What if they hate me? What if they like me and refuse to let me leave????!! So I got there after checking out the beautiful view on the train route (there’s this station where you can see the line where the sea meets the sky, so pretty) I went off and my shoes were killing me. Once I got to the actual library there was a book sale going on outside and some man evil witch woman stole the first volume of Cheeky Angel that I was going to buy. D: Anyway actual work experience stuff. Yes. I got there met my supervisor and got a badge and locker key. I felt so official. Then we did the grand tour and I tell ya this library is freakin’ huge. Not only is it connected to TAFE and all but it had a magical hidden 5th floor that could only be accessed by using your keycard. I felt like someone in a spy movie. Crazy. The actual stuff I did that day wasn’t magical fun. I sorted out time sheets and filed them (Ms. Allen has done much work whilst Ms. McGrath has done little. YOU FAIL, MCGRATH!) and got to reshelve DVDs. That made me sad coz everyone was borrowing DVDs and CDs not books. Books are becoming obsolete and it maketh me sad. Points of interest coz this journal is already too long are my supervisor was very funny. She was all like “I HATE THOSE GUYS! WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAPPY IDIOTS! OH AND MY SON’S 16TH BIRTHDAY SUCKED! I HATE SIXTEEN YEAR OLDS no offence work experience girl BLARGHHH!”
Oh and I had lunch with my sort-of friend, Sevedha. I found out she’s moving schools and it made me sad.

Day 2-
Debitted videos a.k.a deleted them from the system. Sharpie fumes make my head hurt. Haha debitted looks like Debitto. Whoops, anyway today was fairly boring but the people in the office were funny. They had this blooper of the week thing of the board with stuff like “John- “Is Marilyn Manson the serial killer or the actress?” and they randomly made popcorn in the afternoon just to piss off the people having a meeting in the next room. And there was this guy who was on holiday and they sat there bitching about him all afternoon. V.V. funny.

Day 3-
Oh my god storytime. Small children (circa 3-4 years old) and I had to sing and be puppets. I named my donkey “Donkey” and all the parents laughed at my lack of originality and then the lady helping said it was a horse. What’s the difference? Also great children’s book= The Wide Mouthed Frog. Go read it. Also I got to be on desk and reshelved books. Too many Mills and Boon books in the world. TOO MANY. Oh and James Patterson has written waaaay too many books in different genres. Once again- TOO MANY. I had a heart to heart with this girl borrowing pretty much the whole stock of Fruba novels and then this girl walked in ad demanded tickets to the Twilight movie. They were selling them at the library. T_T I got all defensive and was all like “we don’t serve your kind here!” so the desk guy reassigned me to the CD recovering center and was all like “whatever makes them read”. Hahaha no-one will ever find those Andre Rieu albums they wanted. And Funhouse by Pink and Circus by Britney= very similar. TOO MANY!!! Oh and yoghurt and coke= not good together.

Day 4-
Worked in a new office today and it was kinda like being back at school. There were three women in this office and they were plaiting each other’s hair and listening to the radio and at one point there like “Oh right the work experience girl…shouldn’t we be working??!” and we had a talk about how much science was satan. Then they gave this bunch of old children’s books to the guy who was rewiring their office and he said “Er…do you want me to pay for these?”
Curly Haired Lady: “Nah, it’s fine.”
Wire Guy: “Are you sure?”
Boss Lady: “We demand Fruchocs!”
Curly Haired Lady: “Fruchocs!”
Wire Guy: “Er..okay…”
Boss Lady: “Dark chocolate!”
Curly Haired Lady: “No milk solids!”
And the crazy thing is that after lunch he bought them.
Also I had to staple pamphlets and I got bored so I started making them crooked and stuff and the staples were being evil.

Day 5-
Last day! I had to help with Baby Time and one of the kids ate all our prop bells and another tried to rip out my earrings. Ouch. One of the mothers I felt really sorry for because she was only a little older than me and none of the others were talking to her. They all had this big discussion about sleeping techniques and I goteth them coffee. Then I cleaned interlibrary tags and died of citrus fumes. After lunch the new J.K. Finished exams today. However, whilst everyone else went out for celebratory coffee I had to go make up an appointment that I missed because of the absolutelyfreakingstupid teacher strike being called off.

I had to meet up wit mah work experience coordinator (starts Monday) but she wasn't there til two. I got there at 11. That was three hours of wandering around a shopping centre with only $20, looking like a dork in mah school uniform. Luckily, when I met the lady she was nice. But I still can't forgive her for making me wait three hours. That's three hours worth of fat i gained from eating too many minature xmas puddings while I walked around. But they were soooo good!

Also, I'm a little pissed because yesterday and today everyone went out and celebrated end of exams but i had sisterly and student duties to attend to. I don't mind so much except because I had to wait for my sister the bastards I call friends ran off without me and then stole my manga the next day! But the more young minds I infect wtih Claymore and Zombie Powder the better so its all good.

I'm keep contradicting myself.Weird.

As you know its that time of year again and as Christmas and its annoying, never-ending amount of carols and mall invading time draw near so do exams and work experience. This time I'm going to actually study.

There was supposed to be a teacher's strike on friday. Then there wasn't. Then there was. Then they weren't sure it on the 7:30 news on Thursday night. Finally at 7am on Friday morning the strkie was officially off and my diligent mother sent me to school. But no-one else showed up!

(okay so I got a lot of revision done and the bus trip was hilarious but that aside). They made me watch 'Step Up 2'. 'Nuff said. And everyone looked at me and my sister in a school uniforms like we were freaks. Also I was lonely all day and then found out in my 2nd to last lesson one of my friends was there. Thanks a lot, Alex.

Oh and I'm posting part of my English exam because I don't like it and have til Friday to change it.

More international news- There's a Austrian exchange student in my class now called Veronika ("Ich essen kleine kinder!") and I can still take Italian next year. (But I had to drop journalism for it! Damn yoooh Italian!)

Finally, my dad saw a special on Manga and Anime in Australia and thinks my sister and i should write a manga. And I'm all like- "But, I can't!" (See previous rants) Besides, my sister and I are like Mello and Near- we can't work together despite having similar interests. I'm always second to her even though she's ypunger. Thanks to for featuring me in her journal! It was a random act of kindness that made my day!

Okay...well, as you may know its been holidays and after many random days out and the computer breaking down I have been very slack on DA. Sorry.
(Why am I always apologizing???!!!)

Good news is I finished my homework, checked out some work experience places, hung out with friends and became slightly less hostile towards driving. I also purchased the R.O.D boxset-something I've been pursuing for a while.

I also recently saw The Prestige and 21 Jump Street. I'll jump straight to the point (pun unintended)- as a budding scrpitwriter and someone who enjoys making their own movies I'm always looking for different and stylish shows and movies. I have a lot of respect for the directors, writers, cinematographers, costume designers, light and make-up artists and Special Effects coordinators (as well as the more boring jobs of publisists, editors etc.) who work so hard to entertain people and spark their imaginations. They may not save the world but they preserve imagination- which is just as notable in my mind. (Notice I didn't mention actors. I hate actors.)

Well, once again I have revealed nothing about myself, ranted about fiction and apologized for being a lazy bitch. Life is good.

If you're still reading, you're a braver man than I (who remains a manly man by default, goddamn my unfemininity).

It's finally holidays which means once I get past my schoolwork and social engagements I may actually post some stuff. Good-o. Fortunately for you and unfortunately for me, my funds are very low at the moment so computer time is imminent (not that I don't enjoy your company).

Also, the first four days of the holidays (starting Monday) I'm going to be away on vacation with some pals and I'm unsure of the techology we're taking (my phone is out of battery for one and i've misplaced my charger again) but I hear there will be laptops so I will not completely be out of reach.

Finally, today I got a haircut. According to Millie or ~xxOrihimexx as you may know her, I've gone from Mikami to Uryu. This is not helped by my brother and sister's constant cries of "URYU HAIR!"

I really dislike Tite Kubo at the moment.

I'm also NOT eagerly awaiting the release of the 'Twilight' movie. Just so you know. Alex! Begin the rebellion! BEGIN IT!

Another part of news is that today we had to audition for parts in our class drama production. Anyway who pays attention will know last production I did lighting effects and i've reclaimed that position through my excellent persuasive skills, gestures and some clever visual planning including glowsticks with the help of Soren and Lucy. Most of my friends got the parts they wanted and Soren's going to be helping me backstage (she's the sound guru). TOGETHER WE WILL RULE THE PLAY! THEN- THE WORLD!!!HAHAHAHA!

My final note is- thank-you to the many friends and fans who faved or commented on 'The Things I Would Remember'. My most popular things tend to be the spur of the moment things I write at night, in the desperate moments when my family isn't watching me.

I've been really slack with typing and submitting lately but once its holidays (one more week!) I will hopefully have the chance to put more stuff up and work on things. I have this new found desire to try writing a manga again but unfortunately a)I can't draw and b) I can't write. You may be saying: "Hold on, Phoebe. You can write and your drawings resemble what they are meant to be most of the time" but ah! my problem is I can draw girls and kissing and write dramatic, angsty romance situations which are all good in Shojo manga. But i wanna write a Shonen manga! I love Shonen jump and Guy stories like Sgt. Frog and Tengho Tenge but unfortunately this requires:
a) the skill to draw a male protagonist
b) the skill to write a comedic story
c) the skill to draw action sequences

and

d) the skill to not act like a face and give up. (Tite Kubo, I'm looking at you- more on this later)

However, those of you who have been witnessing my whinging will know I'm currently obsessed with claymore which apart from the action sequences doesn't involve many elements of typical Shonen manga...maybe that's why I'm slightly optimistic.

Also, I should write/type more deAdelaide, work on my requests (sorry sorry sorry 100x over sorry) and stop whinging.

The Victim This Week is...(drumroll)...Zombie Powder!!!

This is the first series ever written/drawn by Tite Kubo, the man who bought you his more popular second series 'Bleach'. Zombie Powder is an action manga with a Western feel, a sarcastic main character, elements of One Piece and the typical family ties and comedy we've come to expect from Kubo Sensei. Alas, the series was cancelled in 2000 after a run of only 27 chapters which I read in one night. ONE NIGHT! Now I'll never read any more again and the story left off in the middle. So, this is my plan- I am willing to write the end of Zombie Powder (when I have time). If you know anyone who has also felt the sting of this short lived series (or anyone who knows Mr. Kubo's email address) please contact me. I will write the end to that series! For Elwood, Gamma, Smith and Wolfina's Sake!!!!!

Anyway, that aside, today I bought three (count 'em, THREE!) volumes of Claymore, my current obsession because its an awesome, easy to read series and all my friends keep pressuring me to buy more. Anyho...if you haven't read it or heard of it I implore you to check it out and if you do like it or find any awesome fanart note me because although obscurity makes you look cool, it's lonely.

Okay well the was the huge fight and when i read the back i was all like ohnoes teresa but instead priscilla became a crazy yoma thing and killed everyone and clare's just walking around with teresa's head and she's the weakest and raki had galk's sword and omgomgomg and there was ilena and that creepy girl whatshername facey face and she's all like i hate yoma and she was going to kill clare then she went all whoosy and the organbisation is trying to kill them and raki is so sweet and omg what will happen next?

Also, while i was purchasing the manga this lady collapsed right in the middle of the city. It freaked my sister out a lot and me too. She strated convulsing and she split her head open. Ouch...it just struck me as bad because no-one knew what to do. Even the adults stood around gawking and no-one would touch her. Ipicked up some bags she'd dropped but i wish i could have provided first aid or known what to do. It's terrible to feel so helpless.

Anyway, as you can gauge from my above sarcasm, I did not attend the first annual gathering of the BFFs but I attended the unofficial gathering of the Friendless Nerds of Sunday. We ate things made of cereal and had pointless arguements and paid out small children busking. Yes, I know I'm going to hell. Anyho- although it sounds boring it was kinda nice not being forced to dance like a trained monkey or being prodded into an already crowded photobooth..it was nice just to hang out and swap obscure references....hm...

Well, today was SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME because I went cosplaying in the city (again) with random AVConians and people lead (as usual) by the charismatic Millie (~xxOrihimexx who i swear gets more and more like Haruhi Suzumiya everytime she puts on that outfit).

Highlights included:
-Chocolate pancakes
- Being on a date with myself
- Seeing other randoms to add to our entourage
- Hanging out with God..whoops! I mean Kira.. no...i mean Light!
-Seeing everyone again!
- Trying to fit fourteen people in a single photobooth.
- Being on the radio and getting free socks! (Check the SAFM website on Monday)
- Kickstarting the Cosplay Subculture in Adelaide
- Seeing pirates and Ninjas! (I'm serious but they didn't fight to the death, unfortunately)
- Hanging out with Naomi (~Yuna919) who was my sister for the day. She's such a sweet kid.

Anyway, i was in my homemade Kyon outfit which made me realise- Tobi. L Lawliet. Kyon. Why am I always the man?!!!!! So next time i need to find a girly cosplay.. (I really wanna be Maya Natsume but i'm a little self-concious...)

If you know anyone who lives in Adelaide you've already read this a million times. Seriously, this place sucks.

Anyho-

My AVCon experience consisted of being Tobi and L, Caramelldansen for FIFTEEN FREAKIN MINUTES UNTIL I COULD NO LONGER FEEL MY KNEES and talking to fellow otaku freaks.

Highlights included people actually laughing at our skit in the cosplay comp, pokemon theme music and meeting the world's tallest Uryu Cosplayer. (He was called Tim). Also, meeting Naomi a.k.a. bleeding heart, no joking- . She's so cute in real life and she wrote more story so I don't have to headbutt her!

If you need more info, google it or ask specifics.

I'm a lazy ass.

On the FYI front I'm probably going to have more time to:

a) work on Sandra's million year old request of 93. Annoyance.

b) work on Laura's million year old request of her Bandaid picture. (DOWN WITH NETBALL!!!!)

and

c) work with my sister, Dero Dero Moo Moo (KANDA IS A WOMAN!!! Ellen: Lies! Lies!) on Kiiru's DevitXTyki fanfic (when will Allen learn?)

Anyway, exams started yesterday and i have three more to go. I felt really bad in Italian because i was whipping out my dictionary every five minutes.... Anyway-

In Drama our exam task was to perform this play aoffered to do light effects because 1) no-one else offered to do it and 2) it was kinda a sucky play (although a few of my friends and their superb acting spiced it up as well as managing props and costumes) Anyho I did the lights and missed like one cue and at the end my drama took me aside and told me I was so organized yada yada and i could go al the way through year 12 drama and acheiev good grades as stage manager. Now here's the catch. Although I love praise as much as the next teenager sadist, i've always wanted to be you know- the star. That's so vain I know but when someone tells you "Wow you make a great slave" it's better than being whipped but not comforting if you'd rather be king. Get it? If not- me=vain= wannabe star-reality=backstage.

I'm am sick to absolutelyfriggin death of hearing about the Twilight series. I don't give a blind monkey about it, honestly. The prose was good. At least refrain when I'm in the vicinity. i mean I spent most of my life being paid out for watching anime because it's "animated" and therefore not real or good. But suddenly everyone is in love with fictional characters because they love (insert rabid fangirl scream) Edward Cullen. I can't even talk about Edward Elric (who is better developed, more hilarious and knows better people and has suffered more. *nods*) without everyone going.. "Did you say Edward? EDWARD CULLEN?!"

We went to all our usual nerd hang outs, got some funny looks (and compliments) and various inquiries about when AVCon was on. (SOON!) We also talked to some fellow otaku (Remind me to look out for Hinata, Sakura and Howl at AVCon) and chased down a girl in a FMA jacket (great job, Haruhi.) Sadly no sign of Kira, Aliens, ESPers, Time Travellers or Deidara-sempai but the day wasn't completely wasted...

1. We went to Kangaroo Island which is really pretty but we had to get to school at 6.30 so that sucked. But the bus trip was funny.

2. Dorm rooms. We had to cook and everything oursleves which was an endless source of amusement. It also made us appreciate our parents. Our dorm was like 'home base'. Everyone kept coming in for some odd reason.

3. Little Sahara. Pretty much a place with big ass sand dunes. Me and some of my friends climbed the biggest one without that many footprints so it was difficult. My god it was the steepest pile of sand i've ever had to climb. Which makes a lot of sense actually.

4. Kelly Hill Caves. Dark, cold, pretty.

5. Our own personal David Attenborough and annoying OPDA by singing bad 90s kareoke songs on the bus.

6. Number of personal jokes acquired i.e. Katie and her crabs, Pasta drive, Pimpilicious Seal and his Light impression, Anna's impression of Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants...

7. Bonding. Everyone in our class has been together for almost three years and we're all really close. Next year we're going to get split up into different classes and we seized the camp as a time to hang out altogether.

8. Some of the history was pretty interesting. I guess.

Can't remember the rules but I have to post ten facts about meself and then tag people, then tell them they're tagged, then do the dance of one thousand candies and some other unnecessarily complicated stuff so I'm just going to write and you guys can go tag yourselves.

1. I enjoy using words from other languages. Hence, kapeesh, touche, che cosa? etc. I just find it fun and I like confusing people. Also I constantly abuse the English language so other languages deserve the same courtesy.

2. Alex () and my sister () think that I'm Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach. I can't remember how this started. One of them started calling me it and then the other one started then Alex told me to be nicer to Orihime and Ellen started punching me in the back and expecting my soul to come out. I tell you, I'm not Ichigo. DON'T MAKE ME GO BANKAI ON YOUR ARSE!

3. I like baking but am terrible at it. I am always volunteering to help cook and i like package cakes and things but I always need help setting the oven temperature. You will often find me in a panic screaming "WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!" Lucy helps save me.

4. I am seriously considering going vegetarian for Internation Vego Week (19th May to 25th) or whatever it's called. Mostly because Alex keeps telling me about all the benefits and I want equal rights for animals as much as the next person. Check :leafninja99: journal for details or anyone else who journalized it.

5. Have a feeling i am slowly improving at drawing. I should post some stuff but I'm too lazy.

6. No adults I know think I'm lazy. My mum, my dad and my english teacher all told me i wasn't lazy and I'm all like "Che cosa?" (See point 1 for details)

7. Have written four and a bit episodes of my proposed T.V. show "Deadelaide." I should post more of that too but I have a major SOSE assignment at the moment and that just sucks. A lot. Plus i don't get much time on the computer any more. I'm sure someone is going to kick me off soon.

8. I like manga more than anime. This just goes back to my whole "Read the book, saw the movie, the book was better" thing. Also after reading Deathnote and One Piece and comparing them to the anime I decided the manga wins. Deathnote loses so much of it's depth and intelligence in the anime and One piece, I just think the art looks great on paper and I love reading Oda-sensei's litttle comments on the question pages.

9. I can't wait until the new Joss Whedon show "Dollhouse" premieres in Australia. 'Nuff said.

10. My grammar is terrible. Just ask anyone who's reading this. Spelling is more important than grammar. Except for wHen YOu SpELl LIKe thIs. Then grammar is important.
