A few weeks ago, my Mac went kaput. I have no idea what happened to it. We still have no taken it in.

Because of this, I am not able to write. It's killing me as much as you may imagine. I can't download music, either, which is killing me even moreso.

I don't know when we'll be able to take the thing in. If we wait much longer, I may just have to start the new chapters of Invision and ADRPG over from scratch that I was working so hard on.

In real-life news: I have a boyfriend (and have for about a month or two now), and I'm friends with a pair of identical twins. It is a pretty sweet deal.

I'll be writing the profiles for Kat, Cheesemaster, Dawn Rabbitt, Campsoup1988, Glowurm, Horatio, Cheese Woman, C.C. Edna, Clean Machine, Shirley Locke, and Leguan. Each new profile will be upload at the end of each character story.

BEAUTIFUL movie. The animation was lovely as per Miyazaki, the story was wonderful (I didn't expect much after hearing it was based on The Little Mermaid) and was very pleasantly surprised. I was smiling in nearly all the scenes because, like My Neighbor Totoro, this movie made me feel so happy. That, and the fact that the first few scenes of the movie set it up for a Captain Planet-esque in your face Green Message that never came. I appreciate subtle environmental messages in kid's movies. Thank you.


ANYWAY-I really don't want to say anything more-go see this movie. Now. It's the friendliness and childhood-innocence from My Neighbor Totoro and the magic from Howl's Moving Castle rolled into one. Miyazaki is incredible.

OK, so school for me starts on the 25th of this month. Kidding, I'm actually looking forward to it. I really want to see my friends again, and go to Underground, but most of all I'm looking forward to drawing class.

Speaking of, I'm probably going to get a new sketchbook and redraw all the Invision, ADRPG, and Time Killer characters, once I take Drawing this year. I want to get a lot better (I mainly wanna sell buttons at cons....that would be fun), if you guys still want to see the current older drawings then say so.

Ponyo comes out this Friday, and Professor Layton: Diabolical Box came out yesterday (methinks. I don't keep track of time well in the summer). Unfortunately my mom is out of town, so I'll have to wait until Friday or so to buy the game. I'll definitely be seeing Ponyo this Friday with some of my friends, which should be awesome.

Yes, I'm back. Sorry for the disappearance-I forgot the charger to the laptop, which is why no updates or photos were provided. But I took plenty and they will be uploaded to FaceBook and dA very shortly.

I'm surprised, actually. A grand total of three people recognized my costume-I thought it would be like with Jeff and be none. Funny thing is a ton of people took pictures of me, not knowing who I was. XD

Me and had a ton of fun. We watched Trigun and Paprika in the showing rooms, and saw The Last Dance and Voltaire in Concert at the Steampunk rave thing. Oh, and made plenty of new friends, though unfortunately I couldn't find Allen the super awesome Steampunk guy in order to get e-mail addresses and stuff. >.< oh well....

I GOT VA AUTOGRAPHS @_@ Vic (Edward Elric) was a real nice guy and whispered into my ear with his Ed voice. Travis (Ace and Roy Mustang) was awesome, Todd (Allen Walker), Stephanie Young (Nico Robin) signed the picture of Robin I got from Doomsplosion, Wendy (Envy), and Laura (Lust). AWESOME.

I also bought a Godot badge and stickers of Ness and Olimar as Furries. XD I vaguely remember them being comic book characters dressed as Brawl characters, I'll have to dig through my business card collection to find out.

Oh, also I got plenty of buttons of course. When we went shopping me and , Mom gave each of us ten dollars to buy each other stuff with.

IRL friend messaged me on FaceBook and gave me an idea for a novel we could work on together (he's a writer too).

While the idea was just given to me a few minutes ago, from the way my mind is thinking right now, the idea is a Sci-Fi...ish... story (that will probably end up having a lot of influence from Chrono Trigger) about an Assassin who must travel years into the future to stop the rise of another Joseph Stalin and Soviet Russia. In Soviet Russia...-SHOT-

Along the way, he travels to other time periods, where he meets, a la Chrono Trigger (see?), a 1920's Paperboy and aspiring writer, a ninjitsu warrior from Feudal Japan, a Zombie from the distant future, and a shapeshifter who'll probably be from ye olde england or something.

Still trying to come up with names, but here they are so far.

Assassin-Jeff King (suggested by friend)
Zombie-Mort A. (suggested by friend)
Ninja-Yokaze. (probably not a real name but nickname)
Shapeshifter-Bryce Benedict (suggested by me. taken from a list of Medieval names)
paperboy-Clyde Gordan (still in the works. I looked up a list of names popular in the 20s, and there's too many I like. D= But I'll probably be using this one.)

I had a run-in with a really rude lady at the door, unfortunately, who was blocking the entrance; she was standing in the doorway talking to someone, and she was holding the door open herself so I grabbed the door and held it open, and politely said "Excuse Me", but she didn't move; a few other people came by and waited for her to move, and by this time I was contemplating just using the exits, when the lady turns around, scowls and me, and rudely says "Well Excuse me," and goes off on her way.

It irked me all the way into the theatre, but I suddenly stopped caring when I saw a trailer for "Where the Wild Things Are" (which is pretty much the first or second best kid's book ever), which looks really awesome; and I completely forgot about it when the actual movie started.

I think I may actually like this sequel better then the first one, if only because some of my favorite historical figures appear-Al Capone, Napoleon Bonaparte, Amelia Earhart, The Wright Brothers, Lincoln, and Einstein (albeit as a bobblehead)-which was awesome. I'm still undecided as to whether Capone getting pwned by Napoleon is awesome or not. Plus, since the Smithsonian has an art museum there were several scenes inside the art museum with moving paintings and sculptures, a la Harry Potter, which was REALLY awesome, especially when Larry and Amelia go inside one of the photographs. Oh, and there was a giant CGI Octopus. Octopi are one of my favorite animals, but seeing the octopus grabbing the Egyptian soldiers and flinging them around, and later on watching the octopus grab Larry with its tentacles, rub him against his head, and 'kissing' him with the suctions (I'm seriously not kidding, this happens) reminded me waaaay too much of hentai. I'm lucky I still liked octopi and Cthulu after having seen the horror that is tentacle rape, as well as that scene. But I can let it slide, since the makers of the movie probably don't know about tentacle rape.

Only REAL complaint was that whoever did the voices for the aforementioned Einstein bobbleheads (in the movie they're gifts in the museum gift shop) sounded French (Einstein was German). Meh, the accents are kind of the same, so I guess I can't really say anything.
That, and the ending. I won't spoil it for anyone, but I didn't like how it turned out.

But still, the movie was really good. Makes me wanna go back to the Smithsonian...especially seeing as I haven't been there in over eight years.

Well, present-wise, I only got books and money. The books I got were Coraline, Gerald's Game, Dreamcatcher, The Dark Half, The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (in a nice leather edition), and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

With my birthday money, I went to the store and bought Anansi Boys, Sandman Book of Dreams, Insomnia, Desperation, The Sea Wolf, War of the Worlds, and Master of The World.

Yesterday and Today I went to all the GameStops in town, looking for Tales of Symphonia; I ended up finding a copy, but along the way I also bought Zelda Wind Waker and Minish Cap (finally!), Chrono Trigger (Finally!), Luminous Arc, Star Fox Command, Clubhouse Games, Rondo of Swords, Sword of Mana, and Golden Sun The Lost Age. All the GameStops in town had a buy two get one free sale, which is the only reason I even got Rondo of Swords and Golden Sun TLA.

I've still no luck finding the rest of the Ace Attorney games. <___< I only have Justice for All, and I really want The other three games, especially Apollo Justice, but I'm a bit biased towards Krisoph Gavin and his sexiness.


And finally, only three more days of school left.

SCIENCE-Forced to work with a bunch of bimbos who constantly asked to cheat off my paper. You know, I love being a nerd, but it really sucks to be the only smart person in a group in Math or Science class.

STUDY HALL-Was bored, started writing 4chan stuff and Office Space quotes on the board. There's two whiteboards, and I'm friends with the teacher-she lets me write up there-so on one board I wrote "First I LOL'd, but then I serious'd". Some dumb bitch and her little friend (two girls I do not even know...and are both older than me) wrote "Your lame!". I merely walked over and corrected them. This seemed hilarious to them. They get on to me because "Serious'd" isn't a word. I walked over to the other board and wrote "I believe you have my stapler?" To which this girl erases part of and write "I believe your're lame", to which her friend cracks up. Apparently "Lame" is GENIUS to her. So of course my stuff gets erased, and the girl who was laughing the whole time wants to write "Stop writing on the board" on the board (Do I need to make fun of this?), and asks me how to spell "Writing". I cock my head, pretending to think, and say "Haha, no. I'm not helping you after you and your friend were laughing at me and writing nasty things about me on the board!" to which I go to help the teacher with some stuff. The other girl writes on the board "Maybe if you weren't retarted you would have more friends lame-o!" to which I respond with a lengthy speech on her utter idiocy:

"So let me get this straight...obscure quotes equals no friends, I see. Also, you spelled "Retarded" wrong, and "Lame-O" isn't a word. Thank you! Goodbye!"
The teacher starts talking about how the girl is only doing this because she wants to be cool, to which she goes into the obligatory speech on how she already is cool. I cock my head and say, "Gee, if you were so cool you would be a little more respectful to people who are different from you!" And I ask her why she's writing nasty things about me if I don't even know her, let alone having done anything to her. She gives me the excuse, again, that I was writing "Retarted" stuff on the board. I didn't even bother mentioning that quotes from hilarious websites and movies aren't going to hurt her, but I didn't bother, and I went and scribbled on the board with the markers. Stupid bitch.

Looking back now, I should have quoted Willy Wonka. "You win nothing! You Lose! Good Day Sir!"

But she would probably call THAT a retarded quote, too.

HISTORY: The girl in front of me thinks she made up Banana Phone, despite the fact that it was a meme on YTMND long before 8th grade (when she claimed to have come up with it), and it was a Raffi song years ago.
The two girls in front of me were also saying "That's Gay" to describe everything, and didn't seem to understand that it's offensive to do so.

Obviously, a lot of Twatlight flair is in the 'opular' Section.

These pieces of flair have messages like: "Twilight has changed my standards on love", "Miss Edward Cullen", "I'm waiting for my Edward Cullen", etc. etc. etc.

This is all bad enough, as we certainly DON'T need crappy novels giving preteen girls exaggerated views on men, but it was yesterday when I realized just how bad this book has ruined the minds of the fangirls. I saw a piece of flair with the message

So we headed over to the first one that came to mind, the only one where we could actually get money for the clothes: Plato's Closet, a.k.a "The store that plays Prince but no one who shops there knows who Prince is and is called Plato's Closet but no one who shops there knows who Plato is".

Included in the mix of outgrown shirts were a Pink Floyd shirt, a Rolling Stones shirt, a Lynryd Skynryd Shirt, a Black Sabbath shirt, and a Beatles shirt.

All of these band shirts, I got back because they were "Too Short".


BULLSHIT. Don't tell me the shirts are too short when you sell shorts and shirt in your store that barely count as lingerie. You didn't take them because you know the bimbos who shop there (and the people in there, while I don't know if they were bimbos, all wore clothes from Aero, AE, Abercrombie, and Hollister, save for one girl who wore a Disturbed shirt.) know who any of those bands are and the shirts wouldn't sell.

On the other hand, I went to a used bookstore and got Case Closed 1, 2, and 20, plus Lord of the Flies and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. I guess that makes up for everything.

It's implied he died a century ago and came back as a vampire, yet he still goes to High School, I guess he died young? Or maybe he's just bored. Well I sure as hell wouldn't go back to High School if I could live forever, since that would be the same as going to Hell. Kind of.

-Drinks the blood of animals and claims to be vegetarian.
-Sparkles in the sun.
-Whines. a lot.
-No personality aside from being whiny.
-Perfect, apparently.
-According to Bella, he's the most beautiful thing evar. OK, OK, Robert Pattison was kind of hot as Cedric Diggory, but he's not the sexiest thing in the world.
-Powers: Reads minds. Emo Angst.

I went to a Video Games panel, and the woman who hosted it asked everyone if they had a video game that was special to them, and when someone said EarthBound, there was a resounding chorus of "YEA!!!"s from the crowd, and a Black Mage cosplayer shouted "Fuzzy Pickles!" (Hey, wait, if FF fans like EB, then why don't EB fans like FF?), so that was awesome.

I saw a lot of awesome costumes and took pics of nearly all the ones I liked...unfortunately, I didn't get pics of the Team Fortress 2 cosplayers, the South Park cosplayers, or the guy cosplaying as Shrodinger's Cat (from Hellsing), who I really wanted a pic of. but I did get pics of other awesome ones, you can see them on my FailBook (Not all of them are up yet though). If you guys want me to upload the pics to dA or Photobucket tell me and I will.

Today I found a group of kids hanging out on the 2nd floor called "The Epic Fail Club", and I hung out with them for a while. The "Leader" gave me a paper crane, which ruled.

Now let me tell you about the vending area. That area was where I spent most of my time shopping as well as People-Watching. The vending area was split into two halves, which I'll talk about them separately.

The artist area was AWESOME. I bought three bookmarks (Strong Bad, Black Mage, and Do A Barrel Roll), a Green Rabbit hat, Triforce arm warmers, and lots and lots of buttons (Phoenix Wright, Edgeworth, Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, Geno, Ness with a baseball bat, Ness eating a hot dog, Link, Vash the Stampede, Alucard, Snake, Matt from Death Note, Sora, Edward Elric, Fatality, Falcon Punch, and I Can't Wait To Bomb Some Dodongos. I also got one of the women commission me a button of Jeff.). The artists were all very nice people and nearly all of them were dressed up. There was also lots of great art on sale.

Now let's talk about the vendors. The vendors are the people who sold things they didn't make themselves, and they were not even half as awesome as the artists.
For one, nearly everything was incredibly overpriced. I myself bought a Mew Zakuro keychain, but was originally planning on getting a full set of Mew Mew keychains, thinking the set was five dollars, but in fact each keychain was five dollars. I still don't know why I bought it. There was also a deck of Tokyo Mew Mew cards I wanted to buy that had anime screenshots and art on them, but I wasn't going to pay 45 dollars for them. The only other place I bought anything from was a booth that sold Sailor Moon stuff, I bought a Hotaru pin and some trading cards, which were pretty cheap. But even that booth had some One Piece pins I wanted to buy but I didn't want to pay nine dollars for one pin.

Anyway, it was awesome! I plan on going to a con in St. Louis in the Summer and another in Nebraska in November.

If you really care, I'm mainly upset 'cause my mom is out of town, one of my best friends has a sucky religious mother who won't let her hang out with me because I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, and another one of my best friends is being an asshat to me right now...oh and there's still my irks about the EB fanbase and dumbshits at school and school in general. Even the epic win that happened in Speech Class today and my mom tagging me with a Shuffle Meme on FaceBook isn't making me feel any better, so something must be wrong...


And none of the things that normally cheer me up aren't working. I can't think about Speech Class because my friend (the one being an jerk) made fun of me saying "Epic". I can't watch the Nostalgia Critic, because the same friend made fun of me and said one of my favorite NC quotes was stupid and unfunny...and he's a YTPer, so YTP won't help either. Well, I still have other YouTube stuff, YTMND, and AVGN that I can watch, hopefully that will make me feel a little better...
