I just looked through my previous journals and realised I forgot to update after my A-levels...so
- I got into Keele University, studying Biochemistry and Chemistry (joint hons)
- Currently living in Newcastle-under-Lyme, wherever the hell THAT is, in a flat that I really can't afford and has no stable internet connection.
- Realised that I really cannot handle my drink.

So what with all the studying I don't have much time to draw these days, nor the reference/inspiration that I get from the internet...I want to do stuff over the holidays though...we'll see how it goes.

Got back from leeds open day (went on one of those shitty little planes, pretty fun). Leeds is a nice place and the uni was awesome, put it as my first choice with Keele as a backup. Now just to do the work.

- went to cardiff, saw some big-ass steel factory. it was pretty damn cool and had a molten iron fireworks display with an added robot fight
- got my art award. the food was terrible
- went to reading festival, saw cool bands, met dan le sac & scroobius and hadouken!. made some cool new friends, went to a silent disco, got offered crack by strangers. good times
- bought a 50% share in a sofa for no reason
- passed my driving test!
- read a lot of books, played video games
- saw justin lee collins at work

anyway lol hi guys. It's journal tiem.
sooooo....stuff has been happening.

I had my 7 exams, definitely failed at least one of my 5 math exams. Biology = lol easiest exam ever.

DRIVING! I am taking my test next month, hopefully there will still be crude oil left in the world so I can go around cruising in my car with my homies. Need some good suggestions for pimping up my little peugeot 106, and bangin' tunes to blast while I'm driving past residential areas.

lifedrawingwise - I'm nominated for some thing that means I'm invited to some award thing with some other people. There is a free buffet for me and macky to eat and fill our pockets with sausage rolls and I get £20 of voucher for something. should be fun.

Doing my grade 4 piano. Must use youtube for reference videos and not to go "FUCKING 6 YEAR OLD KOREANS ARE BETTER THAN ME ;_;"

Still have my awesome car park job. Going to read a lot of books this summer. I have the pink laptop working now so I can take my tablet and laptop to places when I can't find any paper to draw on. I'll do some nice pictures of the beach or something.

But yeah, it's been awesome. I've had a lot of trouble with some bad schools in the past, and moving around so much, but this has been the best I've ever had. I also broke my attendance record for a school - I've been here for nearly 3 1/2 years now! The people here are awesome, and it's so relaxed and I've made some awesome friends - LOVE YOU GUYS~

I'm going to miss the friends that are going to college, but what with the internet and all we should be keeping in touch so it's all goood. I'll make some memorial thing with all the footage and pictars I've been taking this week.

Well, not exactly. I'm coming back in September to start my A-levels in the Sixth Form here, but that's completely different. THAT'S COLLEGE.
It's going to be weird, this is the longest time I've ever stayed at one school (nearly 4 years! D and half my friends are going off to a different college...;_; I'm going to miss regular school life and goofing around. WE'VE STILL GOT MEMORIES GUYS.....GUYS? D:

Just got back from Wales, which was as full of hills and sheep as I expected it to be. Very pretty hills though (as for the sheep, I'll leave that to the locals ;D). I even managed to shake off the feeling that Taily was going to track me down after a day or two.

A trip to an awesome second-hand bookshop/house full of books that happened to be for sale turned out nicely, with a kick-ass anatomy book and huge collection of Orwell non-fiction as well as some other geeky stuff for £15.

Running a shop like that is now my dream job.

So Wales was all cool, although I didn't do my temporary Easter ID using that awesome quote from Transmetropolitan. I need a new ID...I'll do some brainstorming on the train home or something if I'm not playing Pokemon link the entire time.

So, I've decided after some random moments of near-collapse and some slightly worrying symptoms such as having random internal organs hurt when I cough that I'm going to start eating/sleeping properly.

The more sleep I get, the more tired I am! I feel asleep in Chemistry yesterday, my teacher had to poke me to wake me up. Food bit is okay, although I'm going to have to march my Mum into the ASDA fruit and veg aisle so I don't die of malnutrition or something. I MAY ATTEMPT TO DO EXCERCISE. I SHALL CERTAINLY PLAN TO AND MAKE EXCUSES AT THE VERY LEAST.

Okay, so you're sat next to your friend in class. You're going to show them your drawing. Think about how you will get their attention to show them this, and how they would reply/look at the paper.

Got the situation in your head? Okay, get your paper and draw your prediction of you and your friend as a little comic, sketch, whatever (try to get your friend's expression right, you can mimic your own.)

Done? Right, now get your friend's attention in your selected manner and show them the picture of you showing them the picture of you showing them the picture. TIME PARADOX HILARITY WILL ENSUE.

My explanation is kinda long-winded, but seriously try it. It's surprisingly fun.
