I've also hit a huge road block when drawing...so I don't know what to do...retraining yourself to draw better is frustratingly hard work and I think it's getting to me. Those How to Draw Yaoi and Bishojo books are really the greatest though...I don't know what I would do with out them at the moment. And I haven't had any time to color on the computer either...I really need to do that. I also need to pull myself away from my video games before it consumes my soul XD

Real life has been nagging at me as well...but I won't get into that...

The updates get further apart and I am deeply sorry to everyone that I haven't posted anything new. I'm forever gratful that people keep favoriting my work and leaving me comments. As soon as I get over this hump I've built for myself...the art will hopefully flow more freely!

I've been retraining myself on drawing techniques making drawing a whole hell of a lot easier on myself then what I was doing previously....and believe me it's helped quite a bit. I've become a bit faster and a little better at bodies and hands and etc. Those books help A LOT.

Unfortunatly if I DO post art on here, I won't be coloring them until I figure out why my mouse has a mind of it's own. While my computer is faster somehow, it's TOO fast, therefore closing and opening too many windows at once as if I had clicked on it multiple times....I know it probably doesn't make sense, but believe me....on this old fossil of a computer...it's hell lol.

I've also been playing so many video games, they've captured most of my time. (I'm lazy too lol ) Tales of the Abyss is my true love at the moment, and Vesperia too.

Work, work, work, would also be a big factor.

I've also decided that most of my fan art stuff will go here instead of my original stuff. (Although knowing myself I'll go back on this and post anyways XD ) I'm so sorry guys, line art will be all I'll pst until I can work miracles and get a computer (or an HD TV <3 XD )

Because the hand-me-down computer that I do all my coloring on is slowing down, and because my Corel Paintshop is a version that should BE on that old system, everytime I use it it crashes my work. In order to use my Corel, I will have to scan it from in my room and send it to myself to download it on the computer that uses Vista. (Because we don't have a damn printer/scanner for the good system). I don't want to go through all that hassle, plus that means I'm downstairs with distraction, so I've put coloring my work on hold until I either A.) Take the time to scan and send my work to myself, B.) Save up for a new freaking computer, or C.) Save up for Photoshop.

I have been drawing a lot, and what I should do is post my line art up here so you guys have something to look at. Dragons have been my focus right now, and I even did fanart for the book series of Elizabeth Kerner. My God, if you haven't read Song in the Silence, The Lesser Kindred, and Redeeming the Lost....you are not a dragon fan lmao! Greatest dragon books ever written. Read them!

But anyways, hopefully I'll be coming back here soon. Until then, please be patient with me! See you soon!

I've tried my hand at writing for awhile, but I can't deny my number one love: art. I'm forcing myself back into my Zowie artwork, because I really need to stop fooling around and get that thing started. lol Zowie's other personality has a name now. ^^ So maybe I'll post him soon. I'm working on the storyline now, so hopefully I can give you guys a sneak peak.

My computer is a bit on the laggy side, and I really wish I had that Photoshop CS2 program that I see people coloring beautifully on. It's kind of disheartening me a bit, but I gotta work with what I've got. But because my computer in my room is still XP, I'm going to send my pictures to myself and work on the main computer that has vista. Isn't it funny how they're forcing you to use that damn program by lagging the older systems up? XD Hopefully that fixes my problem since my brother moved his games into his room. Peacful living room until my mom gets home. XDDD lol

I also have been playing my PSP a lot, which I finally beat the masterpiece known as Crisis Core. Silent Hill Origins is still pissing me off, so no progress there. XD I've also been playing PSU, but I think I'm going to get another Xbox 360 so I can play with my brother.

But I can't do anything until the next anime con is past, since I have to save money for that. =/

Naturally, I had to buy DW6.

Ok.

I know I've said that I didn't like the way they changed it, with like characters and stuff like that, but lemme tell you.

I was violently angry that they changed Zhang He (my favorite character I think EVER created in anything lol ). They took his claws away and his outfit is just.....horrible (for the most part). lmao

BUT.

Oh my god. I've never seen anybody kick so much ass with a spear in my life. XD Once you get over the fact that they changed him....he's really the best he's ever been lol THIS IS COMING FROM A DIE HARD ZHANG HE FAN. lol His combos and musou....gawd. lol And they didn't touch his speed at all. He just proves he can be just as beautiful with a normal spear as he can with claws. ^^ lol

Xu Huang and Zhang Fei are great too for once lol. It's like they turned them around for the better so I can actually enjoy being them lol.

I still think Zhou Yu looks ridiculous save for his pretty hair. But he really is better then he was with a staff vs his sword lol. Lu Xun kicks ass too, majorly so lol.

I still think Xiahou Dun was a dissapointment (but he looks great lol) and no offense to Xiao Qiao fans, but she's really not much better either.....lol

The music is great. lol

Now for the crap that REALLY pisses me off in this game.

You'd think that with all the modifications and changes they did too these characters, their stages and storyline would be awesome....

.....not everyone has a musou mode. And guess who doesn't have one?

Zhang He..... as well as half the characters in the game.

All these cool characters and the only way to be them is by going to free mode and challange mode. I'm livid at that. lol So now I'm stuck as player 2 for the rest of the game lol.....and it's a lot of characters that don't have a mode either. lol That and they took out some of the characters....I'm still a little upset about that.

Ugh. lol

I can rant on this game all day, but I'll spare you. lol

I STILL like 3 and 5's costumes for Zhang He, 5 being my favorite.....but I really like that spear he has now....it's hard going back to the claws once you do that wonderful kind of damage.

I've been playing Nexus the Kingdom of the Winds...it's so fun and addicting

There's a lot of family issues that have come up as well, of my extended family on my mom's side not my immediate. And as far as I'm concerned, they can all go to hell. I won't go into that though. I'm just a bitter human being.

I've had a bit of an artist block I'm trying to climb over lol Downlaoding music on amazon seems to help me climb over it though lmao I've switched gears and have been drawing fantasy stuff. Probably because I've been reading my Dragonlance books XP

Blue October is a wonderful band...it's like it was made just for Zowie lol

I had jury duty too...which was THE most boring thing I've ever done.....omg lol

Other then that I've been working, playing Nexus, and drawing. ^^ lol

8 things huh? Here goes!

1.) I am very much into the anime style of art, as well as (of course) anime itself! But probably my number one love, even over anime (gasp! well it's kind of both equal lol ), is horror! So I combine the two and try to intergrate (I need a spell check for my brain lol ) it into my art... no matter what I'm trying to draw sometimes! lol!

2.) On the same note, I didn't start drawing anime until I was in the 7th grade lol My first love being Sailormoon, which is what got me started drawing anime in the first place

3.) I cannot draw without music. I must have a soundtrack, or I just can't draw. All of my pictures are based on my mood at the time and it's enhanced by the music I listen to.

4.) I came up with Zowie, believe it or not, when I was ditching my Math 1 class during a semester of college And I know I sound psycho (and I probably am anyways lol ) but he's my life lol

5.) I am so obsessed with dragons I swear I need a rehab for it lol

6.) I have a horrible fear of doctors, hospitals, needles, and anything else related to that field. And I'm serious, it's pretty bad. (Yet it's my favorite subject when watching horror =/ probably because of that fear lol ) I think that trauma started when I was really young. I was getting my shots and they were doing it in the legs. I freaked out and kicked at the nurse giving me the shot in one of my legs and broke the needle. Luckily it didn't go through, but I couldn't walk on it for awhile lol That and I have arachniphobia XD

7.) I stare at a blank piece of paper for hours at a time before I can think of something to draw sometimes lol

8.) I work as a service specialist (lmao I swear that's what they call us now lol aka bagger ) at Save Mart

I'm hooked on drawing Zowie at the moment lol I can't stop myself, it's like drugs lmao I think they need a rehab for artists sometimes lol! (Or maybe just me lmao )

Ahhh I miss my diffuse feature in Photoshop though... but that's about it now XD

For drawing, blue pencils are the way to go I recommend them lol Draw with them first, when you scan, the lines won't catch on the scanner (but draw lightly! ). And if some lines do, just turn the color saturation down to black and white. First blue pencil, then a normal pencil, then ink it and you're set to scan. It's more work, but it looks pretty good No lie! Try it! They're pretty cheap too, I found them for only $0.65 or something like that lol The pens are light blue in color and they're called photocopy pencils or whatever lol Nice little tool if you wanna try it Now if only I'd buy some tone sheets or whatever manga people use

It still doesn't have certain features I liked in Photoshop, but I really enjoyed painting in Corel ^^ lol It's harder in my opinion, but the brushes are so much better lol (Once I knew where the heck my background eraser was lol)

(Thanks go to Tabbykat for the offer by the way lol I think I'll be ok now with Corel though lol)

If anybody really knows me, it's my ability to pass judgement on something before I really give it a try lmao (My best friend'll tell you I'm like this with books too) I get all whiny and tantrumy XD lmao (and it's only on inanimate things never people XD lmao )

I posted my Corel creation ^^ It's Zowie of course ( I use him for all of my experiments lol ). Oh and the title is a NIN song on The Fragile ^__^ Cuz Zowie's evil side is too fucked up to care anymore (song lyrics sorry for language ) I hope you guys enjoy it! I'll have more on the way!

There is but one downside to the whole thing.

.....I lost my Adobe Photoshop.

It's gone forever until I buy another one to replace it. The reason I don't have a disk for the old one is because my mom's co-worker did our old computer for us.

I have the newest version of Corel paint though, but I really don't like that program for painting. I don't see how anyone can manipulate it. What I do like about it, is the effects it has. They are absolutly perfect for my horror creations lol I give the highest kudos for those who can paint on that program >_< lol I get so frustrated I cry XD

I really miss my photoshop, so until I save enough money for one (or find someone in my family that has a disk) I still won't be posting much art I'm sorry guys. The newest version of Photoshop goes for...and I'm not kidding.... around $1000.... it's insane.... even the other versions prior to it are around $300..... Y_Y *sigh*

I'll post some of the art I did before my system crashed. As well as unfinished ones (if I can manage to figure out how to do that scraps feature lol) But as for new colored art....you probably won't see any for awhile Y_Y I'm so sorry...

Hello everyone! First off I would like to thank all those who favorited/commented on my artwork, thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!!!

I am so sorry I haven't updated in such a long time, my computer is so infected that the only cure is to get a new system lol And I've been working so much >< lol

I've been in Pokemon Pearl and PSO3 land as well lol With money comes stuff! Lol!

I've found that working at a grocery story is freaking insane lol The stories I could tell you lol! But you meet a lot people whether it's regulars or staff, and never ever ever try to call in sick just 4 minutes before your shift lol Talk to the wrong manager and they get piiiiiissed lmao found that out the hard way today XD But I didn't really know that >< lol I came in anyways though ^^ lol I really am kind of sick though, with allergies lol I've been such a hardworker, I hope they don't look at that one thing the wrong way =< I felt terrible about doing that ><

In the way of drawing I've been doing my comic, which is becomming more developed lol

I'm posting just a quick thing I did a little bit ago, it's Aysu my ice dragon in transformation mode ^^ Haven't drawn fantasy in awhile lol

By the way, if you want a good storyline, buy PSO3 ^^ I know it's a card battle system (And I HATE those lol) but this one is worth it. It's addicting (just like PSO lol)

I recently got myself a job, which is why I haven't been updating XD I am now a Save Mart employee! ^__^ *fanfares and confetti* And I work strange hours, since I never know when I have my days off until they post the schedules every Thrusday lol But still XD I get $8.05 an hour and everyone is so nice!

Long story short, I probably won't be updating as often as I should be lol XD (Not that I was updating like clockwork or anything =/ lol I apologize for that)

They stopped the Pokemon episodes, gotta wait until they put some new ones on lol Been playing Pokemon Sapphire, and I started as a girl character this time XD Jessie this time instead of James XD (That's my Fire Red file lolz)

I watched the premire of Diamond and Pearl on Cartoon Network yesterday (I think they've shown these episodes before, but I missed em last time lol )

The voice acting is horribly bad now, probably THE worst dubbing in the history of anime. No joke lol. Ugh it's bad lol I know they changed the voices earlier on when the Battle Frontier was going on, but still....geez they couldn't stick it out for just two more series? lol (They were probably going crazy doing those voices since it went on for so long XD "WE QUIT!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!" lmao X'D ) I really liked May's first voice too....and Jessie's voice too with her calm insults XD...ugh the new one for her is UGH lol

James....well.... I liked his old voice vs that horrible new one lol And Ash makes me hate him even more with his new voice lol Brock's voice is trying to hard XD Dawn's voice is annoying to me, even though I like her lol

Meowth's is ok though....I don't really care what voice they give him lol

But being a die hard fan, I gotta watch lol =/ I'll get used to it eventually, I GUESS. But it makes me mad when that happens >< lol

Anyways, it's cute thus far, even though I really did like the Hoenn region series the best. The new Pokemon in that series was AWESOME, and I love May as much as Team Rocket (I need to draw her lol) and Latias being my absolute favorite Pokemon ever lol (Emerald being my favorite game lol Zowie is an awesome dragon Pokemon trainer lmao XD )

I've been playing Fire Red as of late, leveling all of James' Pokemon (since I always name myself James every Pokemon game I play since Blue version, with the exception of Emerald) Chimecho is bomb, and so is Weezing lol Cacnea.....not so much lol But it's cute so I keep it lol My Growly is also bomb ^___^ lol But he's an Arcanine now XD Victreebel I've always known as bomb since I had one in Blue version a looooong time ago lol (even before I knew it was James' Pokemon XD)

I cheated the Pokemon League though....used my high level ones from my other games....I wanted my Hoenn Pokemon =< lol

My aunt had a BBQ on Sunday at her Galt home. Lots of people came, most of them my aunt's friends and family, including my mom, me, and our neighbor (who's like family lol)

And 5 or 6 little kids were there as well lol Which meant....I was the one they wanted to play with lol! I'd rather play with the kids then the adults anyways, since I don't drink or have ANYTHING in common with ANYONE, so I go play with the kids due to the fact that I'm like a big 6 year old myself lol

Long story short, I was pulled, mugged, tugged, and yelled at amongst the kids lol We went from the pool to the hot tub back and forth lol I almost drowned at one point XD Where I had 2 kids jumping on me on both sides, plus the only boy splashing me XD

I was so tired! Lol! But it didn't stop there XD I rode an AVT Which was so fun! I didn't get to drive it though cuz I forgot lol

We ended up staying the night, since my neighbor wanted to leave early and my mom didn't, so our only ride left us XD Thank goodness I brought all my stuff just in case XD I fell asleep at 4am, only to be awakened by my mom trying to get in the airbed at 6am =/ lol I was mad lol

And if anyone's like a team of something it's me and my mom XD We ARE Team Rocket, Jessie and James, without the catching Pikachu part and Meowth isn't there either I'm James (the stupid one and nicer one of the group lol) while she's Jessie (the mean, loud one lmao and verbally abuses me =/ lmao)

It was fun though

Oh and I'm writing a fanfiction, which isn't very good at all actually lol But it's Pokemon related since I'm on that kick at the moment lol I'm going to crossover with horror and by gawd I can make it work XD I just need to learn how to write and I'll be set XD

I have been so busy that I barely even had time to draw let along photoshop lol So much stuff, good and downright terrible, has been keeping me from doing what I love...causing me to lose sleep (like I never had a problem with that before XD) and just utter lack of creativity.

I've been into Pokemon a lot recently, so I've been drawing a lot of that lol I almost have every Hoenn Pokemon <3 So I can get me a Totodile soon <3

A friend of mine from FF11, taught me the wonders of layering And let me tell you...it's a whole heck of a lot better and easier then what I was doing lol So now I'm retracing my steps and learning new techs all over again ^^ I give him most of the credit for helping me with that too, probably would have never figured it out on my own.

He's got wonderful art on here as well, but I have no idea how to link to his stuff lol But anyways, his DA name is Blademoor, so check his stuff out!

Greetings everybody! Not much going on in the way of my real life, but Zowie has been busy! Lol! I've been drawing, drawing, drawing as of late and I've drawn so much that I can't keep up with myself lol!

I found a working design for the main character of my little world (I've had it for awhile now actually lol)lol But he's still too young looking! Lol! Argh! Older people are so frustrating to draw >_< He's supposed to have a 16 year old step daughter...(Ooh I should post her derr lol! I keep forgetting lol) but I can't make him past the 20 year mark ><

And there's that buisness of the bad guys, who are supposed to be OLD But if I can't get Jay to look how he's supposed to....ugh! lol! Older men are a pain ><

Women are easy to make look older on the other hand lol So I have a working design for another character who's the sister of the wife of the main character (Confusing lol)

All and all, there are 4 main characters. All of which will be posted as soon as I am happy with the outcome

There's Zowie (no last name) of course, who, as much as I draw him, is actually not the main character lol

Then there's Heather Alden, who's first name (I swear to you) came to me in a dream lol

The main character, Jayson Alden, who's definetly the main focus of the story and the stepfather of Heather.

And last but not least, Evaleen (bah I have a last name for her but I have to look at my notes again >< lol) who, like stated above, is the sister-in-law of Jay and the aunt to Heather.

All but Jay are sorted out darn it lol

But anyways, that's about the size of it ^^ Ttfn!

I was sick with a cold go figure lol Which of course turned into bad ear infections. On friday it was so painful I had to go to the Urgent Care place because my doctor wasn't open lol And the lady there was nicer then my doctor...I'm with Zowie, I HATE doctors.

So I have been doing absolutly nothing but drawing, drawing, drawing! lol I'll post a bunch of my random Sudafed (the real Sudafed lmao) induced art...which some of them I'm surprized they're coherent lol

I watched all my horror DVDs and played Sims 2 also lol

Been listening to a lot of the raido too since pluging in my earphones wouldn't be a good idea lol So my new favorite song is that Nelly Furtado song that I can't remember the name lol But I swear they played it hourly XD That new 92.1 station (Sacramento, CA) is really bomb too They play all my old stuff from 50s to about the 80s, but it's a great place to hear all those old tunes ^^

That's about the size of my spring break...sigh lol I did make $50 over it though on Saturday before I got sick lol So when I better...muahaha >

Forgive the lack of updating as well, it's been a very crazy couple of weeks and I'm just very tired of it all to be honest lol I haven't even had a chance to sit down and photoshop lol

I've been obsessing over Samurai Warriors Empires for weeks now XD So I've draw LOTS of that lol And dragons as well since I'm reading Eragon ^^ lol

I've got to say, Both Empires and the movie Eragon were a disappointment lol Only thing that saved Eragon was Saphira herself (but I knew that because she was the only reason I went to see it....I honestly thought she was beautiful <3 lmao) But the book is 10,000 times better and I'm enjoying it imensly Empires I'm also enjoying, regardless if the character creation mode is garbage and they changed Mitsunari's voice The humor of that game just cracks me up ='D That game is so WRONG on so many levels but I LOVE it so much <3 lmao

So what better way to draw both dragons and SW then combine the two! Lol! So now everyone (nearly) has a dragon they ride into battle or a fire lizard-ish beast for a pet (Anne McCaffery reference lol) The names of the dragons I use are the names of the horses in the game so I can be lazy in that respect XD But where as the dragons themselves are mine, their names and riders are not =<

I WISH I had Mitsuhide....or Mitsunari......but alas.....

I've been torn between my fantasy characters and Zowie, I just can't make up my mind on what I want to draw lol >< But I did manage to finish the human version of Aysu. Oh and by the way, I stand corrected! Aysu really does mean "ice" thanks to my best friend who took Japanese for 2 years XD lol! So he really is more of an ice dragon now! XD

I've finally got me a deviant art account! Lol! I had been wanting one for so long but I just never did it lol So now I've got one! ^_^

My real name is Jamie and I am a CSUS student at the moment, trying to earn my degree in art. I absolutly love horror, followed by fantasy, sci-fi, anime, and especially video games. My favorite style of drawing is the Japanese anime style, but I also like other styles as well. I absolutly LOVE the Silent Hill series, and it's what inspired me to do my original stuff (Like Zowie lol). I also love Japanese horror, which is also a big influence, as well as other horror movies. I love haunted house movies. Love em lol.

I am also a dragon fanatic to say the least XD. I collect almost every dragon I see (in a reasonable price range mind you lmao!). Red dragons are my favorite, and one of my favorite dragons is Heart's Blood from Jane Yolen's Pit Dragon Trilogy.

And I love anime and video games. Silent Hill, Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors 2, Guilty Gear, Tales of Symphonia, and Final Fantasy 7 are my absolute favs ^^. For anime it would be Hikaru No Go, Fushigi Yuugi, Star Ocean EX, Elfen Lied, Gravitation, and Fruits Basket, but for the most part, I love manga more. Sorcerer Hunters, Planet Ladder, Fushigi Yuugi, Dragon Knights, as well as many many others ^^.

And I can talk the leg off a horse if you'll let me lmao.

Well, I'll be uploading all my art that's on my computor today lol There's a lot, so I'm really sorry if it's too much in one sitting lol (I just get that little 5 year old excitement with new things lol!)
