I got my birthday present from my mum and dad today (even though my birthdays on friday). Guess what I got? A Wacom Intuos 4! It's so awesome! It's a large too. They come in extra large, but the large is pretty damn big already.

My granddad died today. I'm not that particularly sad, it was a long time coming. He was ninety six(? I think, it may have been ninety seven) years old and died peacefully, just drifted away while he was talking to grandma.
He lived a full life in his younger years. I did not know him very well, my older brothers and sisters knew him in better days. I'll remember him as a kind person because he was kind to me.
I will not mourn him the years I did not know him, though the years I knew him were few.

I thought I'd get that off my chest. He died of kidney failure if you wanted to know.

On a brighter note: I'm doing something up for Halloween(well I'm trying to, I haven't been able to draw anything lately. I just haven't felt inspired), so we'll see how that goes. And perhaps something for my sisters birthday, if I can think of anything.

My ballet concert is finally over! I've been so done with it for the last month and now it's over. I'm very happy about this, no more sewing for me for a very long time!!
I am so sick insanely sick of pointe, I have brought two pairs of pointe shoes in the last month and latest one is already too soft and very painful to just wear. If they weren't so exspesive I wouldn't mind so much, but at one houndred bucks a pop I really wish they wouldn't brake so easily. It's my feet really and the last pair were a soft type, but it's easier to blame the pointes then my feet.
Thanks for listening to me rant and I'm going to start getting things up and running again soon.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I've been busy with ballet and swine flu (or normal flu, I really don't know or care). I haven't been doing any photo manipulations lately I've mostly just been drawing stuff. Which I don't finish. I've been working (not very hard) on this illustration for my friends birthday, which was last month. It should be ready be her next birthday but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were her.

I was thinking of making an art journal/blog (for sketches, drawings, etc.). And I was wondering if I should call it MyDiamondEyes or something better. MyDiamondEyes was a name I came up with on the spot when I first joined dA, when I was twelve. Not a really great name. So should I keep using MDE, or do something better. I will probably use MDE, or whatever other name is decided, for other things aswell.

I experienced snow for the first time this weekend!!

It was beautiful!! We ('We' being all the Australian youth in my church) went to mount Hotham, which is between Melbourne and Sydney.

It was the first weekend of snow for the season and the snow report reckoned there was only going to be about 3cm of snow, but there was blizzard right before we went up on sunday so it turned out to be heaps! It snowed a little while we were there, but it really started snowing just as we left. But the time we were leaving the mountain it was completely foggy, it was freaky crossing the road because you could barely see the cars lights.

We stayed at the bottom of the mountain, in a town called Harrietville. The cafe over the road from the place we stayed at soled the most beautiful hot chocolate! It was made out of Belgian chocolate, I wish I had brought a box of it now.

So, yes, I had a good weekend. I might put up some pictures if anyone sends me some (I neglected to take my own).

Google did a really hilarious April fools with Virgin. I don't know if it was on any other Google aside from australia ('cause I couldn't see it on Google.com). But they made up this story about wanting to start the first human colony on mars. They even had a questionnaire to see if you could be a space pioneer! The questions were so funny and had ridiculous answers. I didn't get round to doing it till it was too late, but Nina and David did it and it looked really hilarious.

It tasted terrible because of the seeds.
So, I'm trying to go to sleep. I get up about 2:30 to 3 am, feeling a bit off, my stomach didn't feel right, So I stay up in the lounge room on my computer. I talk to my dad and sister about the stomach thing, they say it'll go away just keep your mind off it.
At 4:30 am, I find a huge rash on my inner thighs and under my arm pits and my wrists. So I'm a little freaked, I wake up my dad and my sister. They don't know what it is, I new it was a reaction to something, so we search it on Google, don't get much of an answer.
We ring mum, she says I should take an antihistamine and go to the hospital. So I take a cold and flu tablet (it was the closest thing we had to an antihistamine), and went to Armadale hospital.
we get there at like 5, and I find out that I have a seed allergy. I got prescribed antihistamines, and got sent home.
it's a good thing I don't like seeds, or I'd be quite a lot more disappointed.
the stomach thing has gone away and the rash is clearing up, so I'll be right.

It was supposed to start tonight with fireworks, on the swan river. but they had to cancel it, because it was too windy. that sucked. but they're going to try again tomorrow, so I may be able to catch it then, I'll have to ask my dad if he'll take me. There's a lot a things going on this year. quite a lot of free things too. mum, me, and Hayley, are planning on going to a lot of the free things, 'cause there fun. and I'll see if Catherine wants to go to some of the jazz. It's gonna be fun!

And I finally finished Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It took age's reading it on and off, but it's done! now I'm reading The Two Towers. Yay! While I was reading FotR I got Infatuated in a fan fiction called Indebted Written by the amazing writer ~Velf. It's an FMA fan fic I've only watched about two or so episodes of FMA but I loved her Spirited Away fan fiction so I was going to read just a little bit of her FMA one but I started reading and I couldn't stop, it's great!. anyway the link to her FanFiction.net account is on her profile so go check her out!

A Journal about it when I got home and
I was to busy today. I had a very exhausting
Day yesterday first I was woken up at eight
Left the house at nine 'cause we went boating
In the morning. my arms were hurting after
That 'cause we were in blow up dingys(small
Boats in case you hadn't heard the word before)
With oars. very tiresome but fun nonetheless.
Then we had lunch. then we went home I had
A shower and got ready for ballet, then I went
To ballet(never would have guested!

) then
After ballet we, of course, went to the Royal
Show. It was really fun I went on a rollercoaster
and got show bags and at about nine there was
Fireworks! it was so funny my nephew was
There he's about four months or so old, when
The fireworks start he was just sitting there
Transfixed on them he looked so funny

Yep very long day but really fun! I hope everyone
Had as good a day as I had

It made me
Happy again! my laptops still giving me the shits
though, power cords mucking up again even
After I got a new one! but thats ok I'll just have
To use my desktop and whatever computer
I can find at my mums place.
Anyway I have nothing else to say so Bye
