Lately I have been feeling down. Part of it has to be school stress. In my math class we do everything online, which makes doing the work and tests harder on me. And I currently have a 52.8% grade. We need a 75% to pass, and our final is the 18th. I don't think I can get my grade up in time.

On less stressful notes, I have been on youtube lately watching an old favorite. "Daria". Anyone else a fan? The show still remains hilarious to me even though I haven't watched it in years.

So even though it looks too soon for the Christmas spirit, I find myself getting more excited for it. Yesterday the loacl radio was playing John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" and I just found myself excited.

Now for my English course we are working on argumentative essays. I chose something I hold tons of passion for. I am going to argue that violence in movies does not cause violent behavior. So far in researching I keep finding the opposing viewpoint, but I will find stuff that agrees with me. I just feel like what some troubled people have done in real life, does not mean the movies or music they listen to is the blame. Because of this I will probably entitle my essay "Where Were the Parents At?" Because no way do I think the media is responsible. I watch violent movies and listen to Marilyn Manson, but I don't plan on shooting up my college. Along with millions of others who gravitate towards that kind of stuff.

Onto something more cheerful for me. "America's Next Top Model" cycle 13 ended this week and they came out with the best winner in years! Nicole Fox, oh I love her. In my college we are starting to select our second semester courses. I'm definetally taking English Comp. II and Art History II. Not sure of anything else. After this semester's Sociology class I am going to choose those a lot more carefully.

So anyone shocked to see Christmas things set up this early? The other day on the radio I heard Christmas songs. And I go to Target and see they have fake trees set up and all that. I know people get the holiday decorations up early, but this is too early for me. I mean its barely even a week into the month.

Last night my sister and I went to go see "Where the Wild Things Are". I laughed, cried, smiled the whole way through. This movie was everything I had hoped it would be. Just captured all these fond memories of Sendak's book, but still with plenty of origionality. It was so well put together by Spike Jonez, he should get a nomination for this. Max Records for a child gave a very strong performance. They really made Max a realistic young boy, with his tantrums and imagination. They were not going for the typical "Hollywood kid", though he's very cute he wasn't a watered down version of how children behave. He has shown a lot of raw talent in this movie, I hope he goes on to do really well. The Wild Things were voiced wonderfully, the fact that they are puppets and not CGI also impressed me. Only their facial expressions were computer made. The music fit this movie very well. It would not be a stretch to say this was one of my favorite things, if not my favorite, I have seen all year.

People tend to say this loosely, but I really encourage anyone to go see this movie. Whether you read the book as a child or not.

Now I have been struggling a little to come up with new ideas for pictures. So I want you guys to tell me what kinds of things I have done that you like. Or things you would like to see more of. Maybe then I'll have a great idea for a Halloween picture.

I'm still excited for "Where the Wild Things Are". I don't think I've been this excited for a movie since "The Dark Knight".

So I have been busy with school work. I think alot of people have been. There is always a decline in updates in September.

It's early, but I'm already thinking of Halloween. Who doesn't love that holiday (except for Jahova's Witnesses of coarse) The best horror movies get aired on tv, it gives us an excuse to eat candy like no tomorrow, people get reason to dress up. I'm not sure if anything will be going on for me, but I am just thrilled it's comming up.

Not a whole lot else to say here. My week wasn't bad except on Monday my car battery wore out. But it was replaced.

Now I mentioned my Sociology teacher in my prior journal. I mentioned how she forces her views on organic food into our lessons. Now I don't like that. And last week she had us listen to some famous songs from the 60s and 70s("Give Peace a Chance", "My Sweet Lord") The songs she chose were meant to be songs with a strong message. Too bad almost every single song was something politically based. And not all powerful messages relate to war and politics. then we listened to modern songs. Too bad she overlooked anything truely great in recent years just to play "Just Dance" and "Waiting on the World to Change". Every modern song she chose I hate. And she had us look at the Top 10 Billboard charts in recent years and she referred to everything as "a fluff song". Much music today IS fluff. But we have great musicians regardless. We have Coldplay, we have Muse, we have U2. We have great music with strong messages still comming our way no matter what she claims.

That isn't the worst of that situation though. She showed the Top 10 from the POP CHARTS. So it's no wonder last year's Top 10 included Britney Spears, and Katy Perry. But "Viva La Vida" was a song in there and she was trying to lump Coldplay in with them! Oh yeah, Chris Martin writes nothing meaningful he is no better than someone who pretends to be a lesbian just to get men hot!

She expects us to buy that!? I regret not saying anything at the time, but someone else was talking about why he too hated "Waiting on the World to Change" and "Where is the Love" (we also listened to that) I just don't understand this woman.

I did Skid School today. Man, this was the only time I will be able to get away with that bad of driving! I went in all kinds of directions, and the girl after me did even worse!

"9" was a great movie! Go and see it. Now I just have to wait for "The Invention of Lying" and "Where the Wild Things Are" to come out. I'm especially excited for "Where the Wild Things Are", never owned the book but I always loved it. And the way it looks in trailers is incredible. Then in November "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" comes out, so this year for movies is pretty damn good!

My Sociology teacher is making me and my class bend to her political views. She wants us for an assignment to call up our state reprisentative to inform them of hormones being put into milk for school kids. Fine, it's a cause that I can respect. But it is not legal to force someone to do something political. It's our choice, but she's making me and I have to. Not only do I have to, but I need to get two other people to and my parents don't agree with this.

I was doing my math homework, but some of it has to be done at home because of the computer programming here.

"9" comes out today (hooray!). I won't be able to see it today (boo!) but on Friday I will since I get class off every Friday (yay!). This is a great autumn for movies. Three months in a row a movie comes out that I want to see. September is "9", October is "Where the Wild Things Are", and in November "Fantastic Mister Fox" comes out. It will be amazing!

But at the moment I'm just passing time from now until my Sociology class. I'm surrounded by people working while I'm on here being all discreet (the girl next to me is typing an essay on suicide) So I'll just write this to help the time go by. And I have 2 hours to go.

Tuesday was the freshman orientation. It was painfully boring. But the worst was that I got horribly lost on my ride home. My school is in Gardner (about 40 minuets from my house) and I ended up lost and driving around for an hour and a half. It sucked, I felt like breaking down when driving. Luckily two people gave me directions that led me to the route I use to go to school and back.

Now for my classes. My English class will be dull as dish water. I just know it. My Sociology class seems like fun, but my teacher will put me off to food entirely. She's having us read a book called "Food Inc." and she is very into organic food so she will make me put off to all food when this ends. My math teacher is nice, but alot of our work is online. Which is rather annoying to me. And my Art History teacher seems to be very into blabbering about her own experiences seeing art in her personal life.

So yeah, college is just as dull as high school but the people seem alot cooler.

The first of August is my college orientation. I'm glad to be starting already. I just had a really bad high school experience. And I'm glad to be starting something different.

I got my yearbook yesterday. It was overall very surreal being in my high school again. It was clean, empty, as though no one had ever even been in there. Looking at all the other senior portraits made me jealous. The woman who did mine, didn't do mine well. And also when we had to do a senior write up the jerks at the yearbook staff altered mine. I said "I'd like to thank my parents and all my friends I have been lucky enough to know" and those pricks wrote "lucky" in all caps! So it just makes me look like I was desparate or something.

On another note. I've never been much of the anime fan who felt the need to get into other Japanese things. But for some reason I decided to look up some J-Rock music on youtube. And there are songs and bands I actually like. Dir en Grey I had only heard about, but listening to their songs is really great. I love how they change up their sound.

On Tuesday I saw "Ponyo". It was a cute movie. It had enjoyable moments (like how Ponyo was obssessed about eating ham) And Miyazaki chose to not do any CGI animation, which I can respect him for.

However, the end was not what I hoped it would be. About half way through the movie they throw you and make you almost want to say "Did I miss anything?" Plus Sousuke's father may as well not have been in the movie. The dynamic he has with his mother, and the whole story for that matter, would have still been the same without him. So that felt unnecessary. And Ponyo's mother being so okay with her wanting to be human while her father was upset seemed weird. I didn't get why she was happy her daughter wanted to leave them. Maybe because they have a million little sisters of Ponyo!

The animation was good, "Howl's Moving Castle" had better though. With the 4 to 5 years he's had since "Howl" I expected the most incredible thing he's made. It was a bit of a let down, the animation was sub par.

The characters were great though. Ponyo was really silly. Sousuke was a likeable child, but him being 5 made certain things (like his mom letting him be home alone) rather weird. Ponyo's father was really cool, I liked how he looked. Sousuke's mom was only weird for how she treated her son (giving him too much responsibility) and the fact that she believed Ponyo was a fish who became a child.

Essentially I'll say this. "Ponyo" is a really good movie. I didn't like how confusing it got and that the end was a little rushed. The animation wasn't as great as it could and should have been. But he had great moments in it and I do recommend people see it. I just won't want to see it as much as "Kiki's Delivery Service".

But that's my personal opinion, if anyone has seen it I'd like to know what you thought.

My scanner's working again!

And, I am now the owner of a 2003 black Ford Focus. I think the prior owner had a dog because the interior looks like it had been chewed on. My steering wheel included. Also Since it's hot out here, the black car is burning hot. Thank God it has air conditioning. I'm not sure where to take myself for my first solo drive. I may just take myself for ice cream, but I don't know. Since some people name their cars I'll probably name mine, but I'm not sure what to call it yet.

My computer is fixed! We just have to install the software for our scanner and my digital camera again, after that it will all be back to normal with this thing.

So last week the man who runs my driving school was able to get me to take my road test. And I was lucky because that accident I had was so recent that the computer had yet to register that it occurred. If I waited until this week I wouldn't have been able to take it. But I did and I passed. I just need to take "Skid School" and get the actual liscense. Right now I just have a stamped learner's permit which doubles as a liscence. Also tomorrow my mom is going to have me see a guy about a black car. He recently gave my sister a fairly used yellow car, so we may be getting the black one for me. It's scratched and aparently wasn't kept very clean by the old owner, but hey that's what air fresheners are for.

Now that I can drive I can go through with college. Not sure when, but soon I'll be going to buy my books. And now it will be alot easier to find myself a job. Hopefully I find a good one, the only places I don't want to work at are McDonalds and the local Big Y market.

In terms of the rest of my life I may have a shot at taking the road test for my liscence this week. Maybe. On Wednesday the man in charge submits the names of the eligable students into a computer and he thinks there is a chance it may allow me to take it despite the incident with that woman. Not 100% sure it will happen, I just hope it does.

My mom was willing to pay out of pocket to fix her scratched and slightly dented car. The woman even said she could drive it like this until the car eventually breaks down. But she decided to go through the insurance company rather than have my mom pay that way. This means that I will have this on my record for six years and won't be able to get my liscence for SIX MONTHS!

And I have classes in the fall. Or at least I was going to. Despite my mom explaining that to the woman she doesn't care. She couldn't care less about how I need to drive a car to get to and from my college. She suggested car pooling, but there is no such thing available to me. So because she has to go through the insurance company (FOR A SMALL DENT THE SIZE OF A PEACH AND SCRATCHES) I can't attend college in the fall.

And life just gets better from there. The woman had the nerve to suggest to my mom that I bumped into her because I was changing the radio, which I wasn't. Then she brings up the irrelevant fact that her daughter is paying for the driving classes herself and that when she'll bring her car in the shop (for only a few days) that will "complicate her daughter going to her job".

So now after all the hard work I have done with driving, I won't get the liscence for half a year. And I finished all of my lessons. Also with me not possibly attending college the most sensible thing to do is find a job. But I can't do that either. In order for me to get a job I'll need to drive to it.

I'm now stuck where I'm at in my life. All because of a stupid woman.

I've been doing alot of thinking in other places. I have been developing new ideas for drawings. I have been getting more interested in "Katekyo Hitman Reborn!" mainly because my sister got the DVD of the first 13 episodes this week. I have also been growing more interested in American comics, after reading "Watchmen" its refreshing.

I have also been feeling alot of doubt over my second account. Almost like it's not going to go anywhere. I feel like I should have just posted that work here. If anyone has advice as to whether or not I should move that all here speak up. I need advice.

Tomorrow is my graduation.

Yesterday was my first driving lesson on a highway.

I bought "The Film Companion: WATCHMEN" today, so now I can stare at how epically amazing Jeffrey Dean Morgan looks as the Comedian all day!

I also saw "Up" this week. Such a cute little movie. It does have sad moments. But the dogs make it so much better! I love how they talk! And Dug says maybe the best joke about squirrles ever! "Want to hear a joke? A squirrle walks up to an oak tree and says 'I forgot to store nuts for winter and now I am dead!' It is funny because the squirrle is dead!"

High school did, however, open me up to things that were positive for me. It helped me realize what I want to do in terms of drawing. And I discovered new things to get into. So despite the hell that did go down, it wasn't a total loss.

It rained all this week. Toay during my driving lesson the sun came out. I know this is going to sound beyond stupid, but it almost felt like the beginning of a better point in my life. High school is history now, and its a surreal feeling. I hated middle school, was beyond thrilled to graduate because I only had bad memories. But with high school I am thrilled, but not as much as back then. Its as though for every negative association with high school, there is still something rather good. I'm not too sure how to word it. I hated my classes, my teachers humiliated me on several occasions, students treated me like shit, and yet I feel rather mixed up about leaving.

I think I'll miss it, maybe.

Oh my God! Anime Boston was so much fun this year! Less people than last year, but I think there were better cosplays and such.

Lets see how my day went! I was on a train with my sister

, and her boyfriend. When we got off I smashed my head on the compartment for luggage! It hurt! But it didn't serve as a sign of how my day was going to go! We had pre-ordered our tickets, so no line for me this year. It was straight to the dealers room. I ended up buying:
-"Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" fanbook for the second half
-"TTGL" chibi figures of Kamina, Simon, Nia (timeskip), Gimmy's Gunmen, and Kiyal (they were a blind box, then after buying three I found a woman with a stand that let you choose the figures and I got Simon and Kamina)
-a cell phone strap of Simon's drill (I have no phone, but can turn it into a necklace)
-a blind box chibi keychain of Kamina and Simon (I opened them up and shouted "SO CUTE!")

Much like last year I didn't expect myself to only buy merchandise for one series. But I'm happy with what I got. There was an artbook though and I couldn't afford it. But I might be able to order it offline.

We ate at the Cheesecake Factory where I ate pizza and a coconut creme cheesecake (yummy!).

I don't have school no more! Yay! Well, okay, I have finals next week. And graduation the 6th of June, but then I am done with high school!

And tomorrow is Anime Boston. I can't wait, I am so damn thrilled! I actually am not cosplaying this year. Like last year I made a sign devoted to L for cosplayers of him to sign. Hopefully I will get more this year. Sunday I'll post a journal about it. So see you then!

I had a shitty road lesson yesterday! I was so pissed off because the instructor was being annoying. I was just turning in a parking lot. I wanted to get on the damn road, and even that wasn't a pleasure with him. He was bad at giving me directions.

In TV news, "America's Next Top Model" should be changed to "America's Next Spoon-Fed Alien Faced Bitch". Teyona won, the worst part of that is KNOWING she was going to win. She had some good shots, but plenty of bad ones and Tyra was just so in love with her she made them seem like gold. Teyona was really annoying and full of herself, the thing that sucks is she's not even beautiful: [link] . And my girl Allison was runner up to her! Allison was adorable and a great person and an even better model: [link] . Allison was great on their final runway, considering her walk wasn't very good in the beginning, but somehow Teyona was deemed "better" (plus this week Teyona was in the bottom two while Alli got called first) But at least Allison has a better chance at succeeding than Alien Head.

In other news related to the idiot box, I watched "Superjail!" for the first time last weekend and I really liked it! Its hilarious, but has the trippiest opening I have ever seen. Adult Swim is very hit and miss with me, but this was a big hit! And I think my favorite thing about the Warden would be either his buggy eyes or gap toothed smile (for some reason I love that he has a gap).

also had me and my sister watch "Flapjack" and it was funny. I thought I'd hate the show, but its funny. And the crappy animation helps make it so awesome.

I also will be going to Anime Boston next week. So hopefully I'll buys some other figures to include in my Nendo Cuteness. And I hope to see some bitching cosplays!

I wanted to draw alot more over Spring break, but I was in Driver's Ed. the whole time. The room was freezing,the chairs were uncomfortable, the instructor didn't seem to be very nice (he suggested that boys naturally are better at driving), I was the oldest student, it was boring, the videos were graphic, and I passed with a 92! My mom has to take a class before I can do road tests though. Uggh, I hate baby stepping through things.

Next month is Anime Boston! Whoo! Got my ticket preordered, so no long line for me! I will be Nia from "Gurren Lagann", which reminds me I just need a skirt, felt, and spray to complete the transition!

I really wanted to go to the movies or something this week. While I still have the chance I want to see "WATCHMEN" again. And I think "Observe and Report" looks really funny because I love Seth Rogan.

To just fill people in on whatever the hell I'm up to: I fucking love "WATCHMEN" I saw it opening day and read it, both were superb! I am starting to get into "Hellsing", I bought episodes 1-13 yesterday. I'm trying to still use fashion photography as inspiration for my work, so far I think I'm doing well. I am still into "Gurren Lagann" and "Soul Eater", I'm trying to focus on those.

Its not the worst thing ever. Its just that I thought with the fact that my "Gurren Lagann" work that I put so much effort into (that I deleted and need to upload again...) doesn't get any feedback. I suppose I can just hope that this year they will get feedback from people watching me and people who, hopefully, will watch me.

Now just to clear the air over this. I have not abandonded "Death Note". But much of what I'll be updating will be "Gurren Lagann" fanart. And I also must add that I have an interest in fashion that I'll be exploring more in my fanart (some of my newer stuff will be inspired by a magazine spread or an "America's Next Top Model" shoot)I just wanted people to get an idea of what I'll be doing from here on out.

The trees within my hometown are completely ruined and bent out of shape. The trees in my backyard were either destroyed or curved over (like something out of "Nightmare Before Christmas") The powerlines were knocked down and destroyed. Our fence is ruined and we had to take photos for the insurance company (boy they are quite a sight!) And the roads were just a complete mess.

We had absolutely no power in my house since 5:00 last night. We still don't have cable, Charter has to fix the damage. My family was lucky to have an old battery powered radio and a woodstove. So we had SOME heat. But the rest of our house was so damn cold. We had to eat all of our dinners by candle and flashlights. Most meals had to be grilled and my dad used up one of our propane tanks within the first day.

My grandparents stayed on Saturday and Sunday. Luckily for them they got their power back before we did. In order for us to get clean we had to fill a pot with water from our sink (we had running water, but with no heat) and heat it on our woodstove. Then we had to give ourselves sponge bathes. I never want to do something like that again!

While all this was going on my only means of entertainment were "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (even though the book is slow death to read!) and my walkman either spouting Christmas jingles or my CDs. And on Monday my sister and I went out to see "Bolt", it was cute and in total 4 people were watching it. Plus I have the rest of the week off from school, which I've never had happen before.

I just really wanted to fill people in on where the hell I've been at. And I can't believe we have one week until Christmas!

In school news, my project in Eastern Lit is comming along well. I chose "Howl's Moving Castle" for my poster. I don't have the idea completely together, but I know I'm drawing Howl as he appears in the beginning. Also in school news, I officially hate still lives and have a talent for etching osprey in tin.

I started watching episodes of an '03 Japanese show called "Stand Up!!". Its so funny. I like all of the guys, but I could do without Shouhei loving his teacher that much. Mainly I got into the show because I am a big fan of the actor Hiroki Narimiya, he's just so cute!

I'm also getting into that Christmas mood now. I actually spent the last 4 days watching ABC Family's the 25 Days of Christmas!
All we need is snow.

Well my Thanksgiving went really well. I stayed home and had dinner with my sister and parents, it was just relaxing despite the fact that earlier that day I was doing a paper on Sigmund Freud (wish me luck in presenting THAT topic to my Psychology class!) I'd like to hear what other people were up to.

My game in "Pokemon Pearl" is finally going somewhere, I got the fifth gym badge yesterday. But I really hate the rival in that game, he's annoying. Now I want to watch the show again!

I have chosen my three directors for my Eastern Lit class! They are Akira Kurosawa, Takashi Miike, and (damn I'm such a sell-out!) Hayao Miyazaki. I wanted to do Katsuhiro Otomo or Satoshi Kon for anime directors, but their movies are too hard to get my hands on. I could use some help in comming up with what Miyazaki movie to make a poster from so I'm open for suggestions.

Not to make this a depressing journal I shall talk about my game of "Pokemon Pearl". Its really good, but harder than the other games. I have been playing since Friday and I only have 2 badges! But I have good pokemon (all level 21): my Grotle is named Simon, my Meditite is named Kittan, my Luxio is named Nia, and my Pachirisu is named Hotaru (the only non "TTGL" name!). And I'm still waiting for something awesome so I can name it Kamina!

...MORE COWBELL! I love that sketch!

I really have been sick this week. Started with an intense sore throat, now I still have that in addition to congestion. So I have been taking NyQuil each night (just so my friends don't worry I wasn't OD-ing on it!) And each morning my school friends saw a slight glimmer of my 3 second delay and physical-mental disconnect! (by that time of day it wore off, therefore wasn't severe) But seriously, that's the best way for me to describe the sensation it gives me!

I've also gotten around to watching the bonus features on "Ichi the Killer". I must say Takashi Miike looks and acts just like I thought he would! And there were more makeup affects in that movie than I thought. Oh too bad I can't bring it to school! But if some people were disturbed by "Battle Royale" then they won't get through "Ichi the Killer".

Also my friends are doing this new thing where we choose what Pokemon we want to be in a comic, I am Girafarig! I love its tail! And I also love Dark-Psychic types. (NOTE TO HEATHER: Josh should still be Butterfree!)

MY SCANNER IS FIXED! LET MORE DRAWINGS PILE IN!

So I have "Ichi the Killer" (amazing movie!) And I know I have some friends who want to see it, but I don't think the Anime Club would allow a movie like that. Even though they allowed "Battle Royale", "Ichi" is something else. There's sex, nudity, Ichi actually "get's off" to the violence (I hope I don't need to elaborate more to help you understand) Just a personal predicament because I don't want to loan this out. Also apparently I can't bring in the live action movies! Because people have been trying to stomp that idea! But if I bring one in during their Mixed Media day nobody will want to watch them!

As far as things at school are concerned, I am very unsure how I'll get through a project on Sigmund Freud! How the hell am I going to present THAT kind of information? I clearly didn't think that through when I chose him as my topic. By the way, this journal title is a Freudian reference (not a slip, a reference).

So things are going well for me. I am still working on my Eastern Lit project on Japanese movies. What sucks is I have to choose only 3 directors to study. So far I have Akira Kurosawa (I won't allow myself to not research him) and Takashi Miike (psycho with a camera, thanks for "Audition"). I don't know about the third one it is between Katsuhiro Otomo ("Akira", "Steamboy", "Memories") and Nagisa Oshima ("Taboo", "In the Realm of the Senses"). Either way I need to buy 3 movies for this: "Ichi The Killer" (psychotic yakuza), "Big Bang Love, Juvenile A" (men in prison), and "Taboo" (gay samurai). It will take a while before I can say I have all of them.

So at school the Anime Club is apparently on the brink of destruction. And I had nothing to do with it! Some kid, we'll call him, (I'm throwing out a random name) Chad made some huge scene this week when they were watching "Hell Girl". Chad was banging on a file cabinet to counteract everyone talking while the anime was playing. Even though half the club is about sharing your opinions as whatever you watch plays. Its not a big deal that they talk through it. I didn't mind it. But banging on a file cabinet? That's just nuts. I myself was not there, I might not remember the story fully, but I'm telling what I remember being told. He also got the president and co-president in trouble by saying they let it get out of hand. And they had to cancel this week's meeting because Chad told the principle that they never have a monitor. They do have a monitor, she stays for their discussions then leaves once they chose what to watch. But thanks to some freak they have more problems than necessary. To my school friends on here, let me know if I forgot anything important to this story.

Hey.

I'll get worthless info out of the way. I have discovered my makeup brands of choice. For eyeliner and mascara I use Maybelline. For my lips I have fallen in love with Rimmel. I had to make a diagram of the human brain for Psychology, it sucked! But now I know the function of the Temporal Lobe (yay?)

I beat "Astro Boy: the Omega Factor"! Black Jack is as awesome as ever! But I hate how its like "Hey you found Pinoko! Now fight a Robiod that kills with 2 moves!" Of coarse that's not the last boss. But I was sad in the end. I really thought Astro was going to die (that would have SUCKED!). But it ended up being a heartwarming moment with Tobio and Tenma! It was sweet, but every character didn't need to say "ASTRO!" before that!

School was confusing today. People are having problems with eachother and I don't even know why they do. Some lies are clearly being thrown out, but I try not to get too involved. Also apparently nobody is throwing a Halloween party. Just dissapointing because I never have anything to do for Halloween. But I can't throw a party at my house on such short notice.

Tuesday was my senior photos (whoo...hoo). The photographer was a very funny, very butch woman. She kept threatening to chuck her camera at me if I fake smiled!

Yesterday I saw "Death Note II: The Last Name" in theaters. I ended up eating at Red Robin (yum...) and being served by a friendly gay guy named Jesse (lots of gay people this week!) YES, I already have half the movie memorised. YES, the dubbing is bad. BUT it is always fun seeing Ken'Ichi Matsuyama's sexy face on a big screen! Poor Tatsuya Fujiwara, you really uglied yourself up for these movies (NEVER dye your hair again!). Seriously, he's an attractive guy, but he looked like a mess as Light, but the performace was good enough. Even though the dubbing clouds the performances. But no matter what Erika Toda proved that she fails as an actress!

School is going fine. It isn't so much me having spats with people, but that they are having spats with eachother. Funny how that happens. Its getting kind of hard to keep up with!

And it was everything I hoped it would be! I can't wait for volume 2. I also fear and hope that they dub the anime. The hope is that I could own it. The fear is the potential of it being dubbed bad.

I promised myself I would finish my Painting I assigment by the end of the week and I did! Yay! As far as people are concerned there isn't much to report on except that I now know a good fragrence for this guy a know: Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink! (long story...)

I still don't have "Black Jack". The "Dororo" movie still isn't out. I felt sick. And I spent the whole time worrying about my Eastern Lit. project. The "Bleach" fillers are as boring as ever. The FINALLY got somewhere in "FMA", but they took it off the lineup for this week!

On the positives my sister and I watched "FF: Advent Children". Plot: Two Thumbs Down! Look: Two thumbs up! Seriously, the graphics and animation over shadowed a bland storyline. Who gave a crap about Kadaj anyway!? Even though the dub is wicked good, Cait Sith sounded ridiculous. Since when is he Scottish lassies? I still don't plan on playing "VII" though. I just see myself giving up in the game and I also think I'd suck at it.

Things at school just seem to be too much for me right now. I like how if I walk away from something rather than make it into something bigger than it is I'm cowardly. Absolutely no one is on my side either, and this is just such a stupid stiuation. And everyone there MUST know what happened, I can't have any privacy. I feel like screaming!

I finished my Psychology project. In the end boys and girls equally said a conventional looking blondie is prettier than an edgier, more interesting looking girl.

This Tuesday something good did happen. IFC (Independant Film Channel) finally aired the anime "Hell Girl". It was amazing, I love the animation and the English dub is actually good! Every since they first announced playing it I have wanted to see it, but they first mentioned it in July. At long last they play it!

Things at school are okay, I guess. I still think I need to meet new people. Too bad I'm shy around new people. Go figure.

Enough about me tripping of cold meds. I am kind of sad. Why? My "Black Jack" hasn't come in!!!! I WANT MY "BLACK JACK"!!!! I have to read it! And when I get it I'll probably pose like Teru when he first held the Death Note.

Also I wanted to mention my Psychology assignment. We have to do surveys and most are doing things like smoking, driving, studying. I'm doing the teenage perception of beauty! Yes! I am doing an entire experiment all about what people my age think is pretty because I think kids my age have such a one minded view of appearence. I think its a good idea!
