Just letting everyone know Im not dead. Ive just really been mainly busy with work and what-not. I didnt even put a Christmas journal up this year. ;.; But yes. Im still alive, and I still lurk on DA. I'll put up artwork as I do it. Im just real bad at remembering to update this journal.

Alrighty, alot of people said the link in the original deviation for the patch to the Demon Wolves isnt working? Well, just to check, does this work for anyone?

If not, I'll find somewhere else to upload it. Also, do remember if you use this patch, even though I didnt create it, I *DID* pay for it, so the rights to it are mine. And I still want credit added that the patch belongs to me, I only made this patch free because this bitch made it free when she knew she wasnt supposed to. Thats what friends are for I suppose.

So yeah, feel free to use it however you want, just dont forget to put a notice that the patch belongs to me in a credit file or anything else. If you wish to put more credit to the actual creators of the patch, ~HellfiresFury finished coloring them.

Yeah Im still alive. Been sorta addicted to this movie website the last couple of days. Anyone remember those old time cartoons that werent for kids, but still had decent story lines and animation and what-not? And Im not talking about pansy disney stuff, or anime either. Heh.

Well anyways, found a movie that I particulary liked. About cats, animated, bad language, ect. lol.

I was glad to see that there was a good number of people that actually agreed with me with my last journal. Im glad I am not the only one who sees the way I do about things. And since there was a good deal of people who answered the journal themselves I'll just say 'danke right here. So yeah, thanks for the support, made me feel a bit better. <3

I really should start working on my own art again, Ive been pretty "blah" and anything Ive came up with recently, so I havent done much. I should really start doing ports again. I had fun helping with the Shy one I submitted a little while ago. I miss pixels.

Kinda the reason I havent been updating this journal is because of something that has been bothering me for awhile. And it has to do with artists that take on commissions ingeneral. So I give you the warning before you read any further. Your are going to get offended more then likely. But its my journal, and Ive been putting off this rant for awhile only to let it bother me even worse. So yeah. Gonna get it out. Here comes the spelling errors.

I have had shit-ass luck with commissions lately. Not people commissioning me, but commissioning other people. And its got to the point where I am almost considering not commissioning anyone ever again. (Except for the select few that have been total sweethearts and professionals.) Lets check the list..

First, there is the people that I have had paid for commissions for well over 6+ months now and barely have any contact with them. Maybe because its because I havent tried myself, but the few times I have only to ask and end up feeling bad that I keep bothering them. I dont like pestering someone for artwork to be finished. Its just plain rude on my part. But I have found it also makes it where the artwork just does not get done either. And when its been well over 6+ months and for even some, years, I get to the point where either I got to stand up and be a bitch to people I dont think deserve that attitude, or continue to wait. Basically I wouldnt have commissioned someone who didnt intend on doing the artwork any time soon. Im all for being patient, I dont mind being patient at all. It gives the artist time to do the work at a pace they choose and the artwork is all the better for it....but then I am put in a position where the artwork is just not getting done, or getting done to half an ability while they finish up other commissions that I dont even know if they have taken these commissions on after me or before. I dont like feeling like the bitch commissioner. But I also dont like to feel like I am being given the run-around either. I understand everyone has a life, I understand things come up, but when things continue to come up, and hardly anything is ever being done, it just puts me in a horrible position. I dont want to be mean when I am saying this, this is just me letting out the frustration.

And then there are the commissioners who you ask them if they are willing to take on your commission, and then they agree. Offer to pay them up front (since alot of artists dont even take commissions without being paid upfront), only to be on their commission list for awhile, hold onto the payment for them to start, and then to wake up to find a notice in your box saying that they are canceling everything that hasnt already been paid for....again. I understand that life throws things up in the air and you got stuff you need to do other then finish commissions, but when you offer to pay them upfront and they say no only to be canceled a month to two months down the road....its annoying. Shit happens, but it still isnt very professional in my eyes. You cant just do stuff like that with a real job, to make someone stay on hold for a long time just to call them up and say "Hey. I dont want to do this anymore." Yeah, that stuff just doesnt fly. Again, I cant help it if shit happens in your life, or you just dont want to do the work anymore, but I dont like sitting back and saying "Well thats okay." either. Its highly annoying.

And another one, who you wait again, months, to finish a commission. And when they finally do after you contact them only to have the piece of work done to what you believe is half of the artists ability. I can understand if something doesnt look right or something is a tad wrong with the piece and you ask the artist about it. But when an artist opens up and tells me "Yeah its not my best work." straight to my face....what the fuck? No offense, but I am PAYING you for this. Im not paying for half-done work that is not to the best of your ability. Im not rushing anyone to finish anything, I have always been extremely patient with everyone I have commissioned, but when I wait well over 3 months for something to be finished I would like for the piece to be at least somewhat to the artists ability that I commissioned for in the first place. Thats why I give artists time, so they can work at their own pace. But having to wait for quality that even the ARTIST themselves say is not good....yeah. Thats unprofessional too. And then also to never have this artist contact you again after that when they said they would continue to work on it....just tell me you dont want to do the commission anymore. Yeah I am still going to be annoyed. But I am not going to be left hanging either.
