in other news i just went out and bought a new set of knifes for school there pretty awesome i bought: a 10" chef knife, a 8" boning knife, and a 3 inch bird beak paring knife. all of which are shun classic's. i also bought a new bag for them and edge guards
it was a lot of money but worth it because with care these will last a lifetime.


cant wait to go back to school (shocked i said that)... im going full time and i have almost all lab classes so lots of time in the kitchen its pretty exciting lol

also we all were wearing matching shirts lol well kinda .. we all were wearing diffrent house shirts.. i was Ravenclaw my pal chris was slytherin his GF was hufflepuff and my friend erik was gryfindor
which is funny cause it wasnt the first time we did somthing like that.. at universal studios we wenn to the darkhorse comic shop in the universal city walk and we all bought diffrent lantern core shirts lol i was sinestro corp, my friend chris was green lantern corp his GF was sapphire star, and my friend kyle was of the red lantern corp. i love doing that kinda thing lol

apart from that um... COMICON is next week and im so excited ~i just cant hide it, im about to lose control and i think i like it~

family dinner was really good i went to a sushi restaurant and we all got a sushi boat, it was a pretty big boat filled with tons of assorted rolls and sashimi, so delectable... and my mom started a chain reaction happy birthday song that got every one singing in the restaurant, it was kind of embarrassing. then we all went for frozen yogurt, and mine was free... but only cause work there hehehe
but today was pretty good...

and to top it off Wednesday starts a 5 day road trip with friends to a coupple diffrent theme parks its going to be pretty fun

then 2 weeks after that starts COMICON
and i can not wait its going to be amazing

i enjoy painting them i just wouldn't frame it.

well any who i cant wait for the trips i have planned.. i need to get out of the house ... sitting at my desk day after day is slowly killing my spirit.

im almost sure that i want it to be a pretty cool pick of a B Monster movie creature ... so if that were the rout i was going to go im not sure which creature to choose, after all there are a lot.
i kinda wanted to do the Swamp Thing..

but if you guys had any other idea id really love to hear it ..
who knows maybe it wont even be a monster it could be any thing.
all i know is i want it to be a good end to this particular pad of paper.

dont get me wrong i have lots more paper .. in fact i just got a new pad like a couple weeks ago, indecently it was cheaper then this current one.. and it was of the same size and quality ... but it had more paper.. i think im going to shop at Blick they are much cheaper
the pends and paper were significantly cheaper
but i digress

i guess to start im pretty happy that school is out and i get to relax and start drawing a lot more maybe even push my self to finish my calendar, which has really begone to be the thorn in my side.. not cause i dont enjoy doing it cause the drawing part is easy (hold out hand, insert pencil, move hand) its the coloring process that im less than enthused about .. its really much a pain [literally] but you have all heard me complain enough about that.
but thats the reason i have like 5 pages of my calendar unsubmitted
cause all thats left is the coloring

but i only get a short break be fore im back in school on the 16th
to take advantage of some extra units that are offered in the summer so i will only be a 6 week course rather then a 16 week course had i waited till fall... but its all good, its only Tuesdays ant Thursdays

shortly after school starts its BIRTHDAY , my 19th to be exact im not sure of the significants of this but this is my freaking page so deal with it hahahah

then im going a theme park road trip soo going to hit up knotts then universal then six flag for 2 days thats goign to be a blast

then......
Its COMICON time im super freaking giddy about that one
i love it theres its like my second home... thats too crowded to walk 5 feet...and lines lines lines-o-rama
but hopefully this year i wont be there by my self
cause last year as fun as it was ... was also a drag cause my friends all bailed and i was left to wonder those halls alone
on the plus side it was easier to get around.. on the down side it does get lonely not being able to geek out with friends

but i guess what im gettign at is i need help with some ideas for the following months: march,july,August

i kinda have an idea for august but its not really set in stone
other then that all i have left is the awesome months that have east/ amazingly festive themes themes like October November December lol and for September i think i might make it school related... cause a lot of people return to school that time... even though mine stars in August.

there needs to be a holiday in every month ,one that every one celebrates so its not only for religious or certain cultural groups basically an excuse to take the day off work and kick back... and have it nation wide and place them in the months with nothing going on like may or august ... maybe im just daft

by the way while i sat here and talked about it i realized 4th of July can be the theme of July , who would have ever though lol
but im going to keep thinking, i was also thinking comicon for July and having the zombot maybe dress up as a transformer in a super crowded convention hall, which i think might be better then just fireworks and beach

o and im also thinking of redoing April [Easter]
for som reason im a little less then pleased with it i figure at leas redoing the robot but i might leave it to a poll

Although I traditionally sketch and ink my pictures, I also use Photoshop to color my work.

So pretty much ill take any request you throw at me with in reason.
I am not going to separate prices by “Head shots, Waist up, Full body, ect.”
It’s going to be a flat rate for anything you request

and i woke up in lots of pain for natural soreness and my injures...
my knee was in soooo much pain it hurt to bend it every time i sat down and stood up (there was a big bruise on it too)... for some reason i could walk fine... but that day i also had work, and where i work there was a lot of walking around up and down ramps.. as much as i love working there (even thought yesterday was my first real shift) i was in too much pain to really enjoy it as much as i do..
then the next day (today) early in the morning i had volunteer work at a local cooking school ( i really love volunteering there, its lots of fun. the classes are very entertaining and i love being a part of them) but still lots of standing
and latter in the day (aka 20 mins ago) was bending down to pick up some laundry in the laundry room and my mom nudged me and my head caught the corner of the coin slot to start the dryers ... and omg that really really hurt....
and 5 mins after ... im watching TV coping with my pain... and my sister yells from the kitchen something about goofy so i look back and its a little Disney goofy plush from a cereal box... so Goofy being my fav Disney character, i ask to see it and just messing around i took it and ran through the house with it... and on my way to my room i trip on a cable .. but not to the point where i fell ... it just caught my foot... but after i gave the plush back i was walking and i looked down at my food and there was already a huge bruise and swollen on the top of my foot.. and it really hurts...
this isnt me trying to complain... and if this would have been Friday it would have been me concluding an amazing week of mine and my snowboarding trip and my excitement of my first shift at my new/ first job and my awesome volunteer work...
but i accumulated so many injuries in such a short time i felt that that was also important to state... so yeah equal...-ish parts of good and bad that happened this week

o and i also for got mt mention school this week was pretty awesome ...i was on saute station in my culinary lab class... and it was pretty fun and entertaining ... but Thursday got super busy and i got ripped of saute and but on serving it was hectic but i really love that class its just so much fun....

any who i had an amazing and exciting time going through my series of unfortunate events
and through it all i had a smile on my face

im not quite sure why exactley
im just i have a vague idea but none that i can pin it on
ive also bee super nervous .. tomorrow i have a test in one of my classes but im not too worried about that.. but after that test i have to go to my work and see if im either Hired or fired...
im still in training and i have to memorize a briefing or im cut
and im stressing it a little...
but good new my head aches are back...
ok its not good news but i felt like at least having the words "good news" might balance all the bad sort...
but yeah my headaches suck they last for days or weeks and this time there is an added bonus .. ive been getting slightly dizzy with these headaches...
i hope its from all the stress iv been under... cause id hate for it to be caused by something serious...
idk after tomorrow will be the real deciding factor...
i just want to take tomorrow as it comes...
but well see may be it wont be so bad..
i have an act for worrying sometimes
but im just tired of falling on my ass when i try to hit the ground running...
but yeah thus concludes this little rant ...

by the way im a a little behind in my art
..well not really i have a couple months ... but im not where id like to be on my calender ... schools been keeping me busy.. but i need to quit messing around and get it done
i also need to ink my current colab or as much as it as i can ..
but i can get that done pretty soon...

so any way the week started off good i got all my classes first try and paid for with out having to crash i got my books a coupple weeks before the school started and i thought i was all set.
but to my surprise one of my culinary classes is a lab class which meant id be in the kitchen and iv been excited about that. the down side is that it had some additional fees such as chef uniforms and knife sets but i took care of those and that was pretty cool ... any who i am having a lot of fun in all my classes although ill be exhausted Wednesday cause i have classes till 10 at night..
but in addition to school going well i got called for a job i applied for back in December, which is ultrazone its a laser tag place close to my house, and i after 2 interviews i got called today and they said they decided to hire me , i cant wait to start
so this past 2 months have been extremely well to me
and i hope it continues along this path

as it is i have one that i got at comicon that i love, it was one that was made but that company.. coral i think it is... any who there the ones who produced the "Painter X" program.
[pretty nifty program BTW].. anyway the calender is full of different styles of art made by various artist using that program.. but all good things must come to an end, and mine ends this year ... but i digress...

so tell me what you think of the idea.
and would any of the small few that like my art, be interested in owning a zombot calender?

I went to my local art store a day ago and,
I got new paper and 2 new pencils [HB,2B] ... and a micron ink pen [Micron]. Im all set i even indulged in a new blue photo pencil

i think im going to push this calender due date back a bit, i thinking next summer
i thinking of making it a 16 month calender from September 2009 to December 2010
that way you get the last 4 months of 2009 and all of the next year and my reason for September being the starting month is be cause thats when most schools start and it seems like a perfect time to start getting organized,
further more it gives me a lot more time to get working on my project and still have time for school cause after all theres only another month till the new year and im not saying it can be done how ever its a lot to do in 5 weeks
how ever its a sure thing that im am doing this i already have people asking for it so im getting started now.

from animaniacs. an i have a week to do it.. i only started trying today and i have 5 days left
im super determined to do this. but im having the hardest time memorizing it. i ll get one verse memorized then then i try again and as soon as i get it down i start forgetting it. its like 2 steps forward and 1 step back.

Well this summer has been pretty awesome
first off i turned 18 so that was awesome,
i went to comicon for my forth year and even though all my friends bailed on me it was still really fun going on my own.(one major perk)its easier to fight a crowd with out a group, could go where ever i wanted with out complaints and best of all lunch out side on the upper level of the comicon was really peaceful.. i had lots of fun there and i have some pic on my myspace of my experiences.. my link is on my page... but for you lazy kids out there [ [link] ]
o and im almost done with school so im super excited .. i want to get my culinary school going.
and on Friday im going to palm springs..[ not a fan.. but its with family so you gotta love it lol.
o and the best news of all ... my teachers out for a conference so no school this week. so maybe there might be a lot more art from me. who knows, as it is i finally beat my drawing block so i cant wait to see what i do next..
