We have been having gigs here and there. of course, you can't win everything. you win some, you lose some. as always, i am pretty much excited on the next projects we were able to get: a limited edition shoe line, a limited edition designer packaging, a collaboration with a manufacturer (we'll be doing pillows, bags, beanbags, etc. izzgonnabebig!), talks at podium, an artfair at cubao expo, dami.. so yun. big big.

i'm also doing stuff for my other baby (vectorcritter.multiply.com) so expect more critters in the following months.

i recently acquired a dslr (nikon d60)and got a new flash and a 50mm lens. so im pretty much addicted to shooting now. "phototrip tayo? gusto nyo? tara tara. kahit malapit lang."

and i still have a dayjob. haha.

and i am still open to do collabs.. tara game.

i'd like to keep my brain running. keeps the emo-ness on hold. haha.

Lyndon Gregorio will facilitate the initial workshop on November 18. The culminating activity will be an exhibition of the works by the participants on January 28, 2007 at the Future Prospects Art Space.

Workshops are free but participants are required to bring their own drawing materials (sketchpad/ paper, colored pens and pencils and, other coloring materials). Only fifteen slots are available per session, thus, interested workshop participants are encouraged to call and register their attendance on or before Friday, November 17.

I want to have an exhibt there. Setting up an exhibit is a lot of work not to mention the financial aspect of it. You have to get ur stuff mounted or framed. You also need to get some advertising around. So next year hopefully, i'll have a show there.. hopefully.

Anyway, i had lunch with my lovely lovely sexy corporate girlfriend. Clients paid for the designs. The company I was hoping to get in finally called. Another company had set up a meeting for next week. I saw my old friends. I got a new kurecolor "dawn grey" marker. I went to the mall. I had dinner with the family while watching Beethoven something.
I got a new comicbook, "Alternation". ITS ALL GOOD!

Anyway, I am doing new tekniks with my art.. I'm faster now technically, so I could give more time with the quality. But I have to stray from being too "ashley wood". hehehe...

I went to the mall yesterday. Browsed thru the magazines at Booksale and found a little gem of a publication called "Play"... Its actually a gaming magazine. The layout is really cool. I'm not really a gamer myself because most of the time i just do art. The mag was about tons of reviews of games, anime, movies and tech stuff... Oh did i mention the layout? Nice. How much was it you ask? I bought the May2003 issue for 45 pesosesoses....Sweet.

Its set 150 years in the future..Buhay pa si wolvie, kalaban si beast na may endless army of Nightcrawler/cyclops/multipleman hybrids... at nasa side nya pa si phoenix... man, can't wait fo the last issue.... Yesterday i went to this place where most comicbook(local) artists hang out. t'was way cool. a lot of inspiring work out there. i need to draw. damn. where is my clucth pencil? damn, tangina dinala ata ng daga. STUAAART!!!!

Well, its not operational yet... but i hope i get to finish it before the monday deadline. Damn, free url redirection. Some there is a discrepancy with these url forwarders and geocities....
