The contest was not to be judged on drawing skill, but on how clever one could be with pairing someone up with Ringo OTHER than Lee.

She blew my mind with this entry because I would have never been so creative as to think of a THREESOME hahaha The added story was also cute and made me smile. Congrats, you win 2 colored requests AND your pairing drawn by ME<3

SECOND PLACE Would have been ~BloodyEmi [link] Because both of their names have fruit, but unfortunately, she doesn't seem to be active anymore. So I chose ~squyd-tarts with [link] Who's reason was that Neji was Lee's rival, they always challenge each other in the field, but what happens when the field is the heart?

Anyway, on to stuff that's actually important...

So, as some of you may know, I have a list of ideas that I've had for years that reached over 200 ideas at one point because I was getting all these thoughts, writing them down, and then not drawing them =/
Finally, the list is at a measly 25 ideas.

The reason why I'm telling you guys this is that, once I finish this list, you won't see very much fanart out of me anymore. I've seen dozens of new anime and I never get ideas to draw fanart for it, so I think it's pretty safe to say I won't be drawing too much of it.
If I draw anything, it'll be original and submitted to my ~Bncabug account, so if you like my art, please watch that account. It may be dormant at the moment, but I'll start submitting very soon.

I mean, it's April so it's still a little chilly and rainy, but hell, it's awesome. Summer is only around the corner, YESSSSS<3

Second, for my spring vacation off from school, I took a train to New York to visit and finally hang out with my bff =ayuICHI for 5 days!!! What a trip! We did so many cool things, and most of which were first experiences for me, such as trying Takoyaki, bubble tea and Udon, and going to a club(Which wasn't exactly a good experience LOL) We made sticker pictures at this place called Toto's (As can be seen here [link] and [link] ) We did karaoke, at which I sang in Japanese<333 I bought a Rock Lee plushie FINALLY She taught me to knit, and we went shopping in Soho! Sooooooo many fun things :] Probably one of the best things I've done in my whole life, hahaha

Third, I FINALLY GOT A JOB YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! I work in the stock room at Aeropostale in the local mall 8 dollars an hour is pretty sweet, though I usually come home way too tired to do anything =/ I'm sure eventually once I get used to the work load, I'll be able to handle it better.

But yes, definitely trying to draw more for myself rather than for school (which is over in May<3), so keep an eye out

So damnit Naka, where the hell ya' been and how the hell are ya'?
Since you last saw me, I got my high school diploma HELL YES!! I was in a musical play called "Into The Woods" [link] (I'm the girl in the back in the red dress to the left)
And life seemed good, until I lost my internet....And basically lost touch with the ENTIRE WORLD.
The whole reason I've been gone for so many months was because I had no access to the internet, which sucked lots of balls, but there was nothing I could do about it.
On a good note, I finally turned 18, and yes, just in time to vote OBAMA in the elections (hell yeah), and I also got my inspirations back. I still have to scan and edit some stuff, and a few pieces to color as well, but I promise I will be flooding your inboxes very soon, oh goody :]
I started school again at a local community college called Housatonic just recently and I'm getting STRAIGHT A'S!! Who's the not-man-man?! ME

Also, super amazing story from the summer: So I'm at six flags in NJ walking around Hurrican Harbor with my family, getting ready to chill around the relaxation river, or whatever it's called, and I see this guy who has a bunch of AWESOME tattoos like all over his body, and it clicked in my head right away, this reminds me of =ayuICHI's dad who also had crazy tats all over the place(she showed me pics once) and right behind him I see none other than =ayuICHI herself! I was so excited!! We'd been dA/internet friends since we were like 13, and by chance I just run into her! The coolest thing to ever happen to me in my LIFE. (btw, this happened back in August 2008, but I didn't have a chance to post it =/)
All in all, I'm REALLY gonna try to knock out my to do list shit...AND OMG I MISSED MY OWN 30K KIRIBAN, WHAT THE FRICK!

SO! I've decided to switch things up a bit with a new RINGO AND WHO?? contest!

The idea is to pair Ringo up with anyone from Naruto EXEPT!! Lee!
Audience: GASP!!!!!!

Here's the catch, though: You need to have a REASON. It can't just be "SasuRin because you've drawn it before" or "ChouRin because Chouji doesn't get much love"
Take things from apperance (for instance, Ringo and Lee's representative colors are red and green, complimentary colors)
Or from personality (Ringo is quite fiesty, maybe a good match for Kiba? Maybe even a troublesome love for Shikamaru)
Life (Both Ringo and Sasuke have lost their parents and have family members out to kill them)
:bulletyellowast experiences (Make some up if you need to, they all went to the same academy, maybe even different missions she's been on)
Even jutsu!! (Ringo, Gaara and Naruto all have jutsu that alter their mind set and bring out almost a completely different person within them, for the two boys it's the jinchuuriki, for Rin it's Manakohari)

Rules?
1. Don't pair her with your OC please. I know it's tempting, but I'd rather see how others can pair her with actual characters, than a jubalee of fancharactersXfancharacters

2. Yuri IS allowed, so feel free to be creative with SakuRin, InoRin or even TemaRin

3. No hentai, yadda, you get it.

4. Multiple entries ARE allowed, however, you can NOT draw the same pairing more than once.

5. Don't copy my drawings. For insteance, don't redraw one of my RinLee pictures replacing Lee with another character.

The pictures will be judged by me, but not only how well they're drawn, but also how creative the pairing and reason is.
So if you just draw NaruRin because "hell, they're on the same team, lemme throw them together" I'll basically slam the buzzer on you XD

I HATE THEM!
I hate one word comments. For cried sakes!! Do you guys really think that "lol." is an appropriate comment to leave on a piece of art worked so hard on?!

Listen, I work hours upon hours on every single one of my pieces, EVERY SINGLE ONE!! Unless I specify otherwise.
WHY is it that I keep getting such cheap comments the harder I work?!
I don't care if you're on my specials list, that gives you NO EXCUSE!! As a matter of fact, if you're on my specials list, you should KNOW how much I hate them.

I sit day after day, deviation after deviation, comment after comment getting more and more angry from being given such unthought out comments. Why is it so hard to type up what you like about the picture?

"Kawaii!"
"That's good!"
Okay, what makes it such a "Nice" picture? Is it the color scheme? Poses? Expressions? The idea in itself? The way I drew it? The angle? Is it unique? Is it comedic? How about some critique?
NO. I never get any of this, with exception of a few VERY VERY nice people who actually take the time to type up some pretty sweet comments that, up until now, have kept me at bay. Thanks to you select few<3

Art is the way I express myself. Whether it's funny, sad, dramatic, happy, cutesy, mean, WHATEVER....I am expressing my visions, my ideas, my feelings, my VOICE.
Does anyone know how it feels to not be heard?! When people leave me shitty comments like that, it feels like they don't get me. Like they don't even know what's going on. They're just saying stuff because they feel obligated or they want to be nice.
