but something sad happened: our dear little cat Frodo got hit by a car and was badly hurt in the face, broken jaws, and his right eye might remain handicapped, but at least not completely blind. This happened 10 days ago, I found him bleeding in front of my door at midnight - I live in the third floor! Luckily, I have a good veterinarian and I´m a pretty good cat-nurse, too, and of course Frodo is very willing to get well again - he´s only about 18 months old, and such a character! The worst thing for him is now, that he can´t go outside. On the other hand, he´s "talking" and communicating a lot more.
But hestill has some hard times ahead, next friday he might get something like braces on his lower jaw, to adjust it, because it´s a little crooked which might bother him later in his life. i´m sure, he won´t like that too much, and it´s supposed to stay on him for five weeks....

Anyway, things are getting normal again, now that it´s clear that Frodo will overcome his accident in a rather good shape. So I hope to be able to submit some new stuff soon.

Thanks also for submitting all your great works, which I enjoyed very much.

But I´ll bet, they´ll tax and sell the air at the stockmarkets then - or at least try.

Instead, it was or is still prohibited to gather and store rainwater in Ecuador,Cochabamba, where water was privatised. Everybody has to buy all the water he needs from a private company, for 300 times the price than before.

There are unfortunately always enough idiots who enjoy carrying weapons, who protect those who impose these idiotic laws on us. Time to get free.

Although I´m actually not so much of a religious person, I was deeply touched by the feeling there, and especially the HAVAN, the great fire ceremony, was an enlightening experience. In this ceremony the earth is given back some of what she supplies so abundantly to us, flowers, fruit and specially prepared food is offered to her by burning it in the sacred fire. I´ve already worked on this subject in the digital category - Babaji by the sacred fire - now my latest deviation is again dedicated to Babaji. I´m still working on it, the submitted version is just "preliminary"....expect the next version soon.

Well, there was lots of music playing, singing and dancing, in a beautiful landscape, and it was like a collective lift of concious....and I´m still floating.

I guess anyone who paints or is involved in any kind of creative work knows that it´s not alltogether bliss and happiness you feel while doing it. I would like to suggest people to describe their working habits.

For me, the nighttime is the right time to do the really difficult parts - I´ve tried a million times to work in the daytime, but it´s just not the same. the muses turn up late at night . Maybe, because then everybody else is asleep, and there are no disturbing vibes of everyday life in the air. I think artists are having a damn hard time to exist in a time, where only "performance" counts - in the sense, that only money and the ability of making it counts.

Ok, this is the point of view of an old Hippie - nevertheless, Van Gogh sold only one painting in his lifetime. and now his works are worth millions. Not that this fact would bring him back to life, but to all of you out there: keep on creating your beautiful works, it will surely be appreciated sooner or later. Or in other dimensions.

I remember one of my first exhibitions, I had most of the paintings done on massive heavy particle boards and no car to transport them....after that I always used canvas when I could afford it.

Anyway, here´s a little story to illustrate my feelings towards this wonderful opportunity that dA provides:
I once had a "daydream", I was like a caterpillar digging my way through a dark tunnel, seeing and being aware of nothing, there was just a very faint feeling that I was not alone.
Suddenly the light was switched on, and I looked up and saw a vast system of tunnels, with many caterpillar creatures like me, all looking up and becoming aware of each other at the same time, all with a slightly stupid expression of complete astonishment on their faces - followed by a longer laughing attack.

So thanks to The Great Network for turning on the lights....
