The night before he escaped and we couldn't get him back in the house. He was an indoor cat and just went nuts with the freedom I guess. The next morning I found him in the back yard laying on my chair swing. His leg was completly broken and bloodied, I could see bone. He was alive but seriously hurt. It took forever to find an animal hospital that works on a Sunday. Finally we got him in and turns out his back leg was broken into two (it was being held together by skin and tendons) and his hip was cracked. There was also possibility of internal bleeding. I am a terrible sick person possibly because I hardly ever get sick. Most other peoples colds don't usually effect me. Sometimes even my wife will get sick and I won't get it.
But this time I wasn't spared. I was in bed for 5 days with every symptom you could image: Headache, terrible chills, fever, coughing, you name it I had it. I'm glad to say that I am finally feeling better but my energy level is soooo low. Somehow or another I have to get back to watching my kids and doing some artwork. Looks like a though week.

Our son, Elijah Luke Rosario came into the world weighing 7 pounds .07 ounces and measuring at 19 inches long. That's the good news. The bad news is that he had to be delivered by emergency C section, which was very scary. At the moment he is being watched in the intensive care unit because of breathing problems and feeding issues. But he has shown much improvement in the last four days and we are being told that he might get to go home soon. So in the meantime we are still at the hospital.
Sigh, I can't wait till we all get to go home.

While not very cooperative with pictures of his face he was graceful enough to show us what we needed to see. There's a little boy in there!
It's so cool to see him turning and moving around in there. I can't wait until I can feel him moving in my wives belly. That is such a cool experience!

So if you were having a baby (not that you are or have to) but just imagine you were, would you want to know the baby's gender ahead of time? Or would you prefer to be surprised in the delivery room?

He has been such a joy to my wife and I! Parenting does required a certain amount of maturity, just like being married, is not all about you. It's taken me a little over a year to get there. I'm not yet sure if I'm going to do a picture for it, probably so. But I'm a little ticked that when I refresh my own page the DA page view counter goes up by one. I though that was something that was corrected but now I'm wondering how many pageviews are just from me checking stuff out on my own page. I wanted an accurate count. Does anybody know if this is a bug that is being addressed or just something that we have to live with?

So I went on vacation this week to Wildwood NJ and I had a great time. Went to the beach, did some shopping, slept late and ate some great sea food! But the part that some of you might find interesting is that I finally got to visit the Frank Frazetta museum in East Stroudsburg, PA .
What an experience! Frank's work has defined modern fantasy illustration and inspired multiple generations of artists in the 20th and now in the 21st century (including myslef).
We arrived at the museum a half hour before closing (we drove from NJ to PA and the traffic was a bear), and we were the only people there. It's no joke. There's another artist out there who's name is also Nathan Rosario. It seems like this has caused a little bit of confussion. Well maybe confussion is not the right word since it seems that some people think we are one and the same. I'm kind off at a loss to know what to do. I would like to contact the other me and see if we can help each other out.
Whatever the case this does create a weird situation for me since potential clients could be judging weather to use me for assignments based on the other Nathan Rosario. First off I want to thank :devgh-mongo: :icongh-mongo: for getting me a month subscription to DevianART. That was very nice of him. And it was a great shoot in the arm since I have been feeling a bit discouraged concerning my artistics carrer.
