update on Cam's low poly model- I've got the body, arms and legs controllers attached, and after doing more bug testing with them, I'ma see if a can do it to his fingers and toes too to save me time animating them.

in other news: design for the Jazz costume is going well...but it's not practical yet...waiting on the human it's going on.

YAY. in two days i start a 3d modeling and animation class where i have to use 3ds Max (everything came in the mail fine), so while I continue practicing in Maya on my transformers, I'll be learning max too. and i'm hoping to practice in mudbox too (its like zbrush, but has the added disability of still working with polygons; came with max/maya and all the other stuff)

im still uploading videos to youtube because I never have all my video online at any given time. I proably have another good ten videos that can go up of playing on transformers. i don't think i have any of my uncharted 2 video on my computer, so that likely won't debut. been debating whether or not to do a walkthrough of Mirror's edge.

So, while i can't complete Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen The Game The Movie, if I can somehow contact djekmiami and get his Prime voice on my computer somehow then i can at least finish the first episode....

finished concepts of wyvern and hinder...blah blah blah.

Well, I suppose y'all read what happened Sunday the 25th at the Library's Halloween thing, so I'll skip forward to Friday the 30th.

That day I went to a POA office and dressed up there for several hours. I pretty much hung out in their entryway/waiting room for the customers and freaked out a lot of people that way, . It all started when I was just sitting down, taking a break (I can sit in costume picture in my gallery!) and some people came in to do their business. I didn't move 'cause I was sort of tired, then when they were leaving I guess they felt the need then to check me out, and I heard one lady ask, "Is it real?" and so I turned to look at her and she freaked out! XD And so for pretty much every person after that I stood still until the people alked past, then I would start moving and scared so many people because they thought I was a prop or a statue or something! HAHA!!!!!

One of the workers later got their nephew to come in at one point before I had to leave (I had to go to work like right as kids were gettting out of school and would have come in more, I'm a little sad about that), and he was a little dinosaur, and, poor thing, he was araid of me, D'aww. but his dad got him to stand next to me and we took pictures, because his older brother apparently loves Transformers.

Around that time I was also invited to go to an elementary school thing, but, because I couldn't get work off on such short notice, I couldn't make it!


That was all the dressing up I did on Friday.
On Saturday, All Hallows Eve, the 31st, I got to dress up again and we went to the mall!
My parents were awesome spotters as we were out and about there for app. and hour, and there were A LOT of people.
I saw about 5 Bumblebee's, 3 Megatron's, and one Prime, all movieverse, then one Animated Prime.
Almost everyone knew I was a Transformer, but I was also called: 1. Megatron 2. Starscream 3. Bumblebee 4. Optimus Prime, and about three people actually called me "Blackout," at least one was an adult (I heard him say it as he was walking past; his poor kids would't come near me), and another was a cool kid who I wish I would've talked to, but just listened to while waiting for the contest. I can't remember the ID of the third....
A lot of people took pictures of or with me, mostly kids since the adults usually took the photos, ha ha. But there were a few couples who took pics with me too. :3

Most of the kids stood in front of me when taking pictures, but I had one little girl hug me (AWWWWWW ), and one little boy who just wanted to hold my hand (double D'AWWWW). They were so cute!!!!

Then after walking around we headed over to Borders for the costume contest. Basically the contestants went on the top floor, and they had 5 or so peeps line up so everyone could see, then a worker would announce the person, and the amount of applause determined the winner. I ran into a Sorcerer (he had a really cool scythe, but was called a sorcerer) there whom I had seen while walking around, and him and my family proceded to talk. I went against him in the first round, and though the guy had an awesome costume, nobody cheered for him D: not even the polite applause everyone else got! so i yelled even though I was standing next to him...LOL.

well, i won the first round sort of hands down (i hadn't heard the crowd get that loud for anyone else, XD), then came back for the second and final round, which pit each of the first round winners against each other. Since I cheered for the Sorcerer dude last round, I figured I'd cheer for someone this round too. I really liked this little girl in a turquoise kimono, so I cheered for her! i got more types of foam ! and enough of it that i hope to either pad my G1 Seeker/Starscream helm (last year on that outfit i had a helmet but never took any pictures of it/of me in it), or use it on a costume for ... I have lots of costume ideas, plus i got around to carving a pumpkin, finally, this year (normally by now I'd have done 3 or 4), that I hope to post pics of after the deadline for everything has passed and I'll stick all the pumpkin pictures together.

TF:RoTF TG TM is almost done...I got a new voice actor for Prime and hope to record his lines for the first episode tonight, then Ratchet's voice actor we had to work an FTP for the files for since somehow he cant send me emails (he gets mine, i don't get his - its not in spam folder) even replies to mine? Ironhide and Seeker's voice's haven't come in yet, so it looks like I'm doing at least one of them, as originally planned. I'll practice at work tonight... OK!

The classes I'm in now are Logic and a layout class (thinking of composition of scenes and the shots used in them).

and let me tell you, logic was not at all what I was expecting.
When I hear "logic" I think of logical characters - the first words that come to mind are "cold" and "hard." Like science (which has enough issues of its own with fake science trotting about D: )

Anyway, all I've found logic to be is a bunch of smoke so far, no better off than definitions. sure there are some clear cut forms used in arguments, but NO BODY USES THEM IN ALL PRACTICALITY. logic completely ignores and is considered seperate from reality, though it's supposed to be used to evaluate reality. Now, I generally love irony. I don't like this.

I was very much looking forward to this class - and now I can hardly bring myself to do the work for it (which is what I would be doing if I weren't ranting ). I'm so sad humans are so incapable of nailing down anything absolute AND practical in this field. But we had to go and make language vague and amorphous. And then the fools of logic go and readily USE it, perfectly aware that they arn't going to get very far, and forgo working on making the practical part of logic more practical in choice of working with the less accurate form of language. I don't know, maybe it's just the English language Logic hates (doubt it, but then again most of the old logicians we must think of spoke latin or greek).

and im disturbed that we have no issues or clear boundary with philosophy (a major part of the above rant that went unmentioned till now). if we aren't given even a false philosophy for everyone to work with in mind, then how are we supposed to come to the same conclusions? i would gladly trade out my philosophy for a class just for the sake of learning logic in a more logical way. (then I can apply it to whatever worldview I have) but noooooooo, we're content to simply say, 'we can't prove it or disprove it, so we'll just all frolic about in our own way and hope we all learn and come to similar (GAH! VAGUE!) conclusions!' :3

Maybe this type of logic just frustrates me. (I'm certain if I can figure a clearer logic out, then I'll be fine. but I think I'm going to implement this smoke-and-mirrors deal logic into one or two of my characters somehow [Graphe was supposed to be logical, but depressed; Grill appears logical, but isn't.])
Btw, I really like that rant emote. it looks angry, unfortunately, but the motions look about typical for a rant... that and the big mouth...

But God is awesome.

I'm having a few issues with the new online classrooms but overall it looks nice...most of my last classes' assignments worth looking at are on youtube because theyre video rather than stills.

TF:RoTF TG TM is waiting mostly on voice actors to finish up, though a little filmng is left to be done. I've edited as much as I can while waoiting on the voices....

So that means a couple things to me, first off and probably more relevant to you guys - is that means it's almost All Hallows Eve. So far I've got two dates with Blackout/Grindor - the 25 I'll try to go to the local library like last year and just have funn there. I think I was the oldest dressed up person last year which is a bit distressing, but I'm gonna go through with it... Grindor needs love...and some more pictures/video, . That and the POA here seemd to be big on costumes, so I might go there and dress up (I've got contacts who wanted me to go dress up there...). then on the 31, I plan on trying to make it to the faraway mall ealry enough this year that I might actually get in the constume contest (last year we were a bit late because we didn't find out a bout it till shortly before hand and once we drove there we were just a tad late). then ill be going to work after that - but not to work - were' having a party there, and Grindor's gonna sing karaoke, i plan on having a video sinced to the song to show on the tv on the wall since tf2 will be on disc by then (assuming i can by it before hand and get the video edited).

secondly, the cooler weather makes me super reminiscent of Dumont. People used to ask me if was homesick or anything for Vegas. no, but i really miss dumont. they don't have any dunes nearby either.

max should be coming in the mail soon since i start a class that needs it next week >: )


aaand...
commissions apparently don't work for me, i don't have enough flak to sell myself to anybody yet (either that or ALL my friends and aquaintances are too young/poor to want/buy a commission). So I'm gonna just open up commissions for free because I still want the experience, even if I can't get the money. I'll work on three at a time, to keep it from geting messy... Storyboarding requires nearly as much drawing as 2d animation...Speech takes practice everyday until you finally present it...Editing TF:RoTF The Game The Movie takes all me spare time (much like filming did)...and I got my hours upped at work so I can hopefully pay off some more of my school stuff, and be able to afford TF:RoTF when it comes out next month on BD (hoorah). Man, I'm beat. All that and I passed up buying The Fallen at Walmart. Several times.... I've had my eye on the Voyager class for a while, and now he's finally appeared at my walmart's and i won't put my self in debt to buy him.
Grindor hopes to be going to a couple of Halloween parties, and then, money permitting, my first convention some time in late November...

I miss y'all, but don't have much [worthy] art to post since I've been doing video a lot lately.

Cam got a new starter (a noisier one...) since his solenoid had a dead spot on the contact and it was a sealed solenoid so we couldn't simply clean it. He'll need a new return hose for power steering fluid too sometime next week, since he broke it (Cam: What do you mean I broke it?) and it's been leaking...
ch12 of TF:G.E. is almost finished. Ch 11 is currently in editing (been a while I know...but my editor is off to college and never comes online anymore..he can't get on DA... i have to text his phone, )

and....TF:RoTF TG TM is due hopefully by halloween,or the end of October. Filmings >75% done, Editings > 25%, and voices are about 50%. The voices are taking the longest since school has started back up again.

I'm totally considering getting MorphVOX Pro for this project, but it will depend on money, again.

School's keeping me really busy too.

Also, as All Hallows Eve is rolling around the corner soon, I've been considering my next cosplay (which will be made sometime after halloween for next year). I have yet to hear of any costume contests or parties or anything that I could wear Blackout/Grindor to, but everyone tells me it's still to early to be looking for such things, . I just want to make sure I can schedule in as much costume time as I can, and that I can get the days off work for tem when I need them.
My favourite idea for my next costume is Oil Slick from TF:A. I want to try out a TFA costume, and he's so simple he can be "transformable" while I'm wearing it. Only downside is probably buyng the materials for it. I'd like to use my leftover styrofoam but if I made OIlslick I'd probably cover it in fabric like others are doing. It works well for TFA costumes. Someone also suggested on the Transcostumers board that I could try The Fallen, but I don't think I'm ready skill-wise, for that yet. I would want to have all kinds if glowing lights and such, so I'd need more money too.
I also considered doing Breakaway, but he's got odd proportions that would look weird in a costume...Any other character suggestions?

That brings me to my next point - Max is the program required by IMVU for their developers. I thought I could make a little extra money that way, and get experience. Of course, it takes a little money in and of itself to become a developer (or really, just buy your name, last time I checked). I'll have to look into this deeper when I get the time...@_@;

still numb, but alive...alive enpough to force myself to sit in front of the computer to say thanks to anybody who did anything while i was away - i just don't have the energy to tell everyone personally. so, thanks for making the world not revolve around me its healthier that way. XD thanks to everyone who commented or faved, or journaled, or posted pictures...im sure it all helped keep me going.


so, few things ive found out while incapacitated: I'd rather be in pain than numb. when im numb im not really not feeling, it just feels annoying. at least pain is ignorable. my lower left jaw is still numb. rest of me is almost back to normal...i guess.
i like movie-verse ratchet.
mom bought me a voyager class ratchet a few hours before the surgery...and he's been sticking with me through it. great help, that medic. and since i had the opportunity to read his bio finally, i finally know more about what he's like (sorry, movie doesn't cut it). and i like him. it seems like every vcharacter i come to know i get to love...hmm.
he's also my largest transformer too, i think....though hes not my only voyager.

seether likes doing jigsaw puzzles. he has this weird way of puitting them together though.
hinder and fender like billiards. and they also enjoy volleyball along with the rest of the dune-mechs (cyclone, derby, wyvern).

a drew a pen sketch of ratch...but thats about it. i just feel so sick. i want to draw though...
hopefully ill feel well enough tomorrow to go see TF in imax. and go to the amusement park...:S

played on TF RotF online ill tell you....i left my recorder on for 45 minutes on accident at one point...so i have no shortage of gameplay film.

i thought about making "Transformers RotF The Game The Movie" but figured it would be to hard to colaborate. Machinima's not difficult, only getting voice actors, people online who'll act for me (they have to have mics obn there so i can twell them what to do), and biggest of all - writing a script. which im not realy up to at the moment. i thought it would be fun though.

and if im well enough to go see tf rotf in imax then hopefully ill get that photoshoot of blackout done...

I just feel the need to express how utterly inappropriate quite a bit of the movie was - and I'm surprised it only got PG-13. If you're a parent, you may wish to see the film before the kids to decide for yourself if it's really acceptable, or at least so you can be prepared to explain to the kids about the vulgarity (I don't think you do kids any good by shielding them from the stuff - I'd rather expose them to it and teach them about it KNOWLEDGE IS POWER lawl...). And that's it. I could watch all the non-action/fight scenes without sound and I'd be much happier. There ya' go.

Blackout cosplay: As you may have noticed, one picture is up. Unfortunately, I can't really take pictures outside (which is what I was hoping for), until Saturday morning. It's just too hot in the evenings, and noone else is home weekday mornings. I do have more pictures, but I thought I'd keep you waiting. I do plan on post WIPs pictures to my scraps, if you like.
I did end up putting one tiny decepticon logo on my costume - on the chest piece, similar to the toy. it's a sort of reddish-purple. And I think Skorponok is techinically that kibble on my bck (u'll see). sort of interesting tidbit.

Movie: It was awesome. Ok, if you haven't seen Revenge of the Fallen and/or prefer not to hear/talk about it, leave now.

Cosplay: Blackout's head is completely finished, and I decided to go with painted on optics (doesn't look as bad as I expected), cause im too poor from college and wisdom teeth next week to be able to buy a teeny pair of red LEDs. Lol.
Started working on the engines yesterday - nothing today, WAYY too tired unfortunately, and dads asleep, so he can't help anyway (which is the only pro to working on it on weekends. Anyway, hope to get everything done within the next to days....Prayer that I won't freak out about it would be nice.

Small unimportant note: finished the helicopter blades yesterday head just needs some paint. the blades WERE attached but dad sort of snapped them off - so /i'll reattach them at the endd (it was a clean break, so it shouldn't show) some detail was done as well. Starting shoulders today.

if i finish it in time for the film i will upload a pic ASAP to the transformers site to see if it can get any votes!

Tnight the shoulders were built. They just need paint. I can still get the backpack on and off by myself (granted I haven't tried it with my other pieces on), which is nice. Head is more painted, but still not completely painted. It takes a terribly long time (and crazy amount of paint) to do it...>.<; I do not think, after building the shoulders, that I will make the upper arms. TToes are still optional, lol.

Good news: apparently my dad found out today that at least two guys at his work are into Transformers! Yay! I'm thinking Blackout will have to make a visit to those labs....


We're getting closer... and as the days draw to a close, one by one, God keeps reminding me of his promise....
Though I still don't have chunks to make the fuel tanks out of (so they are very round), it will be done on time. halleluJah. Much painting to do tomorrow, yet I must not neglet these final days of class (Sunday's my last day before break). Phew. Praise God.

Very tired again. My parents said I should sell a costume. I'd love to, but I have to make them custom (I don't know how many peeps would fit in my outfit, lol). That'd be awesome if someone in my area wanted one though.

Anybody know where (if) Blackout has a Decepticon logo? The Voyager class toy has it in place of the USAF logo armor on his arms, and I think on his torso. It's not in any of the frames (I went through the movie...), or the photos or renders I've seen though.

So, here's the funny news:

Is Blackout not going to be Blackout?
I just watched some gameplay from the TF2 game (since play varies, I don't mind watching gameplay; I don't think of it as a spoiler), and Blackout wasn't called Blackout. It was another name we saw a "Blackout" toy by ages ago (which they thought was just to throw us off?) This is slightly depressing - what if I'm not really Blackout! Agh. Well... grr. I don't know what to say. I guess we'll just to wait for the movie and the game to see what becomes of him.

If he is Blackout by another name, I think it's lame that they didn't change Megs' name. This is so confusing. Man, well.

I took a few days off working on the cosplay 'cause i was so very tired. but today i got back to working on it (man its hot out ) I'm painting the propellers now (on accident really....), then hopefuly I can attach them to the back pack, which consists of the cockpit, the hub where the blades are attached, and these weird pieces between (I have no clue what it is/turns into). That's almost finished painting as well.

Feet are still in flux. Found a weak spot on them where I had to stiffen them up (need to paint those pieces), and haven't cut out the side toes yet, if I will (by release).

No details yet, though I thought of starting them today, I know I should wait 'till everything else is finished.

Plan on finishing the head today (except maybe painting and optics), unless dad helps me with the shoulder kibble (which I'll try to get done too).

Still need the shoulder kibble, fuel tanks, back and chest pieces (under/below the backpack). And upper arms depending on the shoulder kibble.

Began work on the backpack today. Feet have been attached at the front - still considering the sides. im so tired because of the humidity, i can't even be excited about it
but i got some work done. I just need to hang in there 'til classes get out (need to focus on school right now), and then i can devote myself to it more until it's finished.

also considering officially opening requests for my summer break, so i can think more about commissions. and also plan on making a bunch of tiny sculpted dragons to sell at one of the many fairs they apparently have in this area. maybe it will be a way to make some money...

Cosplay:
Phew, Ok, the lower arms (possibly the entire arm at this point) is complete and attached.
Legs are done except for the feet! I had much fun walking around in the legs.
Blackout's face is attached to my mask, but I don't have the top/back/side of his head yet. And the mask is still blue so I find it a bit creepy and weird !!!! I'm hoping to get the head finished tomorrow if dad's available.
Then all that's left is maybe doing Blackout's toes (on the side of his feet). I've debated these for a while...
Gotta attach his feet to my shoes...and then...
THE BACKPACK OF DOOM
ha ha. Maybe not so much. I'm getting excited about that part...It really will be the biggest part of my costume in so many ways...And I can't wait to have the helicopter blades! Lol...don't know why, but I find them amusing.


I can sort of run in my legs. More like jog.
Walking's not terribly difficult either, as I hadn't expected it to be. Very tolerable.
If there's one part I'm very happy with right now, it's the knees. God just told me to attach them a certain way (what I never would have thought of nor tried), and they actually move similar to Blackout's knees! I was so happy!

God is just working so awesomely on this project. I'm so glad he's given it to me to do.

Still don't have anywhere to wear it, even though I hope to finish it before RotF releases. Hah. Aww, well. Providence wil win out, I'm sure. GOD'S WILL BE DONE!!!!

I'm terribly excited still. Mom said it's looking nice, and the neighbour boys said it looked good too. Haha, when I mentioned that I thought of asking one of them to be Sideswipe, he said he'd rather be Skorponok! . Besides being out of scale, it would be really hard to do (a practically unsupported tail? no thank you!), but I figured I could just carry around my tiny Skorponok in my pocket, or call my dog Skorponok since he's part Chow and had the curl over the back tail. Ha ha.

Moving my arms is still fairly easy. I can reach my opposing shoulder (no backpack yet, remember?) Walking is going to be a little odd again, since there's so much armor between his feet (and, oddly enough, none outside, ha ha). etc. etc.

oh - head/face is still wip

Well, going to take a break, eat dinner and maybe play TF or work on the cosplay somemore!

Arms are still nearly done, from the elbow down.
Legs are nearly finished being carved out from the knee down, though I have yet to paint of those pieces. There's one or twoo pieces on the foot I haven't started on yet.
Getting closer to doing that whole big fat backpack of kibble that is inevitable...I just need my dad's help for that, so I have to wait till we're both home (mon - weds evenings, but he likes to sleep, or saturday and sunday [but im tired on sundays, ha ha]). And...I think I'm going to have to end up painting the head thing under the face pieces, 'cause apparently it can't be dyed. And I refuse to be a blue-headed Blackout

I still think I can get it done by the movie's release...and I still don't thioink I have anything to do with it at that time, LOL. Anyway, gtg to work, see ya!

The cosplay has been moved into the garage and construction is underway!
Hands are nearly done (the right hand I can wear already - it's awesome!)
I finished slicing and modeling the front of the lower arms today, they need to be painted and attached. If I'm diligent I can finish before the big movie premiere. Not that I would be able to go to a premiere, or even when I DO see the movie, not that i could/would wear it....but I'll probably hang out somewhere for Halloween, and you guys'll probably get pictures once it's complete. Daddy's helping me, and I get to use all his tools - which freaked me out at first (grinders, razors, pencils...haha).

The theme/intro & outro for my entry into 's cartoon thing is underway! The storyboards are about a third of the way done there. It simply takes a long time to draw every single frame... but it's fun and cute.

phew...so excited. God's so cool! SQUEEE!!!

ok, my wisdom tooth removal has been moved a week later - thank you God for your awesome plan - and so instead of it being two days before the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, it's now five or so days after it. Yay, i wion't be suffering along with Optimus...lol.
and then - God's awesome plan is awesome - i preordered the RotF game for PS3 ( [link] ), and it should arrive while im all sickly like after the tooth removal, so I'll have something to do
that just scratches the surface.

as the title probably lets u know, im very excited about the movie coming out. trying very hard not to get obsessed. todays my last day for two classes, and i have two more classes starting tomorrow (second math class and 2D animation), so i have to focus on them. they finish a week or so before the premiere (summer break?!). eckadssfgdkh.

edit: I'm surprised at how many transformers they fit into this thing (in order of first appearance): Bumblebee, Optimus, Skids, Mudflap, three Constructions, Megatron/Galvatron, The Fallen, the Audi (can't remember his name), the three motorcycles/Arcee, Starscream, (I can't tell who's in the back there, I think it's Megs), and then Bumblebee fighting one of the Constructicons who salvaged Megs - I like his because his treads turn into whips or something, another unknown as Megs fires at the screen, Blackout (hoorah!), Devastator (combined), Jetfire, Ratchet (the only frames I've seen of him so far; guess he's really doing the medic thing this time ), The Doctor [slapping Sam across the face] , and Blackout torn up! All his hand armor is gone [and now he's got three fingers instead of two?!)!!! , and then Devastator is sucking everything up...including one of the Twins... ;.;

I got to sprinkle the floor of the garage tonight, since dad was painting it.

I'm excited because it looks cool (Cam: Great, now I'll be in a shiny box...), and I hope to move my cosplay work in there, possibly. I know having dad's help would make it a lot easier/faster/more fun.
It never hurts to have help when you're your own model, plus the extra opinion...

I understand not everyone shares an interest in “hilosophy,” the love of truth. But why shouldn’t you? You lie just as others lie to you, so why not seek truth? How could I live, in God’s grace, knowing that others will be condemned to death, when I had the truth. When I could share salvation. Is it not that way from any view? Even evil, lying ones? No matter who you are, how could you let somebody live a lie? How could you not tell them, “There is/isn’t a god,” if you thought you were right. And if you don’t think you’re right then you’re still looking. You’re not sitting there saying, “Well, I don’t know. I just don’t know.” Because immediately afterward you come to a conclusion – either you have a purpose or not, and that one fragment is what drives you to your next action, your next search for truth.
Keep looking. Don’t lie to yourself.

ive got upwards of 1,817 feet of foam (differing weights) and 893 ft of cardboard (i didn't want to get any more since i got the foam; i want it just as backup.) most of the cardboard is this big refrigerator box (we moved; thats why i got all the supplies i did ), and the foam is a bunch of pieces, but i have several large bits (around 20x72 in. for my largest group) and some pieces that are perfect for the...umm...blades. 6, to be precise...

anyway, im sort of dreading going back to measuring, though i thought building it in maya would be more fun, theres only so much fun you can cram into numbers... so, here i go :S maybe not back into maya...maybe photoshop...

I'm sort of in a lull at the moment.
I updated the art on my website...But I'm also considering adding a photography section, and, eventually, and commission section....
I'm still not certain about commissions though. Hu hu hu...

I finally got around to 's Pamphlet; it's in my scraps if you want to suggest improvement for it. Once she gets back to me on the latest updates, and we're all finished on it, I'll upload both sides as deviations seperately so it can be printed (if :iconkenyastarflight let's me; it's half her work, after all). I have printed out one copy for myself of the latest version, but nobody at my end "gets" it...they all read deception instead of decepticon, lol. good news is, my mom thought i got it somewhere else; that it was professional


in other news, i guess is back from his trip! All safe, it appears. I've got the sketch for his tattoo finished i just need to send it to him to see whther what im working on is the colors he was looking for or the words...

I have many ideas for a few small pictures, but i haven't settled on what to do. i want to do something with a new digital inking technique I got from
and i have totally pushed back my latest project, because has shown me a new way to animate, rofl.
and im slowly still working on the next cosplay - actual effort put into this one, lol...still don't have a date set for wearing it though. Maybe the boys across the street will have a halloween party or contest or something i could wear it at. thatd be nice.

also, i guess I'm a sophomore in college now. i feel old. XD

Lol, anyway, just thought I'd update with some stuff...

So - the big RotF project is finished and up!~ That, and today I finished the project I was doing BEFORE I started the Fallen!

What's that mean? Now I'm moving on to other stuff! For right now I'm going to focus on turning 's brochure text into an actual brochure. If I work quickly (and Illustrator is nice to me), I hope to have it done tonight.
Then I'll be working on 's tattoo. (He's visiting another country now, so pray for 'im! )

Once that's all ironed out - it's on to the next big project. The next one is an animation, and I'll reveal it's in my Transformers: Generation Earth universe. I'm taking a 2D animation class in 6 weeks; I hope to know what I need help with by then.

Also, I'm starting two new classes tomorrow: Dig. Image Manip. and Dynamic Fig. Drawing.

Man...I've had like, some stomach flu or food poisoning on and off for the past three weeks or so. That means the days off from work i have ive spent doing nothing (not even sleeping most of the time, even though I'd sit on the couch in a dark room with no noise...I just thought, and thought, and thought. Helped me understand the sabbath a little better, I think, but discernment of when to quit resting can be difficult when you feel like your going to keel over when you sit up, and even worse when you stand. Ah well. I'm hungry now, so I want to go eat something from the kitchen.

I had a lot of time to thin about my next project...

My little photo area has just been sitting there since I haven't had time, nor felt well enough to finish photos of Oil Slick, or the combo shots of TFs w/ Zoids. They look so CUTE together I tell you! Even with huge cannons and menacing claws!

The current big project is still going, albeit slowly, because of the illness and school eating time. I'm finished with the lineart at any rate, and now I'm cleaning up colors....then I will finish shading and some texture detail and things....

Bird is molting...very pretty feathers...



Um, Oh! I got Wall-E. It was interesting, cute, well-done, with so little dialogue, etc. etc. Also helped me understand Humanism a little better...And Pixar, since there was a movie about them on the BD. That was neat.

Which is good bcause my current classes are coming to an end, and that means - dun, dun, dun! a research essay. I've decided to do it on one of the humanist manifestos (basically the "movement" or how history affect it or vice-versa). That's where the title of this journal comes from...I could be finishing up the rough draft...but I' m hungry. And catching up on all the stuff I couldn't check while I was sick. Looks like Cyclonus will be getting a Universe toy, and the Movie toys strat coming out in April-May. Some look very good. I'm eyeing one-or-two of 'em, but no telling if i will get them till i see them in-store (assuming i do see them).
And devastator looks ok. im sort of laughing at his head and mouth...i think it's funny...
and ive spazzed over the new episodes of TFA. so much fun. great to have new material, sad it will be the end, but hopefully it will have a good, solid, conclusion.

Next chapter of TFGE is going to for editing, then posting. chapter 9 needs to be redone, then it will be up for editing and finally posting as well.

Family Force 5 is awesome by the way.

Umm...Oh, Cam got a wheel alignment, new tie rod ends... and the poor thing hates medics and mechanics of all kinds. he was excited to be taking me to the dentist (revenge!) until he found out i enjoyed the visit...(i wanted to be a dentist when i was little, before I drew ). Ha ha. He's a little depressed about that.

i had a revelation! ok, so, the measuring part of making costumes is my least fav. part. and it occurred to me that i can make it more fun by integrating maya! it would also help me see what the costume will look like before its finished! it should only be a little more work, but may take less time, LOL.

I like one of Pagani's cars. I think it's pretty, lol.
Saw it on Top Gear. If you guys have never seen that show (I watch it on BBC America), I recommend visiting their site or watching one of their episodes, even if you're not into automotive stuff! It can be SO hilarious!

Sorry, eh-hemm. Recently I visited my former Sequential Art teacher's website, to see if it had updated. It looks like it has - and now Blackline Comics is open for business! Lol.

So - my question - Would anybody be interested in working on a comic book with me, as the writer (and colorist, if you like)?

I've thought about doing it all myself, but I'm coming up blank on comic book plots (got plenty of video game ones...), and I know that would be very stressful, doing it all myself, so I'm asking anybody I can trust who also reads this journal. If you're a writer, but don't know how to write comic book scripts, ask me - I have a sample, lol. Also, bear in mind, comic books are generally 25-30 pages long, and are released monthly - so that means you'd be doing near a 30 page script at least once a month. I can't recall how much it pays - that's something I'm not too concerned about since I'm not just in it for the money. Maybe go to the Blackline comics website for that. Lots of info there. [link]

EDIT: I'd also be willing to draw in the other formats Blackline is accepting - webcomics and such. Go to the site (under "Submissions") for full detail.

It's not just school that's kept me from posting lately...I'm working on a big personal TF RotF project. X3
So, as a warning, one of the next deviations I post is going to contain a new character for Revenge of the Fallen. It may be a week 'till I get it up (it's bigger and better than Ravage!)...any longer and you can blame for funding my purchase of the newest Prince of Persia game - which is awesome (obviously, if it's keeping me from TF, ) But then again, he also got me Demon Hunter's CD "Storm the Gates of Hell" which I listen to while I'm working onthe project...so I guess if you do blame him, be sure to give him credit when the deviation is released! LOL.

lol...well, im about to start two new classes this week, and it looks like its going to keep me pretty busy. don't be fearful if i disappear.
still working on thoise wips...sort of frenetically (i can't even remember whether im using it correctly atm, but i dont want to look it up) since i don't want to have stuff hanging over my shoulder for 6 weeks while i do those classes.
still going to try and do cc once a week at least. maybe every week night if i can. hmm, ok time to buckle down, I can do this! Got God! The Holy Spirit! And Jesus!

On the 6th, (when im typing this) we went to walmart and I figured I could buy something for 10 bucks. Obviously I went to the toy section. Heheh, If you thought otherwise, im afraid you might not know me…anyway, I went there and, as others have reported, stores are sort of…changing their shelves. There were very few tf toys – and they were all robot heroes and animated – wat happened to the movie toys? Revenge is coming. Rotf.l XD guess they’ll save their stock for wen they can jack up the price again due to the demand wen the movie nears release – and rotf toys are available! Yay! Can’t wait. Im hoping to get a megs toy, cause I like tank tfs. idk yet though. ANYWAY – they didn’t have any toys I was interested in, so I went to another section, where I had caught a glimpse of s/t tf during Christmas – and it was still there! So I swooped in….and, wat were they u ask? WALL STICKERS. U know, like fatheads. Except movie-verse tfs.. and how much was it? TEN DOLLARS. If that’s not God’s will, idk wat is. so…I hung em up…

Theres 6 tf posters – 5 of which are movie verse, a Camaro poster, an 09 tf calendar, the number 5 thunderbird logo, and ALL THOSE WALL STICKERS THAT CAME IN THE PACK. Theres like, 20 of em. Theres all these tiny transformers assaulting my walls (and doors) LOL. Im now going to keep my closet door closed again, cause of the stickers on it, LOL.
My room is starting to scare me LOL. On second thought, maybe I wont close my closet door.

FOR DIGITAL PAINTINGS & DESIGNS (this is pretty much most of the art in my gallery – I include the images I drew on paper first then inked and/or colored in Photoshop.)
An 800x800 image at 72 dpi (that’s just fancy for saying it’s 800x800 pixels on your computer screen):
For just a character or a place (like a background, or whatever) is $10
To add a character to a background/to add more characters, add $5 for each additional char.
Examples: say you wanted just two characters – no background = $15; 3 chars – no bg = $20; etc. or you wanted a character WITH a bg = $15; maybe 4 characters with a bg = $30; etc.
Get it? That pricing works not just for 800x800 pix at 72 dpi – it works for any rectangular image that adds up to 1600 pixels at 72 dpi – ok? Have questions? Ask, rofl.
Now for something print-worthy: if you want an 2550x3300pix image at 300 dpi (fancy for saying its 2250x3300pix on paper), it’s based price is $20 and it goes up the same way the other images do; +$5 for stuff. That’s for anything that adds up to 5850 pix at 300 dpi. (I only made it 2550x3300 because that’s American paper; say you wanted to print it out to stick on a wall, or in a binder, etc.)
So basically it’s 160 pixels per dollar for 72 dpi dig paintings, and 292.5 pixels per dollar for 300 dpi paintings, if you feel like calculating a price for an image size different then I have suggested.

PIXEL ART
100x100pix (large icon size – the size of my BB and Barricade pixel art. DA and AIM icons are half size- 50x50 pix [small icons]).
100x100 = $10
Erm, I’m not fond of pixel art, so it’s 20 cents per pixel (If you care to ask for pixel art in other sizes, you can tell what it will cost).
If you want it animated, it’s simply +$2.50 per frame (not including the original frame, so it’s priced sort of like the digital paintings…

I'm alive!

Believe it or not, peeps, that last journal entry is things that just run through my mind. It actuually takes EFFORT to be coherant and keep the little voices from rebelling and taking over...

Well, on another note: I imagine that ice storm is still wreaking havoc, not to mention all of the damage that it's left in its wake. Be sure to stay warm and stay safe ppl!
And I'll try not to make Cam slide when I go to work today! (I haven't been to work since before the storm, so I haven't had to go anywhere).

The thing that happened in yesterdays journal was something for "Down the Rabbit Hole" Day or something that was supposed to be posted the day before (27), but we lost power that day and I didn't want to risk hurting my comp by having it on at that time.

er, school's going well. i guess. i can't wait to share my final project from storytelling with you guys! it should be good! (I'm finishing capturing video today, hopefully ALL of it done today, then I just have to work on my sound/music for it.

Beeper: It's not so bad if you just look at it, really. It's very pretty.
Cam: but slippery....and trees are falling over!

Hot Cocoa is yummy!

Grill: All of the objects outside are encased in ice, and are reminiscent of ice sculptures.
Beeper: That's what makes it so pretty! It's so shiny!
Crossfire: (sarcastic) shiny! (great!)
Grill: it's made all of the plants and other objects very brittle. any interaction with the ice figures can be deadly.
Cam: then it snowed last night, and it covered all the ice and stuff, so now everything is all white and flat, and the same!
Grill: uniform.
Cam: right. and theres not really enough to DO anything with....cause natsume keeps wanting to build a snow-man or something, but she never gets more than little 6 inch mounds!

they don't really press into snow-balls really well..and i have no experience!

Beeper: theres like...3 or four all around her house/neighborhood!
Vicegrip: that way she knows where she's been. if she ever gets lost, just follow the snow mounds!
Cipher: some of them have little smiley faces on them and such...

I would like to take this time - precious moments of life - to tell any willing to listen and understand that my life is to glorify God. Everything I do - drawings, writing, cleaning, walking, driving - is to give glory to God. Yes, it is possible to glorify God while doing some "Mundane" action as writing a seemingly secular story, or drawing a seemlingly depressing picture, or simply driving on the road. It is possible and it is consistantly my goal. In the same manner, God has given direction to my life, and I follow the path in which he leads me, even though it seems useless or mundane at times to myself or others. One reason for writing this is reminding myself; another is in hope (not just some weak feeling) that others will read this and be reminded as well.

Change is not some "big thing" in life that so many people seem to be afraid of or hate or look forward to. Change is a part (inherantly) of humanity. Regardless if someone wants change or not, they are constantly changing. Why leave it to the winds? Why let change be chanced? Or why embrace evil changes in full knowledge? Why not seek a good change? Not something that is just "good" for you (which goes against the very definition of good, to my understanding); but something that is TRUEly good. Change is always happening, therefore you always have the opportunity to make it good or bad. Again, I ask, why leave it to "chance"? Why knowingly make an "evil" change?

Why not question the very reason you are living; even if it means making a "big change"?

Liars, murderers, adulterers at heart; are you really good people? Who are you comparing yourself to?

There's nothing left,
the fear is gone.

I woke up this morning to frozen ground and ice in several parts of Flash (doggy) and my walk. He was a bit too eager a slipped a bit, but he was graceful about it, and absolutely adorable.
Now it's snowing, and what we thought would be gone by the end of the day is getting whiter!


Well, Christmas presents are going up in my gallery - I upload smaller watermarked versions and send the full versions to the giftees.

I went out and played in the little bit of snow we've gotten so far...I love how soft it is.

God bless! Looks like I'm not setting up my room at the other house today! neither mom nor myself wants to drive, .

Anyway, I'm just going to tell you stuff, then.

My Christmas came sort of early this year, since I decided I could finally afford a PS3 since we've moved. Then my parents announced that they would pay for half.
And then on sunday, mom comes home with a box of TFs!

rofl, they're not the best toys, but my mom had her heart in the right place. i just wish ppl would ASK what i wanted before buying stuff, dont you? I'm often misunderstood...
Anyway, I've got all these TFs scattered across my desk (fighting; I can't seem to end that dreaded Bot/Con war...) because my more established TFs are warring on my TV and dresser, so I wasn't sure where to put these new guys till we moved.

btw, we're moving in a week or two out of this rental house, YAY.
and, guess wat?
MY PARENTS SAID I CAN PAINTZ MAH ROOM.
They promised me i could about...8 years ago wen we moved then. since that never happened, they suddenly decided to make good on that promise and let me paint it this time...
better late than never?
again, hearts in the right place, though I'll probably be out of that house in three or so years, .
but i dont have more painting skills now.
I plan to paint Jak and Dax, Ratchet and Clank, a dragon, Grovyle (Pokemon), Bumblebee (07 movie; that's going to be tough...), and the Darkness (in my WALK-IN CLOSET ; hopefully the eyes will have glow-in-the-dark paint, )
that's supposed to happen over my Christmas break (starts on the 21 I believe).
Also, my room will now be at the front of the house, and happens to have the largest window, so mom bought me a purple Christmas Tree, (purples my fav. color; though I think the tree looked better in blue; AGAIN, hearts in the right place, doesn't matter ) I wonder if the parakeets will like sitting on it? they never got into our big tree (technically thats mine now, but mom doesn't seem to want me to try and set that up in my new room, )
and...MOM SAID I CAN KEEP MY COMP IN MY ROOM, YAY.
If you may recall, i might have vaguely mentioned somewhere that mom planned for me to keep my comp in dads office. which i thought was odd (especially with the reason they gave me). i do pretty much everything on my computer (or at its desk) school, drawing (traditional and digital), gaming (on my monitor), etc. the only reason i leave the house is to go with my parents somewhere (pretty rare), work (eveniings), or to buy something important or deposit a check (usually I can get my parents to do it though, "to save gas" ). so i wouldve turned dads office into my office, lol, plus the way mom designed the set-up no one would've had any room in there D:, lol o well, its changed now.
she still wont let me get rid of my tv though (i dont use it for anything. if i want to watch tv i go into the livingroom)

and, finally (long journal, eh?), i should be buying an HDMI cable tomorrow, since they're only 15$ due to Black Friday sale stuff. then - HD PS3 AND BLURAY MOVIES.
