Well, once I plugged the cords into my PC, I didn't know if I needed to install anything (there were no instructions to do so).

Anyway, maybe this is normal, but the hard drive's light kept blinking on and off. Is that normal?

I also had a hard time removing it from my PC when I was done. I kept getting a prompt box, telling me to remove at later time, so I just unplugged it from my computer.

Anyone out there that uses an external drive?

How many of you watch the MTV Video Music Awards lastnight? Oh, how I could slap myself for getting excited to see this boring, annual event.

The show kicked off with Britney Spears as the opening act. It was horrendous. I've never seen an entertainer lose his/herself while perfoming. Britney looked like she was confused, nervous, and embarrassed. Her backup dancers were great, but then, no one was focusing on them. The attention was on the main attraction.

While the cameras zoomed in on Diddy, Rhianna, and Chris Brown's reactions, everyone could tell that Britney was bombing during the second verse.

To me, I think she was trying to prove that she still had what it took to be a great entertainer. Not that I don't think she has, but she's in no condition to be proving what she is to millions of viewers. I was pissed MTV took a chance with her, and it only led to an embarrassment. Someone should have taken Britney aside, and told her she's not ready for a comeback...especially when she hasn't had a hit song in years. Moving on.

Why wasn't there a host for the ceremony? After Britney performed, Sarah Silverman came out. Since she did the MTV Movie Awards earlier this year, it was impossible that she was doing the VMAs. It turns out that she was only there to crack a few jokes.....about diarrhea. How shitty.

The performances were cut off before and after commercials. It seems as though MTV wanted viewers to visit some website to see all of the performances in its entirety. WHATEVER! I don't want to get online to see what should have been air to its completion. Instead of having more performers, MTV took the liberty in letting Justin Timberlake, Kayne West, Foo Fighters, and Fall Out Boy perform numerous of times with special guests. I don't know about you, but I felt like I was bamboozled.

Alicia Keys was an announcer and a performer. Now I love this woman, but why did she perform? I don't listen to the radio that much, but would've heard my friends/family mention a new song she's getting airplay. I really don't understand why she was booked. While she was performing, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock got into an altercation. That was like a highlight of the night to me. Usually, you hear about rappers getting into fights, but this time it was ROCKERS. ROCK ON!

Chris Brown performance was amazing. He could've did without the Michael Jackson tribute, but it was the best performance of the night. Everyone got up and cheered for him.

Justin Timberlake won 2 awards, and he mentioned that MTV needs to start playing more videos. He's right. Besides TRL and Sucker Free, there's nothing but reality and dating shows on MTV.

Rhianna won 2 awards. Other winners included Fergie, Beyonce, Fall Out Boy, and Gym Class Heroes. And that was all the winners. No wins for Kayne West.

Speaking of Kayne, how the hell was he nominate and his songs have not been airplay for at least 6 months? That's BS. Why was Kayne West a nominee twice and T.I. wasn't? And what happened to the 20 something categories? I would guess it was under 10 categories this year. It makes no sense at all.

Usually the VMAs last for 3 hours, but this time it only lasted 2. What type of Video Award Show was this? If I went to the show, I would want my money back. And if I was a guest appearance, I would want myself to be cut from the lamest award show of the year. Really, I'm looking forward to watching the American Music Awards now (I haven't watched that since I was a teen).

I remember Alicia Keys announcing that there wouldn't be a 2nd time to see the ceremony, but it would only air once. What a lie, because that crap came on again after it went off.

I don't know what's happening, but MTV is losing its spunk. The directors did not think this year's show through clearly. To me, the ceremony needs to be in one state and one state only: New York. RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL! Why did they have ruin the traditional way? Why?!

I hear there's some type of rating system where people can rate on what they didn't like about the show, and MTV will edit it out. They're calling it a "REMIX" Whatever! It's over. It SUCKED. Don't show it again (EVER), and learn from your mistakes MTV.

Learn that you should NOT nominate musicians if their single hasn't been on air for 6 months. Learn that you should NOT add performers to your line-up when they haven't braced millions of viewers in years. And last but not least, get a freaking HOST for the show!

I don't want to spoil the movie for others, but I thought Megatron went out like a bee-otch. What the hell, man?

Oh! The guys in the movie were pretty hot if I do say so myself. I so want to make out with Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, and Josh Duhamel ALL AT ONCE!

Anywho, I give the movie a 7 out of 10.

Scientists are sure that the asteriod called, "Apophis" (named after of the ancient Egyptian god of darkness and destruction), that carries the energy of 65,000 Hiroshima bombs, will pass the Earth at a distance of only 18,800 to 20,800 miles. People on the continents of Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia will see what's similar to a star slowly making its way west across the sky.

The asteroid will pack enough power to wipe out a small country or churn up an 800-ft. high tsunami. There are projections indicating the asteroids targetting Russia across the Pacific Ocean into Central America and then across the Atlantic. San Jose, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Venezuela are also all targets for total destruction, scientists believe the most likely target to be several thousand miles off the West Coast of the United States, where the impact would create a 5-mile wide crater in the ocean floor. The impact would trigger tsunamis that could pound the coast of California with 50-foot waves.

Tracking the asteriod right now is a 45,000 to 1 chance. It's over 18,000 miles away. A former Astronaut, who served on Apollo 9's mission says, "We need to act now. If we blow this, it'll be criminal."

In 2005, NASA planned a mission to land a radio transponder on Apophis, in an effort to track the asteroids path to confirm that it will not hit the gravitational keyhole. They plan to nudge it with a 1-ton of kinetic energy impactor" spacecraft. An alternative solution would be to use a "gravity tractor" spacecraft to hover above the asteroid and gently pull it slightly off course using its own gravity.

As of now, NASA has decided to just monitor the asteroid and see what happens. There's no clause for alarm yet. Apophis will swing by Earth in 6 years. By then, it will be tracked by a 1000-ft diameter radio telescope. The entire mission could take 12 years to know what's going on.

I think these Scientists have been watching Armageddon and Deep Impact entirely too much because, this is definitely not the way the world is going to end. Who are we going to believe? God or Scientists? I don't know about you, but I'm sticking with God.

I get this alert from Microsoft, asking if I want to report the sites that I go to, to them. What the heck is that?!

I've been playing with the buttons on the browser. There's a Zoom button that goes to like 400%. And you can either make your fonts freaking HUGE or TINY. I thought that's what the resolution on computers was for!

And there's a "Full Screen" and a "Tabs" option. I think those are the only cool things about the browser.

With the "Tabs" option, you can view around 4 websites with just one browser opened!

I still need to read up on this. I don't know what I got myself into.

Now that I'm grown, I still walk to the back of the stores and check the bicycles out. I might just buy me one for Christmas.

Oh, does anyone know about the custom made bikes that Snoop Dogg has?

I remember a couple of years ago, he was on the Ellen Degeneres Show and he brought one of the bikes for her to keep. It was so hot! It looks like a scooter, but it turns into a bike once you ride it.

1. I like to scare people, talking like I'm possessed with an evil spirit. It freaks them out.

Not that I have any beef with anyone, but I'm glad DA has given us this privilege.

I've been on a few pages where it's absolutely chaotic. The hatred, the name calling, the banning, it's absolutely insane.

Let's talk about the hiding option for a moment:
On your comment page, you will see a "hide" button above every user who's left a comment on your page. If you're not feeling what they're talking about (say if they got their freak on with your mama) hide their message!

But I'm sure if they got their freak on with your mom, you would wanna block their behinds, right? Damn skippy! Don't nobody talk about our mamas and get away with it!

Blocking:
You can only block up to 20 people. To do so, simply go to your Edit My Profile Page then go to User Page Display, and block up to the limit of people.

If you got 100s of haters, I truly feel for you. Have you tried SheezyArt by any chance?

Hopefully my friends, these options will increase the peace, and DA can live happily ever after!

The new version doesn't work well with Internet Explorer or Firefox, but it looks excellent on Macintosh's Safari.

They even have this guy with a green circle at the top of the page, that shows who's on and off line. I thought that was pretty neat.

illustrations. I started to check her page out once we were in a Danime-ness contest together. Since then, I couldn't keep my eyes off her work.

I'll get to the good part...

was giving a gift out to whoever was her 2400th pageviewer. I called it out that I was going to be, and I was!

A few nights ago, I went to see what was the big fuss about over this movie. So here's the plot...

Jack Sparrow (Depp) endeavors to settle a blood debt to Davy Jones, the infamous captain of the ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Faced with a potential afterlife of servitude and damnation, Jack also has the upcoming wedding of his pals Will Turner (Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Knightley) to consider .

This film was humorous. Jack Sparrow has got to be Johnny Depp's best role.

As a sequel, you know this movie had to live up to be better than the first, and does it ever!

A lot of characters reappeared, which you would think will not make it into the sequel. What I like about this movie was that everyone had their moments in the spotlight. Not just Johnny, Orlando, and Kiera. EVERYONE!

I never seen so many ppl with terrible teeth in my life, watching this movie. lol.

Davy Jones was outstanding. Guess who was playing the role? Bill Nighy! Ya know, the dude who played Viktor in Underworld. The special effects on this character was unreal! If you're a fan of Underworld, you probably remember Bill making these weird noises. He does it in this movie also! It wouldn't surprise me if he gets nominated for an Oscar.

I was intrigued by the ending of the film. It leaves the audience hanging and wondering. I'm anxious to see the next Pirates, which they are filming right now!

No wonder this is the biggest movie this year. It's a 10!

JOE!, (the self-title character, whom the story centers) is a sarcastic and mischievous 10-year-old African American boy, known among his loved ones for being the lil' brat in their lives.

Whether he's with family, friends, or at school, Joe frequently finds his way into trouble. He usually has a smart-aleck response to get him back out of it, but that doesn't always work. This kid is definitely the poster child of punishment.

The comic also provides an amusing look into the entertainment world with special guest such as Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and so on. Bin Laden even makes appearances (wtf??). You just gotta stay tooned!

Joe along with his family and friends, welcomes you to his world, in the hope of inspiring yours.

I like movies that Bryan Singer (X-men & X2) directs. They leave you on the edge of your seat, but this movie here was pretty predictable in every way!

Brandon Routh did perfect in his performance as the main character "Superman/Clark Kent" and does it with such natural acting ability. The guy is new to movies, but makes seems like he's been in it for years. He truly fit the role and he's WAY cuter!

Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane wasn't bad or good. I'm just use to Margot Kidder playing the role, but Kate was still convincing.

Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor did a great job. I don't think I've ever seen him play a villian before.

Parker Posey as Kitty was the comedian of the movie. She killed me with her hairstyles. It was like Einstein meets Tina Turner.

Overall, the movie didn't leave me feeling so great about it. There were like 2 scenes that I liked. That's about it.

I give it a 4.5/10.

I thought I'd update this journal of mine to talk about X-Men 3.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand
Many people hated, liked, but didn't love it. I for one, liked the movie. It wasn't better than the 2nd one(which was great). I won't tell you the movie, but I'll tell you about a few characters.

1) Halle Berry and Dania Ramiez fighting scenes were hilarious to me. Halle got her butt kicked all over the place, when all she had to do was zap the brod in the first place! She did that at the last minute.

2) Iceman and Pyro. I wanted to knock the hell out of Pyro. He's the type of person who talks junk, tries to back it up, but he fails at doing so. He really thought he had Iceman when they battled. The best part in the movie was when Iceman turned to complete Ice on Pyro. It was great.

3) Phoenix. It seems like she has a big role in this film, but all she did was watched and listen to what others had to say. lol. She did her thing when it was time for it.

4) Shadowcat. She's one the newest faces of the movie. I really don't remember what she did besides run through walls.

5) Colossus. This is my favorite character and all the dude did was throw Wolverine in the air twice. I tell you, Colossus gets no love.

6) Rogue. She got on my nerves. All she wanted to do was be human, and makeout with her boyfriend.

7) Beast. I really liked his intelligence. Kelsey Grammar did a good job. IF there's another movie, I hope he's one of the X-men to return.

8) And last but not least, Wolverine. What can I say besides "Puppy love" ?

I can go on about the movie, but I'm stopping here. Ok I will say something else.

STAY SEATED AFTER THE CREDITS ROLL AT THE END.
