<sub>I've been thinking a lot lately about what I actually want to do with my personal project, Demon Cross. I still have no idea what it'll end up as [a story, a comic, a game, I have no clue.] but I have decided to make a lot of big changes.

Before, I was trying to ignore the fact that the plot was pretty much just the bastard lovechild of Silent Hill and Bioshock. [Vixx was effectively James Sunderland, and Synn itself was just Rapture. Herz was actually like a direct mix of Steinman and Pyramid Head, too.] I have decided to change this almost completely- thanks to listening to certain songs and reading the Alice stories again.

Demon Cross is one of those things I am really indecisive about. I just am not sure whether to do certain things with character designs or plot because I have no idea if they've been done before. I have this need to make everything unique and can't commit myself if I know that even the smallest thing had been done before. Which is why DC went nowhere with knowing how much of a ripoff it was.

My solution? Rewrite the whole damn thing; rework every single character, and incorporate another theme.

DC was pretty much just a straight-up psychological horror. I plan to keep this, just change the plot so it doesn't seem too SH-ish. And thanks to American McGee's Alice and my subconscious, it's now going to have a huge steampunk theme going on. Yeah.

My brain made my designs for the Timekeeper, Zeit, pretty damn steampunkish when I first designed him. It didn't even really occur to me at the time. But now, I am thankful for this total DURR moment in the design process. [Huge gears and clocks and bolts everywhere, what] This will probably lead me in a better direction for Demon Cross now.

So every one of my beloved characters is getting a redesign. There are some I am not sure what to do with, but I'll find solutions. [Creeper, Nayamou and Zylain, for example.] The plot, as I've said, is being changed, and I will probably be writing down notes for it instead of doing my English assignment, haha.

See, all I can draw lately is the characters in this RP group- so you can expect that, in the near fiture, there will be a lot of art of them.

Because they're fun to draw.
