They basically put some people together in a group, so that everyone can help everyone get a little better at what they do . I've been waiting for a while for a free group, and I just got one! I've also upated my "Lindorm" sketch, but haven't uploaded it yet. And I've begun on the Anime girl that AyumiFey dared me to draw . My third attempt at Illuminating went much better than the other's, and I just need to tweak the outlines a little bit before I'll upload it.

I'm almost finished with my third attempts at gilding, and with the outlines now in place you don't see the slightly uneven edges on it. Now I just need to do some more colouring and it should be ready for uploading.

Also I had an idea for a competition, namely that everyone with some experience in calligraphy write the same quote with the "wrong" hand. It would be interesting to say the least, so what do you think? It wouldn't be any fun if only I did it.

So, I've bought some gilding materials, and I'm experimenting with them right now. The first attempt failed miserably, even if I followed all instrudtions. The second was a little better, and we'll see if three makes the charm.

EDIT: To anyone reading this with any experience in gilding, I desperatly need tips on how to get my edges even. I just can't seem to do that, so I end up laying the sieze a little ouside the actual edge of the letter and scraping off the leftovers. btw, the third attempt went waay better than the previous ones, and appart from slightly uneven edges I'm kinda proud of the result. I need to do a few outlines on it first, and then I'll upload it.
