That's right, peeps, Negi-Magic is still around, and even if I don't have new things to show [mainly because I haven't worked on anything lately], I stopped by because... well, I haven't forgotten [/lie] about you people. ^^

But this is a problem, see? I came back to deviantart.com after so much ages, and see how much it has changed- like, people's arts have increased to such a level! Will I be able to catch up to these people?! D:

I'm sure peeps would be asking right about now: WTH have you been all this time?! Well, to be blunt, I've been focusing more on my writing rather than my art all this time. Writing, writing, and writing: it's all I've been doing all this time, in places all over the Net. I'm even participating in NaNoWriMo 2007 [short for National Novel Writing Month]!

On other topics, I may come back to drawing someday. I'm not about to abandon all the effort and all the passion I poured into my art during my peak days [/sounding old], and I'll definitely *not* just leave everything collapse and rust [like maybe I've already done D:]. But bear with me in this one, peoples. I promise you that Negi will come back stronger than evah! :3

My birthday has come and gone: no presents.
My college classes keep going on: no breaks.
My available time keeps getting shorter and shorter: I can barely manage to wake up at 5:30 AM twice per week to go to class at college.
I took some time to go to a local anime convention on Sunday the 4th: no new stuff, since I was broke and the only money I had I spent on food. Oh how I wish I had bought some Pocky at least...

The more I try to work towards a goal, the farther it seems to push away. But my spirit won't be defeated! I shall persevere! Life is but a string of work and work for me, but if I had enough time to let you all know how I'm doing, that means I have enough time to get new stuff done!

As says up there, I was *supposed* to have posted this on an earlier date, but nooo... no sooner I click that I get the dreaded white screen! And I forgot to copy the text just in case! Grrgh, I was so pissed! >.< But that's water under the bridge now.

Well people, the thing is this: I do have 2 wonderful drawings that are sure to please your eyes, but I haven't scanned them yet. As for my Internet disappearance... Well, I've been crossing the borders between sick, bored, sleepy, job-hunting, lazy, trying to draw, playing, etc. Bottom line: my Internet access is shorter than ever before. But fear not! With the arrival of my new volume of Negima! I hope to acquire a greater degree of inspiration in order to do more of the stuff you like to see. Because you like to see it, right? Or else I wouldn't be seeing so many favorites...

Well yes, here I am once again, bringing you more frequent updates in spite of the odd occurences of my life. ^^

First of all, I want to thank all the people who have supported what seem to be my two most looked-upon drawings as of late: my redentions of both Nodoka Miyazaki from Negima! and Satoshi Hiwatari from D.N.Angel. They have received favs and critics out of the wazoo... Thanks a lot, everyone! I shall continue to bring you only the very best!

Speaking of which, I have a new fanart, this time on Kotaro Inugami from Negima!, who is pretty accurately Negi's third rival (first and second being Eva and Chigusa, respectively) and one hell of a fighter, if I do say so myself. Soon to come, so be on the lookout!

Once again, hi to everyone. As says in my introductory title, I'm recently taking more and more time in the task of improving my drawing, since now I draw in an almost daily basis for 4 to 5 hours straight, mostly at night, but sometimes early in the morning. From what I heard from one of my best friends, , Japanese artists practice their art as soon as they wake up in the morning, so I figured to try using that method myself and weigh the result.

And what a result it's bringed! Within soon time I shall post my new deviation on Negima's lovable Nodoka Miyazaki, and all of you shall then be the ultimate judges of my skill progression! ^^ Or should I say advancement? Same thing!

I don't know what else to add... Hmm... Oh yes, I should get to play Radiata Stories and the new Fire Emblem soon... Maybe even pick up Gunstar Super Heroes when it comes out... Hrh, so many games will come out on this upcoming holiday season... Oh, and the new consoles will be coming along too, which one will I pick--? Decisions, decisions... Why am I so dramatic? What, don't you want to know why the great man of the 'Sharingan' Negi-magic hasn't posted his drawings when he said in his last journal that he had surefire access to scanner service in order to post them? He said that, didn't he? Well, yes, I guess he did. And I guess that that surefire access is still there, what, 2 miles away from my home? Sorry again!

As for me, I've experienced a reducement in work as of late, so that once again leaves me with enough necessary time to re-attune myself with my art and my devotion to all that is anime, manga, Ken Akamatsu, Retsu Tateo and Final Fantasy. Oh, and speaking of which, yes, I SENT FOR IT IN JAPAN AND IT ONLY COST ME $30 WITH SHIPPING AND HANDLING. What am I talking about? The utmost achievement in computer animation and without a doubt the best movie of 2005 and beyond: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

...and God said it was good. And the world rejoiced after some more than 2 years of agonizing wait.

The movie is GOOD-- no wait, the word good DOES NOT make it justice. IT MUST BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED!! The amount of realism is simply stunning, and the fight scenes will have you crying 'THE MATRIX SUCKS!' It's that good. You should, you know, watch it sometime. ^^

On other topics, did I mention I'm currently watching Advent Children, right? Good. Did I mention that I now have a grand total of 53 mangas? Maybe not. Oh, and I'm happy. Yes, very, very happy.

Now for the latest information in the (sadly) ever-delayful world of Negi...

As you all know by now (and if you don't, then you have the thickest head and I salute you), I don't have a scanner of my own. But so happens that I now have free access to one, courtesy of a friend of mine who just bought one, and as such you can expect the new fanarts to come by soon enough. This one I can be sure about.

On the topic of fanarts, some time ago I gave her nine fanarts that I wanted to post in time for my 1000 pageviews... well guess what: I never got all of them scanned! >.< But now that I DO have them again, I shall be updating them along with the most recent works. ^^

About myself? I'm still working, and as of late I've been incredibly busy in the way you wouldn't believe: trust me, between house chores, double working shifts and random errands, it's a miracle I've even had time to draw at all, much less gain computer access for long enough to update this DA page. Besides that, when I don't have inspiration to draw, I just go and chill somewhere for a while before trying again. I'm sure you will all agree on this as fellow artists. And quite skilled you all are, too. Seriously. That goes for both my watchers and my friends! ^^

Another thing that bothers me are all the issues that revolve around DeviantArt as of late. I have to thank for providing not only myself, but also to his watchers with the links of what's been happening. *bows* Thankees! And just so you know, I'm on Jark's side on all this. If there's anything I can do for support, let me know as soon as you can, please.

And on these lengthy notes I leave you all again. Fear not, for this time around the access is real, granted and 100% failproof. The only problem is finding enough time to make the trip...

There's really not much for me to say on this one update, but the fact that I have indeed and surely found an easy-to-access scanner that should keep you up in touch with my future fanarts. I APOLOGIZE AGAIN FOR THE LATE RESPONSES! >.< But to quote someone I don't know: quality makes up the quantity. And maybe the tardiness. ^^

So yeah, I'm still working, and I'm still pulling out whatever little time I have into drawing some more. As for my own self... I've been struck with flu and fevers at least 7 or 8 times in all of my long absence. And as I write this, I'm starving. And sleepy. So I'd better go and chew something out lest my stomach goes to sleep again...

Nothing.

Just so you know, I haven't given up drawing. WOE IS THE DAY WHEN NEGI-MAGIC GIVES UP HIS DRAWING!! The world will lose one more artist. Nothing more, nothing less.

On other topics, the previous scanner idea didn't work, and I ended up with a bad case of frustration jigglies and wibblies. I HATE when that happens. I ripped apart *four* drawings because I was so friggin' pissed!!

Was Negi so angered that he dared rip apart *four* of his drawings?! No.
Then why was Negi so angry that he dared rip apart *four* of his drawings?! People know. My lips and fingers will not say a word about it. At least not for now, and only to select people. Because they are the ones who will understand.

In a nutshell, it's something personal. Yeah, that sounds proper... But that doesn't mean you DA friends have to suffer because of it. No, I am the only martyr here. No one else. Well, on my case, anyway. Masybe some of you are dealing with troubles of your own, in which case I sincerely hope that everything turns out okay for you. Honest.

Now for what I meant about a new dream... I recently got my worldly possessions back from a friend of mine... 43 in total! O.O Even I didn't know they were so many! And if you're kinda lost, I'm talking about my mangas. My precious collections including all volumes of A.I. Love You, Love Hina, Negima! (until now) and .hack//Legend of the Twilight. Yesh, I am a lucky person in that aspect and maybe in that aspect alone. And along them came my new starter for a collection, Gunslinger Girl. This is very good series that I recommend you give it a shot. Courtesy of Yu Aida from ADV Manga. I will work on some fanarts for it soon enough...

And yes, on a final note, I miss you all very much. I miss not being able to see and hear about my RL friends as much as I want to, and because of that there is no possible way that I can know about their graces and pains to be there and share them with them. I miss you all, guys and gals!!

And as always, to all expectant deviants across the wonderful chain that is DeviantArt.com: Gomen ne. The drawings *should* be up already, but for reasons above mentioned, they are not here. It's not that I'm a lazy drawer, it's simply that I have nowhere else to help me with the scanner trouble on a local radius. Any of my close friends could give me some pointers?

Some of you might be asking, *What's with the journal name?* Well, here's the answer:

I've given up on Love Hina. TEMPORARILY. That's it, now scroll back and read that big word in caps again before you start bombing me with your critiques.

Why is this, you ask? Right now, I've been so engrossed in reading Negima! that all I do when I get home is flipping page after page searching for something to draw.

I'm NOT saying I won't do any more Love Hina fanarts, just in case. What I'm saying is that I'll take a break from doing *that* so that i can focus on drawing the Negima! character. ^^

After all, I revere Ken Akamatsu's works over every other manga I've read so far. So that's it. Hang on a sec while I hide behind that rock over there........ Now. You can throw the rocks now.

*sigh*

My life right now has been a mixture of happy occurences and just plain boredom, with the usual encasement in my room. I spent almost an entire day looking for something to draw, but when I tried drawing something, they were just *plain* horrible. I mean it. But on a brighter note, I HAVE NEGIMA! I just picked up the first volume, and I'm really excited, I really am. As I write this I've yet to read it, but I'll give it a shot when I get home about 2 hours from now.

This guy recommended that I should draw a full-body deviation instead of the usual torso-up and faces of characters, and I actually tried to do that. Only problem is, the hands were a bit... wrong. Well, not just a bit: they were just plain wrong. I'm working on somehow correcting them.

This girl keeps nagging me to draw something, and then color it. She got to see my new Naru drawing, and she was like 'I won't say it's ok, because it isn't. This is just too good.' And I was like 'Really? I don't think it's such a great deal...' Even if I squeal in delight each time I see it...

This other guy blamed my boredom and lack of drawing efforts to the fact that I need something else in my life. Well, I have work, Gaia Online, work, RuneScape, work, Love Hina, and some more work. But... I think I'll look for some other work that truly makes me feel useful. I'm also dealing with that, too.

So, bottom line? I'll keep on drawing, and and looking for something more fulfilling for my life not just right now, but something that will last for longer than whenever I think it's going to end. I know what I'm talking about, so don't worry if you don't understand.

*phew* That went on for longer than I thought. I spoke with a friend of mine, since I can't go to her home , and scan the drawings over there so that I can finally post them. Bye for now!

Well, it's been a week already, and what have I done? *Four* drawings, that's what. Sorreh, but I got unexpectedly hooked by playing my dusty Pokémon Silver O.o
At any rate, I already beat the Red trainer, so there isn't much about anything left for meh to do on *that*, so I should be able to focus on working on them drawings. I'll try and post the ones that I have right now, but don't count on it too much... I don't have a scanner at a nearby friendly hand anytime soon.

Then again, about my journal entry name, I believe I have attuned myself to Akamatsu-sama's style of drawing (Which took meh long enough), but that's what I think, anyway. If squealing in delight every time I see my new Naru drawing is any indication, then yes, that's what I believe. Anyhow, I'll let you be the judges once the drawings are posted. Until then...

Right, now to the *cough* important stuff:

DARN IT those screwy scanners converting my drawings into Bitmap images instead of JPEG! That's currently the situation I'm in, and that's why I haven't posted my other drawings... But don't worry! I'll probably have them up and running in about a day or two, less if everything goes smoothly. I have some (DARN IT TOO!!) writer's block, so I resort to drawing to, you know, sorta like free my mind. Be patient for the drawings! I have 3 more Love Hina fanarts!

On other more important topics, the sky is blue. Have you ever seen it in the light purple color? It's absolutely gorgeous... perfect for photos!

*Ahem* Guess I got sidetracked again... Anyway, within the next minutes (Or hours, maybe, a day or two in the worst case) my drawings should be up and running on the page, so get those fingers going and tell me what you think of them.
