When we got there, they had moved him and his mother into the nice and warm barn with a few other horses and a dog. So if the barn itself wasn't warm, the mom and Kuzco were deffinatly getting body heat from near by stalls. So right now they are in warm and dry conditions. When we entered the barn, Kuzco was out with the Farmer's mother and he was having a good ol time. He had been removed from the stall with his mother just for our visit.

It was also bottle time for him, so I got to feed him. While we waited for the Farmer's mother to come back with the bottle we got to play around with him. He was jumpin, kicking, wiggling, he was just a bundle of energy. His mommy watched us carefully as we actually held him, he's not that big. Even then, the little wiggle worm was still just a wiggling.

When the Farmer's mother came back with the bottle, Kuzco chugged the whole bottle down. Which the woman informed us was, instead of straight llama milk, was a combination of sheep and llama milk. She informed us that sheep's milk has a bit more nutrients in it than just straight llama milk. Also, we'd been informed that his mother has stopped giving milk altogether. We also discovered that Kuzco did have a close call.

We found out that on the 22sd, farmer and family discovered that Kuzco was nearly starved to death because he hadn't been getting milk from his mother. That is when they discovered the problem, so they emediatly began pumping milk straight to his stomach. After awhile he began to perk up and has since then been the bundle of energy previously discribed. After Kuzco had chugged the bottle we got to play with him more in the barn. He was actually so rambuncious that he crawled threw some stable bars into the riding arena they had in their barn, with a large horse still in there.

Luckly, it was a quarter horse that was so timid if you looked at him sourly he'd turn tail and hide. So I honestly don't think Kuzco was in danger. He even walked up beside the horse and they smelled each other. But we did get him out and determined that it was time for the little wiggle worm to go back in his stall with his mom. So all in all, I think the report deams Kuzco healthy, but don't hold my word solid.

We still have till Tuesday for the report to be confirmed, but after our little playtime and his exploration into the riding corral I think Kuzco's doing fine. If anything were wrong he'd be showing signs long before today. But still, just to be safe I'd still like to ask you guys keep him in your prayers. I don't like getting cocky, especially when people's or animal's health is in the mix. So please keep little Kuzco in your thoughts, thanks

However, here is where things are a little er...I'm not going to say scary, it's more of a twich. After a week they will know if his lack of real mommy milk will effect him. There is a certain vitamin in the mother's milk that they despritly need to jump into a good life of health. Now, he was born November the 18 and has been suckling like normal, but now that she is not producing the full ammount of milk they are worried that he hasn't had enough time to get all of the vitamin he needs. Now, in my opinion, with the smaller ammount he's getting from his mom added to the 6-8 times he's fed with the bottle I think it'll just make him fatter.

Now, otherwise he is fine. When she called, which she just did like a few minutes ago, she said he was perfectly healthy the way all baby llama's should be. The way they'll know if he hasn't gotten enough of the vitamin is that his health will take a nose dive. So this is where you all come in, I'd love to keep this little guy and I'd hate him to die before we even get him. So I ask you all to please pray for my little Kuzco, pray that he gets enough of this vitamin.

It's true, ok ok I should explain.

We've been looking for another big animal, and we've been pretty open. Which ever met our budget, or was such a good deal we'd be nuts to not take it. However, as of recent my dad has been more interested in either a Llama or an Alpaca. So he got wind of a baby llama who'd been born. He was unsure of it though, they wanted $300 for it and we wouldn't have been able to get it because it'd just been born and needed to be weened. He told me about it and I wanted to see it, but he was unsure if it was a good idea, see if I see it I'll want it and we weren't sure if we could afford it.

So for the longest I think he's never going to show me, I was pretty sure we were going to pass this baby by. But today my dad, on our way to the horse feed store, took a wrong turn. I was a tad confussed but then it hit me where he was taking me, to see the baby!!! We get there and this place was wild, you name it I think this lady had it. She was loaded.

She had any and all kinds of horses, turkeys, roosters(no hens), hundreds of jack russel terriers, an australian sheep dog,a great pyraneese and her puppy, mutts, MANY cats, goats of all shapes and sizes, a few sheep, an emu, bandicoots, llamas, AND MONKEYS!!!! She had hundreds of everything. We'd delt with this woman before, or rather my dad had, this was where he got my goats Ben and Jerry. And when he came for them this lady even had a WILDABEAST!!! So this chick had or has had almost anything under God's sun.

But we was on a mission, she walked us to the nursery pasture, but instead of the one mommy llama and baby llama there was another pair. The woman said that this one was a surprise. She had just walked out one morning to check on the llamas and there was this new baby. It was born on my parents anniversary, Nov.18th. So this thing was BRAND NEW.

Now the one dad had been told of, had been marked as sold. However, this brand new one, an all chocolate brown male, was unsold. He was cheaper, $200. My dad said yes! So we have a new baby Llama named Kuzco.

Now, since he was just born a couple days ago we won't be able to bring him home until March. That gives time for them to ween him and halter break him. My dad tried to pay her today and she said for us to wait. She said that would be best, for if something bad should happen (which she was pretty positive wouldn't happen) we wouldn't be out any money, so she was deffinatly looking out for us all the way. So you guys can be sure to see Kuzco pictures coming up this March. Eee! I am so excited!!

Ok, this story begins where my last journal ended. The next day after I Decided to try and...sort of apologize for hitting Rico, my horse, across the nose so hard. So while I discussed how rudely he'd acted I groomed him. Well, he decided he wanted to fight me in his stall. This was not the best area for him to do battle with me so I popped his jaw again, though not nearly as hard as the day before.

Well that calmed him down a little bit and I continued. When I got to cleaning his last hoof he was obviously threw with acting nice and started acting up agian. He would move around, fidget, paw at the ground, anything he could do to keep me from that last hoof. Well I was growing irritated, so I stuffed my hoof pick down into my utility belt and leaned against the wall. I told him..

"Rico, you know how to get out of here and back to the pasture to eat. Now I'm not leaving without getting that last hoof and neither are you. Make your choice," And with that I stood there. He would lower his head and give me this 'go to hell' look, paw at the ground, look back up at me with the same glare, paw at the ground, this went on for about 5 minutes until at last he stopped moving.

So I gave him this 'are you ready now?' look and went for the last hoof. He gave it up with no fight and I finished. And true to my word I released him back to graze. Well, I kept this up for around a week and a half (give or take a few days), and my dad happened to notice Rico's progress. By now I had gotten to brushing Rico's tail which is a MAJOR leap forward, he hates his tail to be touched let alone combed.

My dad made the comment that Rico was being so good that maybe it was time for us to try and saddle him. Now, we've tried this before around a couple months or so after we got Rico and it was a horrific failure. But I had to agree with him, Rico was being fantastic in behavior and I thought that maybe he was good enough to at the very least try and put the saddle blanket on. Now if you've not been following this drama, Rico is completly untrained. He is the equivilant of a mustang.

We rescued Rico from our local Animal Control Officer. So we can only be lead to believe that Rico came from...not so good pastures, before us. So we can only assume that this is why he is so hard to work with, humans haven't been his friend. So this saddle thing is very dangerous water for us. And it's not a light weight english saddle, oh no, it's one heavy ass western style saddle.

So during our first failures, I think I wasn't helpful. I wasn't strong enough to smoothly put it on his back. So it was sort of roughly done and that didn't help any. So yesterday afternoon I finished grooming Rico and my dad came out with the dreaded saddle DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUH

Well Rico instantly tenced and started to fight. Well by now I had figured out when soothing words didn't work...head locks finish the job. I grabbed his ear and twisted it like a wet rag.

( FACT PAUSE!!! Did you know that horses have nerves in their lips, ears, and a part of their shoulder area that if you grab and twist it will instantly calm the wild horse, sort of a pressure point. it doesn't hurt them, just gets them to sit there and take 5 while you still work)

Rico lowered his head with my ear twist and we actually got the saddle on and strapped up. Now this whole prosses took about er..roughly 1-2 minutes perhapes less time. Now for this wild horse, this is a LARGE step toward success. We let him stand there for a few minutes just to absorb the fact that there was something on him. Then we quickly took it off and he was free once more.

Well, after this we now have to put this into his everyday routine so he can get used to it. So today we walked out there, groomed him as usual and held him down while we got him ready. But today I didn't have to hold his ear!!! And we got it on him and strapped up even faster!!! But now came the real test, letting him walk with it on.

Now his stall is big enough he can walk around and get a good jog going, but it's not an enormous stall. Well, in the past once we released him he would flip out, run around like he was insane, trip and fall, it was caios. But we released him into his stall with the hopes that there wouldn;t be any room for him to get seriously hurt. Plus we were right there at the door in case things did turn sour. We let him go, ran out the door and he went nuts.

He actually tried to jump the side of his stall, but there was an overhanging that caught his head and he got back down when he relized 'oh, I can't jump out that way'. When he got back down of the wall he stood there. Now this is where things get amazing, and idk if it's just me who notice things like this, but it was amazing none the less. I actually saw Rico, think.

My father is too old to risk having this bucking broco hurt him, and regretably I am too affraid of him to get far enough along with the training by myself. We don't have the proper training area/fundage to let someone else train him for us, so you can see where the hopelessness begins. But today was almost the best day ever. I Was able to groom Rico with barely any fuss. Well, he did get adgitated, but eventually I faught him down and he was an angel.

I got to clean everything about him, which is something very good. Once he was all brushed and clean and he still seemed calm I was curious. I had as of yet never been able to touch his hooves without basically knocking him out and tying him down. So I was affraid this would end badly, I slid my hand down and actually lifted his hoof up and clean it. I was so excited, I tried one more.

I was able to clean another hoof, then another until all four hooves were clean! I was beside myself with joy. You have no idea how good of a sign this is for him. Then I proceeded to put them out to pasture to eat, were things too a nose dive. I was trying to put Rico in another pasture that had more grass, well since we have no fenced in yard we stake them out.

I was having to fight him with one hand, he was hungry and didn't like me waisting his chow time, and trying to loop his lead rope to our RV so he could eat in our front yard where the most grass was (he's still slightly underweight so he gets the grassier areas). Well while fighting him, he yanked and I dropped the clip which clanked on the side of the RV. The way I was holding him, if I had held on he would have broken my wrist, so I had no choice but to let go. Naturally he took off across the property, and naturally I trot after him. This is all while people are driving to and from my mom's business at our home.

Eventually one of her customers informed her that it looked like I needed help, by now I had been chasing him for around an hour and across three property lines. I was tired, furious, and I think I had an asma attack. And this horse was still not coming to me. Eventually mom came out to help me. I caught him with her help, but lost him again...after I gave him the strongest bitch slap across the snout I ever have. We eventually caught him again and locked him in his stall where he resides now.

But this only makes my point, I think for my family at least, that it's time to trade Rico in for a horse we can handle. But that brings up a huge moral decission. I am sure there is someone out there who can handle Rico, but it's not us. We're seriously debating going to someone and looking for a trade, a broke, managable horse for a wild young gelding. But I can't help but thinking from his point of view. Obviously if a trade occures, the new horse will be brought to the house and Rico loaded in his place. I can only imagine.

The pain, what if he feels like I've abandoned him. Asking in that sweet mental voice "Why are you letting them take me?". Just the idea, imagining his face, it makes me wanna cry. I don't know what to do, it's rounding on a year this has been going on. He just turned 3 this spring and everyone is hounding me and my father, we need to train him now and train him hard. But we don't have what it needs. I'm so confused

Many police search and rescue K9s lost their lives or sustaned serious injuries through searching the smoke filled air and basically moltent stone and steal that trapped the still surviving people. Nearly half of the survivors can contribute their lives to these faithful officers of the law, even if they do walk on four legs.

I'll give you this to wet your knowledge taste buds, but I urge you to dig further. And not only moarn the loss of the humans lost and praise those who survived. But also moarn the K9 officers who lost their lives rescuing people for those grusome days afterward, and praise the service dogs who worked INSIDE the building and lead their masters and many others inside to safety.

The day has come! The oath giver will come! Her illness mended, her oath soon to be given! The dog sits and sits and sits and sits, they'll come today, they will for sure. But everyone says the oath giver won't come. The dog doesn't believe them, the oath giver gave an oath, and it was evil to break an oath. Who would ever break an oath?

And even now the dog waits, her faith in the oath giver fading each day. But she sits and sits and sits and sits, she gave the oath giver her oath that she would not leave. She'd be there, she would, but would the oath giver return the loyalty? Or did the oath giver find a better place, a place where all their needs are met. A place where the dog could never make them happy.

Is the dog doomed to await someone who will never come? Or will someone take her in?

So, Friday's my brithday. Also, about a couple of weeks ago I learned our dear friend woke from his chemical enduced coma. He's sluggish and tired, but in perfect spirits. So are the doctors, they think they've finally hit the nail on the head this time. However, prayer is still encouraged. He's eager to get home and say hi to everyone, and with your help he'll be here even faster.

He's successfully out of surgery, but to let his heart heal and regulate the beats he's under heavy sedation...most likely he'll sleep right threw christmas. Keep praying

Things started out iffy, mom got pissy cause I was wearing a fuckin black shirt and my parents think I'm going gothic even though we've had 5 fuckin million heart to hearts that swear to them otherwise. So I had to change shirts before I could even walk out the door.

Today was sapposed to be about me. Seriously, we were going to the Folklore Festival, then to get me an expensive jacket I've wanted for 3 years, then go to my favorite halloween store to get ideas for costumes for my baby Sam (pomeranian), then going to go see that Beverly Hills Chiuauas(Sp?) movie. It was perfectly planned out, not hitches, no wrinkles. PERFECTLY planned. Guess my parents wanted their own wrinkles.

Well, after that stupid shirt incident things were alright. Nothing really negative happened at the Folklore festival that was bad. Spent money at one stand when I could have spent it on another, but nothing majorly wrong. Until we dicided to leave. They had these pickled squash (I know, yuck, but it was very good I swear) that I wanted cause it was yummy, but mom said no and she wouldn't give a reason why. All I need is a lagitamite reason and I'll leave something alone, but if it's a stupid reason or they won't give me one I push it.

So my dad and his non existant fuse forced an answer out of her that actually made sence. She didn't want to spend it there because she didn't want to use up all the cash we had. And venders don't take credit cards. Now she was open to buying it at a store cause she could use her card, but she wanted to save our cash for more important things. Point is we had to piss my dad off to get that answer. Then it cooled down and things were pretty ok for like 1 half a second. NExt was the jacket that I've wanted for 3 years.

It's a Northface jacket, a very expensive brand of outdoor wear jackets that ALL the kids in my school wear. Now honestly, I take that as "well, if everyone's using it then it must be a very good coat. Keep the wind out an all" put my parents swear that I'm fuckin lying and it's just because everyone's wearing. But I'm getting ahead of myself. During our yardsale last week, we made a little bit over $100, and mom said and I quote...

"you were the only one to help me set this yardsale up and you stuck with me threw the whole thing. I will use this money to get you a Northface Jacket,"

It was straight to the point, no differences, no exeptions, no anything. A NORTHFACE JACKET. She swore to it, she saved the money FOR the jacket. We get there and I am just estatic cause I'm finally getting one of these bad boys. We get there and I run right up to THE jacket I want, the one I knew she knew I wanted, the one I was dead sure she was ready to fork over the cash to buy. I was apparently DEAD WRONG.

My mom has this nasty habit of cutting corners when it comes to money, now most of the time in today's econemy that is a very good skill, but to put my mom in prospective for you. She'd cut so many damned corners that she'd end up being buried in a comunity burial lot in a cardboard box!!!!!!!!! It'd nerve wracking and tends to ruin the buzz on anything you're shopping for.

So she emediatly starts cutting. Eventually cuts me down to accepting a lesser, but still warm Northface. Same brand, just a bit cheaper and not as thick, but still good. BUT they didn't have one in the exact size that would fit me well. So, we dicide to put it down and go to the sports store only a few blocks away. Everthing going sort of alright, a small bump, but no big. IF you can get what you want cheaper, it helps everybody right? WRONG!!!

We get to the store and find everything is the exact same price as the other store, but we do find the exact jacket I wanted in a kids size that fit me perfectly and it fit in our budget. So everything should be happy right? WRONG! To get said jacket, I had to piss my dad off. He went the high road and saying that once I got my mind made up that nothing could change it, in basic words he had just called his own daughter a BRAT. I was trying so hard to not cry in this big ol man store. But my mom wore him down and he clamed up and I got my perfect jacket. At a personal price worth more than what was on that tag.

I hate making people mad to get what I want, it makes me feel like a bitch and I can't look at that item anymore cause I knew I had to take the dirty road to get it even if they go ahead and say it's ok. I feel so bad and it makes me wanna cry really hard and no one will hug me and tell me I was right, I'm always ALWAYS wrong!!!

Then things perked up, we went searching for Underdog costumes, which is what I wanted my Sammy to be for Halloween. We looked around and couldn't find one. My mom said "hey, lets look at Petsmart" which is my favorite pet store and it's like pulling teeth to get them to go. I'm going to Myrtle Beach this weekend and will be gone Saturday-Wednesday (Give or take a day). I may be leaving tomorrow at 5:30, but that is still undecided because we may leave Saturday.

I don't know much to say, but please pray for the citizens of Dujiangyan and all those who are surffering from the earthquake. I'd even just heard a report that a high school that fell during the earthquake that held (if I remember correctly) 900 students, all the students died. Possibly one survived after a teacher heard him crying out. But whether all or all but one, so many children died...are dead. So many adults are dead. This is even worse than the storms of New Orleans, a city which I hold very close to my heart because of its beauty and history.

It hurt even more, when I heard on the T.V a woman crying because her husband had died and his body was tossed by another on a sheet of wood like it was nothing to throw this woman's husband of who knows how many years aside like garbage. But they had no choice. Many more needed the soldier's time to save them, or move more dead to get to those who might still be alive.

And that is not the only place in China crying. Another is suffering from a cyclone. A boy lived because his parents tied a rubber floaty to him, but they drowned. The town is small and has no orphanage(Though I do not support them, it would still be a place of shelter for the boy).

China is crying tonight. They dig for the dead while we wallow in the thought of upcoming summer vacation. Take a moment, everyone, to pray for China. They arn't blessed the fact of not being on fault. They arn't blessed with the fact that they won't be taken down by another storm. Some won't have a parent to hug them tonight, some won't have a child to tuck in. Women don't have a husband or boyfriend to tell them they love them and everything will be alright. And men don't have a wife or girlfriend to make everything nice. Kids don't have their faithful puppy. Senior citizens don't have Fluffy the cat to hug closee. Everyone has lost someone there, pray for them. Pray for a bleeding China.

Now when the ticker isn't acting up, though his steps are limited by the ticker, he seems happy healthy, and always ready for a good story. But when it acts up, it may be he only needs a nap...or worse.

I'm not saying I'm phycic or anything, but I've inherited from my father a sence of wrong, ya know the disturbance in the force deal. And I can feel when something is wrong. And I have felt it before with my friend, and apon him getting back online he informes me of hospital stays. Now this might just be a faulty computer, I have seen a coment of that on his page, but my esp is kicking up and I feel something's wrong. And each time I do, I pray for him to get healthy and simply send a quick "hi, I'm alive," just to know he's alright. But I've been praying for two weeks straight..and my feelings have only gotten worse instread of better.

So...to anyone who cares to read, I don't know if my praing is doing anything, maybe..if I get more people to help me. Maybe I'll be heard, I ask anyone who will listen to pray for my friend, he's really close to me, almost like my big brother. I only ask you slip him into your praiers, I don't think my praiers are big enough to do it alone.

MY sweet Sixteen is coming up on February 6th! I'm so excited!!! I can't wait for it!


I just go an early B-Day gift, a silver Envy phone!!!! it's a million times better than my old one!!!! And I got a clip on cover to go over it that's blue with habiscus flowers on it! In honor of Orby! YAY ME!

I can't wait, the weekend before I will be having my birthday party. The only bad part about my birthday is it's on a wednesday so that's why I'm having it the Saturday or Friday before. I could use some help on deciding that part

But I will be taking my party goers out to eat, the restaurant will be where my party is held so that I can have some guy friends over to my party. For those who don't know about the Spanish Flu character (Disign belongs to Bleedingcrow), they grow in three stages. First is a chick, then a squab. Then when they reach adult hood is when their gender becomes clear. It can ether be a cock or a hen. Cock=male hen=female. But I can't decide what to make Aaron. Please help!

Steve was my idol growing up and ever after I grew up a bit and forgot he even existed. My heart ackes and my throught tightens when I hear his voice on TV, the man was a gift to earth. We miss you Steve

Many reports in Australia have found stingrays mutilated and killed on the beaches. Please, do not blame these creatures known as the oceans "Pussycats". The stingray was only doing what he thought was protecting itself and Steve knew the risks he was taking. Steve nore the stingrays should be blamed for this tragic turn of events
