We all remember that day eight years ago. We all woke up, expecting nothing to be wrong. Some were away on school trips, some were too young to remember exactly, but I was ten years old. My mother woke me up and rushed me downstairs shortly after I had gotten dressed. And there, I watched again and again as the towers were hit by the planes and then watched them fall. Back then, I certainly knew that the human race could carry out horrible crimes against each other, but that was way beyond anything I had ever seen or heard of.

"I'm in shock." I remember saying to my mother. "I'm in serious shock."

On 9/11, I always take a moment of silence, but I already did my moment. But this shall hopefully make me remember for as long as I may live. We were hit badly, and we have bounced back.

1) Othello Michael Wayatson

-Well, Othello used to have a black eye and a white eye and the name came from the game Othello where you have pieces that are black on one side and white on the other. Michael was the name of a guy I liked back in high school and Wayatson came out of the blue. No idea where that sprung from.
- Oh jesus... Well, he was my second character ever born, back almost five years ago. I was obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist and so I created an alchemist. Mostly, I just wanted someone with red hair who looked cool.
-He has changed so much. Originally, he was a fan character for the show stated above. Sweet, strategic, and brave. Since then, he's become more skittish, secretive, but still sweet. He became paler than I had originally had him, and his eyes became deep blue, one a light, grey-blue due to blindness, but the red hair stayed.
-He's ambidextrous.

2) Nyoka Emmerson Solomon

-My Mr. Mouthful. His name came from all sorts of places. Originally, he too was a fan character for the same show, a snake chimera. Nyoka means snake in African. Back then, he had no last name. It came recently at the beckoning of his coloring, which is like a desert. Solomon is brand new. His old last name used to mean 'Of The Sun', but it was time to be changed. The middle name comes from my making it up or hearing it somewhere.
-As I said, he was a fan character because I was an uber fan girl. And I wanted a snake chimera. End of story.
-After I got out of the Fullmetal fandom, he became a lizard wizard, and then he became a naga because I was looking around on this site and liked the way they looked. And he's stayed like that since. Coloring's changed now and again, but that's about it.
-He can unhinge his jaw and he sees in ultraviolet.

3) Allison Morgan Newman
-It started out as just 'Allie'. She had no middle or last name. Those came later as I was trying to tie up the loose ends. Then I figured, 'Allie is a nickname, not a full name.' so I changed it to Allison.
-She was made as a part of a project to have a story from each of the continents of Inlya: Mor'Salla, Ark, Opestrus, Consenia, Marxsos, and Asergia. She was Asergia's story and I got her initial idea from watching Iron Man. She's only a couple years old, but one of my most treasured.
-She hasn't changed all that much. Some of her facial features, and bits of her personality and her clothing sense. Those were about it.
-She has an IQ of 188 and she invented electric rocket boots.

"I... I uh... hmm. I listen to people and don't hit them when they're annoying? I try to help them solve their problems. I like to cheer people up... I usually buy people dinner before having sex... and I rescue kittens from trees~"
(Me: No, he does not rescue kittens. He figures that they will just get down on their own one way or another.)

2. What about you is social? What do you like about people?
"Everything about me is social! I love people. I love talking to people, being around people, dancing with people, doing fun things with people, fucking hot guys... you get the idea. I couldn't stand to not be around people. They're great!"

3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group?
"Like, with my boyfriends? I am always on top. They don't need to do anything but sit back, relax and enjoy the ride~"
(Me: He is an understanding guy who can act as a middle man if need be. And he is fairly adaptable. He rolls with punches.)

4. Why would you choose to join the current group?
"God... that's an interesting story. You see, I met them after the big ass family reunion we have, like, every two years or something. I was trying to hit on Joey and Kane came over to why he was freaking out and it sort of went from there. I like cute guys with nice bodies. And Kane's accent ain't bad either."

5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)?
"The world's population has been reduced to almost nothing and must be rebuilt!"
(Me: What can I say? He's an utter nympho just like his great-great-great-great-great grandfather was.)

"My name is Arlen Edmund Soliel, but Arlen works perfectly."

"I have a couple. 'Len is most commonly used by people who know me but my younger brother calls me 'Arlen the Great' for some strange reason. I think he's crazy."

"I am twenty-two feet long from the top of my head to the tip of my tail and weigh more than I care to weigh but weigh that much much the same. I am thirty years old and have short spiky black hair, dark gold eyes, kinda tan skin and blue and green scales that just didn't feel like staying where they ought to."
(Me: In accordance to his age, he is still young, before his prime. He's in his second year of college. He just matures slower than we do.)

4. How do you dress most of the time?
"Uhhh... I don't have legs so no pants... but I have to wear a hip cloth outside. And no it's not a skirt! And no shirts. I hate shirts."
(Me: He likes to wander around in his house with no clothing, but since what you can see really isn't that "Offensive" he has been known to accidentally known to go outside like that on accident when getting the mail.)

5. How do you "dress up?"
"I wear nice jewelry and a nice... shirt. Yuck. With a tie even! Icky."

6. How do you "dress down?"
"Au Naturale. Oh yeah."

7. What do you wear when you go to sleep?
"I wear something when I sleep?"

"Sometimes, usually on special occasions or events. I had my ears pierced but they got infected so I had to let them close. But if it looks nice, I couldn't care if it was one dollar or ten thousand."

"My sexy ass!"
(Me: He doesn't really have what we would call a butt, he is a naga after all. He likes his eyes the best.)

"I live in a three story house in Dodger Falls. We usually keep it clean, but sometimes I 'forget' to clean up certain things like my room."

A: My name is Allison Morgan Newman, but Allie is what everyone calls me by. Allison is used when I'm in trouble.

A: I have two that rival each other: Gun Metal Gray, the metallic kind, and the kind of green well watered and well tended grass is.

A: I have no favorite. I hold several in the highest regard in terms of the literary world, but to give you an example, I like J. D. Salinger.

10. Now what's your biggest fear?

A: I'm afraid of quite a few things, but that's because I know better than to be stupidly fearless. Only stupid people (or people who have all the cards) are fearless. But, my biggest fear is a race of people known as Panterians. They live on Asergia on Inlya. Remember the guy I liked? Yah, they did that to him.

Wow! Blew my mind. The acting was excellent, the storyline was great and stuck very close to the actual graphic novel, and the... wow! If only you could see me dragging my fingers down my face because the 'Wow' factor! Only made better by the fact I saw it on the six story screen called the IMAX theatre. Please, please, please! Yes, there is nudity and sex, but not as much as I thought it would be (according to previous reviews).

Washington was hit with a rather large cold front from Canada, bringing with it icy temperatures, slick roads, but most of all, SNOW! And lots of it. So far I have seen a 3+ inch snowfall where I am with a predicted nasty storm on the way tomorrow. Predictions start at 40 mph winds and freezing rain. Goody.

But with the snow came early closure of school. It was wonderful! Started Wednesday, though we didn't know it until yesterday when they pronounced the schools closed yesterday and today.

Oh, and going to see the Nutcracker. Hope it's as great as it sounds~

BANNED BOOKS!

I just don't get it. If we are such a free country, then why do we have such censorship of things that people write? What about the first amendment? The first thing on the Bill Of Rights? It says there that we have the freedom of speech, freedom of peaceful assembly, freedom to petition the government AND, here's the kicker, FREEDOM OF PRESS! That means we have the right to write and print whatever the fuck we want!

Now, I can understand that a few books have a few words that are no longer socially accepted but did they really have to ban them? Seriously, they were products of a time period that accepted such things!

My favorite book censor has to be of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, which is a good book by the way. In some school, dunno where for I forgot, they blacked out words like 'hell' and 'damn' IN A BOOK THAT WAS ABOUT BOOK BURNING AND CENSORSHIP! That is seriously funny shit, don't you agree? We are that desperate to keep our children from learning words they probably hear everyday at school and, sometimes, home.

I mean, for Christ's sake! They tried to ban a lot of books for such reasons as: '

romotes mysticism, crystal balls, demons, disobedience, witchcraft, homosexuality (One school in fact did this: Removed Shakespeare's Twelfth Night from a Merrimack, N.H. high school English class (1996) because of a policy that bans instruction which has "the effect of encouraging or supporting homosexuality as a positive lifestyle alternative."), and other such reasons. How stupid (Beware, I do support gays, lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals, transsexuals and and many others whole heartedly.).

But, my favorite reason for banning a book, the book in question was A Wrinkle In Time, has to be this:

The complainant objected to the book's listing the name of Jesus Christ together with the names of great artists, philosophers, scientists, and religious leaders when referring to those who defend earth against evil.

I CHANGED IT TO INCLUDE GIRLS. (I think it was a yaoi thingy at one point... not anymore)

1. So, what original character do you enjoy writing about currently, and what story is he/she from? How would you describe him/her physically? (Blue-haired mammoth alien? Green-eyed cat boy/girl with a baby face?) Does he/she top or bottom more often?

Anna Bell Beech. She is a human/siren mix and she stands around 6'0 tall in bare feet and is described as 'A stick with hips'. She has glossy, medium length platinum blonde hair, wide sky blue eyes and Elmer's glue pale skin. She's from a story out of nowhere, like most of my characters. She is long and thin, almost like a willow, except with a lot more attitude. Her face is as long as her body with a Grecian nose but with lips slightly on the plump side.

And, when she finally does do the dirty, she'd so top.

2. He/She sounds fascinating. So in the spirit of creativity, hereÂs something for you to do. Write us a scene of your character either going to a royal tea party wearing a dress, flying on a spaceship during rush hour, or fighting off giant crickets in a forest.

Alright. Here we go.

"If you ever make me do this again, I will cut out your heart and feed it to you!" Anna growled as the maid tightened the back of the long dress that seemed to weigh fifty pounds alone. And that was without all the frilly stuff that had to go underneath.
"Sorry. But you have to look proper for when the Prince comes." Her father scolded. "And you must not swear in front of him. And for god sakes! Never, EVER, talk about your hobby."
"I don't think I'll be able to breath after this is done, let alone talk!" She gasped at a tight pull. The maid tied it up and then left the room and Anna came out from behind the screen in a soft blue Victorian style dress with a long train behind it. She was less than pleased.
"And there is nothing wrong with mud wrestling..." She muttered, walking out of the room.

Later that night, as she put on her best smile, she couldn't help but feel disgusted at the fact that she was being made to wear a dress.
"Dad is so lucky that I owe him for punching him a month ago."
Don't talk with your mouth full, don't speak until spoken to, keep your pinky out when drinking, cross your ankles, smile, act interested, eat slowly and don't ever, EVER, talk about your hobby.

3. How interesting. I can see why you like writing about him/her. Just out of curiosity, is there anything about him/her that reminds you of yourself? If there is, what is it?

She has the attitude that I have always wanted to have: 'Do what I want, when I want, on my own time. Not on yours.'

4. VERY interesting. Tell us, who is your characterÂs current partner (or partners)? How would you describe him (them)?
She has a boyfriend who is just as wild as she is. His name is Gregory and he keeps up with her jokes, her attitude and gives her hugs when she wants them. He stands around 6'4 with black hair, dark blue eyes and tannish skin. He is built like a track star: long legs and skinny torso.

5. They sound like a fun couple. How about you write us a little scene showing what theyÂd do if they were trapped in a cabin together during a blizzard with chocolate syrup, a velvet rope, andÂ a live chicken.

"Freak Blizzard much?" Gregory mentioned, looking out at the thick, fast falling snowflakes.
"Freak Chicken much? WHat was a live chicken doing in the fridge? And why was it there?" Anna came out, holding a slightly chilled chicken, it's feathers pressed close to it's body.
"You said you liked chickens~" He smirked, turning back to her.
"To eat! Live ones poop too much." She put the bird down and put a hand on her hip, something she was very good at. She was smirking right back at him. But, her smirk was one of mischief, mischief not yet done. It gave Gregory goosebumps.

He's usually depressed in the mornings before he has really woken up.

He's quiet usually, somewhat shy, kind but in more of a fatherly way than anything. But because he's so quiet, he is quite distant from normal society; preferring to be alone in his home writing music than socializing. History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
His father is still alive somewhere across the country and his mother is, he's pretty sure, still divorced and still living in a mysterious place like she always has. Then, of course, there is his twin which his mother took away when they divorced. He only found out about him recently.

Yes. He up and moved out when he went off to collage, living with his buddies.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
When he was five, he slipped on the wet wood in his entryway and fell, cracking his head on the stair that led up to his door. This caused his eyesight to diminish, along with a couple of IQ points, but one eye went completely blind.

Finding out he had a brother and finding out that the girl he liked had mutual feelings for him.

Some of us ARE mature enough to look at nude pictures and photos and some aren't. That's why you were able to keep it on OR turn it off. Some of us may even want to use some of these said things for references for body and such. Maybe I want to learn how to draw breasts better, or a specific pose of the body that may have been in the nude! Some of the pictures...no many pictures in my gallery I often use for reference and now I can't look at them! What if the person was seventeen? Or just under eighteen? Theirs is turned on too!

This just frustrates me to no end.

What was surprising was that my friend aka stayed for just as long as I did. I was actually the one who forced her to go home...

But that's that.

Got there at about 10:30 am and spent two hours in line to register. After that, we walked around, found friends old and new until about three when Madeline found us in a miraculous twist of fate and were willingly dragged into the autograph line for Vic Mognonia! After another two and a half hours and three line changes, we stood at the stand...(Will be uploading pictures later) and I got his autograph and I nearly cried with joy. I'm serious...

In between those times, I took a memory card full of photos fulled with cosplayers.
