As I just demonstrated you can easily point to the opposite group and make some statement about them and why they follow that train of thought. Point to the "law" group and you can easily say they hate fanartists and anime. Point to the "pedo" group and you can easily say they want to ass rape a 5 year old.
But regardless, I've noticed that the "pedo" group are much more thick in the head about the policy. Apparently they ignored the policy when they first joined up and when they're blatantly told about the policy later on they pull every excuse out of their ass to keep clothing off their 15 year old characters.

At first I didn't know what to think of them. I came to the conclusion that maybe they were attracted to these little characters and got annoyed when someone pointed out they were wrong, because human beings can't ever admit to being wrong for some reason or admit that they're weird/need help.
But now that I've seen more reactions and given it some thought I came to a new conclusion that they're all a bunch of attention whores.

Hear me out. When they first join dA they must have uploaded some original art but never got any comments about it. On a whim they drew some Naruto character in lingerie, then BOOM. Comments came from everywhere about how awesome it is and the user discovered that popular characters + sex = precious pageviews. So they continued to create these images so that other users can stroke their pulsing ego.

Later on their images were removed because a good samaritan found their gallery and reported it. Now they discovered that they can't use their "formula" which will result in less pageviews for them. Rather than admitting that what they did was bad, create original art and act like a real artist they decided to bitch, whine, throw a hissy-fit with a hair up their ass all because they now can't get ass-kissed by blind sheep.


It would be awesome if this journal got onto the Today page so that everyone can hear me say YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF ATTENTION WHORES!

I gotta say it was probably my favourite bornday of all time. Mainly because I got a 360 Elite. So now I can finally catch up with this generation of gaming (I'm not counting the Wii at this moment).
Now I need to catch up with everybody else with Achievements.

I got a 21st cup, but accidentally broke it a few days later [link]

and I obtained a new Necklace, which is fairly nice.

Probably the biggest surprise I got was the "Death Note" movies. I wasn't expecting that at all.


Now I've just gotta get my life on track with a job soon. But since I'm now 21 I've applied to receive money from the Government. Those bastards have never given our family any money and would rather give it to some immature punk that spends it all on beer.

But don't take it so literal. I played it a lot back when I first played it, kinda on/off thing. After several years, to about the start of last year (maybe) I deleted my original file and started again. I got through the beginning and stopped at the second or third boss for a long time. Then at the start of this year, I picked it back up again and got into it again, playing it on and off then stopped playing. Then recently I was so determined to finish it that I forced myself into it until I at least finished the main story. Which I did (and I also found out that my first saved file that I deleted was just outside the final dungeon).

It's not a bad game, it's actually pretty good. The story is really interesting and fairly original and the gameplay is pretty good (although it is really complicated). You could probably get through most of the whole game not understanding it and just fluking it (which I probably did when I first got it).
I guess I was always distracted by other games. Not too sure why I didn't play it despite the fact that I liked it.

I recommend the game though, to RPG fans or just Square fans. Although I wouldn't hold it against you if the gameplay gives you a mindfuck and you quit early on.


I also went and saw Yahtzee (Zero Punctuation) on Thursday for a discussion.

It was fairly good, got a few laughs (especially when Yahtzee started mocking someone in the crowd and brought attention to it when the guy tried to interrupt him). He's not a mean guy, just speaks his mind a lot and is up for a talk if you're not too much of a fanboy to piss him off. Which is kind of a problem since you could have a fairly intelligent discussion with him (I know I wanted to), even if you want to discuss something he's wrong about, but all his fantards would get in your way and you'll never have a chance to talk to him.

Before we saw him my friends and I went to Crowns Casino. My friend first spent 40 bucks at a table, winning some losing some, then lost it all. He then spent another 50, 10 for each friend and 20 for himself (in a game where 10 was the price to bet). Everybody lost except for me. I left that table with 160 bucks. But I spent about 15 on drinks for us all and gave the friend who spent 90 a 50 note.

After that 2 of my friends went and saw Hancock while me and another decided to go to the arcade at the last minute (it's like the last arcade left in Australia). We played a few arcade games, like Mario Kart (which was bad and sucked your money dry if you would like that series) and the Silent Hill arcade game. Which was fun, especially when we learned that you could still get points and a combo multiplier if you kept shooting the dead corpses of the enemies you've already shot.

Then we went to a Claw machine where I got a plushie on my first try, which annoyed my friend and he spent about 30-35 bucks trying to get his own plushie to show me up (losing money is fun).

Two of my friends now love Martinis.


My powerboard also died Thursday morning and I had to replace it the following day.

I start working on something, but get from nowhere to little done and stop drawing.

It's also how I failed my Uni course. Lost all motivation and stopped caring in the last few months of my course. I probly should have dropped out a long time ago since I don't think Graphic Design is for me at all. I don't think any further study after high school is for me. I guess I'm one of those guys who gets a decent enough job to make a living rather than studying for a great job that gives me lots of money. I kinda regret ever going to Uni now.

Anyways, the point is I have no motivation now. But when I think about it, I have no idea what motivated me in the past or through my time in Uni.

Maybe I just need a girlfriend.

You know, there's quite a few amount of women that get angry whenever guys take a peak down their top. But they're really no different then guys!

So a couple of weeks back I went to this Pixar exhibition (a few weeks late for this journal), and I have to say, that if there's a Pixar exhibition on around your place in the future, you should definiatly go check it out.

It's amazing learning about the kind of stuff they do when making these movies, how they spend years making the movie and only 1/4 of that time actually bringing it to life in 3d. They put so much work into making large clay models of the characters, concept art for background shots that are only used in the movie for brief seconds, different character designs, and storyboard clips that are pretty much a movie by itself in 2d.

There was this one thing I really liked there, they created models of each frame of animation and placed them on a circle surface in sequance around other models, the surface began to spin really fast, then the light flickered on and off so that the models actually looked like they were moving on the spot or around the circle. (with sounds added in too)
It's kinda hard to explain in text, and seeing a clip of it on youtube probly isn't as good as seeing it in person.


I also attended Manifest this year, even though I bought a weekend pre-reg I only attended Saturday.
It wasn't that good as last year, I'm thinking they couldn't rent out the main hall again this year and had to move the merchandising booths a bit away from the event into a different room, which was 1/4 the size of the hall, so there wasn't much there (and there were even a few empty tables too)
So everything was cramped together, and of course caused the one thing I hate about these tables, the crowding.
I hate it how people all just crowd around a table, and just sit there gossiping about the items and such, while people are waiting for a little bit of room just to get through.
and they all seem to move along at the same time, one side of the area will be crowded while the other will barely have any, then the crowds rotate around the room along the tables.

The ticket line and the handling was completely shit, since it wasn't in the hall I suppose. Last year I turned up earlier than this year, and there was no line for pre-reg, while this year everybody thought that there was only one line and all lined up, which wrapped around the building and down to the other building.
I stayed out of the line for about an hour, before they finally split the line up between on-the-day reg and pre-reg. (and even then I had to wait about 20 mins in line for pre-reg)

The artists tabels seemed to have been lacking as well

I don't know how many Kingdom Heart cosplayers I saw (there were too many of them) and I don't know how many of those cosplayers were actually guys. (even for guy characters, mostly girls dressed up for them)

Also, who the hell would let their 10-12 year old girl attend this event and wear skimpy outfits, I saw a girl there dressed as that female character from 'Full Metal Alchemist'.

I didn't buy much this year either, the crowds were always in the way, there wasn't much variety there (or at least nothing that didn't cost 100 bucks) and they closed at 6, instead of 8:30 that the timetable suggested.

In the end, I guess you can say I enjoyed myself, but that's only because of the brief moment I played Halo in the gamers room, and in the end where I hanged out with my friend (that actually went) and her friends.

Maybe next year more of my friends will actually get off their ass to go.

and what the hell is a 'Advanced Yaoi Panel'? Is that yaoi discussion for professionals?


Oh yeah, one last thing.
I swear, one of the cosplayers there, went as Anonymous, that guy in the suit with the black face, he even had text across it saying, 'image not available'.
I wish I took a pic of him, maybe I can find one of him in the net somewhere.

Unless, of course, you can actually make that character look like they have aged (eg. wrinkles, older body, different hair, etc.)

Pretty simple, right?

Apparantly not, some thought they found a loophole, where if you merely -claim- that the character isn't underage, you're pedophile smut is protected

So the admins actually had to make it clear that that loophole wasn't gonna cut it

The main reason is obvious, because there are lots of people who draw pedophile smut, but claim that the character is older, despite the fact that they usually draw the character the EXACT SAME WAY that they are usually drawn in

Heck, I've seen plenty of people admit that they declared that their image made them older, even though they looked the same, just so that the admins won't ban it
(and also think that mature content option will protect anything)

It's just a precaution really

Seriously, ask yourself that question, why the hell are you drawing an underage, fictional, cartoon character, and uploading it up onto the internet?

I thought this movie is the greatest movie of the year, heck, best movie ever until further notice
What they have in the ads shows NOTHING that this movie actually contains

Lots of people were complaining about how it won't stay true to the original concept, I disagree, I don't think they could have kept it even closure to the original, unless they threw in the matrix

What I was pleased about with this movie is the severe lack of boring scenes, the movie immediatly jumps into the action and has a transformer attacking a military base within the first 5 minutes, and keeps an even pace throughout the movie where you'll be glued to your seats because you can't blink, otherwise you'll miss something

It had a good amount of fight scenes, humour, and story

What I'm concerned about with the movie is the humans involvement, they seemed to be a little too involved with the Transformers, and I think the movie ended too suddenly, or maybe it's because I was craving more when it ended

Still, I cannot find one thing wrong with this movie

Should I feel special?
