For instance, if they were on the fur/scales/skin for a few days, weeks, or months, (or even years) then would the markings still be able to be washed away? How long would one have to wait for it to be impossible, or near impossible, for stains to be washed away by water or any other kind of liquid. What's the most water/liquid-proof, and what liquid is the best at using for getting rid of stains? What's the most stain-proof and the most-liquid proof, fur, skin, scales, what (talking about stuff that would be found on animal surfaces, but you can do plant and in-animate object surfaces too for add-ons )?

Take a look at 's wolves, they have some kind of paint or berry juice or berry paint on their faces, what are the limits for something like that? What if Okami Amaterasu's markings from the game Okami weren't "natural" and were actually made of some kind of juice or paint or something that stains and soaks, what would be the limits for that?

Take this into consideration, folks, and answer carefully (make sure your absolutely positive when you answer).

The runt of a hamster litter (that was made on accident, sort of, oops , but I'm still glad it happened ) - Squirt - I helped raised him since he was first born (actually I helped Fluffy with the whole litter, I wanted to make sure none of them suffocated/didn't get enough milk/died!) - right as a pup - and I chose to keep him out of the whole litter (hey, runts of any kind of litter can have major problems, so I wanted to make sure I'd be the one taking care of Squirto), died sometime during the night of Tuesday, May 20, 2008 or sometime during the morning of Wednesday, May 21, 2008. My mom and I found him laying on his side, legs sprawled out in front of him as if he was standing (or maybe a little bit crouched to his side), on the floor of his cage. My mom thinks that he might have had cancer and died of a heart attack. The only remaining of Fluffy's and Olive's lineage (that I know of) are most likely Squirt's siblings (a litter of ten, woah!).

...I need someone to whack me so that I can get serious.

--------------------
Hamsters
--------------------
R.I.P.
I'm using the dreams Tanzania and Yellowstone on Furcadia for examples on this. The reason I have a (1) there, is because this might not be the only one of these, so, be ready for more of these, because I might have more in mind, ect.

There are three things I don’t like about the dreams Tanzania and Yellowstone (which are the ones I’m using for examples here), the lack of diversity, the lack of realism, and the lack of role-players, and I can explain all three of these, but none of these are anyone in particular’s fault, or any dream, forum, game, ect.

The first is lack of diversity. For example, in Tanzania, most role-players want to be a lion, and only a few want to be hyenas, but then there are barely any other animals besides those two in Tanzania. In Yellowstone, most role-players want to be a wolf, and only a few want to be foxes, but other than that, there are barely any other kinds of animals in Yellowstone.

The next is lack of realism. An example is, that in Tanzania, a lion pride that owns a land, will drive anything and any kind of role-player out of their lands, lions, hyenas, zebras, porcupines, gazelle, wildebeest, ect. And, in Yellowstone, there are fox “clans”. Now I know from facts that foxes don’t live in groups. A male fox might have a small “harem” of females for mating, and that that “harem” won’t be there by the time the pups are grown, but that’s about it, that’s the only time foxes will live in a group, and there’s only one male fox per each “harem”, which a lot of male red foxes don’t even have a “harem”.

Last is lack of role-players. For instance, in Tanzania, the lion prides that own a land barely ever role-play, maybe one or two days a week, but that’s about it for most of them. I have never seen the southwest pride role-play, there are usually only one or two lions there a day. In both Tanzania and Yellowstone, the “role-players” just hang about in the IC, when they’re really just chatting OOCly with no role-playing going on at all, unless someone doesn’t get off of “their” lands if they “command” to GET OFF OF OUR LANDS!!! That brings up lack of following the rules in Yellowstone. Because they “claim” a certain den or lands and say it’s “theirs” and chase every living thing off of “their” lands, and they do the same in Tanzania, chase off every living thing out of their lands even if it’s a whole other species that wouldn’t even be chased off of their lands in real life. So, whether it’s Tanzania or Yellowstone, they’ll claim a land and chase everything out of it whether they’re supposed to or not, and basically just use a “den” or “land” as a “base” of sorts, just to hang out and chat OOCly, and making sure nobody else interrupts, and if they do, they caps lock, “GET OUT!!!”, or fight them off ICly and unfairly, and disobey realism altogether.

Now like I said, this doesn’t go to anyone or any dream, game, ECT in particular, it’s just the way it is, and it’s hard to make it stop. So, I won’t stop going to anyone’s dream and go to another’s because of these problems, because everywhere there’s role-play (usually dreams on Furcadia), there are these problems. So, you basically can’t get rid of these problems, and so it’s useless to just visit another dream. But, besides these problems and maybe some glitches in your dreams, I like them very much, these problems are definitely not your fault, it’s the people who come’s fault.

Again, I used the dreams on Furcadia Tanzania and Yellowstone for examples, I'm not trying to put anyone or anything down in particular, I'm just stating facts. And, please excuse my grammar; I'm a little tired right now. And please, PLEASE no rude comments on this. I don't care if you like the idea of "fox clans" or anything else, just no rude comments, because I KNOW for FACTS that foxes don't live in "clans" or any other sort of group, at least, not in realism and the real world, I've discussed this fact tons of times before to people, and I don't know why, but people just like the idea of "fox clans". [link] < That's a very good resource for red foxes, people who like fox "clans", read up on them on THIS EXACT website, and don't use Wikipedia, people might have already changed facts to fiction on red foxes there already, and don't listen to anybody who says red foxes live in "clans", because that's just... You should get my point by now, that red foxes do NOT live in "clans", and that's fact, not fiction. No rude comments of ANY kind at ALL, please and thank you.

All of the writing below is (c) to Animal Planet's The Most Extreme]

The reason you’re born male or female is found in your chromosomes, only two of these genetic clumps of material determine your sex. You’re born female if you have two identical X chromosomes [X X FEMALE], a male has only one X chromosome, and a much smaller, Y chromosome [X Y MALE]. Some scientists believe that many millions of years ago, the Y chromosome may have been about the same size as the X chromosome, but overtime, it’s been shrinking. While the massive X chromosome contains about fifteen hundred genes [1500 GENES], the poor little Y chromosome is down to a mere seventy eight genes [78 GENES], and some researchers believe that this shrinkage could continue, some have predicted that the Y chromosome could vanish completely in only one hundred and twenty five thousand years [125,000 YEARS], no Y chromosome, means no males, and so the male human, could go the same way as the male whiptail lizard.

I'm feeling better, so I'm going to post this.

On the book/comic (not sure about comic, there will probably be a seperate one) series I'm making, if you want, you can make your own character. You can choose your character's gender, colors, stats, name(s), and you may choose your character's personality, but if I want, I will change any of those. It has to be realistic, no pink tigers with wings. I have a plot (more than one), so you may not make a character that has something that changes the plot, if you want your own plot, then you can make your own comic/story, but your character will be in the story, and on anyone or anything, your character might have little influence, or a big influence, or none at all. You may make a request for your character to have his/her own group, be in a certain group, or what kind(s) of influence(s) your character might have. I don't need anyone to make a character, so I won't be holding off any books/chapters/series because of it.

There is animals available, possible animals available, and hybird animals available. Hybrids are a possibility, and there is only one hybrid animal per person, and you can't choose any other animal other than a hybrid to fill up the spot. Remember to make your characters realistic, so no chihuahua x greyhound hybrids. So the most characters you can make is three. Again, I won't be holding off any books/chapters/series because I don't need anyone to make a character, but I can edit.

Animals Available For Series One, Book One ~ Hyenas, Tigers

Hybrid Animals Available For Series One, Book One ~ Bear Hybrids, Canine Hybrids, Equine Hybrids, Feline Hybrids, Hyena Hybrids

Possible Animals Available For Series One, Book One ~ Bears, Canines, Cheetahs, Deer, Domestic Cats, Gazelles, Horses, Jaguars, Leopards, Lions

~ Neomura

Edit ~ Use a visual reference, or a very detailed description, or even both, but I need at least one
Edit 2 ~ Another thing, is that you can post a plot for your character, but not one that affects the whole major plot (ex/ what/who he/she meets and how)
Edit 3 ~ When choosing a character's personality, explain his/her weaknesses and strengths, how well he/she exposes/hides them, what he/she likes and what he/she dislikes, does he/she have any debilities/disablities/inabilties and/or special/other worldly abilties? Make sure to explain exactly what species your character is (a siberian tiger, a striped hyena, ect.) Note - I probably won't accept any super natural abilities or anything like that, but you never really know. Please, no clothes on the animals, but feathers, collars, leashes, and even small necklaces/bracelets are fine, but when making a necklace/bracelet, make sure it doesn't look too human-like (something a person would wear), a chain on the wrist of a dog would be fine.

Have you ever heard the saying, "Don't Judge A Book By Its' Cover,"? If you don't, it doesn't matter, because I'll be giving you "examples".

Okay, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I'm sort of sick and tired of people like this. Look at this drawing ~ [link] . Now look at this one ~ [link] . (No, I didn't draw either of these, I got them from google and I'm using them as examples) Which one is better? It all depends on the perspective. To me, neither is bad and neither is good. The first one could use more practice, whoever drew that can do better, they just need to keep practicing, but if everyone gives them negative responses, then they'll get discouraged and stop drawing, when they could have the ability to become a great drawer. So just because someone's art looks bad from your point of view, doesn't mean you should give them negative responses like, "Ew, sick! You are so terrible," but you should give them positive responses like, "I think that's a great job!" but of course you should give feedback as to what they did right and what they did wrong, or else they might not get it right anyways, "It looks good, but I think the tail should be worked on, it looks like a curly piece of hair instead of a dog tail, be sure to make it thicker!", this way, they have the encouragement to continue drawing, and they'll know what parts they did wrong, but if you say it in a wrong way like, "There is something seriously wrong with that tail!", then you don't give any hint as to what's wrong with it, meaning they won't know how to fix it, and the way you say it will discourage them.

Another thing (still not trying to be mean or anything), I know this is supposed to be the "digital" stage, but that doesn't mean people should shun "original" art. Some people just don't have the money (or their parents or anyone that helps support them and whatnot) to buy things like a tablet, or photoshop. There's one thing a computer can't do, and that's replace the original. For instance, I know photoshop can't even come near to drawing an identical piece of a realistic photo, but outside of the computer, with the right utinsels and skills, you can come so close that people can barely tell the difference! If someone colors and shades their art with mechanical pencils and colored pencils instead of using photoshop, doesn't mean it's bad art. So don't shun someone's art just because they didn't use anything from a computer.

(These work just as well with literature as it does with art)

To sum it all up could probaby be this ~ Don't shun something just because it's different ~ and ~ Use encouraging words ~ and lots of others I won't put in here. So just have some consideration for other's work.

I'm not doing this just because a lot of my art hasn't been commented on, I'm doing it because I've seen stuff like this all over. Don't call me an old hag or something like that for writing this, because I'm between the ages 10 and 20, you do the math, does that seem old to you? If I was a hamster that would make me very old, but I'm not a hamster. Also, nobody get personaly offended by this, because this is directed to no one in particular.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In other news, I'm putting the Canidae and Felidae project on hold, basically because I don't have the right tools to make realistic art, and I have other drawings and ideas in mind.
