A few years ago in band, I met a guy with CF, and we've been friends off and on since then. He's a really great guy, and I just got the news that he may be about to die. It's pretty fucking disturbing, and I don't know what to do.

I don't really want advice or anything actually, but I'd just like to let it out.

I've been wayyyy too busy trying to finish some art, and I haven't been able to produce anything at all. It's taken over all of my free time. I'm not able to focus on school or anything else, and it's really alienated me from most of my friends and family, so until I can get over this, I'm taking a break.

Going to Voodoofest next saturday, so that should be fun. Hopefully some odd ten thousand people there are gonna break the record for the world's largest zombie walk. I'm in on that. 8D

So I want to draw/paint something halloween-ish, but I can't think of anything. I might just do a collage of stuff that's more disturbing than my typical disturbing-ness.

And I need to finish my fursonathing's picture. I finally decided on a Chihuahua for a species, and that's pretty cool I think because no one wants to internet hit on a chihuahua except ~Ashendale and that's cool, because she's cool. And I lurvez her. <3

Okay, that sounded a little mean, I think. Sorry.

Need to play L4D with =spazzy89 and =santi-loves-yaoi again! Because I have a mic now.

Just stopped by to say happy caturday and that things are going pretty good right now.

Also, you all need to see Inglorious Basterds. I've never laughed so much in a single movie in my entire life.

Due to a credit mistake inside of a credit mistake, I might be graduating sooner than I had originally thought. I mean, THIS YEAR. Since I'd lost some of my credits when I dropped out (and returned), I'd assumed that I'd be spending another year in school, but I PROBABLY WILL NOT. I THINK THAT'S A GOOD THING.

What a week. What a great fucking week.

I am now the reigning seventh greatest humorous speaker in the state of Mississippi, according to the National Forensics League. Consequently, the only thing you get for that is a +5 to your self esteem. It's nice to know that I've gotten my fifteen minutes of fame, though.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Bad things, by nature, happen in threes, as a way of making us say "ohhhhhhh shit" earlier than we're supposed to.

The first car crash I saw today was when a pickup crashed into a video/cd store. INTO IT. That is, the car was inside the building before this was all over. It's Mardi Gras, though, so I wouldn't have suspected anything else. Second, there was a crash about a mile up the road from the previous one. I'm going to assume that people died, as there were two body bags present. Finally, my aunt crashed in the rain with her two kids. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Bad things happen in threes.

So tommorow, I'm off to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

Finally, happy belated Valentine's Day, especially for everyone who was single (ie: my sorry ass) this time around.

IT SNOWED. I THINK I WENT BATSHIT CRAZY FOR A WHILE. I HAD A SNOWGASM, K?

So my theater class is performing a play, and I got the lead, which makes Neon a very joyful person. Even though the lead is a TRANSEXUAL. Oh my, it's been attack of the trannies lately. A good friend of mine wants a sex change, and I, being an idiot and all that, prompty asked him "So would you still be gay?"

And a new character of mine is a transexual wolf-ish in a business tie. I might eventually post a drawing of him. ALRIGHT, I DON'T HAVE A TRANSEXUAL FETISH, I PROMISE.

So I've been looking back at my art, and I realized how much my art has improved over the past four months. I'm seriously shocked--when I have the time, I'll probably remove most of the old stuff, except some stuff that asked me to not delete. I've also been considering re-drawing some of the older artwork, so ya'll might see some of that soon.

So I'm having a Christmas party this weekend. All of ya'll can come over, and we'll get trashed, k?

Now that I've got that finished....

So Hurricane Gustav came through and did absolutely no damage. Barely any wind and no electricity/water problems. Well, the water leaked through my floor, and so most of the stuff in it was moved out. I think it's going to be fixed tommorow.

I've got a few pieces of artwork in the works. One of them is similiar to Therapy, and the other is sort of similiar to The Juggler and that picture that's mostly blue (I forgot the name).

I'm on the school's forensics team, and my first competition is tommorow. It ought to be pretty fun.

The dance mentioned in the last entry turned out well. Haha, some girl went crazy when I told her to stop letting guys treat her like shit. She and one of her friends saw me later and started screaming about it.

So we have a tropical depression coming through, and people are freaking out. It's probably because of Katrina, although Katrina wasn't that bad here. It was sort of just like the other hurricanes. I guess people remember what happened closer to the coast and in New Orleans. And the power outages. Some people had no power for two weeks.

As long as no one gets hurt and there's no power outages, it's pretty fun.

I sometimes have a problem bringing things to a close.

So I'm planning on bringing that thing that plays mp3 player tracks on a radio, and messing with their radio until I can get it to play something crazy.

It'll be lulz, if it it'll work. Too bad I probably can't film it.

I may be going to Japan. A student ambassador program wants me to go to Europe, but at some sort of meeting, I asked about another trip (Japan). If I can get the money, I'll go.

According to two of my room mates from camp, I sleepwalk. Here's the thing: There was a ping-pong table right outside of our door. Late at night, random people would be playing ping-pong and cheering and yelling. Apparently, I got out of my bed, yelled "Enough is enough!", opened the door, and told the people playing ping-pong to "shut the fuck up". I don't know if it happened or not.

Whether it happened or not, it's funny.

I am officially a North African Jackalope, and there's nothing you people can do about it.

So my Xbox has effectively killed itself. I'm starting to wonder how much longer I can go without it before I go flipping mental. WoW probably hates me for making so many of those ten day trial accounts (thing is, I keep forgetting to use the account until the ten days are up, and I have to make a new one)

I'm going to Panama City with my church this Monday, and won't be back until Thursday, so unless I can somehow find a way to find a computer (I'm looking for that Nintendo DS Internet Browser thing, because I doubt I can bring my laptop) I'm probably going to be unable to access the internet.

Yes, in fact.

I like sports if I play them. I don't like to watch them, really, unless I'm at a game with friends or something. I love playing basketball and football, but I'm not on a school team or anything. Physically, I'm skinny and I think I'm probably healthy, so I'm probably athletic.

I think I just answered this one. I used to be, like, 180 pounds, but now I'm skinny. I'm kinda short, I guess, and I think I'm athletically built.

Maybe about 140-something to 150-something?

I think it's about 5'8"

7. Shoe size?
I don't know. In most cases, if it feels ok when I wear it, I wear it!

I don't consider myself part of a subculture, but I generally hang out with the alternative crowd. The lady in charge of this book club I go to asked me why I always dressed like I was going to a concert, so I guess I'm... uh... what does that make me? But I usually wear long pants and a loose shirt. I like wearing fedoras, beret type things. Classify me if you want, but I'm not part of some kind of weird alternative subculture or something.

10. How old are you?
Fifteen. My aunt thought I was, like, 17, and some lady at the dentist office thought I looked younger than 15, so I have no idea what age I look. Does it really matter?

I do, in fact.

I used to be all anti-social, but I'm not really any more. I think I'm generally a pretty nice person, so I get along very well with most people.

Southern! Cajun, Irish, probably some African. There's probably some other stuff, also.

Single, sadly.

Yup. I love fantasy, sci-fi, and comics!

Literature recieves little attention on DA. I know it's a website for art, but if you really think about it, it's sort of wrong to ignore poetry and writing. There ought to be another website (or at least a sub-domain) for those of us more involved in literature. DeviantWrite, anyone?

Well, I'm probably going to be working at least part of the way throught the summer. I have some classes that I need to finish before I'm allowed back into public school. There's another thing... that school is segregated, or something (not sure of the exact term). Unless you've been on the football team every year from the first tryouts, you cannot play football, nor basketball. Which sucks, since I had plans to try out for football.

Enough whining, though. I know I've been promising to upload something, and hopefully I'll get around to uploading something besides poetry. The problem is that I'm self concious about my artwork (not about many other things, though). The art nazis seem to attack anyone whose art is not as good as theirs.

I went went to the cinema and watched Prince Caspian. I'll be honest: it's very very good. Go watch it!

Why have I not submitted anything yet? Really, I should. That is, if I had something to submit that would be suitable for submission.

Oh wait. I think I have something scrap worthy. It might be considered mature, though, so you young 'uns might not be able to see it, depending on whether it can be considered mature, as well as other factors, perhaps.

I have Mindless Self Indulgence tickets. I'm going to their concert, and hopefully the moshing won't be so bad that I can't get by the stage. I might be at the concert with just my dad, so he might make me get in front of the stage whether I want to or not.

Speaking of which, the new Mindless Self Indulgence album is posted on their MySpace, and it's very... different. What I don't like about it is that it lacks the humor of the first two albums. Don't get me wrong, the lyrics are still hilarious, but not as much as they were on the first two albums.

...And I'm hopefully taking a test for my permit tommorow. Wish me luck please.

I have part of a piece finished. It's kind of a fusion of pixel art and a sketchy type of anthro art. I've been interested in doing this piece for a while, actually.

I have discovered a very... different... band, recently. They're called Apocalyptica, and they consist of three or fours celloists and a drummer. They used to cover Metallica songs, but now they've started creating their own songs. Since they apparently don't have a singer, they use cameo appearances by others (They've used Till Lindemann of Rammstein and Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour). If you haven't heard their songs before, I recommend Helden, a cover of David Bowie's Heroes and One, a cover of the Metallica song of the same name.

I'm feeling better than before, mostly thanks to and another friend of mine whose DeviantArt username has slipped my mind. But I'm actually thanking them and all of my friends and family, on the internet or not. Thanks for being there for me.

Excuse my language. You guys aleady got enough of it in my last update. Seriously, though, thanks for showing your concern. I love you guys (in the most platonic way possible, mind you) even those of you who didn't comment on my mental state yesterday.

For the last few weeks, I've been running a mile almost every day. Today, however, I decided to do 50 sit-ups instead. However, I got Obsessive-Compulsive and had to make sure I did each sit up perfect and in turn, I'm guessing I did about 150 sit ups. Yes, it does hurt.

A few days ago, I told some people at a place I'm RPing at that I was going to scream obscenities into a tape recorder and put the tape into one of those giant tape players in Wal-Mart and film the subsequent events. I'm working on a story. This isn't particularly good news because I have a habit of getting bored with writing a story very quickly, at which point I move on to a new story where the process often repeats itself. Oh well... if I finish part of this one, I may upload it.

I wonder how Islawolf is doing... being in Communist China, and all that...

Anyway, I'll try to finish at least a chapter or prologue of my story by the end of this week. Byes.

Just a while ago, I had a brilliant idea. I would log onto my Zetapets (Don't ask plzkthx) account to see how long ago it was since I joined. Since I started RPing around that time, I would have a good idea of how long I had been an RPer. Well, when I logged on, I was informed that I had been using that account for THREE YEARS OR MORE. Soooooooo... sometime around now is my three year anniversary for RPing. I ought to come up with a way to celebrate it...

I have five people in my room besides myself. My sister, two of her friends, and two of my friends. For some reason, my sister is straightening her friend's hair. In my room. I wont make them leave, though.

Nine Inch Nails released a double disk album, Ghosts I-IV, a few days ago with almost no previous info. I don't think most people even knew it existed until the release date. The cool thing about it? Half of the album is legally free from here: [link] It was released apparently no record company involvement--which is apparently another step against the record companies. Honestly, I think it's better to have the record companies, so that bands wont have to waste money on promoting themselves and such, yes? If I ever start a band, I'll probably try to get a deal with a record company.

Yes, I'm sounding kinda pro-government. It gets on my nerves when I see all of these kids jumping on the anarchist bandwagon just because they see Rage Against the Machine and Sytem of a Down doing it. These people don't realize that even though our government isn't perfect, we don't need a revolution. Anarchy isn't going to do much besides getting rid of all the restrictions that keep us from killing each other.

Hope you all enjoyed my rant. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been; these past few months have been very hard for me. I'm probably taking ten pills every day now, but I feel like my depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder isn't getting any better. I'm not being emo; I'm being serious.

Been gone all day visiting my grandmother. She and I are much alike, strangely. For the past two times she spoken with me, she's mentioned a book (apparently called "Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town") as if I've never heard of it before. Quite strange...
After changing my DeviantArt "name" to "...is Serious Business", it somehow became obvious that I should create a new character named "Serious Business". After some ideas my cousin uknowingly devised, I decided that Serious Business was a dolphin. Go figure. I'll get around to drawing him one day...
