                <description><![CDATA[ It's kind of like realizing that you have an aversion to something you've never tried before, or seen before or heard of before.  It's like hearing about it for that first time and saying "Wow, I am not feeling this,". It's just like that.  And one day, you move out to the country or you lock yourself in a closet, on a slow day with no one around just so you can say that it's quiet and then you realize that it's the scariest thing you've ever heard in your life. The silence chokes you into the city life and forces you to understand that we don't just fear the silence.  We fear the unknown.  You don't fear the silence because it killed your mom or hurt you as a child, you fear it because you've never experienced it before.  You don't fear the sushi because you had it and it tastes horrible, you fear it because it's foreign and different and as people, we don't like different. As a person, I don't like different.  And it's like waking up one day and realizing that we almost have an instinct to dislike newness.  So, perhaps it's not a phobia, perhaps it's simply instinct.<br /><br /> ]]></description>
