I'm currently recovering from a break-up. Why am I making a journal about this? Because, well, I share the deepest parts of me here. Through my art. With you guys. And he's been such a large part of it all for such a long time now. This relationship was, at least to me, as serious as it could get. I planned on marrying this man. And I loved him with every single bit of me.

I hate that when these things happen, you can't just talk about them. I can't express what needs to be expressed, so, I'm at least doing this.

I'm thinking about making a separate account very soon, a place where I can get some of this out of me. I don't want a lot of people here seeing the darker sides of me, to be honest. When I'm in pain my art and writing becomes incredibly brutal, but this is a place that has always made me feel happier and relieved.

I'm planning on going as the Green Fairy, otherwise known as the Absinthe fairy. A loose translation of it, I'm not going to be what you saw in Moulin Rouge or anything.

I wonder if anybody reads this anymore because, well, I don't update this shit very often and I really think I've lost my prime audience because I've changed a lot.

Here's a list of reasons why I believe my original watchers probably don't like me anymore:
1) Probably my free use of profanity because I LIKE TO MOTHERFUCKING EXPRESS MYSELF.
2) All the drawings of kind of sleazy chicks.
3) Less and less and less fan-art.
4) I'm not much for Twilight anymore, and that's what most of my views are from

As far as my world and art goes, I'm already workin' hard at making stuff. Unfortunately, it's all for school and you guys won't get to see any of it any time soon. I'm taking FOUR, count 'em, FOUR ART CLASSES THIS SEMESTER. What the hell was I thinking? Yeah, I'm going to be exhausted. There's Drawing I, Figure Drawing, Design II, and Ceramics. Some of that probably sounds simple but I can't tell you how un-simple it has been so far. These are the strictest art teachers I've had, and I've spent at least 1/4 of my earned cash from this summer on supplies, and I still have to get some gouche paint! FUH. It's only been a week of class but already I'm feeling that these classes will suck the creative juices right out of me, so things on the side might be kinda... difficult to come by.

ESPECIALLY WITH MY SCHEDULE.
Those four classes aside (all 3-4 hours long), I also have a Yoga class, and I'm going to school full time, 5 days a week. I ALSO STILL WORK AT SEAR ON THE GODDAMN WEEKEND. And in nasty 7-9 hour shifts (I can't tell you how much I hate that place). Spare time is getting much harder to come by, I'll tell you. Any free time I can scrounge, I try to see Mark, who's schedule is even tighter for some really big reasons.

Although I will say, you might be able to expect more from both Mark and I in the future when it comes to fiction... which might often be paired with some illustrative work as well. My Amy & Judy plot (which few of you are familiar with-- they're original characters, just go with it) is becoming more and more developed as time goes by. It even has a working title, "Diner" and more characters and definite scenes. We're actually thinking about working this thing all the way through as time goes by, and maybe by the time we're able to live together this thing can really get rollin'-- granted there will be even MORE responsibilities for both of us to handle then. But it's a huge possibility.

I recently got my hair cut SUPER short and I'm going as Tonks! Alright, well. I guess the main question people have been asking me is, DID YOU LIKE IT?

I... hm. See, it was really pleasing as a fan. As a movie on it's own, I think the acting and cinematography was pretty BAD. I really did enjoy it, and I'll totally see it again. The only thing is, the AUDIENCE KIND OF RUINED THE FEEL FOR ME. It was full of preteen girls who SCREAMED THEIR HEADS OFF during the main titles, the first shots of The Cullens, their first kiss, Stephenie's cameo, and the end of the movie itself.

Also, I laughed (along with the entire audience) at stuff that WASN'T supposed to be funny. Such as:
Edward's constipated look when he caught a whiff of Bella in the classroom
Treeclimbing lessons with Edward Cullen! WTF?
That weird montage with the computer and you saw Dracula!Edward
"STOP IT EDWARD, YOU'RE KILLING HER!" OM NOM NOM NOM! The look on his face. Ugh.
The sparkles. I guess that's how it's supposed to LOOK, it's just hard to buy on screen.
When Bella couldn't finish ONE WORD when Edward suggested she go to Jacksonville?

Okay, but I have to point out the stuff I really loved.
Jacob. Black. Oh my god, that kid is so cute. When he and Bella were in the truck, d'awww! I can't wait for New Moon! Also, Billy Black. "KEEPIN' IT REAL, SON"
Eric and Mike. I was really looking forward to Mike Newton, and he was perfect. Their stupid antics cracked me up. Eric's fascination with worms, what the hell? XD
Charlie. He was perfect.
The Cullen family! I think everybody was perfect for their role, even though we didn't see them nearly enough. I jut about died when Emmett was all, "HER NAME IS BELLA LOL", HAHAHA. Alice is sweet and perfect, I really expected more screen time for her but she'll get more time in future movies. Rosalie was perfectly cold and bitchy and beautiful. Esme was surprisingly fascinating for me, I loved it. Jasper & Carlisle were quiet but pretty awesome.
I was really into Bella & Edward's kiss. I mean... wow. Even though she was in her undies and the audience made it so you couldn't really hear much, but yeah. It was really sensul and wonderful.
Some of the sequences with music were just PERFECT. The lullaby was very sweet. The baseball scene was really FUN and fast-paced. But Prom with that Iron & Wine song was just lovely. It also helped that Kristin Stewart was showing some real emotion in the movie for once.
Bella getting her ass kicked and then the way the venom got ahold of her. Oh man.


The main thing that bothered me was how damn serious and angry Edward and Bella seemed. They're relatively happy people in the books to me. Bella never smiled in the movie, what is UP with that? Also, they didn't act like a real, loving couple to me. Besides lines from the book like "You are my life now" and so forth, they never actually just said that they loved each other TO each other. I just think the movie failed to get that bond so very strong, as it should have been. The fascination with the cool, vampiric side kind of lost what was the center of it all-- the romance. But I don't know, I guess I can live with that just being reserved for the book.

I'm just pumped for New Moon.

They're pretty god damn ugly. And there are huge displays in every Borders you go to with Twilight books with the SHITTY MOVIE COVER. I knew they would do this, UGH! And I'm sorry.

Okay, part of me wants to laugh, and part of me is kind of pissed off.

I'm sorry, but... who cares if John was gay? He most obviously WASN'T; if anything, the man was bisexual-- I have plenty of reason to believe that. And people have been saying Paul is gay as well. Okay, I'm sorry, but Paul McCartney is STRAIGHT.

Still... I do think John and Paul cared for each other a great deal more than just great friends. You have to look at how dependent John was on Paul, for one thing. And the connection those two shared was obviously strong, just look at their music. Does that necessarily mean they were romantically involved? Not at all. I think it's a possibility that they had a few... moments. Things that just friends wouldn't do. I don't really mean SEXUALLY, though that's a possibility as well. A lot of people might find that disgusting, and a lot of people could say that's pretty homophobic of others. I don't think it's... homophobic to be kind of shocked and offended by the thought. Because really, these were two are very big figures in music and pop culture. It's weird to think of something like that in a different light for others, perhaps. Still. The point being, who knows? Nobody would know besides John and Paul, really.

Still, even through all this... even if John Lennon was gay... Would it change a god damn thing? No.

I don't think anything could change what those two produced in The Beatles, or on their own. I guess it's interesting to speculate, it still shouldn't matter.

HELL YEAH. I wanted to do something Potterish, but creepy. Also something I could be creative about while spending little to no money. Thus Bella is the PERFECT choice! Sad news is, my wand is broken in the sense that it snapped in half and the wires were cut. So it doesn't light up nor shoots lasers (IT TOTALLY DID) anymore. But still functions as a prop. Damn.

But you know what I wish?

You know, I find that people at college generally aren't very friendly. I mainly have been sticking to myself. I dunno. I'm also sick of seeming like a little kid, it's really quite obvious it's my first semester when you look fifteen. I wish I looked my age, or maybe a bit older, even. Grrr.

I was so happy to see actual coverage of Wrock Chicago! And then I read the actual article after watching the video.

" 'Twilight' is sort of like the 'Hannah Montana' of literature," the Remus Lupins' Alex Carpenter explained to MTV News. "If you're outside the 14-to-16-year-old age range, you might listen to it, and it might get stuck in your head, but it's not good literature. It's not really enriching your life the way 'Harry Potter' might."

What the fuck? This coming from someone who's band motto is FIGHT EVIL, READ BOOKS? I'd like to say that even though Twilight hasn't done the same thing for literature by far, it does promote reading at the very least. I'm not sure who started this comparison of HP & Twilight, but MTV is just making this ten times worse. People argue that Twilight is mindless and only appears to tweens & teenagers. NOT TRUE. I find older people all the time that read Twilight. My mother got back into reading novels through Twilight, and she loves the series. Oddly enough, when I went up to my college to get my student ID, one of the people working there told me he was almost done with the first book and really liked it-- he was around what, thirty-five? I always kind of dreaded that Twilight would be hyped up this way when I first read the series, back then few people had read it. All of a sudden it's gotten attention, and being misunderstood. Ugh. My point is, WHY do you HAVE to choose a side? I love both Harry Potter & Twilight! They're both good book series in different ways. Nothing's ever going to be quite like Harry Potter was, and it annoys me when Twilight fans expect it to be or claim it's better than HP. Potter fans also annoy me when they are really CONDESCENDING because I enjoy the book.

And for the record, no, I did not like Breaking Dawn. It had it's moments, parts really made me happy, but most of it? No. I can see it growing on me, maybe, but I was generally disappointed. Does this mean I'm revoking my name as a Twilight fan? No! The first three books are still just as spectacular, I still love the characters, it just wasn't the best book ever. I'll still buy Midnight Sun, too. If nothing else, Breaking Dawn was kind of amusing. I still couldn't stop reading it while it was new, despite the fact that I thought it was mostly horrible. Which proves Meyer IS a pretty fantabulous writer.

I'm sick of the Twilight bashing on DA, too. Certain artists (one in particular being very popular and a big HP fan) are quickly turning Twilight bashing into ART? Oh dear god.

I do have a sense of humor, but I just think you should spend your energy on something you LIKE as opposed to DISLIKE.

This past week I've been in Chicago, and if you're a big Harry Potter fan, you know that means I was there during Terminus. Yeah, I specifically travelled up there for ONE even on ONE day:

WROCK CHICAGO!
Don't know what that is? It's the biggest Wizard Rock concert ever assembled! And it was AMAZING.

There were about thirty bands there (held in the REALLY AWESOME Hilton), but here are the ones I got to see:

DAMN, right? I was most excited to see Ministry of Magic, and I think they had the shortest set I had seen. Ahhhh, oh well. But I did get to experience a lot of awesome stuff:
--Getting a picture with Voldemort (who's a fantastic dancer)
--Seeing a ton of people from youtube-- a lot of the fiveawesomegirls were there, but I also saw several Potter people that are also pretty famous on there
--Standing outside the Ballroom doors for the headliners singing wizard rock songs in anticipation
--Buying my awesome new Parselmouths bag? Oh damn is it cool!

BUT MOSTLY:
So, during the headliner bands, we started basically jumping/moshing when it got to Whompy. It was insane, the floor was bouncing like hell. The hotel people were getting pissed and told us to stop or they'd escort people out. So everyone was like... "what the hell, they knew we'd be here for a CONCERT?" So Harry & the Potters... I HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM THAT INTO A SHOW. They went berserk. But near the end of the show, they were singing "The Weapon" and they're like "JUMP WITH US!" and everyone kind of decided WHAT THE HELL, and we did it. Security got PISSED. But then Joe launched himself into the audience, and the security guard near him got ultra pissed and tried to drag him back to the front, but HE JUST COULDN'T DO IT. Eventually both Joe and Paul just came into the audience and jumped with us, and security couldn't do a damn thing about it.

Paul bodyslammed me and dragged me about twelve feet away from the stage, USING HIS TORSO? AHAH.

And we ended by a ton of random people from bands joining H&tPs chanting "Harry Potter" as a kind of cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit". I wouldn't lie: [link]

I guess you could say a lot has been going on, despite it feeling like nothing has been going on. Anyway, allow me to fill you in:

Last night I registered for classes at Meramec, and I'm taking:

Figure Drawing (!! OMFG !!)

How pumped am I for my art classes? SO PUMPED. *Frolicks* I get to draw naked people. Not that I don't do this anyway.

Lately I've been spending a lot of my time with my especially wonderful boyfriend Ken and some new friends. And I finally found someone who's as much of an insomniac as I am (MARK AND I NEVER SLEEP), which I didn't think was possible. However, I'm incredibly emo over the fact that Abby's in Florida right now. Moreso the fact that she's not hanging out with me rather than me being jealous over her being in Disneyworld, but the latter still remains. Also all of my other friends happen to be in Europe at the moment. They get to go to LONDON, damn you all. I also missed The Remus Lupins show last night because I had nobody to go with. I could have gone, really, Ken offered to check it out, but it's just not the same without my girls.

Sill. Alex Carpenter. Now I'm emo I couldn't see him.

Don't know if you've noticed or not (maybe I'm the only person who thinks it's normal to stalk other deviants favorites), but lately I've been OBSESSED with Kingdom Hearts. Anyway, as I plan my Halloweens out pretty far in advance, I'm considering... Axel for Halloween? What do you guys think? It's either that or Elphaba, and green makeup will be kind of a bitch for upkeep.

Recently, I've seen The Producers preformed at The Muny (a beautiful outdoor venue for musicals & plays), and it was pretty much amazing. Also, Get Smart was pretty much one of the funniest movies I had seen in a while. Though, when I went to see it with my Dad, there were a ton of high school kids there. I sat next to these kids who, at first were talking about me like I wasn't there, and then they suddenly were like "HI! What school do you go to!?"
"I just graduated high school."
"OH! We're gonna be sophomores!"
Yeah honey, I could tell.

Words cannot express how PSYCHED I am for The Dark Knight. Also, I'm pretty excited to see Wall-E, I keep hearing spectacular things about it. Even if I didn't, I trust Pixar in the most absolute sense. They always make wonderful films.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!
I heard in an interview that the story wouldn't revolve around Sora. As annoying as that kid can be, WHAT?! It'd TRULY be lame if you were playing as one of these characters in this intro. But then I found this: [link]

Oh, okay. So it looks like Sora's still there.
Then there are pictures all over the internet (you guys just google that, or look at youtube slideshows)... there's a character called Terra, and it looks like he's the playable character.

WHAT?! AW HELL NAW.
Or it might be like KH2's beginning, where you had to get through a day of play being Roxas, then you're playing Sora again. I could settle for that. Roxas also seems to be in a lot of these pictures. More of Roxas would be terrific, he's actually my favorite character. But what REALLY worries me is... do you think this game will be PS3 exclusive? I just bought a fucking PS2 for Christmas, and a PS3 is just expensive, you know? Then again, I'll wait to see what kind of a game this will turn out to be. Judging by the opening, the villain, and the... supposed main character, it doesn't look nearly as awesome as KH2.

As far as the Disney worlds go... I hear Toy Story? The Incredibles? Possibly Hunchback of Notre Dame? Honestly not as amazing as I expected. I'd very much like to see older Disney films worked into this, actually. Some playable, fun worlds would be like Sleeping Beauty, the Sword in the Stone, maybe even Robin Hood. I doubt they'd do this because the film isn't really that popular but how EFFING BADASS and EPIC would it be to play Treasure Planet? Atlantis would also be very cool. Toy Story just seems lame as all hell, sorry guys. Pocahontas would be amusing, just thinking about how Sora could be dressed. I'm sure his pale skin would go over well there. x)

Also, I have no idea what this 358/2 Days or Coded thing is either. I'm very confused. But I hear you can play as Organization members in them?

This past week has been uneventful, but this WEEKEND has been one of the best ever.

So, my relatives came in to town Friday from Kansas. Anyway, they brought this kid that they kind of befreinded (long & personal story) who was heading home, and my city happened to be on that way. So he hung out with us for a while due to circumstances.

He's nineteen and very different, but very sweet. I LIKE DIFFERENT. Anyway... guys... never take interest in me. I mean, when they do, it goes absolutely nowhere. Anyway, it was nice because he's good to talk to. But I can never think of anything to say, and we actually didn't have uncomfortable silences. Obviously this was a random flirty thing that's never gonna go anywhere (HE LIVES FAR AWAY ) But it made me feel... less insignificant in that arena. I had to rant about that.

Well, tonight (technically AND YESTERDAY if you see the time I posted this) was also crazy-insane. Abby and I watched the MTV movie awards (TWILIGHT SCENE GUYS?!), High School Musical 2 (I know, I know, Jesus), and The Road to El Dorado. And did a crazy-ass puzzle that took forever. Then we proceeded to drive around the neighborhood listening to Wizard Rock.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but guys... yes, I find Zac Efron attractive.
THOUGH it's way freaking unfortunate he acts way over-the-top and homosexual, is orange, and dresses digustingly. Also the fact that his girlfriend is the same on and off set, especially with something so disgustingly CHEESY. *gaaaag* So basically what I'm saying is, it'd be great if somebody worthwhile took over Zefron's hot body.

Also, I had pretty much given up on finding a GREAT movie to enjoy at Blockbuster. I've seen A LOT of movies, and I'm picky, so I figured I'd never have the joy of finding a wonderful move and watching it for the first time.
And then I found Amelie.


Other exciting things include the return of Mugglecast, the planning of Wrock Chicago, and the fact that GUESS WHAT, Joe DeGeorge friended me on Facebook! (that's Harry year four of Harry & the Potters, guys!)

I've also discovered that my body is once again able to TAN? My skin usually burns and then reverts back to its original paleness, but my arms and shoulders are beginning to tan, so... I'm gonna try it.
Seriously.
I won't be pale as hell anymore.
...It's a scary thought.

Chess pieces seem somewhat of an obvious choice for a book cover. I've seen so many fake versions at this point that I'm surprised nobody had thought of this. Now that Bella and Edward have made their decisions and are absolutely certain of their plans, they have to play them out carefully. Total sense.

Though I've never been smart enough to learn how to play chess. The pawn is usually insignificant, what's the piece in the front, the Queen? The red on the covers always seemed to represent Bella, so I'm somewhat confused. Shouldn't she be the focus?

The quote. Woahhh. I think it's right before they're about to do it. x) Orrr before he bites her. But I still think it's entirely possible that Edward might slip up in the heat of the moment when he and Bella are "together".

REAL LIFE:
I came back from Abbey Road on the River today. It was awesome.
It's always exciting and awesome to see the wonderful especially at such and awesome event. Even though it was kinda brief. And the last she saw of me was me scaring the shit out of her when she was on the phone. SORRY LIZ I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE BUSY THERE.

But I love staying at The Galt. I shared the elevator with band members most of the time. And it's always wonderful to bump into James Lynch. He probably thought I was mental just drooling at him. HE IS A VERY ATTRACTIVE LENNON IMPERSONATOR GUYS. But of course, same as last year, James DaSilva seemed to be EVERYWHERE I was. I swear I'm not a stalker, dude. I'm sorry. Maybe he's stalking me. Anyway, Mario's always been my favorite down @ ARotR.

Recreation of White Album (minus Revolution 9) was amazing. Ties for my favorite album with Abbey Road. Seeing it live was a treat. Though I'm short and it was crowded, so I only saw half of it, really. But I was right up there for MMT, I lurv Abbey Road Live!

SOME NEWS:
I think I'm gonna create a seperate account. I'll use it for gifts, and I might link you guys to it (IF you behave and give appropriate comments). The reason I'm doing this is I have several people/bands in mind that I want to create art for. But I don't want them seeing some of the stuff on THIS site. I don't want to be judged based on my interests.

Also that would give me more freedom to submit stuff here that's a little more... for mature audiences? Rather, immature audiences! OH SNAP. This also means things are gonna get nerdier.

Also! The Pre-Wrockstock show was amazing. Although... Alex certainly seemed rather down. Anyway, Gred & Forge showed up at the last minute. I LOVE YOU JARROD! I loooove G&F, and was considering getting his CD via mail, but thankfully I got to hear a few songs, and bought his CD & an amazing t-shirt at the show! We briefly talked about the amazingness that is Abbey Road over the merch table.

It's hard to search on DA for a well-written fiction that stays true to the characters. And I don't even try searching fanfiction.net because it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

I used to really look down on fanfiction, because I still stick by the fact that most of it... sucks. Very badly. But I've read some REALLY good ones, and I'm looking for some other gems out there. NOT SUCEEDING, SO HELP.

Also, graduation went by pretty nicely.

Thursday night/REALLY EARLY Friday morning was my SENIOR LOCK-IN. Let's see... pool, DJ, kareoke, charicaturist, giant tricycles, velcro wall, hypnotist... it was pretty much amazing. It was at a local YMCA, and my friends and I decided to explore it. There was this AMAZING ROOM that had MIRRORED walls. I was like "WE SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE DANCE PARTY GUYS" so, like, the five of us danced to wizard rock and Zac Efron repeatedly like we were twelve. x)

Also, my class night was before that. It was boring, they just gave out awards, and I assure you that I did diddly squat in relation to achievement. So I was surprised to recieve the Visual Art department award. UHH SURE GUYS, HAH. I got a cute little medal thing for it.

So, yesterday.
I learned that Harry & the Potters are gonna be touring here on August 2nd. (OH HELL)
Also a new Potter Puppet Pals was uploaded, how awesome was that?

Well, I finished The Host. It was actually pretty darn good! The ending was spectacular, especially since I had no idea where she was going with the story near the end. Stephenie's truly a terrific writer. I hope to make some fan-art soon!

I bought a crapload of new Wizard Rock last night. If you guys want some fun, hilarious, rocking music- probably the greatest WR album ever- go buy Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love on iTunes. It's what, ten bucks? C'mon, that's a deal. Also, I've really gotten into The Ministry of Magic as of late. Electronica Wizard Rock? Absolute win. Snape vs. Snape is easily my favorite song, but right now I'm listening to Marauder's Map. Ohhh, it's love.

So close. to the pre-Wrockstock party. So close.
Let's ignore the fact that I can't make it to Wrockstock, boo.
But the day after that concert, I'm driving with my dad to Louisville for Abbey Road on the Riverrr! I'm puuuumped like woah.

I haven't listened to The Beatles in a while, though, so I'll have to engulf myself in nostalgia this week.

As for my art. Eugh. Serious block. Everything I doodle turns out looking like crap. I've noticed the decline especially in the works I've uploaded lately. But tomorrow is my only day of exams, so hopefully I can attempt to practice and work some stuff out this week.

In particular?
Sometimes I visit artist's livejournals that I've randomly found that I'm fond of, because they'll post art they don't post on DA. (That sounds creepy to some but oh my god, its PUBLIC and people do it all the time.) One artist in particular (hint: she's a HUGE HP & Lost fan) posted that the didn't think much of what she saw in Twilight so far, and I've gotten the impression she skimmed it.

I was fine with that. She was semi-respectful even though I feel that she should read the whole book before she judges.
BUT SERIOUSLY GUYS...

The people that comment on her journal SUCK UP TO HER TO THE EXTREME. Just because she's famous on here and an incredibly talented person doesn't mean you can't disagree with her. I disagree with her on a lot of fandom-related stuff, but I still think she's an awesome person, so don't get me wrong. BUT. Even people with Twilight icons were like, "YEAH SHE CAN'T WRITE."

I think these people are doing this to:
1) Look appealing or similar to this artist
2) Simply to be contrary because the series is getting so big
3) Stir up some controversy and call attention to themselves
4) Are pissed because Twilight is being compared to other fandoms.

Actually, point number four pisses me off too. I love Twilight, and I love Harry Potter. The authors are different. Very. Different. The stories are different- EXTREMELY DIFFERENT. So, what gives?

But I think people are being idiots when they say that Stephenie Meyer can't write. I'm sorry. I was taken aback by how well she wrote the series, because it's labeled a TEEN NOVEL. Her style is more simplistic, which caught me off guard, but somehow INCREDIBLY addictive and descriptive. She's been much kinder and generous and thankful to her fans than a lot of authors are now adays. I admire that woman in SO many ways.

But I think points 2 and 3 are most common. Have you guys seen deviations, groups, or deviants that dedicate all this time and effort into ANTI-TWILIGHT works? Guys. Grow up. Put some passion into something that MEANS something to you. If that's not Twilight, okay. Cool. Move on. Basically, STFU.

There are popular series, books, movies, etc. that I dislike and find dull or not well-written. But I don't avidly put it out there, I focus my attention on things I DO like.

I don't want you guys thinking this book series is for rabid fangirls without brains.

There. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

My ArotR tickets arrived in the mail yesterday! OH MAH GOD. For those of you who are unaware what I'm talking about, that's Abbey Road on the River, the ultimate Beatles festival in Louisville, KY. I'm so excited. Last year was pretty awesome, and hopefully this year will be just as cool. And the Whomping Willows (Matt! ) has just posted on his myspace that he will be in my city on the 22nd. The Remus Lupins will hopefully be with him, because Alex promised me that he'd be back in town to play for us before he goes to Wrockstock. Which I'm missing because I'm going to ARotR instead. *Pouts*

I heard that the Twilight teaser trailer is gonna be out by May 9th.

So basically, May 9th is going to be one of the best days ever. I won't be able to sit through school knowing that afterwards I can go home and watch both trailers.

I'm also freakishly excited for upcoming Anatomy adventures. We get to dissect a pig in a few days, and pretty soon we get to watch people cut up... a person. An I really creepy for being excited for that? Oh well.

What do you like best about the series?:
-- A lot. I think it's a very original, genuine novel. I didn't think that when my friends recommended it, but the plot, characters, and writing style is such a breath of fresh air. It also gets teens reading the way HP did, and the community is so awesome. But most importantly, the CHARACTERS. I love them so much. They are so tangible.


Team Edward, Team Jacob, or Team Switzerland?:
-- I'm Switzerland, but occasionally I play favorites.

If you could chose only one, which would you be, a vampire or a werewolf?:
-- Easily a vampire. I mean come on. I know it'd be wise to say "No, I don't want to live forever." But... yes, I do. Especially if I had the security of someone like Edward.

Did you cry at any point in the books?:
-- Oh yes. THAT part in New Moon. The heart wrenching part. Also when Bella was so convinced that Edward was feeling guilty and still didn't love her. Chapter 20 in Eclipse. Jacob's near-death and the heartbreak of his final rejection at the end of the book. But the worst was actually in Twilight when Edward first found Bella and was "dry sobbing". It was so heartbreaking because he had so much human emotion coming from him at that time, but his body was almost ... unable to express it.

Favorite book so far?:
--Twilight. Easily.

Do you think Bella will be turned into a vamp in Breaking Dawn?:
-- YES. But I don't think we'll get to see it too much, or maybe not at all. I think it'll be a lot like the epilogue in Twight... Edward will bite her and that's how it'll end. Maybe some sort of epilogue after that. That's my theory anyway, even though I want to know about her becoming a vampire.

If so, what do you think her special power will be?:
-- I haven't analyzed this a lot because I want to be surprised. I think what she has as a person is awesome enough, so I basically can't imagine what else Stephanie has up her sleeve.

Thoughts about Bella at the end of Eclipse:
-- Poor, poor, poor girl. She made the right choice, though. Except when they were in the field... and Edward finally let his guard down. AUUUGH Bella what the hell?! I don't think her resistance was humanly possible. Nope. NO. I want to experience the moment when they finally get to that part of Edward's promise in the next book. OR ELSE.

Perfect ending to Bella's story?:
-- Being with Edward, being a vampire, getting her end of the bargain (you guys know what I'm talking about), but also being able to control herself. I want her to be able to remain friends with Jacob. And... this is really far-fetched, but it'd be SO NICE if one of her parents could be in on her secret. I want her to have some sort of human connection.

Favorite character? Why?:
-- Must I choose? Well, I'm excluding Edward, so... actually, Jacob. Romanticism and choices concerning Bella aside, I just love his character. He's honest and warm, and he's affectionate in small ways. The idea of being his friend is so appealing- he's FUN. He was persistent about his feelings for Bella, but he just dealt with it before he decided that he was going to fight Edward for her. That had to be torture. I also love how unabashed he is of everything. Damn it. Also, I'm fascinated with his relationship with his tribe/culture/family.

-- Irrisistable?

-- Wise. I just view her as a wholesome person.

FACTS
1. I absolutely love talking to the teachers at my school. I think most of them are pretty much the coolest people ever, even if they do have qualities which annoy me. I'm really upset because I know after May I probably won't see them again.

2. I HATE ANDY WARHOL. With like, a fiery passion. THERE I SAID IT. I just find his stuff incredibly boring and overblown, and I'm going to be hated for it. I'm sorry. I also detest The Godfather and I still don't understand why it's considered one of the greatest films OF ALL TIME.

3. I'm beyond vain, I'm completely narcissistic! I actually think very highly of myself in a few areas, and I care way too much about how I look. I'm also a bit shallow.

4. You guys know I like Wizard Rock, but I don't think you get to what extent at this point. I listen to it every single day, and Abby and I listen to it in the car nonstop. We're constantly on the lookout for any shows. Wrockstock is actually the same exact weekend as Abbey Road on the River this year, and honestly, if I hadn't already bought tickets to go to ARotR with my dad, I'd be going to Wrockstock with Abby.

5. I almost despise teen novels... I'm sorry. The Twilight series is my only exception. I've tried reading some of the other novels that are popular at this point and I really considered it garbage. Mmmm don't hate me guys. x)

6. I have a horrible temper, I just usually hide it! It's actually really funny sometimes.

7. I hate when people ask me questions in real life, but not so much online. I don't know why, I just do! I get especially pissy if during a conversation the person's hard of hearing and they keep saying, "WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?"

8. I also don't know how to take a compliment, OR a critique. But honestly I hate critique because there's always something somebody dislikes about my art that I really love. xP

Day three of recovery from my wisdom teeth being removed.
First day was... THE worst day of my life.
Basically.

I'm not even being dramatic. It hurt. SO MUCH. And I kept taking my painkillers even though they did almost nothing (aside from making me act like a stoned idiot)... and they made me vomit. Violently.

Oh, and all I could eat (when I could keep it down, HAH) was pudding. But all I could taste was blood. Because I kept bleeding. BLOOD PUDDING.

I rethink my avid daydreams of becoming a Cullen... Auuughnnnasstyyyybleh.

I'm much better NOW, even though I'm still very achy.
But my dad called me yesterday, and asked me if I wanted anything. SO I MADE HIM BUY ENCHANTED HAHA. I'm 18 years old, on the phone with my dad, "WELL UM. I FEEL SAD AND SICK AND I WANNNNNT IIIITTT?" I felt like such a brat, haha, but it was exactly what I needed to pick my spirits up.

Anyway, it was a small show, but really fun. I actually prefer smaller shows. He did a few covers... Harry and the Potters and Whompy. Ahh, it was good times. He's a complete sweetheart. My friends and I took pictures with him and chatted with him... he's great to his fans. AND he has AMAZING tees. I like my Remus tee way better than my Harry & the Potters tee, actually. Sorry guys. x)

Hey, I've been accepted to St. Louis Community College (Meramec) AND into their Fine Arts program, it only took them like three months to contact me. That doesn't sound to bad, but they said they'd contact me within FIVE DAYS. And it's really not a feat, apparently... everyone's like "Okay, well, they accept anyone and everyone. What's the big deal." WELL I WANTED TO GO THERE.

So. I really think I'm gonna go there. I don't want to go to Webster... NOW. I might even go to an art institute if my aspirations keep growing. We'll see. I need to develop some independence first.

So.
School Projects:
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I'm taking three art courses for my senior year. I've already completed my Portfolio class, and now I'm taking Painting 2 and Advanced Drawing.
And surprisingly

Drawing = WANT TO DIE
Painting = sheer bliss

I think it's because I have a smaller class and more freedom in Painting. Anyhow, we've got a new student teacher in our class. It's really not that big of a deal, but I think he's, like, the coolest person ever. It's nice to have another influence in the classroom other than my teacher's. Another cool thing is that we listened to the Across the Universe soundtrack today in both classes. Both this new teacher and my long-term teacher are Beatle fans, and I have to restrain myself from ranting.

Ahh. AHHHH.

Hmm...
I was on YouTube, browsing. And a lot of people were talking about how Harry Potter is just about over with.

I don't think it really hit me when I read the last book (and went to the opening night, etc), that... that was it. And there are two more movies to be released. After that, what? Harry Potter will be done with?! It's actually a scary thought for somebody who grew up with these books and movies. The presence of Harry Potter has always been there. It's crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the HBP film, it's my favorite novel out of the seven. But they should... slow it down. Because it's going to all be over with so soon!

I marveled at this to my Dad and he totally didn't understand. The best example I can give is the Beatles breaking up. It's just not supposed to happen. Even though you know things can't last forever. Though nothing is as bad as the Beatles breaking up, let's face it. (Let's not pretend I haven't cried over that before, and I wasn't even alive for it!)

I've unintentionally become even more obsessed with Harry Potter in the past year. HAH, my best friend and I made Harry Potter themed cupcakes on Friday because we're pretty cool. (And a few Twilight ones-- I made a Carlisle cupcake, haha!) Wizard Rock has defiantly gotten me sucked into Harry Potter again. I just can't believe it's gonna all end soon...

And I'm all "HAHAHA THEY DON'T GO TO SEATTLE!" Best chapter ever. I'd have the hardest time not pushing it with Edward Cullen being all sweet & sparkly on me. I'd be dead in an instant.

AUGUST 2nd.

So close, yet so far away.

& = hellas partying.

-Step 1: HYBERNATION. As in, sleeping a LOT, and possibly zonking ourselves out with whatever we need- warm milk, Nyquil, whatever it takes.
-Step 2: PARTYTIME. We're gonna have a pre-party and then go to a midnight party (we'll inquire and set one UP if we can't find one). At this party there will be plenty of caffiene, and we will take Mountain Dews with us to the Midnight Party.
-Step 3: READING. Prefereably until we finish all of those 800 pages. We may go to a park and read, or whoever's house we're staying at. But let's put it this way, as Abby said, "we are GOING to BREAK DAWN."
-Step 4: BLISSFUL COMA. Once we have finished the book, we will sleep all day dreaming about the awesomeness that is Edward Cullen.

And Harry Potter & tHBP previews are on youtube. No trailer as they're still filming, but still, check it out. I can't wait! And it's being released on my birthday! Ahhh this movie better be amazing because it's my favorite book out of the series.

So, on my art:
Right now I'm working on a meme that is taking FOREVER because it's literally like 20 questions long, and my tablet is frustratiiinggguuuhhhrrrrghhhraaawr.
And yes, lately it's been nothing but Twilight art. Euuugh, sorry. BUT, I'm going to try to grab my portfolio out of the art room and take some pictures of some school projects I have stuck in there. Now that Portfolio class is over, I have Painting 2 and Advanced Drawing. But I sit next to the best painter in the school (ABIGAIL I LOVE YOU) and I suck at painting, this class is going to embarrass me.

I'm like, getting carpal tunnel from all the typing and coloring and drawing I've been doing lately. AUGH OH MY GOD. I think I'm actually going to cut this entry short for now.
