It calmed down for a while. Then all of a sudden- with NO warning whatsoever, the storm BITCH-SLAPPED us! :rofl:
In our area, we had a little over 1 inch of rain, and 45 mph gusts. The wind was howling and whistling, blowing things against our house and into our yard...
To make matters worse, we have a big 'ole eucalyptus tree in our yard. That thing... Was blowing around like a friggin wet noodle! O.O The tree is... Much smaller and much thinner than it was two days ago. xD All of the branches landed on the crappy-ass neighbors house! (HAHA :pointandlaugh:) So that lifted our spirits a little- when we weren't busy huddling together in fear. :XD:
Some of you might think that the storm that we had is wimpy compared to what you get in your region, but... Here in our area? The most we get on average is a little bit of rain here and there, and some 15 mph winds at the most.
This scared the HELL out of us.
So yesterday when the storm hit, our power went out at around 10 AM. It was out alllll day long and through the night. The power JUST came back around 15 minutes ago, and it's 5:20 PM.
So we've been without power for around... 30 hours. O.o
Surprised that some of us survived- being without video games and all. xD
But it's been VERY hard and stressful. For we have 16 animals that rely on heating pads to keep them up and alive. And with no power, our poor little geckos and single snake were as cold as ice cubes. So my kind, devoted mom stayed awake for most of the hours of the night, picking up each gecko and holding them for an amount of time to warm them up.
I picked up my snake, Aaron a few times- he was very cold and lethargic. (he crapped all over me today too... >_> )
My bro-and-law, sister and I played Monopoly and Life a few times- kept us occupied. And I had charged my DS to a full battery the day before the storm, so that gave me something to do.
We had a little bit of electricity, for my dad had recently bought a generator. (it runs on gas) So we were able to channel electricity from the generator to the refrigerator, the small tv, and a lamp- all in the kitchen. Today, we hooked all of the gecko heaters to the generator in a panic- though it was a bit of a dangerous risk. Not sure how- my dad didn't explain much- he didn't want to freak me out lol.

So the storm still kinda lingers.. We're in the clear now, but there are a few dark clouds scattered here and there. We had one clap of thunder this morning, then one last one about two hours ago.
All in all.. That was the scariest fackin storm I've ever been through. :rofl: I've never seen anything like it. Oh, and the people on the news say that one place got 10.4 inches or so of rain, while another place got gusts of wind up to 87 mph. O.o
.......I think I like it here. :XD:
Well, off to play Final Fantasy. I've been having FFXI withdrawals all this time. :crazy:
Ya think I would've been working on my wolf this whole time with the power outage and all... But no. My environment has to be perfect in order to draw. I need peace to make art, ya know?! :D

Ahhh... Light.. TV... Video Games... Internet... I love it!!! :faint:

It's like the crack for gamers! My life has been absorbed into this game- and that's PROBABLY why I'm kinda sorta responding to all of your messages and stuff... kinda sorta.... super late. And I sawwy. ;3;

Something bad happened to our kitty, Felix the other day... And we think it was from our crazy cat Klondike.
First off, my dad saw Felix walking out of the backyard towards the back door. All of a sudden, Klondike jumps out of nowhere and attacks Felix- a normal everyday sight, usually.
So we go out back after letting Klondike in, because Felix is sitting in the middle of the grass, completely still. He was looking down at the ground, so I took a good look at his face, and something was oozing out of his eyeball. We took a closer look, and it looked like something literally popped his eyeball.
We rushed him to the vet and now he has a flap sewn to his upper eyelid, keeping his eye closed. He also has a flexible cone around his neck. It's the saddest sight- The night that he came home, I just held him for a while.
So we're thinking that our cat Klondike did it to him... Kind of scared about what he might do to our other cats. O.o

Anyhoo, that's what's been goin on, and that's why I've been slacking off with... stuff. :P

....OH YEAH!! I made THE best tuna today! I took two cans of tuna, drained the juice (We always give the tuna juice to the cats- although I usually take a few sips before that... ^^; What can I say... I'm a fish freak.), and I mushed up the tuna real good. See, I LOVE the tuna sandwiches at Togos (which is soooo sad cuz they're not gonna be Togos anymore... D:) so I tried to figure out what they did. The tuna had a really nice feel to it. And then... AH HAH! Yes! Of course! You moosh it up real good until it just kinda looks like strips.. or something... >>
So then, I chopped up little dill pickles and black olives, mixed mayo with the tuna and YUM. Y-U-M-M-Y!!! I coulda eaten it out of the bowl!! Tastes UBER UBER UBER UBER GOOD if it's been chilled in the refrigerator for a while! =D

But uhm... I tried one of the little dill pickles and they were REALLY really good. What I'm getting at is uhm.. Oh what the hell...

Still having Halo 3 withdrawals... And for some reason, I can't bring myself to drink diet pepsi lately. O____o It's probably that weird taste I have in my mouth from whatever the hell I have. It'll probably wear off. But then again... IT COULD BE FROM LACK OF HALO 3!! AAAAAAH!! :sprint:
I got the package to ship my 360 in the other day, and we sent it off for repairs yesterday. So I'm either gonna get it back all fixed up or... If it's un-fixable or something then... I get a new one. Which would actually make my heart sad. .__. HAHA...

But uh... At the same time, my sister, brother-in-law and I cooked up an awesome idea!! We got into talking about funny stuff in Halo 3, and the BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS brain of my brother-in-law started working and he started cracking these funny Halo 3 related jokes.
All of a sudden, the little light bulb thing tinged over my brilliant sister's head and she pointed at me and said:
"YOU SHOULD MAKE COMICS OUT OF THESE!!"
And then that's it. For the rest of the afternoon, we were cooking up these funny ideas for a Halo 3 comic series. Once I get my skillzzzz back, then I'll start on them. I'm not gonna say too much, but we're thinking of calling it:
"The Adventures of The Master Chief and the Arbiter!!"
And let me tell you... It's gonna be AWESOME! I'll be posting them all here on DA, and we all just have this gut feeling... We KNOW that we're gonna be having people in stitches- and at the same time, a WHOLE HELL of a lot of flamers... @______________@

The game is legendary. I've beaten it five times on heroic so far, and I'm still going. I got the Limited Edition version of the game on the first day it came out. (My AWESOME sister and brother-in-law went to the midnight release. They got the LEGENDARY Edition!!! D: )
Yeah. I was SUPPOSED to get the Legendary Edition... I reserved it even. But stupid Gamestop made a BIIIIG mistakey and thought that I reserved the Limited Edition. Waaaah...
But I love the Limited Edition nonetheless!! The Covenant Species book thinger is AWESOME!

....There were A LOT of other things that I was supposed to talk about... But... My brain cells are on a different planet right now. Yeah... I've been playing Halo nonstop ever since I got it. The 25th... Yeah, nonstop as in... Play all day long nonstop, go to sleep... Wake up, drink Pepsi, play some more. HAHA! I barely even stop to eat, so I think I've even lost a pound or two! :rofl:!! I could start a business!! Play Halo 3, lose weight!! Hmm... :plotting:

Oh, and it's a fact that night crime rates increase BIG time on nights with a full moon. And they say that the crime rates are double that amount on the night of an eclipse! It has something to do with the gravitational pull making humans aggressive or something. It's interesting though!

The little ones were very calm when we opened their egg cup. They just seemed like they didn't even notice us. We placed their egg cup in a prepared vivarium, and they still just stood there. Oh, my mother just said that one jumped out of the egg cup into the vivarium! :XD:
They're usually very wily when they're babies- They zip around the cage, and when you try to interact with them, they squeak and quack at you! They make the funniest noises!
So, we have the vivarium covered so that they aren't scared or startled by their surroundings. And if they haven't already, they're going to eat the rest of the yolk inside of their eggshells.
Haha, this means that we need to buy more of those tiny crickets. :] Same as every year.

In other news, I think I'm coming down with something REALLY bad. If I'm not on DA for a while, it's probably because I'm laying in bed with some CRAZY illness of some sort! oO;
Ugh.. I've already got a severe case of vertigo. I fell back in my chair already- it's a good thing the laundry hamper was behind me to catch me! :rofl:!!

Plus I have this problem with my left eye... It started out two days ago when I tried to go to sleep, and it felt like I had an eyelash in my eye but nothing was there. So I'm gonna get a futon for juicy couch/bed goodness, a big TV monitor thing specially made for playing video games on, another dresser, a coffee table or something... and that's probably it. Cuz I have no furniture in my room since we lugged that huge loft bed outta there. That thing was enjoyable when I was little cuz I actually FIT up there, but I started getting claustrophobic as I got older... :paranoid:
And that's how the room was neglected forever and ever and therefore collected many families of black widows and shtuff... And that's why there's HUUUGE dent in the couch from where I've been sleeping for over a year or so. ^^ HEHEHEHE... haaaaaaaaaaaah.... -____-;

Oh and... About four days ago, I got this HUUUUGE mosquito bite on my hand. Really itchy... >< Yesterday, I started feeling really shitty- and I still do. I'm constantly tired, I've had a huge headache, my body aches, and I kinda feel like I'm getting a cold. So get this. On the news about a week ago, they said something about the West Nile virus being around here. And for those who don't know, the mosquito is the main vessel for the West Nile virus. And I looked on this site last night to check up on the symptoms. I have them... :fear:

They're called Cthonic. Yeah, sometimes I wish the singer would shut up, but then again I have to give him credit, for he can switch the tone of his voice from REALLY high pitched to ground-trembling low. And they use a Chinese violin or something- they're REALLY cool!
Plus I like this band called the showdown... and... well.... I wasn't too crazy about Ankla and Nile, but I like a few of their songs.
Lordi was a JOKE. They screamed the same words over and over and over again- and to make it worse, their songs sounded the same. BLEH!! I'm surprised that my ears didn't explode blood. :XD: Nice pyrotechnics, though. The lead singer had a battle axe for a microphone stand (like kiss). That was pretty cute. But I laughed my ass off when his cape flared out into bat wings- the mechanics on that were horrible and slow- and he also had like... Ten inch white platforms. XDDD He looked like he belonged in a drunken Halloween disco, or something! :rofl:
So when lamb of god came one (love 'em!) this HUGE ass mosh pit started! We were sitting high up on the hill, so from up there, the mosh pit looked like it was in the shape of an infinity sign. The pit stretched at least halfway across the lawn seats, and it was so big that there were islands of people in the middle. XDXDXD And people started lighting things on fire in the middle and setting off fire crackers- it was AWESOME!! And Ozzy actually jumped two inches off of the ground this year! :rofl: He's so awesome.

Okay. Here's a funny story. They were giving out free Monster drinks. I know. WEWT!! So in order to drink a Monster, you had to stay within a little "pen", probably so that people didn't throw their cans everywhere. So there were three choices of Monsters: The regular one(gree), the lo-carb one(blue), and the ASSAULT(red). Assault had major caffeine, and it was extra strong, and bigger than the others. I chose the Assault. X)
So we wanted to finish up quickly so that other people could come in and get a drink, cuz they were waiting in line. So we tried drinking fast. Know what I did? I DOWNED IT. :rofl: And my sissy got a picture of it. And as I'm finishing up, I get this HORRID... SICK-ass feeling in my stomach. We all leave the pen, and I'm kinda lagging behind, feeling like I'm gonna toss any moment. So we sit by the medical tent, cuz I really need to sit down. And I swear to god, if I didn't have the strong concentration that I have today, I woulda puked blood and probably had a heart attack. :rofl: And I had already drank a regular Monster that morning, so I was all hyped up for the day.
But maaaaan... That was on Thursday. It's Sunday night (or Monday morning) and I'm still feeling it. My knees feel like they're gonna explode, my spine feels like it's gonna pop out of my body, my neck is all spazy, and I rattled my brain quite a bit. =D But I'm not nearly as bad as LAST year.

Soooo... Not only that.... But something freaky happened last weekend.
First of all, I haven't been in my room for over a year now. Yeah. It was so messy that I've been sleepin on the couch. And it went from there. Last weekend, I finally got into it because I really need my privacy back, and all of this nagging is making my brain explode- and that's never good.
So... As I'm really just digging through my room, actually having fun, I run into... A BLACK FUCKING WIDOW. And she was a female.
Now. I don't mind spiders. At all. I don't mind black widows either. I actually like them, they're pretty sights. But they're bad when they're indoors. I don't want them jeopardizing my family's health. So... sadly, I had to kill her. I keep going through my room, with a little more caution of course. I tip over a peice of furnture and check its underside. ANOTHER BLACK WIDOW. And she too, was a girl. And not only that, but I found a whole bunch of spider eggs next to her- but they were old and hatched. Yup. Totally empty.
So by now, I'm all twitched out and stuff. And now, my happy time cleaning my room has turned upside down. Now I'm freaked out like a little girly girl.... And as I progress through my room, I find four more younger black widows.
And that was IT. I said NO and walked out of there and shut the door. Told my parents... My mom was all freaked out... But my dad suggested bug-bombing it. ......SIIIIGH... And I hate to admit it, but I decided to go with that. I hate killing things... ._. And I was sad.
So we bombed my room. >>
But afterwards, the MOTH CATERPILLARS on the ceiling were still alive. But my poor daddy-long-legs spider, George, was hanging by one leg in his web!! :cries: :cries: :cries: I was so sad... I must've "evacuated" the wrong spider. And I knew it was George because he had six legs, not eight. And I didn't really pay attention to the spider that I saved, because my dad was rushing me, so... ...um... and my bed is covered with junk cuz I actually began to clean my horribly horrible room the other day. ...and in order to clean the floor, I had to move stuff off the floor which meant putting that stuff on the bed.
Reason why this subject is 'mmmmm... dirty laundry'? Well... Cuz it seems that my best option here is to sleep in a pile of dirty laundry. It's the most comfy option here- I mean, I'm not going lie strewn across two chairs- oh no. My spine nearly exploded the last time I did that.

I watched Edward Scissorhands for the first time last night. Always heard that it was a really good movie, and I've always wanted to watch it, but never got around to it until then.
:cries: :cries: WHAT A SAD FRIGGIN MOVIE!! I hella cried at the end! And I NEVER cry! Especially for a movie! I try my best to AVOID sad depressing things! And even so, I loved that movie! I wish I could watch it from the beginning. I walked in during the middle. For those who haven't watched it yet, I recommend you to do so!
Anyhoo... I should go. I told my daddy that I would only be on for a half hour, and I think it's been MUUUCH longer than that. So...

OMG, I was hella scared when the nurse chick was preparing me for the surgery. I was just laying there, and she was being a bitch too. -_-* Yeah, shitty. Anyhoo, the doc put the I.V. in me and was like: "You're gonna feel REAL good in a few seconds."
And I say: "Oh, really? Like how------ BLEH......"
O.o' All I remember was THINKING "Oh, really? Like how?" I don't know if I even actually said anything. Next thing I know, I'm awake with my mouth all numb and there was this thing on my head holding ice to my fac and thought "....the hell is this thing...? I VICE?!" And I was seriously konked out. I barely remember anything. But I remember my dad SHOOSHING the nurses and doctors and my mom, and the next thing I know, I'm in the car, shaking this random guy's hand, and THEN the next thing I know, I'm at home, trying to shove a spoonfull of chocolate pudding in my mouth. ....>.>' And I missed. BADLY. And I could vaguely hear my mom and dad laughing, but their voices seemed muffled and the echoed. It was the WEIRDEST THING...
Anyhoo, I'd type more, but my daddy's rushing me. SEE YA!!

I was doing laundry and there's this big pile of clothes on the floor, yeah? Well... As I was walking away from the washer, I slipped on a pair of underwear (puuuuke!) and fell flat on my back... I already have a spine that's SLOWLY but surely fusing together!! I already have a misplaced shoulder blade!! I DONT NEED ANYMORE BACK PROBLEMS!! And my neck is all cramped up from sleeping the wrong way.
And the reason why I tell you guys these things is cuz most people find my pain and suffering amusing, or entertaining. xD HAHAHA!! .....haaaaaaah........
Hey, it's entertaining to me too!! I tumbled down a flight of stairs once, and by the time I finally hit the bloody floor, I was laughing my ass off!! xD I still laugh at that!
