Is it really true that our military power has to be used to actually police the entire world? Even though, we do have ships and soldiers on stand-by, but don't give me that cowboy crap that Bush used in Iraq. Saddam is dead, the middle east will not get better, and this whole war on terrorism is not cool. Flag me all you want, but think about it... Is there a real reason for us to be in the Middle East? Since they have been killing each other since the dawn of time!

Ugh... I'm tired of war that we cannot afford!!

Anyways, the next major holiday is Thanksgiving, or as I call it, Turkey Day. I don't use this holiday for what it means, but it's just great to have what little family that I have over at the house for some huge bird roasted to doneness. Ah... my life is done.

Let me set the scene...

Normal Summer Morning, I was preparing for a short-but-sweet hike on Palos Verdes Hill. 2-3 trails was my max. My hiking buddy, who is also a ex-marine and fellow bowler, picked me up for this hike. The first trail was a doozy, but I continued on.

The second trail was kinda nasty, but made it through. Then, trail number three...

I got to the halfway point and was ready to go backwards, but I wanted to conquer this trail, but when grade of the hill went into over 15%, I stopped on a staircase that was made for the house beside the trail, and I can feel that my heart was about to give up. I did make it to the end, but my body has taken a severe pounding and to my fellow readers, I will give you this...

Has the human body can has limitions? This I ask you.

However, against my better judgement, I took my bike for a quick ride to the Harbor-Gateway Library just to drop off some DVDs that I borrowed, but I feel off on my driveway to get going, and on the asphalt on Western AVE.

I've got my badges of both stupidity and limitations. I'm ashamed that I now know my physical limits, but I will still continue on to my health and well-being, not my mental well-being though...

Anyways, that's my progress for now, but I wish to hear from the people who are both watching me and to you, reader of this journal.

Too all Duke Nukem Fans, this is not a total loss. Duke Nukem Forever is still in production, and the Duke Nukem Trilogy for the PSP and the DS is still on track, but the mighty has fallen to the economy. I found out the news on GameSpot while surfing GameFAQs on my PSP. It is true that 3d has had problems, but I think if DNF makes it, we will have a final Duke Nukem game to play.

I'm kinda bored over here, but like I care. I've got more important stuff to deal with my life. Although that I have to continue to bowl on Wednesday and Thursday nights, but also with the Eagles as Officer and now that I think about it, I've going to go through the chairs. (So to speak)

Nothing new over here to say, but I planning to gain 3 new games: Dragon Quest V, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume, and Pokémon Platinum.

I've finished Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest IV, but now I'm waiting on these games.

I've got a job now, I'm doing Janitorial work at the lodge and for good pay. Hopefully, I can get a new computer, or a new console. I'm leaning towards a laptop, but I can wait.

E3 like Lizpig, Tokyo Game Show, is nothing more than a big, quoting the Late George Carlin, "Stroke job."

I've seen my share of blog posts and videos to make this journal and my incites for the VG Industry.

Microsoft: Meh, some things that they showed are nice, but... I'm only waiting on 2 games and one of them are Multi-Console: Fable II, and Fallout III.

Nintendo: The Big N was ok, but some of the games that were rumored to be announced were MIA as usual. Nothing on new Mario and Legend of Zelda, but that can wait for their press conference b4 the Tokyo Game Show, in September. Animal Crossing was good to hear, and for most Voice Chat whiners, IMO I could care Less about that crap!!!!!, But the next AC which is #4 in the series, (Animal Forest was on the N64, but only in Japan) is really cool that some of the games that I'm waiting on is coming.

Sony: I'll tell you this, Sony did all right this E3, but... with Quest for Booty, and Resistance 2, Sony really needs to step it up if they wish to compete with Microsoft for the Core gamers.

Also speaking of you Hardcore Gamers out there, how does it feel to be the minority in the industry? The days of the SNES-PSX era is long gone and will return, but when? Maybe after 2012...

I would like to go on a HUGE Rant, but why should I care about this crap? I'll tell you, These shows are nothing more than to tell the others on how they are doing and what are they coming out with. Gamers everywhere in the NTSC-U region (North American region FYI) I have a feeling that when E For All comes around that we should skip it and tell the ESA, (They run E3) to bring back the atomshpere that was E3, back in 06.

Also, I've been watching some Panel de Pon vids, and it got me thinking. Could Panel de Pon come over here as a Import title for the Super Famicom, but more likely we will get Yoshi de Panepon ala Tetris Attack. I would like to see Lip and her Fairy Friends, but Panel de Pon should have an update and uploaded to WiiWare.

A pipe dream, but some puzzle games scream update and Wii Ware.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends for the Gamecube: My Personal Score: 9.5/10.

This game is a gem in the GCN library. A RPG from Sega that isn't Phantasy Star. A smart game with soild gameplay, but the length will put off some gamers. Also, FF XII had Sky Pirates, but this game revolves around them! Skies has beautiful music, and the charaters sometimes make you laugh. If you can find this pick it up, since it went under many gamers radars in '02.

Just accept this delay and focus on the 1/15 update! Zelda's OoT Counter Part has gotten the Twilight Princess update to her outfit and she is back with her old moveset and Sakauri leaked Zelda's Final Smash: The Holy Light Arrow. Since Sheik and Zelda are the same damn person that makes sense that they have the same Final Smash.

I would rant more, but I would both run out of Ideas, and I will swear like an Engineer whose most important invention just got destroyed into a million bits. So I'll write this up and to all people who wants SSBB out now, I just have to say one thing: Be patient!

Well on Monday, Sakauri made an annoucement for a new charater for Brawl: It's the Hero of MOTHER 3: Lucas!! With Ness making the Mother series popular, Lucas can get support for bringing Mother 3 to the USA!

We are beings of Light. The darkness in our hearts are there, but not pure. The thing is that we can see the power of darkness for ourselves, but do not tangent off that way. I can see that we are here to solve the problems that Gaia has left us and I say let's get to find out those problems right now and seek out a solution that we can be all proud of.

I'm waiting for Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Metroid Prime 3: Courrption and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are a couple of games that I am getting.

Some of the extra perphials are Awesome! The Zapper is coming and the Steering Wheel. I'm waiting for some better VC downloads like Mother 1 and EarthBound. Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, and Super Mario Kart, and Donkey Kong 64.

Just that some games are not going to be available for the VC.

Just that I am waiting endlessly for my 20th Birthday and Hopefully get one game that I wanted to play: SimCity DS
