The flight went smoothly and I arrived at the Portland International Airport at 8:20 am. :devscorpio60: was there to pick me up and we drove promptly into Vancouver, WA for a delicious crepe breakfast. My visit with :devquietchildae: and :devrestemaIII: was awesome! The decompression was lots of fun. There were bright colors, magnificent costumes, tasty goodies, beautiful art, and all sorts of interesting things to do. :devwynnesome: got a great shot of me playing in the art with my tutu on.

We drove about in Joshua Tree National Park and shot on some big gorgeous rocks, then we drove a bit out of the park and :devgroovaciousk: and I got strung up by :devdonsirphotography:. We got some more spectacular shots and those lovely little bruises that go along with them. Then we made our way out of the park and got naked in public in front of the Joshua Tree National Park bottle tree to grab some shots.

In the lead with 72 :+fav:s, this was shot for Will Springfield's Coffeetable Project. My thumb and forefinger went numb for about a week and a half after this shoot from hanging on that huge table for an extended period of time. I think we all agree that it was well worth it though. ;)

After :devlittlegett: did me up all fancy with costuming and stuck me on this awesome wooden table I was playing around with poses and seeing where my feet could go comfortably. As I was coming out of this pose he looked up and said, "Can you do that again?!" And thus the first shot of the set was born.

When you really begin to see the damage someone or a group of someone's is doing to you that's when it's time to let go. So I'm lucky there won't be a monthly meeting in August. Hopefully it will make it that much easier to stand my ground and keep my distance in the coming months.

I went to the beach yesterday with a couple of friends and ended up actually playing in the water like I haven't done since high school because it was so windy that laying out on the beach meant you basically got smacked in the face with sand the whole time.

I of course brought 45 spf sunscreen I just didn't use it since more often than not I have an unpleasant reaction to the sunscreen itself.
