I can't stand it, feels like an insult, it's as if it's form of undermining something, like praising someone for doing no work, not quite like that but... bah, it's all elusive.

In other news Major works is finishing up nicely, last person is almost done, and the tutorial movies are begining, I've also been writing down what I've learnt from each painting to prepare the speechs for the presentation, I hope it to be fun with lots of jokes and references to Norm's age, should make him more comfortable than being thanked .
Also getting back into fun drawing, trying to do more anime styled characters, WoW, DnD, etc, back to the reason why I began this obsession, because it's FUN.

And as soon as my net stops dieing of frost fever, I'll be sure to post up some pics of what I've drawn.

Blizzard's first day drained my internet entirely >.> but fortunately through certain connections and coincidental possibly not quite so, not entirely illegal activity, I got to see number 2# day as well, with some most intriguing information ^^, a real slap in the face to know that everything I needed to learn about programming, video positioning, and anything to do with getting a job involving games in general, had been sitting on my desktop most of my life *facepalm*

Major works: I'VE FINISHED GEOFFREY! More or less, I need to find a good place to bury him, but at least I've got his painting done! I'm also looking into doing a piano piece as a closer for my lil presentation, but, we'll see what we'll see, now, it's onto to finishing Kelly.

Other stuffs: We're going to Vanuatu on our class trip!! Should be a nice zen balanced adventure.
Labyrinth for class play! Although technically it's a maze >.> I'm Bowie for first, and last sections, Matt really wanted to say 'tra la la'....I don't blame him *tear* such an unnecessary and awesome line.

hsc garbage, and more importantly STAT! Will be coming up eventually, I'll need to work on 'translating' the questions, they always sound so illogical and round about the way they word them, just to see if we knowz grammar >.> although it defeats the purpose in my opinion, an extremely metaphorical example would be to say that it is similar to asking people who don't speak english to complete an english written test.

Got some good anatomy books from good ol' Norm, maybe after these major works are done I can start investing to some illustrations of my own, I've had this studio ghibli inspired story in my mind for a while, would be nice to get some concept art to get the magical ball of plot rolling.

It's getting to the point where I will have to stop painting the people, I can't just continual add untill I'm satisfied...because I'm never satisfied with what I do, I'll just have to paint everybody with some good depth, solid colours, and hopefully some truthful aruas.
Also working on the academic book that looks at my major works from a narrative/tips/notes perspective, along with a look at art as a mood setting in media (literature, animation, games).

But really, what..why..who is all this for? Why am I even dragging out this obsession of mine anyway, from what's in front of me, it is meaningless, at least from what I CAN see.
More dreams of late, how wonderful one of my wishes might be corrupted by an imp of interpretation... aka; the dreams involve fucked up shit.

Still, we must press on, the hour is upon, arm ourselves with that which is true to us, and strike at the unrelenting flames! *coughs up a bug* damn writers, lets do this shit!!

I'd like to be playing WoW ah the moment, but my self control seems to be still hold out, I have been having withdrawal dreams though, one last night of discovering that I'd been picked for beta starcraft 2.... so happy *sniff*.

Major works are still rolling, I shall post up one of them to show where everyone is generally at the moment. I'm still having proplems drawing original concept stuff, I'm going to try this theory when I have time, when you try to draw from your mind, unless you have a clear concept, the sketch is usually skewif, I've been told though that you should let the drawing direct you with whats wrong.

Because it's common sense.... in a sense...you've seen people, faces all the time, it's just a matter of conciously saying 'what is wrong with this'. Also Derren Brown talking about pretending to be Psychic, I saw a recording of one of his live performances, and he managed to convince an audience member to unlock a 3 digit lock without her possibly knowing of the combination: "You think you don't know because you couldn't know, that it's impossible, but it's not impossible, you know there's only 3 combinations, let's say you do know, like playing a game where you pretend your psychic" and she got it right etc. Hopefully drawing with that mindset will help.

I want to write some sort of poem thing but my talent and enthusiasm for it is practically nill, an endless paradox.

Towards the end of the party I just sat in the sidelines watching everyone, and it felt very much like an epiphany of sorts, just to see what you think of certain people, your expectations, your respects for these people, sink slightly......

update: It's really hard to colour/shade skin properly, I'd like to get the thicker tones you see in most good digital art now adays but It's seems that whatever I try just doesn't have that thickness or the colour doesn't work/doesn't smudge right.
I haven't even started on the nipple but it's midnight so I might go to bed soon.

BARELY! any work done >.< damn friday, all I have been able to do was very basic colours on friend profile paintings, meaning operation fairyslaughter will have to be delayed, thanks too my new friend Alchohol, unfortunately he forgets to clean up after words so yeah... I just hope I'll be able to finish Mollys and fefes presents in time. >.< concepts and basic sketches are in the works so yah... ooh the pain of it all.
