The big San Diego Comic Con is coming up in a week and I'll be there this year!  Of course i'll be with the Udon Crew (although from the sound of it it sounds more like the Udon army!).  This will be my 4th SDCC that i'll be attending and every year i always feel like i didn't see as much as i would like.  So THIS year, along with doing all the con commitments that i need to do, i'm going to try to really take in the experience not only as a professional, but a fan as well!

Where did you go to school?

Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario.  I studied illustration interperative.

What kinds of pencils do you use to draw?

I use a mechanical pencil mostly at a .5 thickness and a 2H lead.  The 2H lead is soft enough to leave a dark enough mark, yet hard enough that it won't smudge as easily as say, an HB lead.

this sort of stems from the new "fair exposure" thing that dA has adopted.  but i'm not entirely sure if it really has anything to do with it.

very very sad news.  i really love him as an actor and he was about as talented as they came.  the new batman trailer was literally carried by his joker performance and i can't wait to see his work when the film does finally come out. but i'm absolutely shocked by this news!!  at first i thought this was some sort of sick viral marketing scheme to promote the movie but unfortunately the story is becoming more and more true as reports start to come in by the minute..

i know i know i should just ignore, especially in this case where it wasn't even made on my page, but here's the jist of what was said:

"you should post more of this person's artwork because his is better than all of the stuff in your gallery" (basically a person in a group or club on DA)

i'm not going to say who said it or where it was posted but i mean c'mon! giving an opinion doesn't mean you have to be an ass about it.

a simple "why don't you post some of this stuff? i'm a big fan of it" would suffice, no?
