I just finished the Fullmetal Alchemist anime.

One word explains it.

EPIC

I swear to God, no other anime could make me laugh, cry, and FEEL so much. It's got so much..... family, love, hate, regret, anger, joy, sorrow, resentment......

BROTHERHOOD.

The best word to describe what Fullmetal Alchemist is all about.

BROTHERHOOD

And, man, I need to get home tomorrow, run in, grab the box the movie came in earlier this week while I was in self-exile, and RIP IT OPEN!!!

I NEED to see this movie!!!

I need..... Well, frankly, I need more Edo. And Aru. And I need Fullmetal Alchemist, in it's awesomeness and glory.

I mean, Natsuo has an eyepatch! He rocks it! And Youji is just cute..... plus, they have ears! Unlike Yamato and Kouya.... But out of everyone in the series, I like Soubi best. He's just gone through so much..... His parents died when he was 6, and he went through Seimei's death (heh, nope) and then all that angst when he heard Seimei's voice.... along with the fact that Nisei's his new Fighter..... So sad..... T__T I'll post a page that may not make any sense, but it's the most emotional (sad) I've ever seen Sou-chan.: [link] If you really want to see how sad he gets, go through the rest of this chapter and ontinue to the next, and go through it. It's really sad..... Well, you wouldn't get why he's upset unless you read the chapter before.... and you wouldn't understand that unless you read the rest before. I suppose it's a vicious cycle. >.< I love Loveless, anyway, though.~ Sou-chan is so cute..... the only thing that weirded me out a bit is that the art style changed almost COMPLETELY by about chapter 60. Point of Interest #2!!! I bought the whole original Fullmetal Alchemist anime on DVD!!! I got the two season box sets, on eBay, for about $60. They came together, and they should be shipping in about a week. Or rather, I should be getting them in about a week. YAAAAAYY!!! All I need to do now is save up a bit more to buy the movie, Conqueror of Shamballa, in Special Edition format. YEAH!!! **Is buying it for the cute little postcards**


Point of Interest #3!! Vampire Knight, the awesome smash-hit anime that we all (pretty much) know and love is BEING DUBBED!!!! Viz announced getting the rights to Vampire Knight at their secong Saturday Comic-Con panel. I'm so excited to hear their choices for the voices!!! Not to mention when it is released on DVD!!! I'm so happy!!!!!~


Not to forget my favorite hanyou!!! Inuyasha is being CONTINUED!!!!! The new episodes will be continuing where the old naime left off, going all the way to the end of the manga! It's called Inuyasha: Kanketsu-hen, of Inuyasha: The Final Act, will be aired in Japan in the fall. The original voice cast is all onboard, too!! I'm so excited!!!!~~~~

Excitedness! Why, you ask? Because, I just MIGHT be going to an anime con this summer! And do what there? COSPLAY!

This si my first cosplay..... interesting, it will be. I'm going as Aru from FMA, after he gets his body back.... only because I have his hair color and I've always wanted to wear leather pants~

I'm just worried about the whole "putting the costume together" thing. I have NO sewing skills whatsoever, nor do I have any cash. So, I plan TRYING (TRYING) to sew the outfit......... I'll definitely have issues with the pants....... Oi!

My friend, Brii-chan, is going as Misa-Misa from Death Note. I was going to go as Raito, but, alas, I'd need a wig..... (sigh) I really would have been a good Raito-kun, too....

But I'm gonna be Al! If I see someone as Ed, I swear to God I'm going to run up to them like "NII-SAN!!!" XDDD They'll be like WTF???

It's basically the school letting us take a high school course early because we're speecial talents in art, or something like that. Well, Studio has a HUGE final at the end of the year. On the sacred Last Day. AFTER EVERYONE ELSE GETS OUT. Well, we have about an hour between when we finish our Language finals and when we have to be back in school for our Studio Exam. My friends wanted to go to the Friendly's around the block from the school for lunch inbetween 10:05 and 11:15, the time we had to get back to the school and finish up our courses. Well...... things didn't go exactly as planned......

To put it quite simply, Nicole and I met up with our pal Zoe, one of our friends who hadn't gotten into Studio, but our very best friend, and we set off to Friendly's. When we got there, there was a HUGE line of people out front, mostly JFS students. We were crestfallen (Zoe, Nicole and I are HUGE fans of the Soda That Is Blue) and decided to go on to the Manley's Mighty Mart down the street. We got there and decided it wasn't much worth it. Mind you, we had about 45 minutes left to get some food, eat it, and make it back in time to take the exam. We went to the Pat Mitchell's Ice Cream place, but there was no one to serve us, and we decided against waiting. Then there was the Custard Corner across the street. We went across the street, not really paying attnetion to traffic, to tell the truth, and looked in the window. They opened at noon. We were totally bushed at that point, and so decided to go into the K-Mart and grab some munchies. I grabbed a box of Zebra Cakes, some Jack Link's Beef Jerky (Original pwns every other flavor) and a 20 oz of Sobe Nirvana (the delicious mango melon kind.....). Nicole got some jerky, a milkshake, some Chex Mix and a Mtn Dew. Zoe was all like FOOD and grabbed some Goldfish, and two cans of Monster. We glommed down our munchies right in front of the store, on a bench, then Nicole and I saw the time and hightailed out little asses to the school.

Well, the final? IT WAS A BEAST!!!! I swear, there were 80 multiple choices(not so bad), a section on drawing (to be expected), and essay on art movements, a matchup with examples of art from that movement and the movement thereby associated, and an essay on art critiques! I was SO FRUSTRATED!!! The questions were SO CONFUSING, on stuff we NEVER LEARNED!!! And the art movements weren't bad at all..... I studied the holy fluffernutters out of those things..... but the ESSAYS!!!!! I SWEAR, IF I HAD TO SEE ONE MORE LINED PIECE OF PAPER THIS WEEK, I MIGHT EXPLODE!!!!! I was like 0_0 No way in HELL am I taking any more DAMNED FINALS!!!...... But then my amazingly awesome daddy came and picked me up by the side of the building, and now I'm HOME! For the SUMMER!!!! YEEAAAH!!!!

So, here's the scoop. I'm going to probably scan a bunch of Fullmetal Fanart today, just because that's all I've really been drawing lately...... Ed just seems to get in my brain and never leave..... And listen to a bunch of AOL Radio Anime Radio and Japanese Pop. That's really the only two stations I listen to nowadays, next ot the local rock station, 92.5 KGB! Those guys rock! But yeah, so I'm out of school! WHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

1. I'm interested in selling my Chibi Vampire mangas 1-12 and novels 1-3 to get some quick cash (God knows I wasted a bunch of it just BUYING these beasts). And I was wondering..... Anyone interested?? Most of them are in pretty good condition, 1 and maybe 2(I don't have them on hand at the moment) have some tape around the edges, because there's some cover splitting I wanted to cover up without thinking. They're all in perfect condition on the inside, and I'm REALLY willing to let them go..... I love the story and all, but they're taking up space and I never read them.

2. I'm going to be home ALOT this summer, and I hope to produce some rokkin' pics in that time. I want to sell some commissions, but I'm 14 and have NO IDEA how to make it so I get the profit without my parent's knowledge. Help, please??

I'm getting psyched for my eighth grade social coming up....... It's pretty much and end of year semi-formal to remember the (not so) good old days at good 'ol JFS (you wierdos out there, you look me up I kill you).
I bought my dress today (dress shopping with my mom, reason for the tiredness mentioned above in "Mood") My dress is a rich sky blue with a band under chest-level, and a pale blue stripe down the middle. <> Umm..... shoes are silver flip flops and got a pair of silver hoops I'm gonna wear..... Very fun blue dress and so FLOWY...... Very comfy..... tried on like a THOUSAND other dresses, and since I'm not exactly small in the chest area, most of the dresses looked pretty bad on me. They're all made for skinny COWS with no CHESTS...... But this one was pretty much the only <<artyish>> dress I could find.... the one my mom wanted was black lace and tan underneath........ to below my knees. Not very good for party, maybe a funeral. Mine is like kneeish and shorter, the fit is less oldish. I don't have a date, but wish me luck! Maybe I'll pick one up there..... ;] I hope I do..... my buds pretty much all do, and I'd feel alone..... or I could be THE crazy party girl..... <> I can make a pics vid of me at the dance to the song Crazy Little Party Girl..... Here's a vid of my favorite Host Club pairing: the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru! I mean, they're so dang cute, and yaoi rocks! Tamaki will always be my favorite host, though. And Honey-chan is ADORABLE!!!! I'm saving up to buy both DVD parts of the first season..... I have enough for the first one already! YEAH! I'm so hopelessly addicted...... He's my old BF, Evan. He's always been a great guy, and he keeps getting his heart broken by different girls. I always know who's going to hurt him before they do, and I try to warn him, but he always disregards it..... WEll, until he gets hurt. And I've always liked him.... I'm terrified.
And it's all because of what a simple book, based on the dreams of Stephenie Meyer has done to this generation.

Yesterday, my little sister told me that her friend had told her that in a fight over who was better, Edward Cullen or Jacob Black, two kids lost their lives.

And today, a friend of mine provided me with this link.

"Suddenly in a fit of rage, she picked up a beaker full of acid, and screamed 'You bastard twilight hater!!!' and threw the whole beaker of acid in my friends face. He screamed, and tried to get away, however the girl, obviously not contempt with ruining his face, got a compass out and proceeded to stab him several times with the compass. I was in a state of shock, but somehow I managed to gain enough sense to be able to knock the compass out of her hand, and tackle her to the ground. she was kicking and screaming and clawing. The other people around jumped into help me. The lecturer dragged my friend to the emergency shower and tried to wash the acid off his face. Somebody ran to get the first aiders. Meanwhile we decided to move the girl, so I got off her and a few people grappled with her and moved her to the other side of the room, and stopped her from escaping. I sat down in shock, I couldn't believe that anyone could od anything like that, because of a book."

I hadn't thought anything like that could happen because of a book either.

Now, I, myself, am not a fan of Twilight. I am honestly, only a fan of the character Jacob Black, because, well, I like him. I own a shirt that says Team Jacob on it. And because of that, I am now terrified of wearing it in public. I'm terrified of possibly being put on a list like this.

I couldn't believe that the list of attacks by twilight fangirls on those who expressed their opinions on the book was THIS LONG.
And this brutal. And I thank God that there is nothing murder. Yet. But with these attacks, who knows how long it'll take? I just hope I never see anything under that.

And on a comment that =Chibi-Kai-Chan made on my journal regarding this matter, she told me of her own experience.

But I will voice my opinion on Twilight.
Sure, I don't like the book. Sure I think it was a waste of my time to read it. And I understand why people like it, but it's just not my thing.
But this is only what I think.
Are you going to hurt me, or even kill me for what I think?

Everyone has the right to voice their opinions, without the fear of being hurt for saying it. It's in our constitution.

Twilight Fans, I know how much you like the series and its characters, and I do see why. I just hope that none of you ever escalate to anything like this. I'm begging you to not add to that list.

Those Anti-Twilight, this is a warning to you. Apparently, we can't voice our opinions on the book without the fear and the danger that someone is going to hurt us. I just hope none of you ever make it on this list.

Now, i'm not sure how the news system works, but if there's a way to get this to where everyone can see it and read, please, please, please, I'm begging you to help me out, so everyone can see this.

Okay. My mom, my sis and I went to Old Navy. I had a giftcard for $6 that was leftover from last year, and we wanted to spend it up. So, I'm looking around (mostly at reed diffusers) and I got mad that I couldn't get one. My mom insisted on clothes. So, I bought (and tried on thank God,) a black super-lacy cami. They were on sale for $6 each (fancy that). We went up to the registers, and I was getting my card out, so I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I ended up getting pushed to the counter by my sister, and I looked up to see a MALE clerk. I mean, I was holding up this MEGA-lacy monstrosity, and I got all red in the face. I handed him the cami, and he turned it over a few times. I was like WTF? O_O, and I just kinda handed him the card. He chuckled (and he was kinda cute, no joke) and I was like WHOAH.....
So then, he handed me the bag, and he goes "would you liketo open a card account?" i was like "wwhy, do I look old enough?" he goes "yeah, like 18ish. Why?" I got all blushy, said "No." and ran out.
On the way home, I wastxting my bud, telling her about it:
me: it was sooo weird!
her: omg, nikki, he WANTS you!
me: lolz thats new
her: he was prolly thinkin gross male thoughts...
