Promblem is - I have NOOO clue where to find his shirt fabric. *hangs head in shame* I know his pants, one sleeve, and "battle skirt" are made from black demin. (Trust me on this, it bugs me to see them made of leather/pleather BECAUSE LEATHER/PLEATHER does NOT HAVE A GRAIN TEXTURE!) But the shirt gives me difficulties. What is it? Twill? Sweatshirt material? Sweater Knit? Waffle Fleece? So, if anyone can help me find what it is and then find me the material, I will be a happy Cloudy.

Saix - Orgy Coat needs new zipper. Scar needs another coat of make-up, looking a lil shabby.

Rufus ShinRa (AC) - Because I promised if she did a KujaRoth rp wif meh, I'd work on Ruru. Looking into patterns and fabric, getting quotes on stuff. Need to buy a Zipper foot for my machine before I can do the pants and stoof. Also needs to get fabric to make da blankie. Wig possibly needed.

Blue Rhapsody Heartless "Loli" (Kingdom Hearts) - I'm plotting to do a Heartless "Loli" of the Blue Rhapsody. Tis in planning, looking for patterns to make the dress that's in my head. Not having much luck thus far.

Red Mage (Final Fantasy I) - Me 'n' are plotting to do the Red Mage and Ninja (or was it the Thief? TELL MEH IF I'M WRONG ZEXY-MOUSE!) from Final Fantasy I. Need patterns for Hat and Tunic, have cape pattern. Also need fabric. Lots and lots of red. And a wig, a lovely white wig.

The Man-Thong is nearly all together save for the hip straps. They need to be lined in gold and attached. Details need to be made with fabric paint.

The skirt has to be lined with gold and attached to the hip straps.

The Handwarmers are complete. The fabric paint is currently drying.

I'm still waiting for my wig to be shipped. This is really the only thing I'm worred about at this point.

Also need to finish the lapels, get Bias tape to go around the outside of the jacket, grey craft foam needs to be obtained as well as silver Rub n Buff to do the armor pieces. A custom pattern needs to be made for the "man thong" as well as that wierd thingy over his chest.

Too much to do, so little time to do it in. And I just ordered the wig at 4 pm yesterday (6/25/09), hopefully it'll get here in time to be styled on top of everything else.

No rest for the wicked, I guess. I have to work today from 1-7 and then Sat 9:30 - 3.... It cans be sleepy taim nao? I'll post photos tomorrow for y'all to see when things get a little more put together.

Can't say much about the speech class, only had it one day, but it seems like it'll be fun and interesting. Especially since it's taught by one of the school's more infamous teachers, Skip. He's another teacher in the journalism department, he handles broadcast journalism. He's rather infamous for his mouth, which was fairly evident on the first day of class.

Mother's negativity is still present, but has dropped to a low simmer. Hopefully it'll stay that way for a while.

I got a 2.2 GPA for my last semester of college. When I told my mother about my grades she went postal on me. I'm trying to accept that my extremely low grades were my own fault and I'm experiencing an extreme amount of self-doubt as well as self-loathing. My stress levels are through the roof and I've been trying to regulate them since March/April with lavender oil. A big portion of it is my mother, she's very critical of me and I can never seem to do anything to please her. And since I basically failed the last semester, it's been worse. The negative energy in my own home is destroying me and I don't know what to do.

Since I did poorly in my last semester, my mother has been suggesting I drop entierly out of college and get a full-time/ better job. I don't know what to do or what I want at all. It's a tantalizing thought because it means that I could possibly move away from my home and the negative energy that flows through it. But with the shitty economy, the job market sucks and I'm pretty much a hopeless, unmotivated, lost cause.

So, yeah, if I fall off the face of the earth, it's probably because I'm no longer motivated to keep up with my creative efforts. I'm honestly considering looking into professional help. People have suggested spiritual help, but spirituality has never really done much for me.

My computer's charger is dead again. Never buy anything from Targus if you can avoid it, at least one of their interchangeable-tip power adapters. The tips start to bend and break, which I think is what led to my comp's actual ac jack breaking last year. Anyways, seems like I had this exact same problem around the exact same time last year. I always have issues with my comps around this time and fall, right after school starts.... there must be someone out there laughing at me right now.

In other news, I think I may have the onset of carpal tunnel in my right hand. Either that or I did something to it. It's currently in this cool supportive thingy I got at CVS. Hopefully it should help. It has aliviated the pain I've been feeling lately.

Cosplay buddies are all gonna get together and act like hooligans! Of course, I'll only be able to be there some of the days because work won't let me off. Stupid manager deciding to take Spring Break off. *huff*

Aaaaaaanywho, plotting insane plots again. I wants to host an acting pannel and a make-up pannel at TnT and maaaaaaybe Izumicon (if I can get over my personal angst and gripe against those who run it). I'm planning on going, but I will make myself as non-existant as possible at Izumicon, which means: No crazy cool cosplays, just simple stuff and perhaps even plain clothes (i.e. no cosplay at all), no participation in any events, and certainly not taking part in any "crazy" stunts like last year's KH wedding.

First and foremost, Ben Nye make-up is awesome. Got my hands on some finally and I can now look 10x closer to Vincent. My skintone no longer matters, ahahahahah! I cans look dead-dead. Also have stuff to make my Saix scar, which I ran a test of some of the stuff today. Bought a kit that included Nose and Scar wax, which I moulded some into Saix's scar, I plan to make a latex one, but the wax allows me to create a good "template" as it were for the latex scar. Need to get a large mirror to make it on. I also played with some Ben Nye stage blood, man is that stuff awesome! It's really cool and looks just like real blood. Expensive, but awesome. Still experimenting with Make-up techniques to create Vexen's hollow face. I may go consult my old Drama teacher for tips.

Had dental work a few days back (wendsday) and my teeth are STILL bugging me. Been on a diet of yogurt, mac 'n' cheese, and soup the last three days. I had to get fillings on the last, upper two molars. The dentist had a hard time getting to them and when he did they hurt like hell. I can usually stand the pain with a little "laughing gas" but this time it was worse, much worse. So, for the first time, I had my teeth numbed. All I said was "Don't tell me when you do it," closed my eyes, opened my mouth, and took the shots like a "big girl." Ooooh, gods above, the relief. I was high from the gas and now my teeth were asleep. A very odd sensation. I survied thanks to Nightwish and a few other good "dental time" tunes. My personal fav is "Cliffs of Dover."

Anyways, my bottom and top left molars have been bugging me since Thursday. It's kinda like that senation you get when you have fillings and bite a piece of tinfoil. Haven't taken any meds to handle it, but I think I may give the dentist a call if it doesn't improve soon. We think he may have nicked by jaw or something. Haven't been able to chew without pain, so I've only been eating things I can swallow whole or break up into small pieces and soak in water (bread and the like) won't be surprised if I drop about 10 pounds after all this is over.

Speaking of losing weight, I've lost about 14 lbs since January. Don't know how I did it, I just lost it. :blink: Wonder where it went.... hoping to keep it off though, I'm looking more like Vexen every day.

I've also promised that if I get comfortable with myself, I'll do either Yuna or Rikku to her Paine. This is looking like a distinct possibility now.

I sat on a trial where a man had been accused of stealing a car at gun point as well as illegal possesion of a firearm, aggrivated alluding arrest, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. We were certain he was guilty (he even admitted to a large amount of the crimes) to everything except the robbery. As per that crime, there wasn't enough evidence that he did it to convict him. But what this entire process has helped me realize is that it could be worse. My life is good, I've really got nothing to complain about at all. There are some things that I'm dealing with right now that could be better (more hours at work = a nicer paycheck than $50 a week), but overall there's nothing to really complain about.

That, I think, is probably the greatest reward of Jury Duty, especially for someone my age who may have a tendency to complain about every little thing that happens. As I've said, your life could be much worse, so at least be a little grateful that all you have to complain about are, where the big picture is concerned, really little things.

The shoot was fun and possible thanks to as well as the fact we had a "lovely" ice storm last week. I can't wait until I can take Vexen to a convention. Hanacon is a possibility, in negociations with my parentals for permission to go.

Let's just say that the end of sales days SUCK. Peeps running to try and get stuff while it's still on sale. :sighs: There were piles of fabric on the cutting tables, which makes it feel very fort-like. I don't like it when it feels like a fort because it makes it difficult to cut fabric, especially when people want over a yard.

What also sucked was staying 30 min after we should have left to finish up the Cleaning/Closing list. That thing is the major suck. *gags*

~The Poet's Shirt
Began work on one of my dream projects tonight. ^__^ It is my black poet's shirt. I got the linen fabric before I went into work and then went over to my grandmother's house to cut out the pattern after work. Got myself a pair of fabric scissors too. Anyways, was fun being with my grandmother, I don't spend as much time with her as I once did. It makes the both of us sad. It's even more enjoyable because we can swap stoires about working at Hancock Fabrics. ^__^ She worked at the exact same Hancock back in about 1989. 20 year gap, same crazy peoples.

Anyways! I'm gonna do some sewing tomorrow. ^__^ Will post photos when completed.

Vincent has a brand new phone! My gunmetal Razor, in all it's coolness, died on me a month ago. So, I had to go shopping for a new phone. Found out that my contract wasn't up until Jan 19, 2009, and they can only do an eary contract renewal thing (which means: new phone for less than the actual buying price) a month before, so I had to wait from November till now to upgrade mah phone.

The only problem was that AT&T no longer carries Razors, which really kinda ticked me off because I liked those phones. But, time are a changing and it's difficult just to find a flip phone anymore. I ended up getting a Nokia 6650. It's pretty cool, and RED. Very Vincent-y. ^__^ What's really cool is that I can read my text messages without even opening the thing up. Cool, ne?

That would be fun. Also can't wait to see her weapon. I want to do Xion, the only problem is that I don't have a DS in order to play the KH game she's in. I may have to go off of internet reserch.

While I am usually considered a good writer by many, my journals of late have been causing me more wangst. Let's hopefully use this one to set the record straight and clear the air.

First and foremost: About recent incidents involving comments between myself and my Roxas, I have put this passed me. I am not angsting about this topic any longer. It is in the past for me, over and done with. The now termed "Vincent is an Ass at 2 am" incident should simply be logged in the annals of NS405 and co under the folder labled "bad timing and bad comments" and forgotten.

Secondly: The events that promted the "I'm Tired" angst journal were as follows: Reno and I were at my home, lounging on my bed. Her laptop looked as thought it was about to fall off the bed. I moved it a little closer to the center of the bed so that this would not happen. As I did that I accidentally and unknowingly pressed something and the Internet Explorer screen changed into the version without the top bar and control pannel. Reno started yelling at me for doing this. I said: "Would you rather it have fallen?" to which she replies: "Yes, because then nothing would be changed." I backed off in order to try and keep calm, speaking my mind saying: "I'm tired of doing the wrong thing" when Reno finally figured out how to fix it, announcing it. I was emotionally hurt at that point, because I don't like getting yelled at by anyone. I was having a case of "No good deed goes unpunished" and angsted accordingly in my journal. I also made a few points about how I was feeling about the "Vincent is an Ass at 2 am" incident. I was citing how I was tired of saying and doing the wrong things. As I have said, I like to keep the status quo. When people are angry at me, I am a very depressed individual. I like it when people are friendly and we can all sit down and have fun without anger coming into the picture. It had seemed, to me, that I kept saying stupid stuff and doing stupid stuff and I was simply tired of myself making bad decisions and saying the wrong things. It was entirely for me, by me, and about me. It was not intended to offend anyone because I was hitting myself with a stick, not anyone else.

Which brings me to my third and final point: if you are having an issue with me, please come forward and let me know. I am a desperate and sad individual when people are angry with me and won't tell me why. I like to know what I did wrong so I can try and fix it, mostly so that the status quo is fixed again and everyone is happy and having fun. Since the "No Good Deed" incident and following journal, I have noticed that Reno had not been repling to my Texts, Phone Calls, or MSN messages. I had no clue as to what was going on. For the first four days, I was okay, a little worried, but okay. At the end of the fourth day, I was starting to get worried because Reno had not replied to anything I had said to her... at all. I was acutally going through one of our Demyx's, Chaosdragen, in order to get any hint at all at why Reno was angry with me. Tonight, we even tried to get her to talk to me by starting a 3-way convo on MSN. It didn't work and I was extremely sad and depressed, I was nearly crying because my best friend in the world was angry with me an I didn't know why. In the ensuing chaos of a few argivated keyboard smashes, it felt like I pulled something in my neck. So I went to soak for a while. Once I got back, I got back online to see if I could get Reno to talk to me again. Roxas begins to talk to me and numerous words are traded, some good, some bad, some keyboard smashes. I finally learn why Reno's been angry with me: my journals of late. So, now that I've finally been given my fault, I now seek to correct it and beg Reno's forgiveness.

Lately, I've been having lots of little personal issues and angst that I haven't really spoken to anyone about because I don't want to get yelled at, as I said I hate getting yelled at so I avoid it most of the time. And the times I do need to get something off my chest, I usually post it somewhere were someone, sometimes the person who's currently angry at me, will see it so that you and I can hopefully come to an understanding. That's all I want when I post something in my journal, I want to clarify myself better. And, yes, I understand that it can piss people off. That's fine with me, as long as you tell me what's on your mind too so that we can have dialouge (sometimes angry dialouge, but dialouge none the less) about it.

These last few weeks have been hectic: Finals comming up, worrying about grades and lack of hours at work, looking for a new cell phone (AT&T stores no longer have the Razr, which saddens me greatly), as well as having an extremely sore neck and back of late. There are three types of people in this world: aggressors, defenders, and negociators.

Aggressors live only to start trouble. They like attention, so they do stuff that gets attention. Also called "trolls" they like to say stuff about people that is hurtful and untrue just to see what kind of chaos they can cause. Basic school-yard bully stuff. Ignore them and they tend to go off for greener pastures.

Defenders are the people that agressors poke to get attention from. THey are those who will leap at the smallest thing said about them or their friends, not really caring about the fact that the more attention an agressor gets, the more likey they are to keep commenting with stupid and hurtful comments.

Negociators are people who realize the balance of power, awknowledge it, and use it to their advantage. They are the people devoted to keeping the status quo at all costs, often times going out of their way to make sure everyone's happy. They also like to play with aggressors, giving them the attention they want but doing it in a way that turns the aggressor into a defender. These are people who use logic and reason in their arguments and don't tend to react with a hairpin trigger.

As a rule, I am a Negociator. I like the status quo, it's fun and everyone's happy. I do try to spread the message of the negociator. The fact that if you DON'T FEED THE TROLL, it usually goes away. And if you feed it "quality" negociator food then they usually go away faster. This is why I usually don't comment on journals where people are either bitching about how the status quo has screwed them over, or about how so and so totally pissed them off/ dissed them/ insulted their friends and family. 99.9% of the time, if you sort-of run with what a troll says, their arguments tend to run into the ground. Case and point: the old Winx Club forums on IMDB.com. This place was a breeding ground for defenders and I wanted to shake the place up a bit, so I posted comments on why I didn't like the show. But I did something different, I posted WHY I didn't like the show, pointing out the glaring flaws. FAIR COMMENT AND CRITIZIM BITCHES!.

I'm sick and tired of it as well as trying to be the emotional support for people who claim to be "mature" but don't really have much maturity to start with. Emotion is all well and good, but needs to be better controled in most situations by most people.

So, decided we needed to have a sleep over at my house in order to style 's wig. It had just come in that day, so we needed to do a lot of work on it. We started work on it at around 10 pm and didn't stop until 1:30 am, deciding we had done as much as we could do. So, we all went to bed.

Day 1 was all about the street cosplay. Me and PencilFeather were street Vincent and Reno, having a sign proclaiming: Will Yaoi for Pocky! ......... NO POCKY WAS OBTAINED. :rant:

Anywho! I ended up (through unforseeable circumstances) getting ice cream all over my pants, so I went home about 2:30 pm. I didn't return to the con til about 6:00. Originally the plan was to go home, stick the pants in the washer, get lunch, and then go back to the con. But I was soooo tired, so I decided a 10 minute nap couldn't hurt, right? I ended up sleeping from 3:50 pm to 5:00 pm. Not good. Eventually, I did return to the con, but left about 9:00 because I was a little bored and out of cosplay.

Got harrassed by the man at the yaoi table, wanting me to buy his $35 paddle when I had made my own for about $15. He insulted mah Reno calling her a "small uke." Grrrr, no on calls mah uke small and gets away with it! Vengance shall be mine someday!

Saturday - Day 2
Saturday was a little more fun. I slept til about 9:00, but Elfgirl wanted to get to the con earler and I was her ride for the day. But, she calls me and tells me another friend will be getting her, so I'm off the hook. Anyways, I get dressed, fixing my Vincent claw (the actual glove part) a bit before heading to the con. I got there about 10:30 am - 11-ish. I hang around with some buddies while waiting to start setting up for the KH wedding. Now, the wedding was well-planned, just not well-coordinated. We had planned to start at 3 pm but didn't get started until 3:30 :sigh: Oh well! At least they got Neo Queen Serenity's blessing, which is all good by moi!

Oh well, was still fun marrying Namine and Roxas, which also taught me the extent to which people at cons don't like Het. After the wedding, we ended up just chilling around with one of the con staff as well as Reno and our buddy Cheyene. We went to Stake'n'Shake before the Cosplay contest, came back and watched teh contest, then met :chaosdragon: and her buddies..... random crack ensued. This crack included: videos, me joining Tseng's harem to keep him from shooting me (the Harem cosists of me, Elena, Demyx , and Namine), and being Zack's "horsey" for a little while.

Lost track of time before heading home at 10:00 pm.

Sunday - Day 3
Went and picked Elfgirl up at about 10:00 am, then went to Sonic and got brunch (motsarella sticks and Dr. Pepper, brunch of champions right thar!) before getting to the con at 11:00 am. Kicked around for a while, hung out with Demyx for a bit, then with the Lulu from the previous night at her booth. Then I hung out with when Lulu left. Took some photos with Sky Pirate (amazing guy, gotta love him) and then took Elfgirl to get some boots for a guy she met at the con before dropping her back off at the con. Headed home and crashed on the sofa with my chocobo plushie, Cecil.

All in all, not a bad con. There needed to be more VincentReno yaoi photos tho.....

1) Wash Vincent costume. This must be done by hand because we're afraid the cape will come appart if washed in the washing machine. The headband and wig cap can be tossed into the washer though.

2) Pay Dad back. Must pay dad back for pre-ordering my Izumicon ticket. I also paid for .

3) Go buy Pocky and Ramune. This stuff tends to be a little more expensive at the con, so I'm going to go buy all my Pocky and Ramune at the local Korean Food Mart. Is best place in the city to buy Asian food-stuffs!

4) Write wedding script and make playlist. Yush... we is having a Kingdom Hearts Roxas/Namine wedding and Vincent is the priest! Yaaaay! I is also providing the music for the event. iHomes and a 4CD set of classical music can be a beautiful thing when combined.

5) Gather supplies. Usually done the day/ night before the con. I gather up everything that I'm gonna need for the next three days. It'll all get dumped into the car.

6) Clean car. The inside of my car is hideously filthy! It needs to be cleaned before Izumicon. The outside could do with some cleaning too, and I need gas. SO!

That's my pre-Izumicon laundry list, which doesn't look that long, but feels like it.

If you haven't been keeping up with a dear friend's, Elfgirl's, journals, let me fill you in. There's recently been some drama going on with a "friend." For the purposes of rantage, this "friend" will not be named, but she knows who she is. See, what she's been doing could be considered the ultimate in trollage, because instead of internet trollage, her's may be real life trollage. In a nice little nutshell: we don't know if the people she talks about are real or not. We've never seen a real photograph of these people, never have had any real contact of any kind. All messages from them have been through her and I even believe "their" Deviantart accounts to be SockPuppets she's using to try and build credability, but they are failing miserably because these accounts are only used to insult us and boost up her, JUST LIKE A TROLL'S SOCKPUPPET. There is nothing on these deviant accounts to prove that these people really are there, besides a few pictures of objects that could easily have been posted by this "friend". Until proven otherwise with CONCRETE, BELEIVABLE evidence, I will stick to my guns on this belief.

Now, said "friend" gets all butthurt whenever we confront her with this, which makes me believe EVEN MORE that she's not giving us a true story. Now, if you were serious about proving someone existed, you'd probably pull out all the stops: photographs, cell phone numbers (if you trusted the person you were giving it too), family ablums, ect. ESPECIALLY if these people were family or considered family. You'd think you'd have tons of photographs, right? Said "friend," even though the people she talks about are her family, has only shown us one photo that doesn't look like it was taken by your average household camera nor does it look like it was taken in the conditions it was said to be taken in (i.e. Taken in a small room and the person was caught by surprise). Honestly? I'm sick and fucking tired of all this tip-toeing around people's feelings. Usually I care because if you play to their sympathies, you get truer answers, but that doesn't work with this person.

Anyways, what's got me all ticked off is that I'm recieveing SockPuppet messages on my DeviantArt because either a) I made comments on her devArt that could be read as me being butthurt about her cosplaying as Vincent Valentine or b) She finally found out (via the dear friend mentioned far above *points to beginning of rant*) that I'm cosplaying as Demyx... her character for which she doesn't have any form of costume prepared for yet, that we've seen. AND that she's telling falacies about her "attention to detail."

Now, as for her being Vincent, I'm cool with that, I'm a little ticked, but I know that there's really nothing I can do to change that. I ran into a guy buying fabric for his Vincent costume and I was okay with that. Why am I not as okay with *her* being Vincent? Hmmm... maybe it's because I want to see the character some justice done, not just a tossed-together costume that looks like crap? But that would be asking too much, wouldn't it? I mean, if you're going to do a costume... go ALL The way and make sure you know what the hell your doing, especially when it comes to terminology concerning pieces of your costume. Calling something a "thingy" doesn't do it justice, unless it really is a "thingy." And possibly having more than a thrid-grade maturity level when someone gives you critique, resorting to cussing to get your point across isn't fucking allowed in some places, critique being one of them.

Of course, all I ask for in return for my admisson of non-anger at her being "my" character, I ask that she take back comments made by her "boyfriend/fiance" on my page about how I'm a bitch, I am not a female dog THANK YOU! Oh, and also the same understanding that if I choose to be Demyx, that's my choice and there's nothing she can do to change that, just as I cannot change the fact that the other young man is choosing to be Vincent. Oh... and please don't claim you have attention to detail, lady (and I use that term loosely). Bringing only one can of haircolor spray and hoping it's enough, especially when you know there's not much left, isn't attention to detail. That's called "FAIL." I kinda got into it on my own and dragged lots of people along with me. ^____^ It was photos of Comic-Con and the girls of HCC cosplay that really inspired me to go out and cosplay... as well as finding out about Izumicon.

Vincent Valentine. He's my first true cosplay as well as one of the one's I'm the most fond of. He's a fun character to play and people seem to really like the cosplay.

Anyways, we is having b-day party to day, I don't really intend to get anything, especially from my parents, seeing as I've gotten everything I could want and/or need for a while: I has my car (A 2006 Nissan Altima *tee hee... ULTIMA!*), my Laptop is in tip-top shape now (had broken AC jack, got fixed two weeks ago), I got to go to Tokyo in Tulsa (I see it as a gift in itself), and my parents are pretty much paying for college for me right now. I feel like I shouldn't really ask for anything else.

The only thing I could and do want is for all the drama to die down. If it's not one thing it's another and I'm getting reeeeeeaaaaallly tired of it. I was hanging out with my friends yesterday and by the time they were still ready to get up and go do more stuff, I was physically and emotionally exhausted. I had drop me back off at my house early. Mostly I was also tired of some of the conversation: mostly the drama that's been going on lately as well as we got onto the death of Karey (a drama kid who was in a car wreck last Feburary) and I'm just tired of hearing people say what they're going to do to my cat the next time he attacks them. Okay, yes, I know he's the Satan cat. Yes, I know he attacks you. No, you do not have to keep bringing it up to me. Whenever anyone comes over and stays in my room, I put Dante into the bathroom. I care about whether he attacks you or not, but I do NOT want to hear what you'd like to do to him. I feel really bad whenever he attacks someone. I genuenly care about him as a pet and as a "furry baby." He's helped me through a lot, including the death of my previous cat, Pan, who I know was a lot nicer than Dante. I still mourn Pan, so if you could avoid bringing him up, that'd be nice too. So, if you could just stop it with the "the next time he attacks me, he'll be flying across the room" I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, we're moving all conversations and whatnot to the living room or outside the house. And if I burst into hysterics the next time someone threatens my cat, please understand that it's mostly because I do like him and he does like me, to some degree, and it really does hurt whenever you threaten to harm him.

I - Vincent Valentine: the most BA gunner to grace the Final Fantasy series. A man of few words and deep character, Vincent's demons are very real and there's four of them.

II - Ariel: No, not the Little Mermaid's Ariel, Shakespeare's "The Tempest's" Ariel. A flighty, fiery fey who just wants to be free from a demanding and controling master.

III - Smendrick, The Magician: Possibly the best character in The Last Unicorn, a bumbling magician with a heart of gold. He isn't very successful until the end of the book, but he's still a very endearing character none the less.

IV - Jareth: The Goblin King of Jim Henson's Labyrinth has always been a favorite. The best villan of the 80's if you ask me. He proves that evil is definitely sexier!

V - Halt: Possibly the coolest character in the Ranger's Apprentice series, Halt is an amazing character and an even better teacher. Funny and Smart, he makes me laugh in almost every scene he's in, especially in "The Icebound Land."

VI - Ryuk: Death Note's resident Shinigami, his character is so interesting. He doesn't have to be pretty to amuse me, simply the way he kind of sits out and watches whatever's going on while providing sometimes snarky, sometimes hillarious commentary. His love of apples also makes me laugh, especially when he's all twisted up because he can't have any!

VII - Crowley: Good Omens is a story about mis-haps during the Apocolypse and Crowley is the demon at the center of it all. Misplacing the Anti-Christ, killing a higher-up demon with holy water, and trapping another in a phone line, Crowley is certainly a cool demon and an even more entertaining character.

VIII - Elphaba: Wicked is one of the best books of our time, it explores the one of the darker characters of the Wizard of Oz and gives solid reasons for what she is doing instead of just making her plain evil for the sake of it. Maguire is something of a genious to me for this.

Speaking of Cosplaying... I need to get cracking on my Aerith (FFVII Style) costume for Tokyo in Tulsa (that is, if I get to GO to TnT). My friend is going as Zack from Crisis Core so we're going to have a lot of fun with these costumes. My boyfriend should be getting a Sephiroth ready for Tokyo in Tulsa or Izumicon '08. I'm excited though, cuz Izumicon 08 is going to be at the Reed Center in MWC! Yaaaaaaaay! It's right next to Rose State College. It's also going to be later in the month, over Thanksgiving break I think. That might be kinda crappy for peeps though who have to go out of town to visit fambly... never have I been so happy that all my family live in OK and all around the metro area. I am really excited about my cosplay group though, we've got a lot of peeps interested in the activity, so bigger group. Also making alliances with other peeps, or at least hoping we are.

Starting work on my Senior Memory book. Honestly, worst project EVER! It's a scrapbook that's mandatory, therefore taking all the fun out of the activity! I'm only lucky I have a large supply of materials lying around because I used to be really into the whole Scrapbooking thing. Got back into it to do a Cosplay Scrapbook for my group. I need to get Izumicon 07 and the Vintage Stock Cosplay contest in there, yup yup. Anyways, I go sleep sleep nao!

Also feeling honored for mah cosplaying skilz. I gots me 2nd place at the Vintage Stock Cosplay Contest last Saturday. AND it was through popular vote, which just says "sweet action" to me. I feel that the wig was a big part of it, I didn't have the wig during Izumicon, but it really does help me feel much more in character now that I have actually black hair styled kinda like Vincent. No longer am I Geostigma Vincent ahahahahaha! I also made new friends, specifically Neji-nii-san, aka Riku. Have short crack vid that needs to be posted on Youtube.... ehehehehehe. ^______^
