My knitting hasn't stopped but I've mostly been making really boring stuff that people asked for, or a shawl that I designed but can't manage to get a good photo.
I'm graduating from undergrad in a matter of days. I'm so burnt out that I'm going to work in boyfriend's hometown for a year before going back to grad school. Don't have a job lined up yet or a place to stay worked out yet.
Hopefully when I've got a 9-5 job I'll have time to get back to doing the things I love like my crafts and reading for fun instead of just obscure research. *Self note* First on that list of hobbies to take up again is Ukrainian Easter eggs.

I'm trying something new as far as crochet (not my strong suit so I'm fixing it hopefully) over Thanksgiving break (hopefully, I'll be able to stick it in my purse once I start to get the hang of it).

I really should also finish the sleeper thing for my cousin's baby (I've tried to sew up the sleeves at least 6 different ways so I'm a bit discouraged if not stuck and the child's growth will not wait for me to figure it out) and I should finish the hat grams actually asked for (but i can't find it).

Ok this is gonna be difficult cause only others will think your habits are weird, to yourself.. well its normal

1,If I'm not around people, I'll forget to eat the entire day despite being hypoglycemic. If i forget breakfast i don't feel hungry until 3 o'clock (when my blood sugars drop) then i usually opt for pain killers for the migraine and try to sleep it off.

2, I like to read and knit at the same time. As long as I don't have to hold up the thing I'm reading (stuff on computer or I have this book stand thing), my fingers can mindlessly knit along on the project I'm working on as long as it's not something too complicated.

3, I forget I'm watching a movie and leave the room, so I have to watch movies at home peice mail style. It actually works out well b/c my roommate likes to watch movies over and over and over again, and her boyfriend does the same thing only instead of leaving the room, he falls asleep.

4, I would rather drive in stop and go traffic on a highway for hours than go shopping at the mall. When I go shopping it's a retreival operation not a stock inventory.

5, I wore a black shirt everyday for a year in high school. I refused to wear pink, purple, orange, and nearly all shades of yellow. I have very strong feelings towards color.

6, I love organizing things. I'll organize my books by type, by auther's name in alphabetical order, date released, title in alphabetical order... it's relaxing.

needless to say, since i could barely sit up for most of the day, none of the 3 essays i wanted to have done today have even been started. and i couldn't have started them any sooner than today b/c my computer keeps crashing, sometimes it let's me re-boot in safe mode, sometimes not. so i need to back up a lot of files and decide what to delete to make room in the memory on my computer.

to all those fond of my blue hair: my cousin is getting married in march so my mom finally talked me into getting the blue cut out. i actually like short hair as much as i like long, it's just the lack of blue that gives me the slight tinge of sad. never fear i shall have it blued again when i return from the wedding. i think i made the hair dressor feel bad b/c seeing the blue all go away was dramatic, and she thought i wasn't happy w/ the short.

i'm sorry for the whine but... i wanted to and it's my journal. phlubbb. (thanks for reading.)
